4441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My experience as a newbies in ICO/IEO on: October 06, 2020, 11:10:22 PM
My journey and experience in the cryptocurrency space started early 2016 when I first hard about bitcoin and some time late 2016 I decided to give it a try, as an early adaptor I invested some couple of dollars in bitcoin.
You are active since 2016 and I am sure that you are no longer a newbie here. I am also one of the ones that followed the hype of the crypto world in 2017. Where there are so many successful ICO at that time before dumping al the time until now.  Grin Grin

Btw, ICO is now no longer trusted and people will leave it. IEO is still ongoing and probably will be left soon.
'Now, Defi is kind of Hype and many people and newcomers are here for Defi. They may have gained very high profits at that time. but, as the hype in 2017, we do not know the exact time of this hype will end, or it will be different from previous hype. let's see the flow.

But, I do agree with you that never getting in the hype too much. Choosing coins in the market is also important to consider whether the coins are in hype or not. I personally have learned from the previous hype and not a concern about the hype coins again right now.
4442  Economy / Economics / Re: People lose Faith and Hope for banking and tradional markets on: October 06, 2020, 10:59:52 PM
People lose hope and faith tradional markets like stock markets banking and Even Gold.
Yes, it is true, there is no denying that many people have lost hope and are also annoyed with the banking system in their country. However, what we can do is not much. The fact is, even though we have tried to circumvent the banking system, we still cannot completely.

especially for some people in certain countries, banks, and traditional markets play a very important role in life. And they cannot be replaced by anything so far. There are still many people who are not aware of the crypto world and they are still doing what they are used to. And regulations in each country are different where sometimes we cannot freely enter the world of crypto. Crypto is sometimes legal as a digital asset but not a means of payment. And the worst thing when dealing with banks is related to bank loans, it's killing people. But the problem is, most people still can't get away from it.

As for the gold itself, many of them still believe in investing in gold and will continue to do so. And this is normal.
But here is the challenging side that we have to face how we fight the flow slowly, not completely. However, we can try to at least further reduce the link with the bank.
4443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if "De-Fi" platforms become regulated in the future? on: October 06, 2020, 10:43:02 PM
The principle of DeFi is that it is unregulated, and this is what is of interest to most of the people involved in the crypto world. However, it does not rule out that DeFi will one day be regulated because of certain interests. And of course, this may violate the basic principles of DeFi.

well, the problem is I just read an interesting article on this subject.
Quote
"DeFi might soon have some regulatory issues," Fijolek told Cointelegraph in an interview. "The amount of funds that are flowing through DeFi is growing significantly."

But the next question is, who will provide the regulations? Will every country be concerned about this DeFi? because of course, DeFi will also affect various financial policies and financial systems of a country. especially if the project is successful in the country and the government does not like this.

Nobody can guarantee that DeFi will last longer in the crypto world before going to be replaced with other projects that are more interesting again. And we can't also trust too much on certain DeFi projects in a country.

4444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question: Is there any websites where I can gamble crypto under 18? on: October 06, 2020, 10:30:16 PM
Actually, most of the gambling casinos will require you are 18+. It is regarding the age restriction globally and not to against the restriction if the site will last longer.
Btw, where do you live? Your country must have its own restriction ab0ut the age minimally to gamble, right? If it is allowed under 18, do you find the site there?

probably, the site that allows under 18 will be the one without any KYC and probably it is also the illegal one. But of course, it will require some risks.

