4421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Not User Friendly Yet on: October 12, 2020, 11:16:50 PM
What kind of "User-friendly" do you mean? Its utility? Well, Bitcoin maybe not perfect enough moreover it is not used yet for payment transactions around the world, only limited to several companies or parties that accept BTC as payment.
But, what I understand from your point is not friendly yet seen from its user.
Well let's say this:
...However we are far from that. One thing that I am finding is Bitcoin is still not user friendly enough.
Many people even who are young like 25 and under and even over 25 etc. Are not tech knowledge or financial educated enough to understand.
..
I do not know what happens in your country, but in my country, there are a growing community and many more people who are involved and interested in Bitcoin. As for what, I experienced in the past, yes I can't understand Bitcoin because it is a new technology for me. But, does it mean that I can't? NO! I will never be able to understand about BTC is I don't learn about it exactly, don't read about the information of BTC, and don't follow about the BTC progress. If I don't do so, I will never know and understand about BTC.
So do the other people out there, I am sure that if they do learn and try to understand about BTC, they will really know about it.
So, it relates to how we personally stare and concern about BTC itself.

But of course, it needs our involvement again to share more about BTC to many more people and ware of BTC.
4422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin truly moving forward? on: October 12, 2020, 10:53:54 PM
It seems that you only see the development and movement of Bitcoin from the price, not the value. Price is related to the number to see the rate of BTC. But Value is different, Bitcoin has value because it has supply & demand, scarcity, and also utility. We know that BTC is limited, don't we? This is also what makes the Bitcoin value increase.

Now we find bitcoin going low, Now I want us to understand no matter how dollar fall it can be as bitcoin, What is the solution of getting this solved?
No, Bitcoin is not always going low, BTC price is volatile, still very volatile that can make the price up dan down easily. We can control it because Bitcoin is decentralized, the market will do and there are lots of people who play BTC on the market.
But, this is what the daily traders utilize to get profits, from its volatility.
However, if we are investors, moreover long-term investors, we may not focus on the volatility of daily movement. You may not be confused, if you bought it in $15k and BTC is down to $5k, so must hold it. Hold it until the price is going up. Many long term investors experience this and they still hold the BTC for the shake of avoiding lost.
4423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi - The Scam Engine? on: October 11, 2020, 11:58:45 PM
When a coin emerges very successfully in a project, there will be many other projects that follow the hype, making such quite similar projects with quite a similar name, only different in letters. Well, it seems like the habit of adoption only s still exist there. That is why it will lay on our decision here to follow or not Personally, I will not be interested in that kind of children and families of the new successful coins because they may only exist because of hype and will end soon after the hype ends.
4424  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion about newbies on: October 11, 2020, 11:49:15 PM
Actually, there have been so many topics that notice how to be a good newbie and member of this forum. However, everybody is different, it will depend on the newbies whether they really want to contribute well or not, whether they want to read and learn or not.
But special for the scammers, whether they are newbies or not, they will always ignore the rules, and they will always only focus on spreading scams, attracting many more victims.
That is why we are as members here can report their post or thread to the moderator and then the moderators will execute them.
4425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM installed at Elon Musk’s Tesla Gigafactory on: October 11, 2020, 11:28:24 PM
It is good news, but it doesn't mean that something bullish sign or big thing may come because of this. We must ensure whether the ATM is really instaled and used for wider and bigger transactions again. We still do not get any information or announcement officially by them. We also still do not know if the ATM will be used as main payment or only provide for any transaction using BTC. That is why we may not speculate too high because of this.

What do you mean by "coming from Elon"? The ATM is owned and installed by LibertyX ATM, which is not Elon's. LibertyX ATM is a separate company who also made a name by being the owner of the largest Bitcoin ATM network in the USA.
I think OP didn't mean that. He thinks about the probabilities if a big name as Elon Musk provides Bitcoin ATM there, it may increase the trust from many more people to come into Bitcoin, probably it will also encourage his workers and employees there to use and close to BTC. Ad if it really happens, of course, it will give some good impacts, but we can't ensure totally it will be high or not
4426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 11, 2020, 06:06:59 PM
But this time La Liga will be very competitive. Atletico Madrid is very good team in this time.
Sorry, but I don't think this season is the best time for Atletico Madrid. They started this season with unsatisfied results. Look at the table, he played 3 times, win 1 time only and draw 2 times. Consequently, they dropped to 12th place. In my opinion, a club that Barcelona must watch out is Real Madrid.

