4421  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: January 28, 2017, 12:55:42 PM
I think the lending investment in Poloniex are not effective, the result is very small, let alone lender also very much so the lowest rate that would be taken by borrower.
Yes Poloniex lending services are very good idea but you won't achieve much because someone constantly lending great amounts of coins for very small percentage of profit. I have tried to lend 1 btc and my earnings  were counted in 10000 of satoshies per turn. I mean this is ridiculous , forget POLO lendings if you don't have hundreds of BTCs.

Poloniex lending service is good for only those who wana the lended money. For those who actually wana invest there money for lending purpose, its useless as they will get so low profit there. A better option to lend and get nice profit is to offer your services in the lending section with valid collateral.
4422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: January 28, 2017, 11:44:53 AM
I really think, that bitcoin will be in 2037 a leading currency.
One bitcoin will cost 500.000 Dollar.

You can buy it and pay with it everywhere.
There will be some more currencys but bitcoin will be one leading currency that the whole world knew and accepted.

I agree with that bitcoins will be only currency after 20 years for now. but i do not consider bitcoin to be worth that much worth of dollars. I think by that time dollar will be vanished and it does not matter how much bitcoin is worth the dollar or vice versa. World will be changed by that time a lot.
4423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]CSH CASHOUT on: January 28, 2017, 04:36:34 AM
Swap now CSH NXt for Csh256

CSH having a bright future with the good update of dev,  i told you before that dev of CSH really work hard to give us good future. Get the new CSH now will run with pawncash after swap CSH NXT SWAP now or buy. Swap right now is 1NXT = 1CSH after 48hrs 50NXT = 1 CSH
Also instead of pow the remaining csh are gone be sold on the Cashout website with redistribution dividend

I am looking forward to get the new CSH now, as it will run with pawncash after swap CSH NXT SWAP now or buy.
Will you ask for the old csh to be delisted or will it continue as a separate market?

I have to admit my take on this starts with that crazy long addnode list csh wallet needs. Moving to a nxt token takes the bad coding out of the equation. CSH is gone be more successfull on NXT than ever.
4424  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Restaurants accepting bitcoin! on: January 28, 2017, 04:28:14 AM
This is a great news that there were restaurants who initiate to use bitcoin as the way of payment to eat and to be full. For sure many will go there and spend their hard earned bitcoin. I hope some restaurant do the same thing here in our country but their number is still less. It only take few restaurants to start this initiative and then everyone else will follow.

4425  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many Bitcoins are lost forever? on: January 28, 2017, 03:43:35 AM
I know it is a tricky question. What do you think, how many Bitcoins are lost forever and are 'out of the network' by lost private keys?
I guess its too big, large number of bitcoin now for sure but I think the only one that can know that is the developer or the bitcoin founders.
I agree, it is big amount of bitcoin lost forever and still counting on that, many bitcoin just burned and lost and just gone.
And for sure no one can say this on how many where lost unless the developers got their details on this but I guess they have this like those frozen account which not is used for almost a year.
4426  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: January 26, 2017, 03:55:45 PM
USD vs BTC is one must see value. All traders are tracking this kind of monetary value. Just like other currencies, we must know what will be the next value of it, or it will goes high or low. All traders are on their right track to know its value everyday.
The value of USD is still stable but what should monitored now is the value of bitcoins, it's volatile and can give us good income even in short term investment. If the US currency perform well, it could affect the price of bitcoin to also reflect the same, I like to see that USA will maintain it's good economy so the economy of all crypto currencies will also be progressive especially bitcoin.

As you said, the price of bitcoins is still stable. But cant you see the price of bitcoins moving towards new heights and that too in a very fast way. See the prices of US dollar and Bitcoins for the last six months and you will realize that bitcoins is the next big change.
4427  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: January 26, 2017, 03:45:07 PM
A long shot to make that happen. We might be seeing robots on the street first before that could happen. It is hard having just an online money now. There is too much people who cant have the same technology as we do have or they just dont want it. Changing this first is the hard task before we could all rely on money that will just be swiped.

robot and machine is diference bitcoin
if bitcoin want replace fiat money, the first about regulation
second physic must ready, because replace fiat money must have physic coin
and then knowladge, if replace i think not bitcoin, but is USA or super power country can create coin and replace bitcoin

I do not think we need regulation and physical money for bitcoins, in order to replace it with fiat. We do not want regulation (to avoid taxes) and physical money (to avoid hassle of carrying) as we are moving towards digitial era. Bitcoin in its current condition will surely replace fiat one day.
4428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Qtum] UTXO based POS Smart Contract Platform|On Coindesk & Bitcoinmagazine on: January 26, 2017, 03:33:32 PM
the website is working fine but the white paper is not yet finished, but it's not a problem, maybe they can release it later before the ICO, what important is the promotional actions done and currently running, it's great to see this project everywhere so the people will be aware of this project.

