4441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the price of bitcoin is falling on: May 22, 2021, 02:17:02 PM
Theres always a thousand reasons given why but I think the figures and regular pattern behind are more important, people will supply any manner of reasons of why they must sell but really its down to belief whether they will profit or lose from the trade.   The long term holders committed at any price are quite few, I'll include myself to a large extent because Im just not that rich but at this point I would not sell because its quite obvious heavy with pressure to sell and reactive speculative cash out; always sell into rising markets if you intend or require the cash back out in weeks or months.

This week I have managed to collect over 20k lottery tickets.

I got 20k lottery tickets just from the wheel win payouts, an ok chance but the reason why 100 tickets shows up as a win is that its very common to hold this amount so each small chance but as a group there is tons of these people so it pops up unexpectedly often.

'Lovely' downtrend in play for BTC keeps things active, will the stream of FUD news keep up this whole month I wonder or would selling be happening anyhow.  I reckon it was due a pullback normally anyhow just got a little push via various factors, if we were still at a stage where 50btc appears every ten minutes I guess it'd be much weaker then this still so I consider a snapback move upwards likely to occur also just not sure when.  Prices are elastic as well as other considerations but 2 day average as ceiling I presume downwards.
4443  Economy / Speculation / Re: What goes up must come down on: May 21, 2021, 03:08:20 PM
2018 had a rising dollar after a decline for most of 2017, it reversed the bias where as now I've just seen DXY try and fail to start a recovery in its previous losses.   Its not a great supply we have a massive gap and weakness from monetary expansion, its quite deliberate and Bitcoin is not likely to especially devalue in the face of that.
Alot of bad news and profit taking, I still count it as quite normal and its also normal that people are impatient and expect an immediate return to the highs which will take time for sure maybe the whole year I dont know.

I'm watching lows here to see if we consolidate or break into a lower range especially.   Below 200 day average could be considered negative easily however the direction of the 200 DMA is rising which gives some clue to future positives and I would not count against that even if near-term is continued speculative profit taking and weakness.
4444  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fucking rich whoever bought bitcoin around $30,000 -$31,000 on: May 20, 2021, 03:17:59 PM
Lots of stop loss around the 200 day possibly, some of which are unable to hold whatever is desired.   30 to 20k was a buy area but I barely got a chance, its always like that just blips down when you look away.   I didnt think the recovery was that bullish, lacking volume but its continued up so far.   Maybe we need to revise downwards again at some point to improve that situation but for now its above 2 day average, it has some measure of momentum on its side while keeping this.
4445  Economy / Speculation / Re: A moment of silence please. on: May 19, 2021, 05:18:51 PM
I already decided against the sell at higher prices, it was only ever the average price over time that really counts in that context outside of quick trades.   So 200 day average is still rising, long term I dont think its especially altered except to lose the froth which is alarming to some but I did think we returned to averages so here we are.

Staying above the 200 day average would be surprisingly bullish because the volume seems to suggest lower, but seems feasible we now surprise to the upside.   I do think it'll wander back and forth anyhow.

4446  Economy / Speculation / Re: FUDS are big Confirmations that were in a Bull Market!!!!!! on: May 19, 2021, 05:04:23 PM
Detail I read is they just discourage business and isnt BTC about the people anyway.    Its not the worst news, its super predictable China will just try force their own version of invented tokens that are controlled with an iron fist or some junk.    Perhaps not as bad Venezuela attempts but wouldn't surprise me much, I always had some hope Venezuela might accidentally ignite some positive but they never left the door open for that really from what I could gather.

Price above 200 day average would appear to be a pin candle like a flush out that failed, looks alot better that way.   The way volume appeared to be far greater leading down then up doesnt make me think it simply goes up but anything can happen, I reckon it requires more work to confirm prices around here.

Anyone placing some bets already?

