https://www.betterhash.net/AMD-Radeon-Pro-W5700-mining-profitability-63128462.html
I read that these cards have the same hash rate as the 5700 XT.
An modernized BIOS is also used to increase the hash rate.

Where you read about the 50 MX, it might be RTX 2080 Super graphics cards.
Nvidia RTX 2080 does not have the best hashrate for an Ethereum coin, but on other algorithms this video card has a good result, for example, the Octopus algorithm and cuckAToo3.
Basic calculators show the result 44 MX

Picture from this forum

The first idea is that you do not have a Hunix memory, set the standard settings without a "minus"
Idea two - update Hive Os if you don't use the latest version
Idea three, swap raisers 3060 and 3070 and you can check it out.

4424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Rig on: April 17, 2021, 02:24:29 PM
The 1080p video card should be properly connected with two different 8-pin cables. But if you lower the consumption to 180 watts, you can use 1 cable 8 pin + 8pin, because Corsair RM Series power supplies have high quality cables.

I've heard of multiple cases when Corsair power supplies had their connectors melted at PSU side. Just an observation. However good any PSU might be there's always an individual who manages to fry it LOL
Any PSU should be monitored, even the best thick-wired PSU. With graphics cards that consume more than 150 watts, the power supply check should be more frequent. As soon as your farm has turned off, you need to check the contacts on the power supply.
In this situation, I would use 1 power supply
4425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: C2D MB for mining on: April 16, 2021, 11:09:48 AM
The standard voltages on the power supply for the computer are 12, 5 and 3.3 V.
Yellow 12V
Black 0V
What is the voltage on the blue wire?
If 5 or 3.3 V then you can make an adapter.
Or use 2 power supplies. A special power supply for this motherboard, the other power supply for graphics cards.
So it's possible to use two power supplies on such motherboard like that? I have one that's close to OP description in my store, I don't bother to use since I believe it can never work for mining, such a shame the motherboard have 4 pice slots for gpu
You need to buy Black Dual PSU Power Supply Sync
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32834557384.html

You can use 3 power supplies
https://aliexpress.ru/item/4000726668097.html
But then make it so that the pen power supply is used for the motherboard and hard drive,
and other power supplies:
Power supply 2 - video card 1 and 2, raiser 1 and 2
Power supply 3 - video card 3 and 4, raiser 3 and 4
FP91G can you please tell me what goes to this slot in the image below? The internal powersupply (main power supply) or the second power supply? I haven't connect two powersupply on a motherboard before so this will be a good time to learn it

This connector connects a 4-pin cable from the main power supply (which is used to power the motherboard).
The 24-pin connector connects the connectors of the controlled power supplies (power supplies to which the video cards are connected).

This Power Supply Sync will also turn off the controlled power supplies if you turn off your farm.
I used an old motherboard on a 2-core C2Duo processor (775 socket), but it didn't work for long and I had to buy a new motherboard, processor and memory.

If the graphics card settings are reset:
4 * 150 (other GPUs) +250 (1080ti) +100 (Mobo) = 950 Watts

It is better to use Hive os, I have not seen there a reset of the settings of video cards, as on a Windows system.
4427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best choices for current (2021) Ethereum mining on: April 16, 2021, 10:50:09 AM
Some companies buy 3080 and 3090 video cards for mining, and if mining is not profitable, they will be used to train neural networks.
I would not call these video cards the best for mining because they have overheating problems.
I don't buy anything from video cards yet, because everything is very expensive.
4428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining ETH and RVN on: April 16, 2021, 08:44:58 AM
Try to do it like in the video. The first miner is ethminer for the Ethereum coin, the second miner is t-rex for RVN.
If you have any questions, then ask them in this thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2350786.0
I have not tried this on my farm, so I know this question only from theoretical experience.
4429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Difficulty on: April 16, 2021, 08:33:49 AM
Mining is turning into a business for large companies. The heshrate is growing very much, so miners with a small number of video cards will soon not be profitable to mine.
Even now, so that the profit does not decrease, you need to buy new video cards every 2 weeks.
And also, many manufacturers produce special video cards for mining, so the Ethereum hash rate will grow rapidly.

in the not so distant past, small miners got rekt...now in the not so distant future large companies which are "into mining" will get rekt LOL  Grin
Home miners suffered losses in 2015 and 2018, when the profit from mining was very small. This situation may repeat itself and then large companies will also suffer losses. I read the news of large investors in mining, but they do not invest most of their funds and they do not plan to sell cryptocurrency at current prices.
Companies can afford a small loss for several years, and a home miner does not always have this opportunity.

it is the same, only the numbers are bigger with the "large investors".

the only exception is if they are like tesla or microstrategy that decided to mine instead of buying, more like a HODL strategy.
I think that you will agree that large investment companies have more opportunities, they have a lot of information and professionally assess their risks.
There are rumors about new miners for Ethereum from Bitmain, if this is true, then the payback period of video cards will greatly increase.