There is no need to rush the ICO, the team has already received $1 million investment fund, the whitepaper is very important for project like this, the area the team is threading into  still has some skepticism about it, so it will be great for the team to release a detailed technical whitepaper to the public like Satoshi did with Bitcoin.

Ofcourse the detailed white paper will really help the Qtum project even more. Seeing the $1 million dollar investment in this project till now make we wonder where will the investment to upto in this one. People need a trustable project to invest and this is the one to look forward to.
4429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: impact of bitcoin on your daily life/business? on: January 26, 2017, 03:20:02 PM
Bitcoin has a big impact in
my life, it help me a lot in
my daily needs.
Even to me, though I have my job in real world, bitcoin helps me a lot to save some of my expenses, it adds to my savings sometimes and cover my wants for most of the time, earning bitcoin to me is just my side-line work but then I am earning good cover some of my needs and wants maybe not that big but helps me anyways.
4430  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Bitcoin start to price increase? on: January 26, 2017, 03:13:24 PM
Bitcoin's value is constantly increasing. Why is the price of bitcoin increasing over time?
It is because of the continues and increasing user of bitcoin and those users where asking for bitcoin, investing, buying bitcoins which makes it in demand and so the bitcoin increases fast if it is the reason. Many users, in demand bitcoin so the value or price increases too.
4431  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Anywhere good to sell things for Bitcoin yet? on: January 26, 2017, 03:08:49 PM
If there are some online stores that will open, I guess it is good but hard to get the attention and trust by the buyer and even the seller. Currently bitcoin is in starting phase and needs time to be able to accepted all over the world shops.
4432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: January 25, 2017, 01:59:17 PM
Earning Money that can help us in many way. No hassle. You just only need your wallet and account. It is very easy to earn it and there are many things you can buy using it. And the best about bitcoin is whenever where you are you can sure that is it safe and reliable.

Earning money with just a wallet and account is not possible. Even with bitcoin earning you have to work hard and only then will be able to earn bitcoins. What i like best in Bitcoins is its easy available online for everyone and no hassle of paper work.
4433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: January 25, 2017, 01:53:14 PM
I don't think that any country have fully banned the usage of bitcoins as if we check the traders on localbitcoins then we would find traders from almost all countries who are engaged in buying and selling bitcoins no doubt the use of bitcoins is not as per the expectations but that doesn't mean that countries are against bitcoins.

Bitcoin are supported in all countries. Only few countries try to Ban it officially but as you said, they cant ban it completely due to the presence  of localbitcoins and then online buying / spending available for everyone.
4434  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why do so many people hate Coinbase? on: January 25, 2017, 01:44:27 PM
i dont know about peoples but i could not said anything about it because i have never use it but i think i prefer many online site which are way better......!!!!

For your information, Coinbase is online site and wallet. Coinbase is easy to use and very user friendly and best for daily transactions. But you should not place all your coins in Coinbase. As it is online wallet, they dont give you private keep. Only best for using it to make transaction as they do not deduct transactions fee.
4435  Other / MultiBit / Re: Help... why is my bitcoin transaction from blockchain taking over 24 hours? on: January 25, 2017, 01:34:21 PM
Hi,

With the tiny information you gave I can tell that:
* The network is very busy. The mempool (not yet processed transactions) is 37 MB instead of the usual / nice 2-8 MB.
* There's a high chance the tx fee you paid is small, much smaller than the currently recommended 100 satoshi / byte.

I recommend Electrum, where I know for sure that you can adjust the fee by hand before sending.

Edit: if you send the tx ID I can see how small your fee was. I look here to see how busy the network is and what fee I should use.
Edit2: another recommended wallet is the Bitcoin QT, where afaik you can have all the control you need (even re-send the transaction with higher fee), but I don't use that one.

Thanks for the tips, okey i realize the "fee" when doing a transaction is something i've always ignored, and it's not an option to set it in the bitcoin wallet i use, which makes me believe perhaps it wasn't a thing when i started using bitcoin 3 years ago? It appears the fee for this transaction was 0.0001 btc or 0.09$ i don't know if that's 100 satoshis or not but i guess i'm below the limit to get prioritized.