There is a time bonus so I already put some on 200 day average, it doesnt move much but has quite alot of gravity to it such that things occur like today in a surprise but also a repeat.    End of month bets, this isnt ideal because its moving too soon for my ideal scenario to play out but thats why its so difficult.      Right this moment I can say the dealing is stacked to the sell side, its going to loop and repeat until its evened out and less lumpy and that can easily take weeks.  I'd estimate it wont recover just yet, about 38k is 12hr average and I dont think it breaks that easily today which suggests we challenge lower prices to establish a bottom price.   (I'll tip 15k as doomsday bet).   Normal range now is the 50 week average as an outlier and lowest prices today match Jan lows which is a good place for it start to build some confidence.
It just gained about 30% from lows, volume says hands spaghetti  Tongue🍝  if it stays above 200 day average thats rapidly better looking as this measure is rising every day but only got 4 days left to decide this :/
4448  Economy / Speculation / Re: Abolute bottom of Bitcoin? on: May 19, 2021, 03:52:52 PM
Its reasonable to say its hit various measures to indicate a harsh fall, that alone can cause people to close shorts and so on.    So 50 week average is (27.8k)  here and also a rough trend marking the most aggressive stance from the stop.

This is only a rough sketch but I take it as reasonable anyway, weekly bars we broke the range held for months and then kept on rolling downhill.   We had a ton of speculators in the price whatever people might have thought about strong hands, people like profit and sell when its endangered quite a simple concept.    Since we got to close the 50 week average thats a good place to start to measure any strength or reaction, also watch 2 day average for a cease and desist to the offers.   Till its beaten 2 day average I dont think its begun any rise properly, its got to stabilize and probably this takes some time to do so.
30k to 20k is an area I will consider fair buy is some old note I'll stick to, I actually hope I get the chance to do that.
4449  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has broken the $40k barrier, next test is $31k, then on to $10k on: May 19, 2021, 09:22:43 AM

Nice chart but now I got to ask what moving average is that in red because its a great place to keep track of looks like.   Every sell off seems to terminate in that region and return some hefty returns multiple times, that'd be a nice trade Smiley
4450  Economy / Speculation / Re: More individuals like Elon musk, the price might fall further. on: May 19, 2021, 07:18:48 AM
I'll repeat what I thought in April when we did have a sell but it recovered, which is that 200 day average is possible and will likely always occur sooner or later.  Thats where we are, though I've lost the train of thought my conclusion also was 30k is about the bottom of my estimates for negative move to mirror the frothy highs and anywhere in 30 to 20k area was a blind buy.   I dont know if anyone can be more negative then me but I keep an estimate I set on a sunny day for when its raining.
I dont rate this price action as 'new' it was a feasible scenario, we are revising prices compacting and losing weak holders especially those with leverage and now the biggest moving average is here.   Prices dont move in straight lines so I consider further selling with caution, it can rise because some of the lower prices is from short selling type action or leverage trades that will close and result in action resulting in demand.

This is just the 1hr bars for a 2 day average and seems a good guide to measure, its been a ceiling capping any buying.   All averages converge with price eventually and this is a pretty fast one to challenge, I'll watch it for a good measure of how we progress.   Obviously there is always news, always other factors but the truest action is on charts imo
4451  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 19, 2021, 06:46:57 AM
BTC price is up YTD, congrats people.   Perspectives may vary all are valid Smiley       We are at the 200 day average also back to the initial price action and first pullback area of 2021, so this should be a place of significance.

Did I ever pick a great time to set up a $30/day recurring buy or what?

I think it is a good area, off the boil less froth in the price.
4452  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: May 19, 2021, 05:59:56 AM
I bet loads on the election and also golden tickets are counting to increase the faucet too but its actually the regular betting that counts I think.     So I must have an older account, its very much how often and size of which you use the site as a customer that relates to getting the bigger amounts of the faucet too.  There must be people who get hundreds every time they click the roll but also they bet alot so maths wise the site manages all these amounts just like the BTC price going up also means a lower faucet collect because its not infinite it has to be that way.
Anyway we did pull back and we are arrived at the 200 day average which was always a possible, write it down as like the name this is just the most known average for BTC price to arrive at regularly (in full perspective).  Small positive the faucet and wheel wins do go up in times like this I'm going to go use them Smiley

Device with Nip vs Anonymo Smiley   he was a large section of astralis firepower for sure.   In the comments they make a vital point that the fault was not on the Nip side but via the host server themselves.   I dont know if thats true but if provable it explains why in this case they get the rematch where lewis is also correct nobody would really care if the smaller team had a problem.

Definitely relevant to discuss freak outcomes, people used to force such things hopefully not so much anymore.   Stunna at present a desk host once played in a C9 game for such reasons, he is admin/manager and was one of the lower MG ranks.  Suffice to say they didnt win that one because of outside interference.

