4441  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: April 26, 2023, 08:12:42 PM

@wiwo, Indeed, we are also here learning from OP's mistake, but don't be surprised that some people will still take such a risk after reading others mistakes; that's just human nature, full of some deadly decisions that the results are always awful 😓 at thet time

Yes, we have learned a lot from ops mistakes and from the various comments we read in this thread have helped to further broaden our understanding of the entire situation but then we all should also know that where there is no risk, there won't be a reward and gambling is one hell of risk ventures at that we must expect to see more risks takers in the future regardless of what lesson this current incident may have thought us.

But the goal should be to take the minimal risk that could give a high return not to take an over-boarding risk such as this gambler took because he went too extreme in this situation to have staked 1.04 million dollars.
4442  Economy / Speculation / Re: FTX recovered $7.3B in Assets and is considering restarting! on: April 26, 2023, 07:48:13 PM
It really would be quite nice if they restarted, allowed partial withdrawals and then had a make-up token that they used to start paying their customers back with over time that could be traded at a discount on the open market.

Bitfinex effectively did similar during their hack and paid it off. Seems like a good enough method to me.
Developing a token rp pay customers back is going to cost extra for the already bankrupted FTX and that could become a possible way for more delay for investors to get a true refund, but also since the majority of the planned reimbursement is through insurance it becomes more investors friendly and confident building and those of the investors who already filled to refund processed via the third party site will get a refund but when that will be my not be certain.

Since tthisprocess will involve a lot of steps before getting clarification and verification via the third-party insurance refunds.

4443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stay updated on: April 26, 2023, 07:42:20 PM
The first and primary thing to do when you picked interest in any game is to keep yourself up-to-date with the current games lineup and try as much as possible to followup by watching all the matches/fights and also reading news about the current games statics and what the players are up to including possible transfers and recent injuries.

Because all those mentioned contribute to the game's outcome but the most effective way to keep yourself up to date is by following current games and their results.
4444  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: April 26, 2023, 07:04:23 PM
But lowering their budget each time seems to be showing that they are starting to doubt the capacity of their advertising that they are gathering enough money from bitcointalk users to break even their expenses from paying their participants.

so maybe their past process are changing slowly and maybe we will find them stopping their collaboration also in bitcointalk in the coming days.
and I believe that this will happen in the sooner time.
Where did they lower their budget? From what I have seen, they still pay high rates to all ranks though their campaign duration has decreased over time. Their recent campaigns only ran for a couple of weeks.

It does seem like they will stop promoting their site completely in this forum at some point in the future.
rodskee it will be nice if they stop their promotion here in the forum at least it will be a goodbye to the bad routine eggs who have continued to pollute the forum with 1xbit signatures, and the news of their campaign ending will give some of us some relief since their presence will no longer be noticed in the forum and it will become easier for us to tackle they falsehood here in they ANN threads.

But if you can share a link to point to where the pay has been lowered for the signature participant and if there is the possibility of them ending it in totality soon.
4445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: April 26, 2023, 06:50:39 PM
according to my experience, many of the bounty campaigns that I participated in did not pay for what we have done, but this was not entirely due to scam projects, most of their projects did not achieve the minimum soft cap in fundraising, therefore the project was cancelled and returned to investors
This is understandable if the white paper contain all of that information of possible cancellation of the project if the soft cap is not reached and investors get a refund of their investment, but what about the bounty humthunters have invested both the time and money in promoting the project over some time, this is what the thread is all about since we are discussing the faith of bounty hunters and not investors in this discussion.

Investors already have their investment covered and there could easily get reimbursement, but bounty hunters have been at the centre of the whole crisis when the project failed to meet up any of its listing demands.

The best possible way that bounty hunters' interests are protected is by making bounty campaign payments paid in other recognised coins like Bitcoin or Ethereum and even USTD.
4446  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: April 26, 2023, 06:40:17 PM
Anyhow I gamble, whenever I make loses I see it as an opportunity for me to better my game and do better next time. It is not easy for us to bet and keep having consistent profits Everytime which I understand. We should make sure that our gambling pattern do not make things worse for us and make us loses as a gambler.
The mindset to have a consistent winning is what has led to many gamblers becoming so much involved to the point that they could be referred to as addicts this is what we all must try as much as possible to avoid and going forward it should be that a gambler has the double edge mindset that is, regardless of the game outcome the player should be prepared enough to face whatever the outcome could be.

