Noobs everywhere.

Trolls everywhere too.

Oh noes. Hackers stole my coins. LOL

That's so 2013.

Anyone who keeps their coins on an exchange deserves to have them "hacked".

I'm going to laugh when nothing happens to the price after the election.

The price seems poised to go up anyway. I'll get my laughs when some people try to attribute the rise to the US election, whoever wins.

this shit doesnt belong here.

This thread has always been a bit off-topic.

If politics is allowed, I guess sports and religion should be too.

What effect do you think the Cubs' WS victory will have on Bitcoin?

Or had? Maybe that was the real reason for Thursday's dip.

Hello.

Everyone enjoy the crash ?

Exchanges now perfectly arb'd. Bitcoin poised.

I'm not sure if I'd call it a crash.  I seemed like a routine correction.

It went from under $600 to $750 in about a month then corrected to $700. That's a 25% rise and a 7% correction. Whoop-dee-doo.

Yes, there was one day when it dipped below $680 and that was a good buying opportunity for those who could take advantage of it.

Too bad I could only afford a half a coin due to a small cash-flow issue, but adding a half coin to my stash is better than no coins at all, so I guess you could say I enjoyed it.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

It's awfully quiet around here. You could hear a pin drop.

Meanwhile the price hasn't changed much... $705 on Bitcoinaverage.

No news is good news, I guess.

Am I the only one having trouble with Bitcoinwisdom this morning?

A weekend rally tomorrow?

Hopefully. We're already almost halfway back from yesterday's little panic.

It's not quite as fast as the recovery from the Silk Road Bust panic that preceded the autumn 2013 rally, but it shows that the bull is ready to keep charging.

Bull Vs. Bear battle at the moment.

Battle? More like a dance.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

I see there's been no further panic selling after yesterday's well-timed (to coincide with a normal correction) rumors/FUD about China banning Bitcoin.

It seems that the weaklings have been washed out and we're consolidating toward the next move up.

Now the price is hovering around $700... currently $699.97 on Bitcoinaverage.

Who was it who said yesterday that the target price was $699.99? LOL  Cheesy

Tomorrow I will buy all BTC and then withdraw all from exchange.

Sorry bro. You're not buying mine, or anyone else's who keeps them safe offline in paper wallets.

Damn. I just got back from running some important errands and see I missed the first real buying opportunity since early August.

Under $690 was a buyable dip. It's since gone back up almost $20.

Oh well, I probably shouldn't be spending the fiat right now anyway. I have a few bills to pay.

 Sad

LOL Back to where we were a couple of  days ago?

Great buying opportunity!

Good morning Bitcoinland.

So we finally got an appreciable correction, all the way back down to where we were the day before yesterday... $719 on Bitcoin average.

what with the 1000 dollars i see 750

The $1000 bill shown in Elwar's post is Canadian.

You'll also note the asterisk in the $1000 post I made last night.

We're currently at about $961 CAD.

Meanwhile to get back on topic, did anyone else see what just happened at Bitstamp?

Someone threw up an ask wall of about 500 coins which is a lot for stamp.

Someone countered with a 200 coin bid wall. Moments later the ask wall was eaten and the bid wall gone.

Same person? If it was a zero-fee Chinese exchange it would be understandable, but Bitstamp?

well i miss those old guise. glad you're still around molecular.

this is some serious old school moonage we got going on here.

I think Adam could get back into his account if he took the time to do it. Maybe if a few of us went over there and gave him a poke, he'd put up with the hassle.

Shroomsie? He was always good for a chuckle. How about Jaroslaw/Walsoraj? He was hilarious.

Even Proudhon was amusing and creative for a trollbear. Bears usually take themselves much too seriously. Haven't seen him around here for a while.  I guess he's waiting for a down trend.

Top o' the morning Bitcoinland.

I knew there was a reason I woke up so early today. I see our pleasant little rally is continuing...$733 USD, $981 CAD on Bitcoinaverage. Quadruple digits are getting so close I can almost taste it.

Here we are with a new month. October was very good. Let's hope November is even better.

Of course we'll have our little retracements along the way, but our recent pattern of a proper leg up every 3-4 days with a small retracement in between is just fine with me.

morerocketgifsplease

It's a little early for rocket GIFs isn't it? Let's get a new ATH first, okay?

Here, how about we just laugh at the bears instead.  Grin

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Missed yesterday with a wicked hangover but I see we had our expected profit-taking/correction down to under $700.

It didn't last long though... we're already back up to $709 on Bitcoinaverage.

Maybe we'll see some more dumpage but it feels to me like this rally is just beginning.
