4421  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Livecoin scammers on: August 19, 2020, 05:38:39 AM
OP, Livecoin has some representative accounts on this forum -
klarki
LiveCoin

Try to PM them and explain your issue to them, they might be able to help. Although I am not sure if klarki is still associated with livecoin or not, the account seems to be taking part in other stuff. But it wont hurt to ask them once.

They also have a thread here but its last reply was back in December 2019 - LiveCoin.net >Buy/Sell/Exchange>New pairs:BVK/BTC,APOD/BTC,KTETH/BTC

Check with these accounts and see the reason why your withdraw was disabled, then you can post here about it so members can know whether this should kept as another scam accusation or not.
4422  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User Promoting Double Spend suspicious tool on: August 19, 2020, 05:31:16 AM
Did you report the post to moderators? Looks like malware and probably can be dealt with as such.
Thread has been deleted and thus the archive link is the only thing that is evidence for now. I am sure they will be back with another newbie account and a similar method to spread malware. Not just on this forum but several others as well.

After all this is what they do and sadly people fall for it and never learn because they are greedy enough to try to make money by unfair means and not work hard for it. Everyone knows that double spending is something shady but who cares if someone tells them that it is possible to abuse that make money - just download that .rar and boom!  Roll Eyes
4423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Brave Rewards on: August 19, 2020, 05:25:49 AM
I just saw now some news related to that. Brave is autofilling referal links for some exchanges.
So we can see that browsers like Brave are not trustworthy at all. You can use them if you wish but you are risking your personal data and to that extent that even your login credentials can be stolen.

From what @examplens says, his browser was compromised. Now I dont know if that occurred due to a fault from the user-side or the browser-side by myself.

While I still remember the days when Brave was first introduced as a privacy focused browser that "does not store your data" - they managed to sell themselves to millions of users and then started showing their true colors. Unfortunately they managed to get a large followership from other browsers that are still usable, essentially making a fool of them along with this BAT shitcoin prizes.
4424  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Alert] changex.pw is a scam exchange on: August 18, 2020, 10:21:31 AM
LOL these newbie accounts trying to post fake vouches is funny to see but unfortunately it works to fool any investor to attempt to spend money there and get scammed.

I would like to see some respected users give vouches, of course that will not happen. This is why users who need to exchange should stick to older, reputable known exchanges who have good feedback from other trusted people.

Those xyz, biz domain names also raise suspicion. But those in need of some quick exchanges will fall for it.
4425  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DayTrader27 is a scammer on: August 18, 2020, 10:15:41 AM
Yes really it is not big amount for me. Just for testing only i have done small trade. Whether he is genuine or scammer.
I dont think you are getting the point. 50$ might seem small to you, by rest assured it is not small to every other user in the world. Heck in 3rd world countries 50$ is worth of one good meal and thus you should never demean any denomination of money as to big or small and reason yourself for that.

There is not need to "test" someone. Do you test whether a hole belongs to a rabbit for a snake by putting your hand inside and trying to reach for it? Or do you call someone who is certified with animals and use their help to check the hole? I could give even more dirty examples but lets now talk about that. Cheesy

I might seem to be joking but this is a serious thing. The marketplace section of this forum is filled with scammers ready to pounce on users like you and scam them. They have no morals and so you have to be careful.
4426  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitvest.io scam with proof on: August 17, 2020, 02:17:19 PM
It was bumped by an account that got caught running a DeFi scam and called out by two BitVest sig campaigners. This was their "revenge", apparently.
Oh I see now, Goting was the one trying to bump the thread. Did not notice the thread creation date. My bad.
4427  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DayTrader27 is a scammer on: August 17, 2020, 10:55:36 AM
Now I dont understand how you all end up doing a trade with the person having a red trust rating. Do you all just jump into buying stuff for dealers without checking from others whether they are legit or not? This is the internet my fellow bitcoin users, not some clean market where everything is regulated by the police.

The trust system exists for this reason only. Added is the reason why we have escrows who are willing to be a middleman for these trades and the advice that you should never send first to someone that you do no trust.

