4442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What happened to investment strategy BLSH? on: February 21, 2021, 11:06:25 PM
BUY when its LOW and SELL when its HIGH (BLSH)

In recent time following the bullrun of 2020 which has somehow seemed not to fade out completely with the bitcoin market still on the rise as other determinants for the direction of the market has come in play like Elon Musk in his tweets and the whales in recent time to push and sustain the market at a high, breaking and creating new highs with btc price now at $66k, the investment strategy of buying when its low and selling high (BLSH) seems to be of little or no importance anymore. Now, it's all about, everyone needing a piece of the pie, to be a shareholder, a crypto smart citizen of the world and so, it doesn't matter when you buy no more but how long you can hold on to your btc.

So bitcoin has been marked as a currency of the future and so, spending bitcoin at the moment doesn't seem much like the right thing to do as it isn't supposed to be so with currencies. Currencies are meant to be for exchange but bitcoin though is exchanged, the growth it attains in due time makes it a hard to spend currency. Hence, owing a certain % of your asset in bitcoin seems like the best form of investment in recent times with the waves bitcoin is creating globally.

As to this note, whales and Celebrities around the globe in the likes of Elon Musk a crypto enthusiast and investment guru has come up to invest huge in bitcoin to spike its price such that, even at all time highs (ATH), we still experience a massive buy which makes one ask themselves,

What happened to Sell when its high and Buy when its low?

What do you use now to determine when to buy?

For me, its a matter of buy if the market is lower than the previous day and be ready for a long time of wait.
It all goes down to one thing, buy or own bitcoin now!!!
What do you guys use?

I don't know how this might sound to Most of the newbies out here or should i say beginners but, its important to note that the first step is always the hardest step and that's what you have done by creating an account on this platform. For some, it might have come easy while others experienced a little difficulty of whitelisting there IP address after paying a small fee in BTC and that alone becomes a motivation for a few who are passionate enough and really mean to build a fortune for themselves through the forum. Mind you, its all possible, if only you persist. So many flock in here but not so many are active, a glance at bpip.org and you can spot the statistics on that;

The arrow in red shows the inactive accounts while the green represents the active once. You can see that between them, there is a lot of difference and the inactive once are more. This is to tell you that, there is a lot of logging on and reading to do if you really mean to be part of this community. It's got to be a part of your lifestyle and not just another fantasy or a therapy for boredom. It's a learning and earning center, be willing and informative to get the best. So, it doesn't end in just registering and creating few threads and replies, you've got to be focus and stay persistent.

For the beginners, don't just create threads, do well to visit them, read the replies and apply them for results. Stay motivated.
4444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: February 21, 2021, 09:14:39 PM
The statistics in a game against Barcelona is always going to show dominance on Barca's side. A match where Barca isn't on point in stats on statistics is going to look really abnormal but, stats don't win match nor gives you 3 points, goals do. Barca were just out there performing today, they were too clumsy o the attack, 4 shots on target out of over 20. Its poor for me and this was a chance for them to gain in on Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid instead, they just had another draw. Seems they scored all there goals against Deportivo Alavez and have got nothing left for Cadiz but a goal. Not good!
4445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 21, 2021, 08:54:39 PM
Manchester City managed to be the winner with the very early goal (2') Sterling scored. City were the better side of course but I can't say that they played awesome. Because if we look at the shots on goal, both teams were really terrible on it. City are 10 points ahead now in the table and there are 13 games left.
Surprisingly in football, that's all it takes to get the 3 point, a goal difference and the game is all over. We saw that happen to Liverpool and now Arsenal, it always comes with a feeling that there is more time and the next you know is the goal being defended to the final whistle. For a team like Arsenal, conceiving an early goal against Manchester city is as well as Arsenal loosing the game. To be frank, they did good to avoid conceiving more goals and just like that, Pep has got his 3 points while Liverpool and Tottenham suffers loses.

Leicester city and Manchester united are doing good with both of them winning there games.
4446  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [SHOCK] A Mysterious $194k Fees On A Single Bitcoin Transactions on: February 21, 2021, 08:35:16 PM
I don't understand at what point these errors occur and it amazes me because, from my experience with electrum bitcoin wallet, transaction are automated as well as manual but then, its often automated by default so, should you be inexperienced, your very unlikely not to be aware of the transfer fee settings not to talk of selecting between manual and auto fee settings.

