4441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 27, 2019, 04:16:43 PM
Is there a single series happened this year without interfere from rain? I can't remember before the world cup but from the world cup, every series have been effected I think. Ashes (2nd match?), Tri-Nation Series in Bangladesh, South Africa tour of India, Srilanka tour of Pakistan. It's a rainy cricket year. Let's name it  Cheesy

I think there should be something like shifting the match to other date in case if rain spoils the match. I really feel sorry for the cricket fans who come out from long way and pay the ticket price to see the match. We had seen reserve dates for crucial stages in WC but now I feel this should be implemented for the normal matches as well.
4442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 27, 2019, 10:54:23 AM
October is gonna be a very hard month for Manchester Utd. They have to face Arsenal and Tottenham in EPL and Chelsea in EFL. While those teams are not running in that much of a good form but Manchester Utd is having the form far worse than them. I even have doubts against Newcastle and Norwich fixtures.
4443  Economy / Reputation / Re: Red Trust Senior, Hero , Legendary Member Account Buyer. on: September 27, 2019, 10:23:43 AM
I saw a gig on the fiverr with Merit sell. Seeking $15 for each merit, which is a very expensive. That means it will cost $150 to build a member account. Shocked

Merit seller gig :-   https://www.fiverr.com/crypto_ico_/supply-merits-for-your-bitcointalk-and-member-rank-accounts?ref_ctx_id=19177339-374c-4014-8704-1fd7e8dfad3c
I am quite intrigued how buying Merits is even more expensive than buying an account itself which already had activity.

Member account = $85
10 Merits only = $150

Maybe he is not serious about selling merits and accounts at all. Remember he is selling through auto-buy links so you never know for sure if he will scam you or he will actually give you.
4444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: September 27, 2019, 06:39:59 AM
Something is so wrong with the supposed big contenders for La Liga.

Sevilla 2-0 up all the way till 2/3rd of the game and then you let in three goals? 1 was a penalty for sure but looking at the highlights it could anyway have been 4-2.

Anyone betting on the home teams would be very happy.

Eibar has been defensively good at home matches plus Sevilla lost their key players like Yedder this transfer who were key players from them last season. On the other hand Eibar were running without a run so far so kinda predicted like a draw will be the favourable outcome but didn't expected them to win.
4445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [news] Dogecoin is the 3rd most secure versus 51% attacks after Bitcoin and Eth on: September 27, 2019, 04:32:30 AM
I shake my head. How can dogecoin be higher in hashrate than litecoin if dogecoin is only merged mined with litecoin? Should they not always be equal in hashrate or a little less for dogecoin?

I like dogecoin, however, is this article only another story to begin pumping doge?

His tweet has the graph which shows equal cost estimate for a 51% attack for one hour for both Litecoin and Dogecoin. I wonder why he mentioned Dogecoin only and not Litecoin in his tweet.

Maybe it's because he found out shocking in his research that Dogecoin made it third while the main reason behind it is merged mining with Litecoin which has given that status.
4446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of dice website that have wagering/special contest? on: September 26, 2019, 06:47:48 PM
no no, I also open to all kinds of wagering contest, the first thing I need to know is the site. How long its run is just the second factor. So yolo have wagering contest too?

Yes they do. Currently the prize pool is near 1.35 BTC with 1st place prize of 0.4 BTC around. The wagering contest is being paid upto 30 spots so it's a good one to try atleast.

They don't start the wagering contest regularly but whenever they do they announce it through newsletter and their wagering contest prizes are usually tempting.
4447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of dice website that have wagering/special contest? on: September 26, 2019, 02:12:16 PM
How about windice? Currently they are running 0.3 btc as the prize for wagering contest

OP is looking forward for wagering contests with short time period like that which ends within a day or within few hours. Windice wagering contest has 3 days timeframe. Otherwise there is Yolodice also who is holding a wagering contest of prize pool of 1 BTC + 50% of BTC site profit makes during the competition.
4448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are ICOs success factors? on: September 26, 2019, 02:04:11 PM
Success factor is dependent on project vision. What makes one project succeed might not work for  another. Different projects different success story especially when there's competition in the market.
I think ico now can not collect even the soft cap , and it is unlikely that ever ico will already collect large funds, it is better to give preference to ieo.

Switching to use IEO as a fundraiser could be a good option to go with since some peoples find it hard to directly trust the project themselves. Its not that there is much like a major difference between ICO and IEO but I think scammers operating behind a project has somehow played a role in IEO's success.