Gambling should not be taken as a mean of making profits but as fun and if you have that mindset it will stop you from betting so much more than you can afford to bear and when the loss happens you take it with one faith and move on regardless.
4447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I may sound really stupid right now, but it's what I noticed on: April 26, 2023, 06:10:13 PM
First, you must know every fud intends to force the price down and since that is the ultimate goal for fuds, it becomes clear that in times of bear markets, it's best to generate a lot of fuds that could possibly force the market to stay down for as long as possible and that is why we have so much fuds during a bear market.

But in a bull market, everyone is already amazed by the ability of Bitcoin to break every previous barrier and this could easily shade off every possible fuds naturally, both bull and bear markets have their peculiar sentiments
4448  Economy / Gambling / Re: MEGA:PARI | Gambling&Betting | PLENTY OF BONUSES INSIDE 💸💸💸 on: April 26, 2023, 01:24:24 PM
There's a difference of the time of he posted, he posted this post was on April, 24 while the previous one is April, 21. There's 3 days differences, while the forum will not allow you to bump your post in the last 24 hours. So technically it's allowed to post without merge it as long as it's already met 24 hours. It's not only limited for the @OP too, but we as a member is allowed too.
Ok, thanks for this infoemantion, and all the while I thought it better to post between and other users' comments in each comment regardless if you are the ops, but your replies and clarity it has helped my understanding more of the forum post and its guideline.

I will be glad if you can share/quote where this is mentioned on the forum rules where any administrator mentioned this.
4449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC treasure hunt on: April 26, 2023, 12:40:23 PM
Snip~

Nah, The post that you reply regarding direct copy paste of someone tweet is not enough reason to accused him for plagiarism because he clearly didn’t own the statement and just reply it to the folks that ask for it. The source is already on the OP and it’s not necessary needed to paste the sources every time he post it on the same thread in which the source is already available.

Even if someone reported him and the moderator accidentally ban him. I’m sure his appeal will be approved easily since it’s too obvious that he is not owning the quoted statement from Twitter.

Hey mate sorry if you took my comment as an automatic offence I was just warning ops to learn how to quote properly since it looks as if not everyone takes note of how to quote external posts properly and that practice is popular among newbies who are just learning the forum.

Anyway thanks for the comment, next time I will use more laser terms for some ops, but hey that's the best I could do in that situation.
4450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC treasure hunt on: April 25, 2023, 10:21:20 PM
Quoting it would be great, plus we have our own treasure hunt here initiated by Satoshi himself, and he just recently sent 900 bitcoins to the ocean of keys for us to find, and it is also proven that they are real and exist.

You mean quote the tweet where he mentioned it? Here it is:
"I hid a private #Bitcoin key encoded in this piece I wrote for @BitcoinMagazine. Nobody’s figured it out yet, but it’s for 20 BTC"

And thanks for letting me know about the Satoshi treasure hunt!!! sounds really cool!
The quote above not not done properly and you should try as much as possible to avoid copy and paste directly because the forum rule is against that since it pours plagiarism if you don't reference to the original owner and that could get Your account banned, making a proper quote os something you can learn on your own since you can quote someone comment already and for clarity sake, I will check the link you posted to see how I can quote it here from Twitter if it is difficult for you to do.

I will give you some time to see if you can make the quote yourself if not, I can help out if need be.
4451  Economy / Gambling / Re: MEGA:PARI | Gambling&Betting | PLENTY OF BONUSES INSIDE 💸💸💸 on: April 25, 2023, 09:44:21 PM
Up!
I don't know how correct I am on this one, but making multiple comments in a roll is against forum posting habits, but I am sure if that is applied to your case since you a re the ops of this topic but it is best and more visually friendly to have some gaps between your replies and you can actually combine all your replies in one comments by quoting each message you want to reply to.

But just to air my viewpoint on your general casino outlook and features even though I have not placed any bets on the casino I have run through the site and I find it appealing and friendly and I believe that that quality and reputation will get players attracted to your casino naturally.
4452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Tether crash to $0? on: April 25, 2023, 09:32:04 PM
Back in 2017, the topic of stablecoins like Tether completely crashing to $0. Is Tether still safe to hold your funds on?
Tether is centralized and pegged to the US dollars which give it some level of credibility,  but the assurance is not there that it can be impossible to crashed to zero then also we can have some rare situations that can force the price to crash below recovery and one of such situation is were there is a back in tether network, this could impact its price beyond recovery level and also if the big bag holders decide to walk away pulling an exit one on the remaining tether communities.