By rights Bears should take this game now, they done well including winning with pistols vs rifles.  Good underdog game, like that team though Im completely wrong in thinking Godsent are ranked higher (odds were with them anyhow) and both teams formed in Jan apparently.   Rating Jonji vital here, awp is often pivotal to team strat
4454  Economy / Speculation / It would be a desert if it was only ever sunny days on: May 18, 2021, 11:57:13 PM
I still rate this as a normal adjustment in BTC and its not out of the ordinary to occur, it might not be a sunny day but thats to be expected after such rises.  It can recover to higher prices, it will take time to do so.

We are bearish while closing below the Feb lows like this, on the daily right now and also see the end of this week for further reference.

We haven't reached the 200 day average (41k area is closing Jan price) and to do so is just an expected event, when it happens wasnt known but sooner rather then later appears correct for now.   It would be a desert if it was only ever sunny days :p   Avoid being one sided or short term in outlook, lower prices can encourage some to enter the space who would not otherwise during non stop higher price tag increases.

Im going to throw down a larger chart, because people dont like me chopping off dates but also its a larger move so Im surely allowed in proportion; this is the correct perspective Cool
4455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: May 18, 2021, 10:36:01 PM
I failed in my bet but RBG did a good job of coming close, especially on Dust2 I was surprised because before map start I'd expect Team1 to get that because its an aim map less strat.

Bears to win tonight match could be a good bet I reckon and odds were against them vs Godsent.   I dont think Team1 can beat O PLANO but  plano are new and ranks of the two are similar, small bet 3 maps I guess
4456  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will grow in the next six months on: May 18, 2021, 01:16:23 AM
Elon doesn't matter despite the large size of buys, its about the circulation not one buyer and their reasons in favor or not.  The market is greater then all of us and can flatten even large individual players.  But a natural EMP strike from solar flare activity might do it otherwise the weight is with BTC continuing to adjust upwards as Dollar becomes increasingly diluted by political overspending amidst a widening trade deficit with the rest of the world.

4457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: May 17, 2021, 11:05:02 PM
Team one vs RBG Esprorts im think Team One will win.

Most probable but the odds are 3 to 1 against RBG and for both these teams they lost 2-0 to Bad news Bears.   Team one did get a more consistent frag vs bears but RBG actually got more rounds which is what counts for more in the end [eg. 16-12 vs liquid aint bad at all).   I dont know either team well but I will go with a 3 map outcome setup for this match as I think its possible either can win despite the fairly large swing againt RBG
Didnt Train just get removed from main maps, RBG's worst map so should help their case.  If they lose Nuke the dream is over :p apparently its both teams best map
4458  Economy / Speculation / Re: Futures open interest might hint at market top... on: May 17, 2021, 09:35:40 PM
Sounds like a good theory to me, market will tend to over react like a car braking too hard with worn shocks it will easily cause an over reaction and we run over the top of what would normally curb prices in volume resistance and support.  This effect scares market participants even outside this futures market into ordinary users and holders and we develop a trend that requires greater limits to arrest the fall.   200 day average might be such an area of very large acknowledged trend, the MA is still rising and this remains a positive market still on wider time frames.  35k would seem to be an overreaction in this month anyway, it can happen but also I expect us to control this selling and return upwards sooner rather then later; a short seller is a future buyer.
Closing daily bar end of Feb is 45.3k and Im watching that as quite critical as we have broken a range true for some months, regaining that would mean alot.
4459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: May 17, 2021, 09:17:02 PM
They have to find and prosecute such instances, often the sport itself is best self governed but to have a law is fairly important so there is some bite to such investigations and in order to pass the case onto police and lawyers to prosecute with.     Unfortunately its a very tempting prospect especially at the ground level of the game where many players may never progress as far and as easily as taking money to make a bet come true.
That said courts dont have the unique expertise that players themselves do, the greatest deterrent is knowing your own group of players know exactly what you are doing and can take action against you for anything decidable even outside a law court; a law court will require proof beyond reasonable doubt where as a trade body or player union can decide a verdict by majority and is far quicker to punish easily I think.
Its the sports own best interests to self govern and ensure corruption does not take root and reduce investment by lack of integrity and belief in game results, without this much damage can occur and foreign leagues will take priority over a country's self grown talent.

I'd be on a mission clearly, alarm clock set to claim the full 24 times a day Cheesy   mission impossible but surely thats the main requirement in such a challenge.   Just have it left open on a mobile, its not that big an ask exactly, I could top 12 times anyhow so its worth it.
