As they always give images cropped from different positions, doesn't that mean they could give us 9 squares and depending on which one we click, the AI understands which part exactly of the picture contains the target object? Some squares contain only a very small part of the object or none.

They tolerate small margins of error, so you could even select the box with an inch of that object inside and still pass.

There were times when they asked me to select a "bicycle" when the whole canvas showed a motorcycle instead.

You need to understand that savings and investment capital can't be the same thing that is why people can't be able to hold in the long term.If you are investing today and expecting a returns on next day or in few months more likely you will get negative results only.

There are such things, called the Ponzi/ MLM/ Pyramid/ money game scams. They promise a certain percentage on a daily basis and early birds are the luckier ones to profit.
4423  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Brave browser hijacking links and affiliate codes! on: June 20, 2020, 11:57:04 AM
I'm using brave browser, I think it's almost a year already but when I decided using it, it wasn't because of the factors mentioned in the OP, I was just using it because it block ads and it's faster compared to using google chrome, that's just based on my experience.

Also, just lately I noticed that advertisements already appear when I'm watching youtube videos, it looks like a google chome to me now.

This thread is interesting though, it's more technical about the project but I'm here to watch it.

Their ad blocker is sometimes broken whenever you run the latest version. Try not to update it for a while. Tends to work for me.

So what's the difference between these two? I hope it's not a MCQ Grin

Mining farm.... Roll Eyes
At the price of 4cents per kWh according to Knoema for that region, it gives a total of 1750 kWh per month consumed, that's not enough to feed two s9 miners.
Farm, lol!

Well, anything could be a farm if you're brave enough Wink

I'm no judge, and I know little to nothing about law, but if you run a crypto mining farm inside the office even if you shouldn't, and especially knowing that it isn't even related to your job, that's easily theft of government resources. Assuming everything goes fairly, chances are, that former chielf of Russia is probably going to do some jail time.

Exactly. What was that guy thinking about running an obvious farm without attracting some sort of attention.

You are not training AI for google when you solve a recaptcha.

Google will present images that sometimes has patterns that are similar to another type of image. For example, they may display paint of a cross walk at a certain angle when asking you to select all instances of stairs. The images have already been labeled and are known to google. There are many freely available datasets that are labeled, such as Imagenet. Google can also create additional images using that dataset.

I don’t know how good this service in the OP is at hiding the class of what each image is.

Interesting, I've always wondered where Google got those particular images since Googling never returned a solid answer.

Yeah, I reckon OP thinks this forum is something like CT which you get paid to post.

We get these kind every now and then.

What is stopping you from creating your own banners or paying someone to do it for you. I paid people on Fiver a few dollars to create some excellent banners for me and the referral income I got from that paid for the cost of the banners and a lot more.  Wink

People should not wait for the site owner and his staff to do all the work for them, take some own initiative and creativity and work for your own passive income.

Passive income does not just fall into your lap without any effort, you have to work hard for it and you have to continue working to sustain it.  Wink

Fiverr is good for purchasers but being a provider, it's hard when there's a bajillion designers doing the same thing for cheap (too).

if the forking is done only to remove the ref link, I think fork brave to braver will not have a good result. Because, as mentioned before, brave team has fixed it and removed all the ref links from the suggestion URL. I would also hesitate to use braver if the development is still the same as the current brave that will be able to attract users. Because,  if forking is only done with a little difference, I'm sure it won't be able to take over Brave's position. The simple thing is "using it or leave it". IMO For users who are disappointed with Brave, they will choose to leave everything connected to Brave including using the fork version.

Once you've earned and cashed out the BATs, it might be a tough decision to forego them.
4434  Other / Meta / Re: "Forum User's Day" on: June 16, 2020, 12:32:34 PM
Depends on the topic/person being questioned, if theymos decide to host AMA on this forum, there'll many question about this forum (merit, spam, etc.)

The first thing I'd ask is about his identity Cheesy
4435  Other / Off-topic / Re: What if you bought bitcoin in the early days? on: June 16, 2020, 12:01:28 PM
If I wasn't so noob and have purchased Bitcoin earlier than I did then I would have made a decent amount of money.
This stems from the fact that I do not sell the amounts that I hodl. I do not even make trades on this so the price would have gone only up and my ROI would be around 1000% at this point.

Don't we all? Grin

I remembered mining Bitcoins on my laptop and had no clue why I did that. Worse, I didn't even bother backing up my wallet private key,
4436  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you remember your first mobile phone? on: June 16, 2020, 11:58:19 AM

Got a nokia 5110 back then and also I think what was a Motorolla v10 something. That flipflop phones are the most famous in the late 90s!

Damn, those were so slick. And the Nokia N90 too.
4437  Other / Meta / Re: Can hCaptcha be used to replace ReCAPTCHA at BitcoinTalk? on: June 16, 2020, 11:49:46 AM
I'd honestly say that having both is better than just once.

Based on my experience, I solve hCAPTCHAs slower than reCAPTCHAs because it's a separate 9x9 grid unlike the latter's one canvas.

Of course reCAPTCHA has its own major caveats, primarily the slow loading ones and the click-until-there's-none-left.

I like the bolder color of those coin logos when accessing the sites, but 3/ 5 of them still have broken or non-existent SolveMedia 🙄
4440  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Brave browser hijacking links and affiliate codes! on: June 11, 2020, 06:52:40 AM
They stopped being a privacy browser when they requested for KYC from their airdrop participants. This guys are so lazy that were only able to fork chrome browser. Had to stop using it because it's no difference with chrome browser.
A big company scamming users for pennies.

It's not Brave doing this. Uphold, which they partnered with is though.
