4421  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: June 05, 2014, 06:32:08 PM
Orderd 2x SP10's with Spondolies-Tech on 30 may and payd with bitcoins directly, today now at the moment i djust started them running at full speed. 5 DAYS it taks from ISRAEL to BELGIUM and no promises...Real stuff...BA can learn from it...if they survive this...

Hope companies can learn from S-T's example.  That company runs a tight ship.  No promises, no bullshit, just build miners and ship to your door within a week.

Seems like the only companies to turn to for quickest turnaround time is Bitmain and Spondoolies Tech.  No pre-order hassle with these guys.

Cryptogirl is back!  Now all we need is MRKLYE and it's party in this thread again.   Tongue

Does it matter that the 8GB SD Card only shows 7.42 GB in Windows after formatting it, since the Dragon image is 7.76 GB?

I discovered not too long ago that 8GB cards come in different sizes at their upper limit Sad Some SD's can fit images, some can't. Ended up just getting 16GB cards to play it safe.

 YMMV Sad

Gotcha.  I actually let the win32disk imager run overnight pretty much, just to see if it would fit.

When I checked it this morning, it said complete.  So I popped it back into the RaspPi, plugged it into the miner, powered on the unit, and was able to finally discover it using Advanced IP Scanner(Default Dragon IP is 192.168.1.134).

Thanks for all your help guys!!!
4424  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE EVEN MORE. UP TO 0.0016 BTCs PER POST. WEEKLY PAYOUTS. on: June 05, 2014, 03:17:36 PM
Well at least Updown confirmed my starting posts finally.

There's yet some hope to this campaign.  Hopefully all those that are supposed to get paid will get accurate amounts.

We'll see where this goes.
4425  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE EVEN MORE. UP TO 0.0016 BTCs PER POST. WEEKLY PAYOUTS. on: June 05, 2014, 12:22:22 PM
I will wait until 12pm Eastern Time, and if no one has received "automated" payment yet, I'm jumping ship.

Only a few weeks in, and not communicating with the people promoting his campaign?  Not a good sign.
4426  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [WORLDWIDE]Bitmine - 950 GH/S 1500 USD - Next day delivery. on: June 04, 2014, 10:05:01 PM
Why dont you try the dragon image?

So I downloaded Win32Disk Imager and selected the dragonboot-4BLADE-ENG.img on the E drive or SD slot of my PC.

I clicked Write, now it's going through but really slowly.

Does it matter that the 8GB SD Card only shows 7.42 GB in Windows after formatting it, since the Dragon image is 7.76 GB?

Or does that not matter when using this utility?
4427  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [WORLDWIDE]Bitmine - 950 GH/S 1500 USD - Next day delivery. on: June 04, 2014, 07:24:54 PM
Can't login to this miner.  Tried to direct connect with a PC and put it on both 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.0.1 network, but I'm unable to scan the miner using Angry IP Scanner.

Is there a step I'm missing, do I have to do anything with the Raspberry Pi before I try logging in?
4428  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: PSU for Ant S1 on: June 04, 2014, 03:16:38 PM
yeah but is there a difference between gs and cx

You want the cx600m, since it's modular.

Don't need unnecessary spaghetti wires that aren't connected to anything.

Is BA one week, the new BFL 2 weeks?

Just stringin' us along like a used tampon...

Just a FYI, for anyone who is worried about the reliabilty & stability of these units:

Thats in a non-airconditioned ambient variable from 10-25°C

It just keeps chugging away.

Hi Biffa,

what interface are you using to display your stats like above?

Yes, what interface is that, that thing looks snazzy! Smiley
4432  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE EVEN MORE. UP TO 0.0016 BTCs PER POST. WEEKLY PAYOUTS. on: June 04, 2014, 12:30:39 PM
Correct me if I'm wrong, but tomorrow(Thursday) is payday correct?

Guess we'll see if any members receive payment, since it's supposed to be automated, and if OP updates the original post on the first page.

If no one gets paid, no update, no communication...."On to the next one"
4433  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: A case study in entry-level mining on: June 04, 2014, 12:27:11 PM
That's something they don't teach you in mining school.

"The Re-invest"

With the difficulty climbs only way to stay in the game, is to re-invest into more hardware(buying new and selling old) with your profits every 3 to 6 months.

'Tis the way with technology.
4434  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What's price of miners $/G/s to be ROI wise? on: June 04, 2014, 01:13:42 AM
$1 per GH/s and less is a good roadmap to follow for ROI.

$1.5 per GH/s is stretching it, but possible with cheap electric or hosting

$2 per GH/s and up, FUGGEDABOUTIT

So basically only antminers are reasonable for now )?

I'd shoot for Antminer S2's at the right price point, because Bitmain revealed they'll provide inexpensive upgrade kits in a couple months to OC your 1 TH/s miner to close to 2 TH/s.

That or look out for a good Spondoolies Tech Groupbuy for the SP10 or SP30.

Also, look out for Friedcat's Asicminer based chips with any decent hash and power efficient miners.  R-Box sucks balls, the Avalon Gen 3 800 GH/s sucks also, but maybe another integrator will come out with something sorta worth it.
4435  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [WORLDWIDE]Bitmine - 950 GH/S 1500 USD - Next day delivery. on: June 03, 2014, 09:30:25 PM
Curious. I'm troubleshooting my latest delivery, slapped the dragon_image.img onto an SD, loaded her up, and my rig is hashing at 1THs.

Hmm.

Is there an official restore image we should be using for Bit-Tech products, specifically ?

Is the dragonminer image OK to use on these ?

EDIT: Derp, saw this earlier in the thread. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/yz02suc4j24ium4/dragonboot-4BLADE-ENG.7z
Wondering if it's safe to use the other image that's floating around. It seems to be hashing away well...

Wow, it's hashing away at 1 TH/s consistently without issue rather than the 950 GH/s advertised?  Once I receive my miner in a day or so, should I use the image from the dropbox link or another one?
4436  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is mining worth it? Thinking of investing on: June 03, 2014, 08:21:19 PM
Without access to 2 TH/s+ or higher, it's unlikely you'd ever mine back $3300 worth of BTC.

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/calculator

If you still want to mine just to learn or for hobby, get an Antminer S1 or 2.

If you're mining for profit or ROI, it'll be difficult without multiple TH/s worth of miners and cheap electric or hosting.
4437  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will Bitcoin reach $1 again? on: June 03, 2014, 07:01:10 PM
Bitcoin will probably reach $1 when China bans it for the 1000th time.

It's inevitable.   Cry
4438  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: June 03, 2014, 02:00:49 PM
Bobsag3,that X-1 that was "already on it's way" on May/29 should at least be in the US by now or "in transit" can you confirm it's status?
Just relax, i know it's hard to have patience on this but Bobsag3 will upload pictures and probably video as soon as he gets it. No amount of tracking is going to change that, he has said it is on it's way so lets just relax.

and what about x3?just new update about x3 can be on its way and nothing else :/
X3 backpane is still being worked on by 3 different groups, my guess x3 is still atleast a month out.

Does BA still post those weekly production updates, or are they in dark mode right now?

I saw David from BA support post some responses, but haven't seen an official engineering update lately.
4439  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Cloud mining or Mining in home? on: June 03, 2014, 01:50:33 PM
Cloud mining or mining at home?  Neither.

Mining at colo with low electrical and maintenance costs, perhaps.

Buy and HODL is sooooo boring.   Tongue