So from what i understand the transcation rates are slower these days because more transactions are occuring? That means more people are using bitcoin?

I'll look into moving my stuff into another bitcoin client for now, thanks

Transactions are still happening at a normal rate but many pools now prioritize which blocks to mine to maximize resources. At current rates each block carries along ~9000 btc in mining fees alone so the block reward itself is minuscule. That's why a higher mining fee usually equal to a faster transaction, I waited for 3 days on a payment once cause the other guy included tiny fees.

The payments are processed in blocks and if someone uses less transaction fee than normal, then its slows down confirmation process for everyone. I always put more transaction fee than normal to get it processed more quickly.  It has also something to do with Halving.
4436  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does bitcoin price speculation make sense on: January 25, 2017, 01:27:34 PM
I've seen a lot of threads on this forum, speculating about the price of bitcoin regularly. We make guesses but what are they based on? It might be a chart with previous fluctuations but we know that if something happened once it doesn't mean it will happen again. And yet I guess it is us, the btc users, who actually control the price by believing in it bieng worth something. What do you think?
Speculation does make sense, provided it is well funded. If there are some solid arguments behind to support the claim, it is interesting. Unfortunately, that is not the case for like 95% of the posts in the speculation section that are mainly driven by emotions.
Just my two cents.

Bitcoin price speculation is mostly done by brokers and traders and they want everyone to think with their mind set so that all people go in a certain direction and the big players get benefit.  Bitcoin price speculation is important for everyone to have some insight on the future on it.

Very nice explanation. I will like to add my example on this. For example if you are holding a lots of bitcoins and you want the price will go further up, you will speculate and say the price will go very high in next few days. Based on this speculation people tend to buy more and price automatically increased and then the spectacular can sell at a higher rate.
4437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest way to convert money into BTC? on: January 25, 2017, 01:20:43 PM
Website wallets are offering different options now so it is not much of a problem anymore. The real problem is the other way around. As of now I still have one option for converting bitcoin to fiat and I think there is a reason for this. They really want bitcoin to be more used than bringing it back to fiat.

Yes, most online wallets give you the option of transferring your fiat and converting them to bitcoins via credit card. There is no geographical limitation on this. but when you go other way around, bitcoin back to fiat, you have to find the local traders who will convert it in your local currency.
4438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin prevent crime? on: January 25, 2017, 01:11:26 PM
bitcoin is not batman who can solve crimes the purpose why bitcoin is created is not for that thats why we have police/investigator to look crimes for us , we use bitcoin for currency (even if they call it commodity) online maybe if you use bitcoin for paying some people who can be hired privately then bitcoin will just help you with that.

Yeah thats funny. Bitcoin is not a batman or superman to change the world. Its just a currency. Has anyone ever told that US dollar or EURO can prevent crime? Rather crime happens because of money and it will contiune to happen for bitcoin as well.
4439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For what was Bitcoin created? on: January 25, 2017, 01:07:51 PM
If we think about different currencies - Bitcoin is a real step forward. It is not supported by gold or something else. It depends a lot on whether people use it and believe in it.
For which purposes you think Nakamoto created Bitcoin? To earn a lot of money? Or just to create something new?
Maybe, he wanted to show the different nature of money and that it doesn't need government to exist, for example?
What are your thoughts on the topic?

I think Mr. Satoshi Nakamoto He made Bitcoin to create something new, earning a lot of money is just a secondary of his purpose. Maybe He saw that many people in the whole world suffering poverty because of financial problems. So Bitcoin is one the keys solution and that was happening already now.
to me i think he created the bitcoin only for the purpose of online shopping, but we are using it for investment and really making good money .
i think its not only for the online shopping mate. coz if he created it just for that reason, its not worth it. since there are lot of mode of payments that can be used for online shopping. like paypal perhaps. it is one of the well known or mostly used medium when you pay something online.

Bitcoin is not only created for online shopping, but it has to do something to change the world to the cashless society. This is the digital currency and this will change the whole world economy shift to digital currency.
4440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling get you into Bitcoin or did Bitcoin get you into gambling? on: January 23, 2017, 08:17:17 AM

For me, Online Gambling was impossible for me as i did not have credit card to chip in gambling. But Bitcoin made it easier for me to try gambling but still i am not so good at it. I prefer sports gambling but my perdition power is not so good which make me lose most of the time.  So for me its Bitcoin getting me in gambling.
