Posting plagiarized content against forum rules, this isn't related to the trust system. So we can't do anything about it and only moderators can take appropriate actions. So please report your evidence on meta in this thread. If OP can't prove that author of the source isn't he/she, then most likely he will get a ban.

Nah, I do not agree with OP. It will increase more spam on the forum. I know there are a few high-quality newbies, but the percentage is very very low. Most likely it will no more than 1% at all. So it would be an advantage for spammers. Just let them spend more time on the forum at least become Jr. Member, so he will learn about the forum culture. If someone needs to post some important image, then they could buy a copper membership. I am not blaming that quality newbies are alt if someone, but shouldn't give advantage for spammers.

However, the number of participants will be considerably reduced. From the current list, we will keep only 20 participants and we will open 5 new slots for Sr. Member, Hero Member and Legendary Member. We will announce the list of the remaining participants tomorrow (September 09, 2020).
Thanks for the updates, according to you 5 new spot will open. So, I have a question, will removed participants are allowed to apply for the open slots? If no, then are new participants should apply now, or should wait till tomorrow for the final announcement? Thanks.

Using Ledger directly for trading isn't a good idea IMO. Because you will be always redirected to the third party exchanges, same as during buying crypto from Ledger. It's pretty simple trading anonymously with a decentralized exchange, but you will not find your appropriate trading pair. Or you may use Binance without KYC verification with withdrawal limits. But probably your IP will be revealed. So, to be completely anonymous only option is a decentralized exchange.

Seems you have a post regarding his alt account. Question is, had he abused the forum or cheated on the bounty campaign? Most likely the user doesn't like to use the forum truly since he had deleted all posts from history. Also noticed accused alt account's post history has been cleared as well. So I have my opinion below.
Since the user doesn't like to use this forum due to privacy issues and requesting you to help him by removing your posts, I think you may archive your evidence whatever you need and delete that posts. So if he feels happy for that than let him be happy. Just keep in the eye if he tries to abuse in the future then you may present an archive version of evidence.
I just express my opinions since its a matter of privacy and he requesting you rather than augments. The rest depends on you.

You guys abuse bounty and blame each other. It's pretty sure from YOSHIE posts you have been abusing the bounty campaign with alts and you are evading ban as well. Anyway, if you feel that your social media using by some other users then you should write to the appropriate manager directly with proper evidence. Posting from social accounts regarding your issue including bitcointalk username would be nice evidence. So they would take proper action. Although they do not reply to you due to lack of time but they should take appropriate action. On the other hand, the PM would be evidence for the future to defense yourself from accusation.

It's quite complicated to find such as the website from where you will find how to invest. Most of them will lead to investing in scam projects. You have to do your own diligence before invest, trusting blindly will not be a good idea. You should have historical knowledge about any coin where you are going to invest and how they are potential, what is their concept. More importantly, you should know how strong their team and community. Just spend more time with the crypto community like this forum, so you will be able to learn practically.

I am not sure if should I report this post as a zero value post. Such as questions isn't worth much, because we don't know exactly where the bitcoin price will stop. But we can say it will never stop, either it would rise or drop. You have to take your own decision if you want to buy or sell. Its true whales have been keeping major role during pump dump, but not always. They manipulate price when they need it since we don't know when it would happen, so we have to do our own diligence.

Please make sure to post the link the code when you are posting very suspicious external links like below: https://www.facebook.com/CryptoCapitalLimited/posts/192839918884351 So that anyone can't click directly to the link and will not fall in the trap as well. The giveaway scams aren't new either on Facebook or on Google. We can't take any action against the Facebook user since he isn't on the forum except the report post. Let's try with a report if the Facebook author takes action against the scammer. But I have doubts since sometimes Facebook itself advertising scams.