Or a government policy could also force its price to fall below that recovery benchmark mark, so even though it seems impossible for the tether to crash to zero, it is also important we are aware of thepossibility for that happen also.
4453  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: April 25, 2023, 09:25:15 PM
so there's no need to be too greedy for betting large amounts at small odd.
and some people here must think that the guy bet 1.4 million dollars just because of greed.

Greed, manipulation, believing way too much in the team—what else could it be?

Well, it just circles around one thing, which I think he believed way too much in and also greed in play. In every aspect of gambling, it is good for someone to also apply wisdom, like not gambling with all the money; he would have divided it into two and played the game with different options. But anyway, they say, "gamble with what you can afford to risk," so I believe he was only able to risk $1.4 million, and it suggest he has more.
For a person with such balance to stake with I don't think greed will have the essential part of his decision making especially in this situation where the potential winning amount is low because it's insane for someone to risk a whole 1.04 million dollars on a potential winning of 14 thousand dollars of rewards it makes no sense.

But then they did have already been done and ops lost everything in the process and we are all here learning from his mistake, and what I think affected the ops is overconfidence in the team and sure odds.
4454  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: April 25, 2023, 08:56:51 PM

This is the answer to them and they cant do anything else for you. They are proven scammers and their main job is to scam you and that is what they are doing and will do. There are a lot of posts on the forum and how dare you are that still you deposit funds on there?
What's up with this pattern of response from most scam casinos lately I wonder why they always use the responses from the security team as the ultimate decision of their company if they don't have a planned intention to scam their players.

But I am sure most people are already getting awareness about the ethic of this casino that are selectively scamming the customers, and basing it on the possibility of abuse from the player even without clear evidence from the outcome of the investigations.
4455  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Getting Educated on: April 25, 2023, 08:14:54 PM
Education is the backbone of the nation. Just as no animal can stand without backbone, no nation can thrive without education. The more educated the nation is, the more advanced the nation is. Without education, no country's economy, state system, social system can be managed well. Education system is like the roots of a tree, the lower the roots go, the stronger the tree is, the more educated the individual or society is, the stronger the society or individual is. Regarding education, the Holy Quran says Iqra means read. Read in the name of your Lord who created you, who created man - (Surah Al-Alak, Verses 1-3) That is, it is very important for us to gain knowledge in every field. Education plays an important role in every field. For example, medical science is very important for our treatment, if there was no medical science, we would not be able to alleviate major diseases, on the other hand, the importance of engineering education is also immense in building large buildings. Our social system, politics, religious aspects, philosophy all depend on education. Human morality and our conduct is highly dependent on the education system, education leads people from darkness to light. So everyone needs to study according to their ability from their own place
You are overtly mentioning the nation in your statement as if Nation is an individual, please you have to use a more conciezed word that reflects the true message you are trying to pass, you better mention Individual or person to know who exactly plays the role of being educated because the citizens are the one that drives the nation and not the other way around so it's important to have an educated people that will build a solid nation through their education and knowledge.

You nailed it in the last paragraph where you mentioned and outline the importance of educating an individual for nations building which is the bedrock of every positive development, and lack of education limits the development of any society.

4456  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 BINOBI - BEST ONLINE CASINO |🚀BINOBI Affiliate Program| 💸Earn with RevShare on: April 25, 2023, 08:06:49 PM
Yes, that's right, each provider has its own limitations, there's nothing we can do about it. We do not have a ban on the use of VPN. Lots of interesting things to come!  Cool
Welcome ops and this is the first time I am seeing this casino but from the look of things, we will have some exciting things coming up soon and it also good to note that your casino has an appealing graphics design that constantly reminds me of binance exchange and at some point I thought you have any relationships with finance to have adopted their designs style and other logos.

Awesome to hear that you permit the use of a VPN on your site without any penalties, but then that could be incredible in you don't demand KYC verification at some points because for a user that rreregistersa VPN under a different location or may become problematic to get such user verified of time come for that in the future.

I think that is something that needs to be looked into to avoid a future crisis that may arise from this.
4457  Economy / Gambling / Re: betzus.com ♠Crypto + Fiat Online Casino , Sportsbook , Slots , Games [Big Bonus] on: April 24, 2023, 07:49:06 PM

hello and thanks for interesting….

