Can't wait for Saturday, and although this game has not started yet, I'm already thinking on when we'll have another one? Smiley

I can see 5 people are there already:

Hopefully, tomorrow there'll be more of us. Smiley

Again, thanks for organizing this, @efialtis!

I know how crazy the sports are becoming more of a fraud business nowadays than how sports has being played before.
These athletes deserves a lifetime ban from the game.

Talking about fixed games around the world in general, I wouldn't say that we have more fixed games today than we used to have in the past. Actually, I think it's the opposite: with cameras in everyone's pocket and with the ability of uploading videos on YouTube right away, performing a fraud is becoming harder and harder these days. There were tons of fixed games in the past, we just don't have records of them.

I wouldn't blame you for using this strategy, because most of the time it's rather right than wrong. However, imagine a situation when BTC goes either above $100k or below $40k within the 4 remaining days. We all know it's possible, and sure as hell we would bet on other ranges if something like that happened, right? Smiley But, as I said, your strategy isn't a bad one, and I'm using it too, from time to time.

I'm sitting this one out, gotta cash out my sweet Satoshis to buy some poo poo coins Grin

Based on the recent movements, I reckon it might hover between 55 - 60K. But that's just me.

Looking at the current dynamic, I wouldn't bet on the "$55k-$60k" range, especially with those multipliers: 2.24x for "$57,501 - $60,000" and 7.22x for "$55,001 - $57,500".

The two ranges below are looking much more attractive to me

But, of course, we have to keep in mind that it's Bitcoin, and things can change  a lot during the upcoming week, one way or the other.

Btw, @arallmuus, that's why I never buy bonus game with real money. You said you were doing it, so what's your overall experience with bonus games?

Overall Im probably break even across all sites that has these 3rd party slots. Probably some small profits like $100ish because few weeks ago I landed 3294x from Chaos Crew slot. Totally not sure about those numbers but overall I kinda enjoy it, it has been great sometimes and shits most of the time but yeah I think its pretty decent compared with having to roll over 300 spins just to land one bonus round
~

I've been playing slots quite a lot in the recent times, so I know exactly what you are talking about. It's really annoying when you are playing and playing thinking the bonus is just about to pop up, and it doesn't. What I do is I play several bonus games in demo mode(sometimes with max buy-in, like $500), and it's kinda win-win to me: I enjoy winning big even in demo mode(like yesterday I "won" 1,500 FUN on MT2 out of 500 payed), and if I lose a lot, I'm happy I wasn't playing with real money.  Grin

I don't plan to compete with them not even for TOP 5000 because I know my limits  Cheesy I just watched what games they played also observe what strategies are used
If you want to watch it you can check it out on Twitch there are 3 streamers who took part in the contest  LOOPOO top 10, classybeef top 11 & 12 , ProdigyDDK top 22

As I can only see top 10 players, may I know what is the current wager done by the 5000th winner? I am also trying to gamble slowly and wager something huge this time but due to my limited bankroll, it is not possible for me to go big on my bets as not all can be winning bets. I am still trying to cautiously play and wager at least to come in the last 4000-5000 winners.  Grin

I can see 19 top positions with 19th player wagered over $11 million:

It's mind-blowing how many people on Stake can wager millions within just 3 weeks!

Right now it seems like Syztmz is unreachable

but we still have 9 days left, so anything can happen. Smiley

I feel that it is related to the use of VPN, perhaps those who gets the pops up are those who use VPN while playing on roobet. Maybe those who gets the pops up can confirm here in this thread whether they use VPN or not.
I Never use VPN since then for playing Gambling But yet i was requested to send and undergo KYC so i think this is random? or maybe for everyone but just taking part by part so some others did not have requested for now but for sure will be in the enxt days.

I don't use VPN either, but was requested to fill out the form others talking about in this thread. So, there's clearly no connection to VPN usage.

Overall, I feel like we'll be asked to fill out such forms more and more in the future, and I personally have nothing against it. In the world we are living, anyone can be traced if needed, even spies from the top intelligence agencies, so thinking that you'll be more secure without providing KYC to Roobet is a bit naive, imo.