Right now there are very less people who still like to invest through ICO's and its for the best when we are dealing in crypto world.
4449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 26, 2019, 01:52:05 PM
I am genuinely surprised with Sri Lanka agreeing to tour Pakistan and am expecting appropriate security arrangements have been made to tackle the threats.

Pakistan would probably win this series even if the experienced Sri Lankan players were in the team which is why I am expecting Sri Lanka to lose this series, but they will definitely give them a tough fight. It will be interesting to watch how Pakistan perform after their World Cup journey.

When was the last time the terrorists attacked a sporting event in Pakistan? I am not very knowledgeable about the situation there, but I guess major cities are as safe as it could get. Obviously the Sri Lankans have reasons to be worried, as they were targeted during the last tour. But times have changed and the PCB has made better security arrangements this time.

It happened around in 2009. It has been 10 years now and I am quite sure that they have asked for good security arrangements before touring for the series.

I don't want to comment on terrorism in Pakistan but a terror attack can happen anywhere where from they can get public attention. They don't have to be in small or large cities.

Currently I find Pakistan in a better position in comparison to Sri Lankan team. Pakistan are full with good bowlers and experienced batsman while on other hand Sri Lankan team are quite out of form right now.
4450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 26, 2019, 01:06:37 PM
Also they have only one big player in the team who is Rashid khan. If you remove him out of the team, the team is just ordinary which have no chance to win even against small teams. They should make themselves better before thinking of playing more series with better teams. Think of the Srilanka team in 1996 which had so many good players that they even won the world cup.

There are also some names apart from Rashid Khan which makes a difference from ordinary teams like Zazai, Najibullah Zadran , Noor Ali Zadran. Even the young player Zahir Khan is starting to show some signs of becoming good player. I don't think Afghanistan is different just because of one player. They all in whole are capable of defeating big teams.

Things are just getting started for them. Just wait for them to make a mark.
4451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 25, 2019, 06:34:31 AM
Now again with Bumrah out, the batsmen don't look as competitive as they were against WI and here they are struggling in their own land against SA. Doesn't look like the same team to me but since Shami is still in the team, hopes are still there that they'll manage to win. Hope Rohit can recover his form by 2nd and Bumrah recovers soon. Rains have lessened now so less chances of matches getting washed away.

This is definitely a big jolt to the team as best bowler is now out of the test match which actually could turn the game away as he could easily pick the crucial wickets at important times of the match. And it’s test match so if batsman get settled they would make big score and can turn the match around .

I know it would have been better with Bumrah but Yadav has also very good bowling stats in Test matches. I think Shami and Yadav are gonna do well against the South African batsman. Also I don't think South Africa is playing with more test experienced player either. So I think its evenly matched even though Bumrah is out.

Its a good change and I love the part that they are giving Yadav a chance.

Unexpected disqualify of Tottenham yesterday in EFL cup.
They lost to Colchester in penalty shoutout.

And last weekend Pochettino was talking about watching his team with winning momentum LOL. They attacked pretty well but maybe luck wasn't their way.

Unexpected disqualify of Tottenham yesterday in EFL cup.
They lost to Colchester in penalty shoutout.

That lost both of my tickets yesterday otherwise I would have won big money as all other big teams won against lower divisions.I just add Tottenham only to make the odds bigger and I regret it because it was a very costly mistake for me.I think Tottenham should have won easily even with the second squad playing against them.

I've taken my mind off from betting on any Spurs fixture. Last CL match I lost my parlay only because of that fixture. It was all going perfect until those defense mistakes. Still hard to believe that they were having hard time facing Olympiakos in last fixture.
4453  Economy / Reputation / Re: Signature campaign managers have the most Alt accounts. on: September 25, 2019, 06:11:06 AM
My accusation is correct, accepting his Alt, Alt account.
Cheat:

2 Accounts Connected:

1. bakkang
2. Prettyme

Nice work Yoshie!!. I will start tagging all the accounts listed.

I know it is not right but even how many times I try to tell this no one believe me. Prettyme was my cousin. From the time we started bitcointalk we didn’t know at first that if you send gas to the other account bitcointalk address it will be link us here and was not allowed we didn’t know it will link to accounts. We are still too young in crypto that time.