I don't think Messi is interested in staying Barcelona anymore.
Who knows! How if Barcelona management offers him to be an assistant coach if he stayed. Then, he has a chance to be a Barcelona coach in the future. I think it is very possible and hard to refuse.

I think his goal is to win the World Cup for Argentina. (it is my personal opinion, don't think that Messi said that on media)
All people know about this. Of course, he is very ambitious to have the World Cup trophy. It is easy to say since he never wins it, and he probably needs it to complete his career in football. Surely, we don't need to prove it with his statement on media. We all know he wants it.

4429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitfinex hackers move another $30million on: October 10, 2020, 11:57:32 PM
It means that the hackers also do it carefully, splitting the BTC into several times movement to ignore the big possibilities to be discovered. And probably, they also seek the right moment, when the price is rising up at a certain time. And of course, they should make it as real and fluent as possible or they will be discovered and arrested.
But, can what they do give impact tot he price of BTC right now or in the future? I am not sure that they wnat to dump the price, but, who knows if they have that such high amount of BTC.

Two arrests have been made last year in connection with this hack?
We still can't confirm it yet. But, if it is from Bitfinex, they are probably in one relation. But, who knows that they are in the same gang of hackers. they must know the risks if they spend more BTC at one time or in a short time. So, they will manage to move the BTC very carefully. About two arrested, hopefully, they are, the one that has the key of the stolen BTC.

I remember about a hacker in my country that has been arrested after some years being hackers and discovered.
He lived so peacefully being a rich man, and it ends after the police arrest him.

it means that if hackers do some accidental or careless things about moving the BTC carelessly, the risks will be higher to be known hackers and arrested.

4430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin and exchngers and others on: October 10, 2020, 11:47:52 PM
so how do we know that crypto exchngers dont sell us the coins what they dont exisit?
1. Choose reputable exchanges
Ensure that you choose the reputable exchanges, no matter what the exchange. But of course, every exchange has its own reputation. You may seek the most reputable one in your country to get the best one and easily withdrawing your coins into fiat through your bank account. Alternatively, you need also to choose reputable exchanges globally. the exchanges such as Binance, Kucoin, Kraken, Coinbase, OKEx, are some of those that are reputable.

2. Exchanges that list the token/coins exactly
Well, if the coins or tokens are in the top rank and shown in CMC or Coingecko or other crypto trackers, it may be found easily on the reputable big exchanges. But, if it is a new coin that has been listed in certain small exchanges, you must be careful to buy it. For, we do not know whether it is going to be shitcoin or not.

and how do we know those big funds who bought or pretinding to buy or sell some big ammounts of cryptocurrency `?
how do we know they dont lie us ?
There are crypto explorers where we can see the history of the funds. however, if it is about in exchanges, we can believe in the exchange. And as long as we can sell or by what we want and it is fluent, we do not need to think about the funds.
But we may be roe careful if we buy the coin P2P, it may be risky.
4431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 10, 2020, 11:17:25 PM
Messi will be stay in Barcelona next season if Koeman can do something good with this team.
It is too early to say he will stay. Even Koeman can make Barcelona to win the La Liga trophy or champions league, Messi may have his own goal for his career in the future. Who knows if he wants to play in Argentina. I am not surprised if he wants to leave Barcelona whereas Barcelona can have a good result this season. Messi has stayed in Barcelona for many years, he may want another challenge in another country.

Messi's career is almost over. I think, now his only goal is champion league's title.
Does he state that the only goal for him is the Champions League trophy now?
I didn't hear yet that he stated about it. It is true that the Champions League trophy is the most prestigious title. But how he wants a specific goal like that? He already won it many times, so I don't think he is very eager to win it.
4432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A case of the pandemic changing the score and affecting sports betting on: October 08, 2020, 09:26:10 PM
There is no choice for them, during this pandemic, all sports must also follow the health protocol. And whatever about the prediction, it can be out of the prediction because of that thing. The condition where several players are positive COVID-19 obligates them to follow the rules, cannot send them tot he sports, and cause loss. Here, it will really influence how the prediction is nothing probably because of some unexpected condition.

