As you all know, Nefario's erratic behavior during the past month rendered asset issuers unable to fulfill their obligations to share owners, with hopes of recovery slipping slowly from the realm of the probable to the realm of possible as the weeks went by.
With the recent disappearance of the glbse server from the Internet (502 Bad Gateway as of yesterday) any sort of recovery seems moreover improbable. Consequently we regretfully announce that should the ownership situation of GIGAMINING not be remedied by December 1st, F.GIGA.ETF will be delisted and all shares held discarded as worthless.
The symbol is not currently locked from trading nor will it be locked up until that date, however volume has been consistently zero for the past few weeks. With this we also kindly ask all our full service brokers to check with any clients placing orders on that symbol and make sure they are in fact up to date.

The somewhat concerning part of all this is that as money keeps getting passed back and forth all sums are eventually ground up into smaller and smaller bits until all satoshis are actually broken apart and travel independently (ie, all payments are actually made up of that many satoshi). What then, Satoshalipse?!
No. When a lot of inputs go to one output, they r combined into a big solid chunk of satoshis. Next transaction from the output address will have only 1 input. Ah ok, thanks for that. |

No, you're right and I apologize that we are not shipping in the estimated six weeks from when I made that post.
That said, I still stand by the other statements, shipping dates not withstanding.

The code that determines the 'required fee' is quite complex. It depends of a whole bunch of factors. 0.0005 is more than is required for some transactions, and much less than is required for others.
It would probably be worth checking that the included fee is sufficient (according the satoshi client's rules) before processing each bet, rather than using a hardcoded value like 0.0005 or 0.001 BTC.
Like deepceleron says, if I place a bet made up of lots of 1 satoshi pieces, the required fee will likely be substantially higher than 0.01 BTC.

Nefario didn't care to comment then and I'm sure he doesn't care to comment now. Too elite for open discussion??? Reminds me of many other Bitcoin service providers in high positions.  It's no wonder we are seeing a down market trend. Trust is at an all time low. You backed the wrong horse, you got burned. Next time back the right horse. |

I suggest a different approach if you see him again: just point him and scream like in "Invasion of the Body Snatchers". If an high enough number of us will do it, it may be enough to persuade him to clear his mess now.  Any other ostracism suggestion? Is this how you date also? |
