4441  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2013-03-19] Crypto Exchange Bithumb to Reduce Staff By Up to 50% on: March 26, 2019, 08:58:08 AM
I hope that the situation is going to be reversed otherwise we are going to have serious problems.
If companies such Bithumb make such moves we should be concerned. If this continues we are going to have problem when wanting to convert crypto to fiat and vice versa.
4442  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-24]Bank of Italy Calls Bitcoin Useless, Risky and Inefficient on: March 26, 2019, 08:54:23 AM
Lately a publication of the European Central Bank estimated the BTC transactions related to illegal activity at 4%. And this figure still seems quite close because it is true that the trend is no longer to use Bitcoin for dubious activities, but rather privacy coins. Why the Central Bank of Italy isn't happy, as it says.
Is it happy with how its currency is being used on a larger scale by the Italian mafia that corrupts public markets and companies? Isn't there a bigger effort to be made on this side? Or they're afraid

The funny thing is that Mafia operates "legally" in Italy because government earns a considerable amount of money from them via taxes etc due to their activities in the country.
The don't want cryptocurrencies because they are unable to control it. Criminality is not their problem because they allow to exist it. They are just afraid that they will lose their portion of money if Mafia switches to cryptos.
4443  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-22] NZ: Hacked Crypto Exchange Cryptopia Reopens its Trading Services on: March 26, 2019, 08:44:00 AM
I don't think how this is going to impact the exchange operations in the future but I see that some serious work has happened.
I haven't seen before a police investigation for a cryptocurrency exchange hacking that makes the future promising for cyber protection over hackers and online criminals.

I keep the positive facts from this event.
4444  Economy / Economics / Re: Each country has its own crypto currency! on: March 26, 2019, 08:40:07 AM
Well I will say this is an impossible dream for countries to now option in to cryptocurrency what will then happened to they faint paper money that is centralized and control by the government as the legal tender for the country. I don't think this will ever happen but if it does them we will see the one that will lead.

If a country has their own coins, maybe it will happen and believe that because humans will continue to grow and continue to buy new things to make it easier for everyone to do anything. Until you don't need to leave the house to buy food and drinks.

But this system where every country has its own currency (digital or not) it is just a centralized system that has no difference from the economic system that we live now at.
You will still need to exchange your coins for another currency if you want to send money in a citizen of another country. Of course time will be eliminated if this happens online but still this system is rotted.

I'm glad I went with England, it was an easy win for me. England equalized less than one minute after I placed my bet, and I knew I was gonna win the bet eventually.

Too bad for Ronaldo, he was unable to continue the game after getting injured, I just hope it's nothing much, And he'd be back for Juventus Champions league tie.
.

I wouldn’t worry too much about Ronaldo, he’s a machine. He very rarely misses many games through injury. His injury record is good.

Hopefully, Ronaldo will come back immediately. He has a long way in the Champions League with Juventus and he should definitely not miss it.
I think he has the best physios in his team this is why he don't have many injuries in his career even if he plays so much time in a season.
4446  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2013-03-23]Blockchain Expected to Store 10% of Global GDP by 2027 on: March 25, 2019, 05:21:50 PM
This should happen in the future.
No one can ever know what it is going to happen in approximately 10 years from now. I expect an economic crisis in the near future and I believe that people will start storing the value of their money in the cryptocurrencies. Thus, the value that it is stored in the industry is going to increase.
4447  Economy / Economics / Re: Europe's new plan: to give more free money to banks on: March 25, 2019, 04:10:00 PM
Government always ruin whatever they throw money at. Even more infuriating is that these bankers feel entitled to such subsidies. All they'll achieve by printing more money is weakening the economy in the long run.

Best of luck to everyone. Once the next crash comes, it's gonna be much worse.

Instead of giving money to save banks, governments can make some public spending in terms of transport infrastructure (build roads, stations, airports etc.) that will help the trading of goods between countries.
Moves like these can improve the trading balance of the EU, but they insist of trying to protect the banks in this vicious cycle that the economy has fallen.
4448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: March 25, 2019, 04:04:30 PM
Again have one match that ruin my fun. I will stop playing on favorites. No matter how good match was Netherlands Germany, that was disappointment from Croatia in Hungary. As runner up from WC they dont look as team.

Anyway just two match will be for me today.

Montenegro v England, win England
France v Iceland, win France

The favorites always cause some mess in terms of gambling.
I used to bet for the a lot when I realized that they are not value bet. Now I focus more on playing over 2.00 odds as I think it is better to do so. Your predictions are attractive though and I think that both of them can be won.
4449  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2013-03-23] 95% of Reported Bitcoin Trading Volume Is 'Fake' on: March 25, 2019, 01:18:46 PM
That doesn't surprise me at all.
In this period where the bear market insists, projects try to "manipulate" the community by promoting their project in a fake way. Fake volumes, paid shilling etc. it is all around the bitcointalk forum.

It is very sad to see that, and this is another reason that I do not invest anymore.
They will realize that they do more harm than good in the end.
4450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 25, 2019, 12:55:49 PM
-It is said that Liverpool wants to get rid of Naby Keita who signed last summer. Dortmund and Bayern are interested.
-There is more and more talk about Raphael Varane leaving Real Madrid next summer. Juve could go after him.
-AS reports that if Real wants to sign Mbappe, they're gonna have to pay him at least 15 millions Euros.
-City is interested in signing Atletico's LB Filipe Luis. He'll be free next summer.

