Marcos Rojo always been a flop for Man United, but his recently performance is the best form of his career, with a bit of lucky of course. Wayne Rooney is just fine, still waiting for him to break the Man United all time scoring record.
Yeah Rojo played well recently, and his duet with Phil Jones makes them become the best center back duet Man United have so far in this season imo. And instead of Rojo, actually Phil Jones deserves to get more attention. I didnt think he would back to his best performance again after come back from injury, but he does.
About Rooney, I wait it too, and I guess so does Sir Bobby Charlton, because he recently always watched Man United games from the stands Cheesy

I'm curious about what happened with Zaha.  He was acquired by Moyes to play for United years ago and then he was loaned back to Palace and then was given the option to buy him back?  I wasn't exactly following his career.  But what really happened?  What made Moyes bring him back to Palace?  I'm sure Zaha was playing well at that time.  I mean why acquire him in the first place just to sell him back?
It makes me wondering too, well the only thing I heard is, there was a stupid rumor said Zaha has slept with Moyes daughter. I didnt believe that, but there was no other reason why Moyes abandoned him tho.

true James is not a CF but i think is PSG board trying to sell off their players after dominating the league for a long time and now after they got some popularity from the fans around the world they are to trying to sell some players and back to make profit from it we so many players leave this year Like Luiz Lavezzi Ibrahimovic and i think that they are trying to get their money back from Cavani because he is closing on 30 and his price will drop after that also he is not a fan favorite as he had many mistakes but he still a world class striker also he didn't miss much of gameplay while he was partenered with Ibrahimovic just he was not scoring like he is doing now
Im very sure Real Madrid put high price for James, so if you think PSG starting to sell their players to get their money back, well your logic is completely wrong dude. In the last transfer window, PSG signed Krychowiak and Jese Rodriguez with total 60 millions euro, which it means they dont stop to buy player with expensive price. If Cavani really leaves, then PSG must seek another center forward, not an attacking midfielder like James since they have had many players in that position, like Di Maria, Jese, Lucas Moura, Ben Arfa, and Pastore.
4443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: December 15, 2016, 11:47:00 AM
Manchester united are eyingCavani in the winter to be the long time replacement for Ibrahimovic and i belleive this rumour could go throught specialy when PSG looking to sign James Rodriguez from Real Madrid also PSG european campaign soon will be ended because they will be facing bacelona and with them are not in their best form they will propably wouldn't match Barcelona
First of all, James isnt a center forward like Cavani, so that couldnt be a reason for PSG to let Cavani go, because they dont have any good center forward except him after Zlatan moved to Man United. Beside that, beating Barcelona isnt an impossible mission. Why you guys think Barcelona is the best team in this world? They could lose too like other teams. I dont think Cavani will join Man United, because he would meet Zlatan again there and it would means his chance to play is low like when they were playing together in PSG.

Middlesbrough vs Liverpool
..both team to score (@1.91)..

Sunderland vs Chelsea
..over 2.5 goals (@1.73)..

Crystal Palace vs Man United
..Man United win half time (@2.2)..

Man City vs Watford
..bet on over 1.5 goals.. (@2.08).

First of all i believe alot of people would place bet for liverpool, chelsea, manchester united and manchester city to win as they are favorited even play as away. the only doubt i have only for liverpool where the last 2 away games they never win , against southampton 0-0 and against bournemouth terrible lost 4-3 and a couple days ago get draw 2-2 at anfield, and now it's an away game which i would predict a draw and under 2.5 goals.
For chelsea and manchester city i have no doubt they would win the game as it's a must , but i don't think manchester united can win the game , i just not sure so i would place a bet for both teams to score as you may know crystal palace always score a goal at home! nice review falconer Wink
Thank you poplolnman, but I got 1 right prediction only from those matches, its a shame for me Embarrassed Yeah your prediction was correct about Crystal Palace, they scored a goal on that match, I hope you bet on that last night. I will make more precise review for next matches.

I wouldn't be that cruel with Leicester. They've clearly focused on Champions League, and a smaller team like Seville could perfectly lose against them. Of course they won't get exploded, and we'll probably have a boring draw in Spain but a nice victory in England for the second match.
Sevilla is a smaller team? Dont try to make me laugh mate Roll Eyes

Perfectly. Sevilla is first not concentrating on Champions League like Leicester is doing. Budget is also not the same, Leicester's one being quite largely superior. Finally, I believe Leicester players to be better. Just Vardy is better than Nasri. Mahrez is also an excellent player.

How can you say that?  The CL is the most prestigeous European club tournament out there.  All the clubs who reached the KO stages are totally focused on it, and are trying to balance everything with their respective league fixtures and other cup games.

I also noticed you're a new account that suddenly appeared here.  This could be another signature spam account in the making, churning out nonesense posts.  Please stop it or Lauda will have to mark your accounts red again.

when he heard the news of Juventus will meet FC Porto in the knockout, I could not wait for the duel between the two best goalkeepers at the moment, between Casillas and Buffon. we know that Casillas is a fan of Buffon, but until now only Casillas capable of providing the achievements of the team, but maybe this time is part Buffon to grab it with his achievement because Casillas was in a different team since they both duel.
True daarul50, people keep busy with Bayern vs Arsenal, and no one realized that Casillas made his way to qualify to stage of 16 with Porto and will meet Buffon on this stage. Honestly I hope he backs and plays with Real Madrid again.

So the team that concentrating to Champions League too much means they are a big team? Not sure where you get that logic. Sevilla is the most successful team in Europa League, and in otherwise its the first time to Leicester playing in european competition.