If you just trust every random username on the internet you will get scammed. Get that into your head right away. Undecided

This forum does not moderate scams. You have to use your judgement. Nobody will spoon feed you. What will be done is that the user will get some more red trust ratings. But the scammer will just open a new account and a new bitcoin address and continue the same. Roll Eyes
4428  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitvest.io scam with proof on: August 17, 2020, 10:46:23 AM
These images were uploaded on imgur on February 03, 2018 - that is like 2 years ago. Roll Eyes

All the images are of wagered amounts, total bets and losses. How does this count as proof of any sort at to the site being scam?

If you are looking for bugs inside the provably fair system, show that. Not some random pics from who knows whose account statistics for making a thread trying to smear a completely legitimately running casino for several years now.

There should be a punishment for users coming here and posting accusations with no proof.

Bottomline: Suck up your gambling losses and move on. No one forced you to play and lose your savings. Roll Eyes
4429  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BITTREX want to steal my funds ?? on: August 17, 2020, 10:41:31 AM
Obviously the OP needs to post proofs otherwise this is not a scam accusation but a discussion of service.

Without screenshots of support emails and more proof there is nothing to conclude. However Bittrex is a legit operation and it is the OP's misunderstanding that they want to "steal" their funds. Of course not, the OP is probably doing something illegal and blaming the exchange for the matter. We have so many users using Bittrex everyday so how come?

It is also possible that the OP's KYC got into problem but my first assumption would be that tainted sources of money were sent to their account.

Waiting for OP to post support screenshots.
4430  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Antodex- yet another DeFi with plagiarized Whitepaper! on: August 16, 2020, 09:18:39 AM
So we are going to see the same pattern of ICO boom with this DeFi era too? Let's assume BTC at new ATH and this time DeFi will take place of the ICO that had back in the days (2016-2018).
Defi IS going to become or has already become the next bubble after the ICO/STO/IEO craze. They could not come up with another Initial blah blah blah offering so changed it into a new thing but essentially the same scam "remastered" version. Roll Eyes

Point is that it is enough to fool some people and yet more who will promote them being brainwashed shills of the project to rope in more of their friends to get scammed as well. Maybe DeFi was good for the first few projects that it was intended to be like BitRefill which is an age old legit service available in several locations to use but not every project is going to be a new DeFi project and successful at the same time.

Same telegram spam with "this project should be the next DeFi" messages have become prevalent now as well as a breed which I am calling "DeFiBois".  Grin
4431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Trading Digibyte for BTC, ETH on: August 16, 2020, 06:42:57 AM
What happened moonbois? Grin

All the SupposcumShitcoins when down so much that you could no longer attempt to hold them any more? Keep drinking that SuppoKoolaid and make sure to follow all their "Advice".

Good luck trying to sell those lesser-than-poop coins. Nobody wants them anymore.

Bottomline: On a serious note, accept the fact that these shitcoins were always meant to be shitcoins. So stop looking for more or listening to that shill on youtube and start buying bitcoin when you get money at hand.
4432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Brave Rewards on: August 16, 2020, 06:39:59 AM
As far as I have seen some bounty hunters and dust collectors are willing to give away all their KYC details to every company in the world for a few worthless shitcoins. The developers of this browser know this and even if they say that they dont store the data of users while they browse,, eventually they came up with this coin reward system that asks for your KYC. Can you even keep any little of trust in them anymore? Nope.

It shows how twisted their words are and that you cant really stop their data collection methods by just moving on from Chrome or Firefox to Brave and think, oh yeah all my data safe now.

No. You just changed the person whom you are giving your data to.

However one must remember that identity theft carries a huge risk and giving your KYC thus carries a risk. Would you be willing to do that or be happy with what you already have and consider investing more in bitcoin than shitcoins?
4433  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for Community Manager, and Ann Thread on: August 16, 2020, 06:33:40 AM
You have already created a thread here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5267489.msg54957763#msg54957763

Why are you creating more threads for the same? Everything you need, you will be able to get from posting in "Services" itself. This section is more about discussing about projects and their development. Like it you needed help to develop your bounty campaign then you should post here.