4445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's IP address found on: October 06, 2020, 05:47:05 PM
Is that true? If it is true, what will be done with that? Will anybody be curiosua and search for this?
Can't we just get on with the who, where, and how of Satoshi?
Yes, maybe a lot of people are very curious. But will this end well? In this case, we know that Satoshi's whereabouts have always been kept secret for some reason.
But it can't be helped, sometimes it is interesting for some people to continue exploring about him or them.
4446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking System a Scam...!!! on: October 06, 2020, 04:50:03 PM
Actually, I do not know about Godfrey Bloom until I browsed in and found some information about him. ''Well, the bank system is a scam, well, great words. but I think I'm also on this side, hate the bank system, but can't do many things to avoid. we can see how they take our money, make it difficult to withdraw, so complicated. they own our money and they make it as loan for other users. Well, this is sad and they take high interest so that people will be always suffering every time linking to the bank.
4447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: everything can happen on bitvest on: October 05, 2020, 11:05:25 PM
First, I am really confused about what OP refers to. But yeah, it may be clear when reading the replies by members here.  Grin Grin
So you have bet several times and you got that amount of LTC only with a small bet? Really congratulation.
From the lists of your betting, your big win didn't come to you as easy, but you did it by process and you have bet several times. So, this is lucky for you to get that.
However, the next question is what you will do, betting again or saving your balance. It is quite important in order to manage our funds as well. Well, this is not my realm, but you have to make your fund management even you have won a great amount there.
4448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Growth of Bitcion on: October 05, 2020, 10:54:59 PM
Bitcoin as we know is one of the most powerful names in the world market today, but in my short period in the community I came with my own ideas on enhancing the growth of bitcion
Well yeah, this is the most powerful, trusted, abd valuable coin in the crypto world. This is my opinion.

Most people would see an open opportunity to gain in Cyrpto and walk pass by without second thoughts ,why?
This thing probably can be one of the reasons why many people come to the crypto world and invest it in. However, unfortunately, not all people come here because they have learned and done good research. they came because of hype, because of the expectation that they can be rich because of crypto, especially BTC without understanding about risks. Yeah, the problem is here, many people are only interested in and concern about the profits and what they can gain, but they do not concern about the risks, without considering the risks. So, when they are lost, they will immediately blame crypto.

Cyrpto it self are not widely acceptable in generally only some coins are well know to the world ,but what if we also get listed on trading sites like forex trading and others it would also go a long way in enhancing bitcoin and cyrpto in general too.
Basically, crypto is already growing well, and let it stay in the crypto market, not in any other market. It's just that it would be better if the use of crypto could be expanded as a means of payment at various merchants and companies. And nowadays the development of exchanges in the world is getting better, although in some countries it is still very limited.

-snip-
This is interesting, but it will be difficult in some countries. The material related to crypto will depend on the readiness of each country.
Like in my country, this is also difficult to apply in the world of education, especially primary to secondary education. Maybe just for introduction only and not specifically.
For higher education, this can be one of the courses in a particular study program.
4449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Godfrey Bloom makes his first BTC purchase on: October 05, 2020, 10:42:19 PM
Simply, if he is one of the influencers and he has many followers, it may give influences that they may be interested in cryptocurrency. but vice versa, it may also influence nothing to the followers. In this case, every popular person that bought crypto may be able to be one of the ways to increase or improve the existence of crypto itself. But of course, newcomers must not only involved in crypto because of the popular person. It needs its own research on it in order not to blame somebody if they get loses in crypto.
And here, I appreciate what he did, moreover, he is no longer young, but he concerns in this such crypto. Well, yeah, but it is probably he is an anti-bank person.
4450  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk trust system has been destroyed by scammers on: October 05, 2020, 07:48:05 PM
Bitcointalk trust system has been destroyed  by scammers
Can you tell me, what inside of your mind about the definition of "scammer" here?
It is so funny when you determine "scammer" here, by pointing at certain sections.

But, well from this case, it is sure that you probably have faced a bad reputation or experience with your another/other account(s) here.

Simple to understand:
You won't get negative trust if you don't break the rules that lead you to get it.
You will get positive trust if you deserve it.

You will see how they leave you negative trust without even trading ... guess the reason ...
You should be able to see, read, and understand why they give negative trust.
Don't just see without understanding

-snip-
Btw, every time @smartcontracts100 starts a topic about this, you will be also on the list of replies and gives very extreme support to OP. And then, OP is not coming back again.
Well, this is probably only my feeling.
Don't mind of it
4451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: just made a mimnecraft server that is bitcoin casino on: October 05, 2020, 07:23:04 PM
mcgam.com
It is unable to visit, better to check the webiste first before posting here or you can add some information about the website. or, is it just a scam? Hopefully not, only limited information about it Grin Grin
Or, it is only available in certain IP?