Again, transactions to be added to the mempool is always charged based on the bytes they occupy and as such, a multiple of sat/byte gives the total. So, at what point do this error of paying over $194k for just 0.00005btc do occur? As in, for a complete numb, isn't the sat/byte enough to mitigate against that or for a professional, isn't he or she conscious of what he or she is typing?
I don't seem to get it, at what point do this error do occur?

Well, it could actually be an error or there is more to it which is based on the possibility of a compromised miner's identity (Being an insider kind of thing)
So i don't know to what extent this is a error and allowed to confirm without complaint on refund!
4447  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Futuur.com | Signature Campaign ~ Full Members+ | Earn up to $50/Week! on: February 21, 2021, 09:02:02 AM

EDIT; Small note regarding withdraws from Futuur for campaign participants: The payment processor that is in use on-site currently charge a .4 mBTC withdraw fee, no matter the size of your withdraw. Futuur have decided to give you one free withdraw per month by adding an extra .2 twice (first .2 got added today, next .2 will be added in one of the upcoming weeks within the first 4 weeks of the campaign).

So, if you do not want to pay to withdraw, just wait and they'll let you make one for free - sweet deal! Smiley

Hi sir, thanks for having us.

About the withdrawal, we were promised a free withdrawal in a month as an extra .2 was to be added twice within a single month to enable the free withdrawal but somehow, i was still charged after being 0.4mbtc when i did some withdrawal 2weeks and a few days ago.
Not a problem though just want to find out if, the Futuur team took that offer off the table or they forgot about it?

I must say a very big thank you on how you've been managing the campaign thus far, its always a pleasure to work with you and your payment is always never lagging. It comes in due time and follows a regular pattern based on current pay rate. It's a good one and i look forward to working again with you if you would allow me. Thanks once more for having me.
4448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Restored from seed, 0 balance, no history. on: February 20, 2021, 10:50:42 PM
Perhaps you generated a new seed in those early days that and it had nothing related to the wallet in question or its of a different wallet with the uncertainty about your question. But, it shouldn't have restored if it isn't about right so, the first one goes for me as the possible explanation of what happened.

Should the address be completely right, then, blockchain.com has got to have all the history and transaction details not excluding the balance on that address. Even bitref.com too can help in reading through the address too as data stored on the blocks are not erased except in a 51% attack on the blockchain which affects only recent blocks and for a time.
4449  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Antiwork: It takes a lot of work to create no work. on: February 20, 2021, 10:21:51 PM
Work is all that is to life, if you don't work you won't find life easy and would just be a problem to society. Its the way it is, hating work simply means you finding other ways of surviving, you might consider it easy but, your still going to brain storm and that in itself is work.

The richest man in the world and other employers of labor works as hard as a common laborer on the streets. How?
You might not be involved in the physical handy jobs, but the stress you put yourself through to ensure the supervise the managers and contemplating on decisions that would help and expand the your organization is work as well. I tell you consumes much energy in going through papers and brain storming as you do while exercising too. So, you can't take work out of the picture ever, its always going to be there! You can hate an aspect but, don't hate work!

Don't work hard but, work smart!

This na the reason I dey advise people, especially graduates sey make dem nor dey look up to government for job. E nor go come, except de persin get connection. Most times de connections sef nor dey fit pass security office.
Hahahahahahaha, that security office part funny me. 4451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 20, 2021, 08:34:10 PM
It's just the finishing that's a problem for Bayern and also, I didn't really like seeing Neuer keep the net until he conceded two goals in the first half. I think if Neuer can care more, maybe Bayern will only concede one goal, if that happens I believe Bayern have the ability to win the match, seeing there are many goal attempts they have made.
Its funny how a flawless Bayern has stated sharing and loosing more and more points in the Bundesliga. How the problem was never about the finishing with Roberto Leuwandoski, Kingsley Coman, Muller and the rest of them nor was it about the keeping until now. The problem with Bayern is that, they are too comfortable as champions and believe that they've got the league in there grasps so, its a matter of the matches they choose not to play around with that they would win and as such, they seem not to notice the fact that Leipzig is very much closing in on the gap. Should Leipzig win there next game with Hertha Berlin which isn't a high stake game for Leipzig, it would be a 2 points difference between Bayern and Leipzig.
Bayern has got to start taking there games seriously else, this is just as good as them loosing the league.
4452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: February 20, 2021, 08:24:06 PM
Atletico Madrid finally lost there game for a second time today to Levante. It seems Levante is the nemesis of big teams in the Laliga this season and are good at stealing points from only the big teams. They lost to Osasuna but before then, they won Barcelona, drew Atletico Madrid on there first encounter and now, they won them at home.