I think I need to study more about the DeFi system since the sound is everywhere especially when it comes to the scam accusation section. Almost all sections are full by DeFi posts and scam happening by this system as well. There are some noticeable elements in the picture which are forced me to think that pictures are fake, and most likely they are generated by a computer system. Whatever projects concept doesn't worthy investing when the team becomes fake. Investors should be careful with new DeFi scams. Don't fill scammers' pockets with your money. The so-called Decentralized Finance (DeFi) system doesn't mean they are legit always.

Long term investment, but how long? Would it be financial freedom? I don't think so. Financial freedom is that you have to ability spend your fund anytime anywhere. So just hold and hold for a long time wouldn't be a brilliant decision and wouldn't be financial freedom as well. For example, you bought bitcoin at $3K and you Holden it for 2 years, eventually, it's become $50K each, so still, do you think you need to hold more longer? If so then how long? I am also a fan of a long time holder, but my point is when I have a handsome profit then don't be greedy and enjoy your financial freedom. Don't make mistake like I am suffering by mistake of 2017.

Nah, this wouldn't a good way to mix your coin. The platform of gambling knows your every detail including your mail and IP. So you already revealed your identity there. The gambling platform or casino knows your receiving BTC address as well. On the other hand, the exchange would make trouble when funds coming from gambling sites. Because some exchanges do not accept funds from gambling and they would freeze your account due to money Laundering accusation. At this point, you are on risk, by selling peer to peer you are throwing the buyer on the same risk. That's why using bitcoin mixers is quite important and mixer companies doing their businesses as well. Basically, you are thinking that you are anonymous, but it's not really.

Existence of scams everywhere either online or real life. Cryptocurrency isn't regulated, does it mean scam not happening on the real worlds with fiat money? I don't think so, we aren't highlighting here about real worlds scam, just take look into your government then you will realize about real-life scams. Cryptocurrency scams highlighting because there is no tracking system on decentralized cryptocurrency. So it's quite impossible to identify real scammers.
Good to see that you saved your friends. I have to admit your friends wasn't much greedy, before send fund to the scammer he had asked you. If newbies share with seniors about such as scam attempts then they can save their valuable assets.

Can we please stop promoting all that Yobit shit here. I mean this thread is not even in Scam Accusations where it most definitely belongs, and creating a new one every time Yobit sends out their scam e-mails sounds a bit counterproductive to me. Instead let's bump one of the existing threads maybe once in a while and make sure not to link to any of their scam tokens or their website at all. Second that, creating new threads means drawing attention from Ponzi lovers. I am pretty sure still some users are investing in Ponzi schemes. I have been receiving mail from them as well regarding their scam tokens. I am assuming they just create a token by themselves and making us fool. So Even I am not bothering to click on their links.

It's our mistakes that we concentrate on bitcoin price at first rather learn technically. That's the reason newbies are misunderstanding about bitcoin. If a person knows technical things about bitcoin then he/she could realize how to determine bitcoin value and price. Circulating supply and buy/sell pressure is responsible for the bitcoin price and value depends on the community always. Bitcoin is fully decentralized and the price wouldn't determine by any centralized organization. But I have to admit there are some big manipulators and sometimes they create influence on the markets.

What are your experiences in using electrum? I didn't know a lot of users are having issues with blockchain. It seems like a good service for me in the first place.
If you ask about Electrum then everyone will suggest using it including me. It's a noncustodial open-source SPV wallet where everything will be under the control of you. There isn't required any KYC like blockchain. Web wallets aren't safe much, so I will not encourage you to use it if you are going to store a large amount of bitcoin. A hardware wallet is better if you can afford, if not then you may proceed with Electrum. Anyway, whatever wallet you are using, always make backup and write down seed phrases to recover your funds in case if you encounter any problems. Always seek for original website from where you are downloading software for your wallet.

Actually, market price determines by the seller/buyer. When suddenly increase sell pressure then the price would drop suddenly as well. If suddenly increase buy pressure then the price would be increasing as well. But the initial price depends on many things and I think your question isn't about the initial price. So we can say that price influences of bitcoin or other crypto come from the exchange since trading happens on there. There is one more thing, market manipulation. You should learn about it to know better research about price calculation.