Or do you mean this one?
https://minecraft-server-list.com/server/468024/

Or this one?
https://www.planetminecraft.com/server/mcgam/

How can we get there if there is no information about this exactly? it is better for OP to provide more about Mcgame in this thread because probably there will be many more people interested in minecraft.
4452  Economy / Economics / Re: "Humans will not be replaced by robots very soon" --- yeah right !!! on: October 05, 2020, 07:01:45 PM
As I quoted this below:
Quote
Robots will transform, not replace, human work

Currently, several developed countries have started to develop super genius robot technology. AI robot technology is even considered to be able to replace various human work activities more perfectly because it has been regulated by sophisticated systems, especially AI robots.

Can you imagine if they could really do all that humans do? What if more and more industries prefer robots to humans?

Well, very worrying, right?
However, this certainly will not happen easily. Even only in the film can it apply that AI robots can even turn against humans and act to replace humans by conquering them and dominating them.

What is clear, the robot is a technology, the result of human creation itself. Can you imagine how sophisticated and genius humans are? Without humans, robots would not be created. how can they replace humans?

Therefore, robots were created not to replace humans but to transform them into better, faster, structured, and optimal human performance.

4453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to invest in Binance on: October 04, 2020, 11:59:20 PM
It is a good way for you to invest that amount monthly and it can be saved. But, why don't you choose BTC or ETH?
I know that you may have your own choice, but investing in the trusted and top coins may be better. Just do more research before investing because it is very important to be done.
TRX is good, it can be one of the options. I will prefer BTC and ETH only, and for some other altcoins, I will prefer OGN, DIA, and also CTSI maybe.
But, it is good to diversify your funds into several coins. And it needs to monitor its progress and movement on the market.
4454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest Gambling Losers on: October 04, 2020, 11:50:32 PM
--snip--
I can't imagine if I was them, and probably I will never be them because never betting in high amount.
Here, I also wonder how they are thinking and doing after the loss? I know this is not my right to ask this.
It may be a nightmare or event a big shock for them. But it may mean nothing if they have won several times more than the amount.
4455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling License on: October 04, 2020, 11:31:10 PM
Choosing the licensed casino may be the choice for everybody going in the online or event offline casinos. It is for the shake of security of their funds and involvement probably.
however, if it is a big casino, many people may not think about the license, legal or not, the important thing is that they can play, win, and also withdraw their money. that is enough.

But, if we are really looking for the right and trusted casino, we need to analyze whether they are licensed or not. And some members have answered how to know they are licensed or not.

2. Is it enough that they offer provably fair games?
fair or not? Is it important? for the winners often, they will say it is fair, but for the losers more, they will say "not fair, really".
Whatever the condition, the house may have set a certain conditions where the players can win at a certain time and it must be a certain setting. Fair or not will depend on each casino because they may also have something to do in order to not to lose much money from their gamblers.

3. If it's an "old" casino, you can check their reputation and reviews from players but what if it's new?
Quite difficult. but if it is an online casino and it is advertised here, I will try it with small betting. And when it is legit enough, it may continue.
4456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone accidentally sent or received BTC to and from another address? on: October 04, 2020, 11:23:38 PM
I'm curious but has anyone here accidentally received btc or bch or any other coin from another address that you know was by accident?  Thus it was not direct and wasn't an airdrop or anything like that?
Never did it, both sending or receiving the BTC from or to the wrong wallet address. The carefulness is the key when we are sending the BTC or other crypto to the other wallet. Should pay attention more to the wallet address and also Memo or Tag for some coin. Well, it may happen in several cases to send the coin to the wrong address. But, if we check it triple times, we may not need to do that mistake, aside from the hurry condition, I think we must carefully and repeatedly checking the address.