4431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Linux Fresh install on: April 15, 2021, 01:50:43 PM
Unless you got tons and tons of GPUs. Just use the mining linux distros and save yourself the headaches.

I would tend to do the opposite. If I had tons of GPUs I'd be more likely to use a mining distro with dedicated
mining rigs centrally managed. As it is now most of my "rigs" are actually multi purpose PCs so I need a full distro.

I tend to see mining distros as targetted at people who just want a specialist mining OS and don't necessarilly
want it to be Linux, but that's the only choice.
It is clear that you want to use each farm for other tasks, for example, data storage, Mail server, etc.
But with this use, it is inconvenient to manage mining farms when changing miners or coins. Special Linux systems for miners, such as Hive OS, allow users who do not understand Linux to manage farms.
I do not understand what you will do when the mining farms freeze or shut down. I think this is not very convenient for all tasks.

For example, you have 5 cards in your farm: 0 1 2 3 4.
0-3 are RX 470 4GB graphics cards
4 this is an RX 480 with 8GB
If you are working on Windows, then you run 2 miners.
One miner works with video cards 0 1 2 3, another miner uses only video card number 4.
You will need more RAM.
Here is an example of mining ETH and RVN on one farm
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NhyvKXj4vYs
Russian, but I think you will understand how it is configured.
4434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Miners cheat with stale shares? on: April 15, 2021, 01:07:11 PM
In practice, I have not met any complaints about blocking accounts on the pool for this reason. If you are a respectable miner who has been mining for a long time and does not cheat, then you will not have any problems.
Any statistics of payments can be tracked on the pool, and if your result is doubtful, then no one wants to lose their money.
4435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ROI minning on: April 15, 2021, 01:01:59 PM
i have no eletricity cost which mining coin will be good ?

You'd better have free graphics cards.
Look at the site for the profit and payback periods of each video card or ASIC
https://whattomine.com/
You will need a good investment if you want to build a new mining farm from video cards. Asik consumes more energy and makes a lot of noise.
Choose the most profitable coin for mining depending on your hardware.
4436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Until when? on: April 15, 2021, 12:56:11 PM
Swap 30-50% of your crypto assets for stablecoins if you are afraid of losing money.
Due to the Coinbase listing, the cryptocurrency market can grow dramatically. I'm afraid to buy coins because they are very expensive. All miners want Ethereum mining to be profitable for as long as possible.

You can adjust any consumption parameters manually. Read the instructions for the claymore miner and insist the values you need for:
 -cvddc
-mvddc
Example:
Quote
-tt 65 -tstop 85 -cclock 1130 -mclock 2150 -cvddc 850 -mvddc 850
I saw a BIOS that shows low consumption, but the actual consumption of the video card does not change
Why pay money for this?
4439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Linux Fresh install on: April 14, 2021, 04:26:07 PM
You choose the most difficult path in mining.
Do you want to make money or experiment?
HiveOS, RaveOS and other systems have come a long way and made a good product with a user-friendly interface and monitoring for the miner. 1 farm you have is free for testing.
If there are 2 farms, then you need to pay $ 3 per month for each.
4440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Running rx580 at OC speed 24/7 on: April 14, 2021, 04:18:56 PM
You are right pal, crossfire is very common among PC gamers before we start seeing better high end standalone GPUs like GTX1080Ti, still I've not seen a dead gpu been used in crossfire connection for gaming but another thing is gamers off system ( PC ) when they are done gaming, atleast for some hours not mining, there is a difference here don't you think?
I didn't understand how the GTX1080Ti video cards use the crossfire connection.
Many gamers play 12 hours a day, so the gaming cases are equipped with good additional cooling.
I can't tell you which operating mode is harder for a video card, but any miner or gamer knows that good cooling of a video card will extend the life of the GPU.