Mbappe will be the hot topic of the transfer discussions this summer.
I don't think that Real Madrid has any problem paying that money in order to bring him at Santiago Bernabeu. Now that Zinedine Zidane is sitting on the bench it is very likely that Mbappe is going to move to Madrid.
4451  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what kind of trading will suit for me? on: March 25, 2019, 09:21:08 AM
Reading that you want 10-20% profit you should better do short term trading. It is more difficult in my opinion because you will need to spend more hours in front of your screen and read graphs than in a long term strategy.
Also, crypto to fiat of using a stablecoin will help you reach your profit goals easier.
4452  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fighting your own FOMO on: March 25, 2019, 09:16:25 AM
Meditating is good especially when you have no control over your mind base of the prediction and fake or good news that flow into the market.  I think we are not going to follow those FOMO if we really want to succeed in our trading.  You need to listen to gut to succeed in this market.

Meditation is a good solution for fighting your desires.
It is a way to clear your mind and forget about the thoughts that bombardize your mind. In order to avoid FOMO I also don't read news in the websites that don't seem credible to me.
4453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you long on, and why? on: March 25, 2019, 09:07:10 AM
Minus the obvious BTC for the looong term win, I'm going long on:

(1) Sia
(2) Dent

Here's why:

(1) They're both really cheap right now
(2) They both seek to unsettle massive players in established markets. Sia is smashing cloud storage players and DENT is disrupting data strongholds in mobile
(3) They are already delivering fantastic products

What are you long on, and why?

It is good to diversify your investment and in doing that its also good to look out for coins that have good potential and the two coins you mentioned are both good, but in doing that you should also look out for other coins that may be also profiting in the future and in other not to put your eggs in one basket since we living in a speculative market the need to diversify is very important.

There are also some levels of diversification in this portfolio, but not so many.
Both projects are very promising and it is a good option to go a long run with them. I would probably add some portions of a high valued crypto such as Bitcoin-Ethereum in order to eliminate the risk more.
4454  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you need cash for everyday use? on: March 25, 2019, 09:02:27 AM
of course most people here need cash for daily activities. because in daily activities we cannot be separated from the name of cash. because that includes our staple food. both for buying and selling transactions and others.

It depends on the country that you live at.
There are some developed countries that they have already established electronic systems for payments because there want to vanish cash for better expenditure controlling.
4455  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we are the beginning of a new bullrun? on: March 25, 2019, 08:56:14 AM
I expected to see the trend during the Q1 of 2019. The next month will be crucial for my speculation.
From what I have seen till now, I think that it is a very good signal that the price is stabilized at 4k for sometime and we are not falling below this level. Maybe after this stabilization we are going to see an upward trend that will increase the price of bitcoin.
4456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling.. way to loss on: March 25, 2019, 08:53:24 AM
Statistically speaking, the more bets a gambler make the more loses he is going to face.
It is also noticeable that gamblers do not calculate the amount that they bet but only the amounts that they receive as profit for their bets. This way the money that is bet is more that the money won.
4457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MOBA Gambling on: March 25, 2019, 08:48:30 AM
I haven't tracked any MOBA gambling site. This industry is still evolving and I think that there are little websites that have an esports section for gambling. It is a very risky section for bookers because possibilities for the player with the higher skill has the advantage to win so they will find some difficulties in feeding the algorithm with data.
4458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: March 25, 2019, 08:45:10 AM
I reckon the warmer track temperatures of Bahrain might be what Ferrari needs to win the race. Barcelona had warmer temperatures and they did very good in testing before the season started.

In any case, if Ferrari ends behind Redbull again, I reckon that the Honda engine might be more powerful than what was first thought of it.

The temperature of the track will have to do with the tires that the cars will wear.
There is nothing to do with any telemetric change on the set up of the car.
Ferrari will have a difficult season this year as well. I don't like that, because I was used to see more competition between teams in the past and now we see only Mercedes winning.
4459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I spend the daily expense by playing gambling? on: March 25, 2019, 08:40:10 AM
Is it possible to spend daily expenditure by gambling money? I think this is not possible. If you play gambling, the loss is more than profit. But yes, many people can play gambling very well and they can earn a lot of profit. But I would say gambling is never a profession. So it is better not to earn money by playing gambling. Gambling should play just for fun. You should not spend your pocket money with gambling money.

Thank you

It may be possible in a short-term period but in the long run you are going to be wrecked.
You cannot sustain a life with money from gambling. The more you gamble the more you lose and you end up not being able to cover your expenses and probably you will not have enough money to gamble anymore.
4460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: March 25, 2019, 08:38:03 AM
What a close match on Netherlands vs Germany match, 0-2 in the first half and almost a comeback 2 goals on 2nd half for Netherlands but nope, a last minute goal by schulz makes Germany won that match. A bit surprised Israel can beat Austria with many goals, 4-2, props to them.

It was a fantastic team from both teams.
I am impressed with the Netherlands' team as I didn't expect to make this comeback. This team has a bright future because it is full of young players that will be top-class players in the future.