....What if the outcomes will change due to key players testing positive and weaker ones playing? Wouldn't it twist the games a lot, making them less predictable and less satisfying?
Do you think it's a big factor to take into account given the current situation?
For several people, it may be boring and not willing again to make such a bet. However, for others, it may be one of the challenging and curiosity of how they predict the sports bet during this pandemic. There will be some X factors that cause a team will be lost or even win in a game.
4433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: October 08, 2020, 03:54:53 PM
Nothing can be said "safe" in betting. When you enter the world of gambling or betting, we should already know the risks that can be obtained. This might be very difficult if we always win continuously or expect "safe betting".
This may affect our thinking and our readiness to be at Betting. If we lose then we may not be ready and will fall.
4434  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin talk could fix the spam in one move....REMOVE SIGNATURE...Right?? on: October 08, 2020, 03:28:37 PM
Imagine how GREAT this forum would be if you couldn't get PAID to post!!!
There's nothing wrong with a signature campaign. Not all members who use signatures will create spam posts. In fact, if you know, there are many signature campaigns that require high-quality participants and not shitposters. Signature campaign is one of the promotions of the projects, one of the ways or reasons why people are here.

Remove the signature....PROBLEM SOLVED
Can you guarantee that if members here do not use any signature, there will be no shitposts? No, because it is not the fault of the signature campaigns, but this depends on each member right here. They decide to be a shitposter or good poster.

I know your concern of this forum is good actually, but, we can't force what we have already been doing here to be nonactivated.
4435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: October 08, 2020, 03:15:56 PM
Regarding the use of Bitcoin for transactions or payments, it may not come from their personal. But it is more about the regulations in that country.
However, if the country has legalized Bitcoin and they are still not interested in Bitcoin, this is their personal business.
In this case, we cannot blame them. Because they may not know it, so they don't know the positive side of Bitcoin.
4436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 07, 2020, 11:59:37 PM
So far we have 0 positive in Juventus so what the other user was posting was a fake news.
It is good news that no players positive in Juventus. I think Juventus can make their player discipline to avoid Covid-19. In this matter, I assume the club management and the coach have a big role to remind or warn their players to live more safely. Thank god that those are just fake news, I hope the people who make fake news can be investigated and jailed. This must never happen anymore because it is related to many parties (personal life, family, clubs, and the entire football business).
4437  Economy / Economics / Re: rich people super rich are taking loans now why? what it means ? on: October 07, 2020, 11:51:26 PM
rich people around the world taking loans?
Why do we have to think about other people in such detail? So you have to know what they owe?

Well, whatever it is, they have a reason. And I believe, this rich man owes a debt not to spend time alone, but to do something, save something, or develop something.

Well, it's better if we focus on ourselves. can we go into debt and pay it? If not, it's better to stay away from debt because this will only make you miserable.
4438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is to be the beginning of the rise of cryptocurrency on: October 07, 2020, 11:43:59 PM
Hasn't the cryptocurrency adoption process already been emerging more and more sectors than before the DeFi hype and this era? In my opinion, this is not the beginning, but this is a form of development of how more people, parties, and companies and even governments are interested in and concerned about the world of cryptocurrency. Moreover, if it is about the mass adoption of using blockchain technology. It will be much wider than we think, not only about implementing blockchain for cryptocurrency but for many more sectors and systems.

I believe the ecosystem is now more mature than in 2017, in the ICO crazy.

However, I believe this DeFi farms will become the same thing as all those crazy icos: A big bubble.
True, the difference may lie in how developers create and prepare a project for real use, a more mature concept, and also a wider range of developments. And of course, both developers and crypto activists are increasingly observant and convincing about the new project. As well as extra caution when participating in new projects.

but as you said, the hype is still everywhere, just like this DeFi. We can't deny that DeFi has been developing incredibly fast. And this might be like before, just hype, bubble, and then it will fall again to be replaced by others.
4439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin and taxes buying goods and items with btc tax free on: October 07, 2020, 11:36:14 PM
So far, I do not pay for taxes. Well yeah, actually there is no regulation about taxes in cryptocurrency yet.

However, it may be different in each country, depending on the regulation and law from the country itself. I can't say that there is no tax for BTC because some countries may apply taxes for crypto.
Some countries are likely: Singapore, Portugal, Malta, Switzerland, and others. Most of them are taxed for business taxation of crypto.
Actually, taxation for crypto so far is still debatable and it may role complicated regulation.
4440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin logo on: October 07, 2020, 11:29:11 PM
what do you think about logo re-branding, or Bitcoin need a symbol and does not need a logo, since it is a decentralized currency, not a brand?
NO
This one is enough and no need to rebranding or renews the logo.
This logo has its own characteristic, history, and also brand.
If we are going to rebrand or renew the logo, who will be responsible for it? Logo contest? Or others?

There is no need to rebrand, this one is the best one, simple and meaningful.