I'm not saying that we should provide our personal info to anyone on the web who's asking for it, but I trust Roobet and that's why I filled the form with honest info.

this is what a low quality rigged match looks like, i believe that a lot of sports and even professionnel teams and athletes rig some matches, and we probably saw it live and we were like "how did he miss something like that ?" when it actually was intentional, i actually thought that WWE fights were real when i was young, and i know a lot of people who were arguing whether it was real or they just follow scenario, if they didn't Exaggerate in their fights and scenarios, people would not find out that it's fake, and they would only have some doubts.

That's why we've got to give credit to the players from OP's video. Those were told by their manager what outcome of the game should be, but they weren't trying to make it look real. After re-watching the video, I even think they wanted it to look fake.

I'm afraid I have no play money anymore.

Things have quite unravelled for me lately. But I think Ill be moving to supported accommodation soon.

Maybe when I am stabilised I could rejoin you guys

Man, we all want you in the Series, but above all we want you to get well soon. I really miss your streams, and I'm rooting for you to get back to normal sooner than anyone can predict.

Regarding next Series, I'm out of ideas, guys. I don't think that the occasional need to reload/relogin is our main problem. There are other reasons why people don't want to participate, but, apart from rare exceptions, they are not telling us about their reasons.

I wonder how people can get away with this kind of habit because by reading posts that are related to gambling, I haven't seen someone quit after they won big. Maybe they have that kind of want that they will gonna win some big if they back and try again. I have seen someone who trading in the crypto market but in gambling, they only quit if there is no hope anymore. They would have done that earlier before they lose big time.

Liv Boeree, a former professional poker player, can serve as a good example for many of us gamblers. In November 2019, after earning over $3,800,000 in live tournaments, she decided to  quit professional poker.

Being a great poker player, she decided to quit because she knew that even in poker, a lot of things still depends on luck.

And poker depends on luck only partially, while most of the games we play depend on luck by 100%. So, here's my advice: if you accidentally hit the jackpot and won $1,000 out of your $1 bet, do not raise the stakes thinking that you would win $100k with a $100 bet, rather(if you don't want to quit completely) lower your stakes and play less frequently. You will last longer this way.
4439  Economy / Economics / Re: I think Bitcoin is the biggest bubble and ponzi in the universe or it isn't? on: April 20, 2021, 11:58:01 AM
is it a ponzi or is it a buuble?
Make up your mind. For example bubble was the marihuana stocks. Ponzi is when there is no inherit value or utilty in the asset and it keeps growinf till it goes to zero when everyone founds out.

BTC could be in a bubble, but it is not a ponzi.

That's right, and for those who are interested in a detailed research here's a good article on why Bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme. Probably one of the best proofs is the following(citing from the article): "Ponzi scheme promoters sometimes try to prevent participants from cashing out by offering even higher returns for staying put." Bitcoin holders can cashout whenever they want without someone preventing them from doing so, and not because they are allowed to, but because there's no one to ask permission, in the first place. There are also other characteristics of Bitcoin that no Ponzi scheme possesses, but this one is very convincing, imo.

The prices have been resilient for quite some time now, but I'll reserve my judgement until the final week as we saw a price jump of 2K today Grin
Yeah, me too. Smiley It's interesting that despite of the all recent events, the odds haven't changed much over the last 3 days:

Many people, like me and you, are aslo waiting for the last day to bet.
You guys can wait as much as you want but the reality is that bitcoin could switch twice before the end of the month as well. Like the last day will come for betting, you will bet one week before and that means you will have a week of chance to win something depending on what it is at that moment, let's say it reached to 70k by that time, and you wagered 70-80 one because that seems more possible, and not only I am saying that it may fall after that, we all know that, you calculate that when you wager, but I am saying that it could literally go over 80k and make your bet a losing bet AND then drop under 70k to make your bet a losing one again, literally could do both ways at the same time as well.

This is why I do not think that we should be considering betting at the last second as something advantageous, I rather do mine on as soon as it comes out to take advantage of the time weight multiplier.