But, if we received BTC or coins from other wallets, who know, it may happen because of the wrong action of the sender by copying and pasting the wrong address or event typing the wrong letters.

The chance of sending BTC to BCH or BSV is very low. How could this happen?
Maybe it happens when someone doesn't know the difference between BTC and BCH. or probably they think that the wallet is the same. Or, probably they are in a hurry   Grin Grin
4457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: P2P Bitcoin Volume Hitting All-Time Highs on: October 04, 2020, 11:16:16 PM
We can see that the Bitcoin trading volume has increased so highly in several countries, as seen on the chart.
However, in several other countries, the ATH happened in 2018 and some are this year (on July and August) as seen here.
Well, it means that the popularity of P2P trading Bitcoin depends on each country. We can say that there is an increase and decrease of P2P Bitcoin trading during this time.

Well, let's see the chart below.

Globally, the increase happens during July 2020 to August 2020 and has been dropped in September. It happened due to the plummets amid the crypto crash. Moreover in several countries, the decrease dropped by almost 50%.
Some regions also faced a decline of more than 30% on the P2P.

But, aside from the decline that happened in most regions in September, we can say that the people in the world have been ready with the Bitcoin, by both P2P and also common exchanges. The world has been ready for the adoption, we can wait for how it will be developing after this pandemic.

4458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: you're making bitcoin complicated on: October 01, 2020, 09:56:06 PM
You may think that telling newbies about Bitcoin and this forum should be in a friendly-easy newbie. But remember to tell them the truth, tell them the safest and best ways to be in. They are newbies and need to tell the ways to become better I reaching or earning the BTC.

If a newbie asks what is a good wallet to use?
Well yeah, hardware wallet may be friendly-newbies, but doesn't mean that you are better to suggest web wallets. Hw if they got scammed or their BTC lost? Will you take the responsibility if they are asking for it?
You may not need to make them use a hardware wallet, but there is an electrum wallet to be better.

If a newbie asks how to earn bitcoin?
Tell them that there is no easy way to earn Bitcoin if you are newbies. You know, it is better to tell them about the signature campaign or other campaign. Will they be only newbies or they are better to learn and learn more? I think that better tot ell about the knowledge at first because they can start learning from the basics and try to make a good member here. Doing faucet is very wasting your time and you may not get much money for it. SO, I personally will not suggest this.
4459  Economy / Economics / Re: FOLLOW THIS RULES TO BECOME RICH on: October 01, 2020, 09:45:31 PM
I don't know why some people are complaining about the rules. Some of the rules are true to be done if you want to be rich. Although they are not dominated, they can support each other. I know that being rich is various depending on how people think about the definition of "rich". But, as long as you enjoy your life and get everything you want, some people also feel that this is part of being rich.

-snip-
You are right that human needs social activities. But social activities are not only done by involving those things. Here, it will also depend on how you think about it. But in my opinion, if we are not involved in that 14th rule, it will save more your money. But if you think it is no problem, you can just run it.

Too many rules that you make for someone to be rich.  Even I don't see these rules in those who are rich and even crazy rich.  Those who are rich today are only those who have worked hard and are fortunate far more than the poor...
It only runs in several rich people only. But as you know, being rich is not only because they are a hard worker and also fortune. If they work hard and fortune but they can't manage their income an outcome, and also spend their money on many things unnecessarily, they will end up in a bad situations. So, I think that the rules are not wrong.
4460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie's guide to avoid ICO Scam on: October 01, 2020, 05:24:01 PM
Although for some we may think that ICOs are already outdated but they are not. Projects in ICO are still existing but you can see a few of them go into success.
Well, yeah, now, ICO is outdated and there is so small amount of ICO that can be seen. But, the scammers do not stop there. They may still have many more ways to scam and get the money from their victims. ANd many ore ways are newly likely scams in:
- Airdrop
- Youtube CHannel
_ Social media
- Sites with very great profits of investment
- And more
Sometimes, the projects are also likely very legit and they may also have IEO, But the IEO is not in the good exchanges so that probably the scammers still can make scams on there.