What would you do if someone in your campaign has multiple accounts and after getting caught gives excuse : "Oh he was my cousin brother/sister.. or whatever"? Would you believe him?

Guess we need to modify rule: "One account each household" maybe just like casinos.  Cheesy

4454  Economy / Reputation / Re: Signature campaign managers have the most Alt accounts. on: September 25, 2019, 03:47:50 AM
I don't see him accepting these alts into his own campaigns.

Question:
1. What if the manager has his own account at most, can not be trusted.
2. How he accepts participants is himself, not others.

Campaign owners usually don't check this and end up hiring incompetent managers. If you find someone like this then just PM campaign owners about it. I am sure they will think about it and change if they find the evidence solid.

[snip]

Minor stress fracture is quite common amongst young athletes so not something major to worry about. He is a good bowler and someone whom we need in major competition and series. Does having some wierd bowling action created some major problems. We have seen many bowlers earlier like Malinga but haven't heard him getting injured with some unique problem.

4456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 24, 2019, 05:04:40 PM

No bro, both team have more or less similar strength and weakness. but guess right now rain is winning the moment. toss delayed....
@JSRAW Bangladesh plays very well but I find success much less Not once or twice has it happened many times.

Afghanistan is no different. They have capability to shock any good teams out there with their bowling and batting. Things are just getting started for Afghanistan. They might not win the whole series but beating Bangladesh is something memorable they are picking up from this tour.

Bangladesh is struggling in the batting sector is what I think. They are only one or two regular faces who scores for them. Rest doesn't makes any impact in the game.
4457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 24, 2019, 06:37:16 AM
The T20 series is over now... what's left is the ODI series and the three test matches. I don't think that the selectors will think about too much experimentation, either during the ODIs or for the tests. They should be fielding the full strength side.

Is there ODI matches in this series? I remember the South African tour to be 3 T20 and 3 Test series. I don't think there is an ODI match in between them. Or are referring to any other series.

Edit: Just checked. India don't have a ODI match until Dec 15 with West Indies. In between India has a Bangladesh tour which is also T20, test series.

Yes, 3 match ODI series between South Africa and India is scheduled in March 2020. Right now there is no ODI in this tour.

Always I used state India is completely depending upon Kohli. Last match he performed and India won the match. This time the starting missed, and the middle order too didn't performed well. This is not the first time, and this too is a result of over confidence from the Indian cricket team.

India as a unit is a balanced side but the problem I find is that middle order their is no fixed order and still not able to figure out the right combination as top order is sorted but majorly in middle overs when middle order bats they need to fire and ensure they keep the score at the good rate and keep wickets intact . With Dhoni absence it might take some time now to get that position filled .

I agree. They have quite a pool of players who can play out in middle but right now team management is focusing on young players rather than experienced who are getting old. It will take time to find someone young who fits and can be a consistent in T-20 format.
4458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: September 23, 2019, 08:25:34 PM
Really looking forward to Spurs v Bayern next week, Spurs will have to go for it at home, especially after draw away to Olympiakos, and Bayern have the firepower to make this a high-scoring game. We'll be backing over 2.5 and laying 0-0, 1-0 and 0-1.

Tottenham is out of form in the last matches.
Last weekend they lost to Leicester and they weren't able to play good football. With the current conditions, Bayern Munchen wouldn't have any difficulties in beating them on home.

Spurs are defensively week. Last CL match they had a very good lead and only few errors in defense gave the opponents to equalise the score and they capitalized the most on those chances. Their defense were having a hard time holding Olympiakos attackers. I hope Pochettino makes some changes in defense for the next CL match.
4459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Token Swaps Kill The Idea Of Hodling on: September 23, 2019, 08:11:37 PM
I was following the discussion and I do get it that investors also need to tuned up with updates but that doesn't necessarily mean that you should indirectly scam token holders that were unaware about it and came in late for the token swap. There should be a proper provision for them to recover it. Maybe remove the deadline.

Token swap is a very bad practice and by making investors lose their share will only welcome bad image.
4460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Token Swaps Kill The Idea Of Hodling on: September 23, 2019, 03:26:03 PM
Don't you think they can credit the same amount of token of whatever token swap ratio and credit the address accordingly. I have seen one or two projects doing that which is better than asking investors to do the token swap before deadline.

Just take a snapshot and credit accordingly. Otherwise you are just expecting your investors to lose coina during this event which I find it a bad practice in Altcoins.