These Levante guys are just too good and now the League is some worth open for more competition as this is an opportunity for Barcelona and Real Madrid to gain points and close in on Atletico Madrid. Though, Atletico Madrid has got one outstanding game to extend there hold and loosing won't be an option.
4453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 20, 2021, 08:12:14 PM
Liverpool is such a joke this season. From the look of things, they won't be advancing beyond the fifth spot on the league table, its so unlike them. This is supposed to be an EPL title contending team, they started on a good foot, are the only team to have sat on the EPL table at least twice and now, they just can't play a game without loosing. So uncool. Today was supposed to be a redemption evening for them  perhaps they would have come with some of the UCL ginger but, they just came to continue from where they left off. After conceiving an early 3 minutes goal to Everton by Richardlison, they still went ahead to commit a penalty at the die minute. All hope is lost on this team, for them, its all about next season now.

Chelsea's draw is another unexpected one but then, they had a some worth good game though, they should have won.
4454  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: February 20, 2021, 05:46:14 PM
Liverpool and klopp has been the loosing side in the EPL for far too long that i feel it's time for a come back if they are to end well in the league this season. Though, they've got a few players missing in the first 11 team and injury rocking the team, they still managed to triumph over Leipzig in the UCL so, the EPL shouldn't be much of a difference if they put in there best against Everton today and they are playing from a home side so, the fans and the advantage is on there side and so i expect nothing but a win. So, my bet goes as;

You'll be surprised how simple such an important aspect of address signing in cryptos is. I still need OgNasty's confirmation that i did the right thing though.

4459  Other / Off-topic / Re: The security megathread: Detailed info about keypairs, encryption, and more on: February 17, 2021, 07:54:57 AM
A public key is a piece of data that you share with everyone, which identifies the access being granted, while the private key is secret data that grants access to the resources protected by the public key. They are always generated in pairs, that's why you'll sometimes hear them called keypairs when referring to both of them. Think of the public key as a door lock or car lock and the private key being the "key" that unlocks it.
I didn't really get this illustration at first, getting to see it as a door look as, public keys are transparent and as such though unaccessible, it's content is visualizable meanwhile, most doors are designed to be opaque but then,I came to the realization that, there are actually transparent glass doors that comes with locks and a key. So, it's a very correct illustration.

Why are public and private keys necessary

Suppose you paid for access to a computing resource. The vendor needs a way to securely provide you the login information to your resource. A lot of them use passwords for this task but the disadvantage of using passwords is that anyone who remembers what your password is can access your resource. There also exist brute-forcing programs for passwords.

These problems are partially mitigated by providing you a private key. First of all, private keys are not human-readable, so someone can't just glance behind your shoulder and remember them. Second, private keys take exponentially more time to brute-force than a medium-length password (you need a password length of about 311 ASCII characters to provide the equivalent security of an RSA-2048 private key, and 622 characters for RSA-4096 key).
311, that's a lot of numbers but still, I don't think the length actually makes for a better distinguishing factor as one can choose to combine numbers in ways hat could be unique to them to make out a lengthy password and that still doesn't make it a private key. I think the difference is more about it's generation as one follows a definite pattern when it's human because, there could only be about a point humans follow as to generating a combination set for easy remembrance which won't be random enough but the machine generated keys uses an algorithm set and is very much random.

It's a nice piece and I like the way it gradually moved along the parts of complexity. Still trying to grasp some information contained in the content though but, sure would be watching out for info's as these.
4460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: February 16, 2021, 06:45:36 PM
I'm just out here wondering whats the fate of Liverpool in this fixtures because, Liverpool has had such bad games of recent in the EPL, lots of injuries in the team, in fact the team is very much in disarray as it is and they would be playing a visionary and informed Bundesliga team Leipzig who's consistency isn't questionable. They stand as the only team that still poses some threat to Bayern and of one two teams that won their games in the Bundesliga the recent concluded week. The best Liverpool can get out of this game is a draw else, its a Leipzig win for sure.
Barca on the other hand might as well work there magic on PSG though, i don't think it's going to be an easy game but would be entertaining for sure.