Make sure to lock this thread and prevent duplicate threads.
4434  Economy / Reputation / Re: Exposing Amazix on: August 15, 2020, 05:05:26 AM
I never know amazix was scandalous. i felt they were trusted and worthy of their job.
This is older thread that was derailed by some sockpuppet accounts while Lauda was ready to tag Amazix representatives.

I have not been keeping track of them but I think they have disbanded currently?

Codex was back in 2018 and I am sorry to hear that you lost money from investing in it. The point is that ICOs were a bubble at that time and many people who were involved in it lost not just their money but their reputation because they helped organize and promote them. Amazix and ICOBench were among them to name a few.

My suggestion would be to write it off as a loss and move on. Undecided
4435  Other / Meta / Re: Logged out automatically on: August 15, 2020, 03:57:50 AM
My assumption is that the problem might be with some private browsers on phones or so, since we often tend to close apps and then restart them when we need to. I have tried using the site on phone specially when traveling and dont access to my PC or Laptop but then again it is a pain in the rear to type anything substantial on phones.

I mean if you try to quote specific parts of a post you will see the problem very clearly. Not sure if you all have used some special app to help you with that but I prefer to use the bigger devices to make my posts.

Hence the reason I cannot correctly recall if the same problem happened to me, but a vague memory says that a similar thing might have happened.
4436  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: August 15, 2020, 03:51:15 AM
since their annual interest is way more higher than the most of the banks
Interest rate is around 5-6% PA in many countries. Freebitco.in is not upto that much but close to it. So surely it is a good place to keep some coins that you currently dont want to spend or less likely to spend and allow it to grow at 4.08%PA.

Just dont get tempted to play with that because you will eventually lose it anyway because that is the only way to stop a gambler from playing for some time Cheesy

Lambo dreams are good but lets be realistic here, very few users are going to actually win something in the gambling games and the golden ticket.
4437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: about Airdrop in Telegram on: August 14, 2020, 10:35:17 AM
Telegram and the airdrop channels. LMAO those are spammers paradises and breeding grounds for scammers.

More or less those coins are worthless not even worthy of being called a "coin". Those who think they can get rich collecting them will understand on their own if they have that much intellect that none of them are getting listed anywhere and even if they do get listed there will be no buyers to buy their bagholdings. Tongue

Better to shift focus on buying bitcoin if you have cash at hand or wait for the same.
4438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TxStreet.com - live cryptocurrency transaction visualizer. on: August 14, 2020, 10:33:24 AM
Oh this can be a nice visual interpretation of how we can explain the concept of network fees and transaction priority to a layman. Whoever worked this out needs to be sent some cookies in appreciation of their work. Cheesy

To be honest, I have never of heard of it till today. I still use the bitcoinfees google search to locate the best site for current mempool congestion and the Ethgasstation for Ether fees. But I think I will suggest this to some other users too.
4439  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I am looking for a partner or team of 3 to launch my crypto gambling platform on: August 14, 2020, 10:29:36 AM
What is wrong with you OP?

You posted a similar thread yesterday here - I am a Fullstack JS developer Want a project to develope

You expect people to believe that you are a fullstack JS developer looking for work and launching a gambling platform at the same time? I would call a fraud at first sight. Seen enough of such BS in this forum.

Stop spamming the forum with your childish gibberish. Roll Eyes
4440  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which is a good option?? Trade or Hodl on: August 14, 2020, 10:26:45 AM
If you are going for options and futures there is that debate of whether it is more of a gamble than spot trading. I consider it to be a gamble and thus the risk is higher than spot trading. If that is fine with the trader then they are good to go. It all boils down to a personal choice of whether they like to wait out the market to get the proper price to buy or sell and make a profit from that or "bet" on the futures market.

While the market is stagnant some people tend to move between these two methods of making money.

People love taking the risk. Whether it be in the speculative markets or just plain gambling. Specially when the spot markets are not worthy of putting money in or beyond your reach to buy the asset itself.