BETZUS IS LICENSED & OFFICIAL.

PLAYERS DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT FOR DEPOSITS  &  WITHDRAWALS.

GL
Nice to here all the feedbacks from your ops, but in all your responses you have not answered the question as regards to KYC on withdrawals or deposits, do you have any limit set on KYC demands or your casino is KYC-free, since you licensed I believe you will be KYC compliance so at that you need to make some clarifications regarding your KYC policy so other members of the forum could get clarification on that and to avoid any possible future confusion.

I am glad to see that you did mention that on your site but not in a detailed form, this is important because recent incidence and misconceptions mostly result from KYC processes and demands and how players take them, and another thing is what your stand is on the use of VPN to access your casino, do you also have restrictions on the use of VPN?

I will be waiting to read your replies on the above-mentioned and try as2 much as possible to be more detailed in your conceptualization and explanations!

Thank you all the way mate and once again you are welcome.
4458  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Most important place on earth. Where? on: April 24, 2023, 06:52:39 PM

According to what I can infer from the correspondent's meaning, the Amazon region's surrounding natural beauty makes it an essential location on Earth. Even though this may be the most important location for him, I don't like the idea of applying his conclusions to the entire population where he has been to. To me, this is just an exaggeration not proven that Amazon is everyone's most important location.
There is no doubting the fact that, Amazon is one of the world's most attractive places on earth with its best natural endowment but we still have other locations around the world that are also appealing for tourism and human inhibition and we have a good number of them around the world and even in my country we have a location that is called Obudo cattle range and this tourism location is one of the most sort after tourist locations around the world it inhabitants comprises of people from all over the globe.

And it ranks among the world's best locations, but I don't think it can be rated with the Amazon, since I believe Amazon already made the Guinness Book of Records if I am not mistaken.
4459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 24, 2023, 03:53:29 PM
Manchester City is doing great in the Premier League. The Arsenal team has drawn some matches which has adversely affected their points table. If Manchester City wins the next matches, they will have a great fight to go to the top of the points table.
Man City has a chance to take first place from Arsenal because they have 2 games less than Arsenal. If they can win both of these matches, then they will have 76 points, which means that they are 1 point ahead of Arsenal. The match against Arsenal will also be a crucial match. To keep their chances, at least Man City must not lose to Arsenal.

Manchester City is now more advantageous than Arsenal in securing the the league title. Two outstanding matches means 6 points in view and automatic 1 point difference ahead of Arsenal. This game between both teams should matter so much to Arsenal if they must take the trophy the have laboured so hard for since the start of the season. Has it stand Garduolla has three cups in front of him so if Arsenal can give good pressure in the home team they might concede to Arsenal so they focus more on the bigger competition.
Arsenal vs Manchester city is going to determine the direction the remaining premier will go, bit the fact that both clubs have several games before their meeting could change. The face of things for both clubs and as the league is progressing a lot of smaller clubs are giving the bigger clubs a lot of surprises and this has made it impossible for us to give an outright speculation on which club is walking away with the league title this season 2022-2023.

If all things being equal both clubs, it's going to be a tough battle for both clubs and since we know football is full of loads of surprises, it could turn out that the least expected which is Asernal walking as the league winner defeating the defending champion which is Manchester city who are more focused in winning the champion league other than the premier league.

4460  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betcoin.AG SCAM!!! -1000$ on: April 24, 2023, 03:21:23 PM
OP - They are literally trying to send you ur whole balance back, how could that be a scam lmao
provide the documents they asked for and u can use their site (if ur in a valid region) or take your full balance back. seems pretty simple to me

The ops seems to be obsessed with the casino I don't know what the problem is with some gamblers recently because a good number of reports recently are all based on false claims and misunderstanding from the side of the gambler and this has to stop, I don't normally take any accusation that doesn't contain enough evidence to support the claims, and from the look of things ops registered under false location and he is trying to avoid kyc despite knowing that it's there in Betcoin terms and conditions that KYC may be demanded at some point.

The only lesson I see in all of the thos is that, before registering at a casino, try to read their terms of service to know if it's okay for you or not. Most importantly try to. Avoid the use of VPN for registration because your first cookies are kept on the site and that is what determines your location when verifying your account, this can make it impossible to verify your account even if you provide all valid IDs.