Could this be the last season of Diego Simeone at Atletico Madrid? His son said that his father Diego will take charge of Inter Milan in the future. With his bad results with Atletico this year maybe he will be at Inter by next season?
He used to say that he hopes to become Inter coach someday, but I dont think it will be next season. We cant judge him from the bad results Atletico get now, over the amazing performance they had in previous seasons.

3 times arsenal meet bayern munich in champions league knockout and they never make it happen to qualified over bayern munich, last time arsenal won at home 2-0 but then lost 5-1 at bayern munich home. poor arsenal Sad .

also arsenal just suffering lost to everton 2-1 a couple hours ago in premier league which shows how inconsistent arsenal. this make me pretty sure arsenal won't make it.
They have bought many great players, changed strategy, and developed young talents, but they still cant win Champions League. The only thing they havent tried is changing the coach, but it likely wouldnt happen soon. I know, Wenger is a top coach, but there is nothing he did except selling his amazing players to other team.

Teams like Napoli can't beat R Madrid no matter how hard they will try. They can't sustain the pressure. Napoli can call Upon Angels and Devils to play for them, they still can't beat Madrid. You can beat those SerIa A teams, but when it comes to teams like R Madrid, Bayern, Barcelona ! . It's will be 1/10 for Napoli. Not hurting any Napoli fan feelings. But that is the truth.
The truth is, Wolfsburg beat Real Madrid 2-0 in Champions League last season. Im a Madridista but it doesnt mean I supporting Real Madrid blindly. Well Napoli have good chance to win one game, but if we are talking about which team will qualify to next stage, then yeah I choose Real Madrid.

I wouldn't be that cruel with Leicester. They've clearly focused on Champions League, and a smaller team like Seville could perfectly lose against them. Of course they won't get exploded, and we'll probably have a boring draw in Spain but a nice victory in England for the second match.

4449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 14, 2016, 05:47:18 PM
yeah i agree that leipzig are indeed have been projected since first time they get promoted to bundesliga, they bought Bernardo, Marius Müller, Benno Schmitz, Oliver Burke, Naby Keïta, Timo Werner and get loan for , Kyriakos Papadopoulos from leverkusen , all of them cost 50 million euro! a huge amount for a promotional team. but the result of those investment are pretty successfull so far considering leipzig are on bundesliga winner market.
It just proves us that money could buy you anything. Well then, seems RB Leipzig could be the other rich team beside Bayern. I guess it would trig other big companies or investors to do the same, and if that happens, Bundesliga could be more attractive.

Big money invested in the clubs of the Bundesliga is a good thing only if they find the right balance. We as fans do not want to see another Barcelona or another Real Madrid where they jack up the prices during the transfer window simply because they can. A good example where to find and follow this kind of balance is none other than Bayern Munich.
Well you know, Real Madrid and Barcelona have the greatest rivalry in the world, which they will do anything to be better each other. If Real Madrid sign a great player, then Barcelona will do that as well, and vice versa, no matter how much they will spend. But in Bundesliga, Bayern Munich dominating it too much, not only the title, but also the transfer activity there. Because of that, they can buy good players from other team of Bundesliga in "cheap" price. There is no balance at all.

My little analysis about few tonight matches:

Middlesbrough vs Liverpool
Im still pessimist about Liverpool, that didnt perform well like early season after Coutinho injured. Im not saying that Liverpool's chance to win is zero, but its better to avoid bet on Liverpool win. Instead of that, I think both team to score (@1.91) sounds safe enough.

Sunderland vs Chelsea
As we know, the unbeatable record in last 9 games by Chelsea makes their odds to win become low, but it doesnt mean that pretty safe to bet, since every Premier League team now trying to break that record. Well, I predict the result will be over 2.5 goals (@1.73), because I think the match between them as the top and last position team in Premier League table would have many goals.

Crystal Palace vs Man United
Like two above matches, I will avoid betting on which team win. Im not sure if Michael Carrick will play on this match, since he is not young anymore and couldnt be fit on every match. But if he plays, Man United will win the match, and my prediction is Man United win half time (@2.2). If he doesnt play, I guess it will be Benteke to score (@3.35), because without Carrick, the Man United defense will be bad.

Man City vs Watford
Even tho Man City have been beaten badly by Chelsea and Leicester, their odds to win on this game is still too low (@1.25), which the house believe that Man City can win against Watford. Yeah I believe it too, which Pep as great coach wont let his team to get losing 3 times in a row. Well, I prefer to bet on over 1.5 goals in first half since it has higher odds (@2.08).
4451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: December 14, 2016, 03:10:11 PM
But if he considers Argentine league not too competitive why he did not move to a more competitive league like the Premier League or the Spanish League? You're right, Tevez is still too young to retire because of his age is still 32 years old, but his stamina is not like it used to be. Maybe we better see his decision later, is he going to play football or choose to retire at a young age. Whatever the choice that is best for him.
Some players wish to play in their own country at their end of career, and so did Tevez. But thats too early for him since he still performed well when playing with Juventus as his last European club. Yeah we should appreciate any decision he would take.
4452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: December 13, 2016, 03:44:21 PM
Indeed Tevez is still good enough to play, but the statistics are to decline in my opinion. Now he could only score a few goals and I think his stamina has decreased not like before. If you see news, Tevez claimed he was tired and he intends to retire early. I look at some of the interview, Tevez still confused about his future, and he is confused to accept the Chinese club.
I think thats because Argentine League is not too competitive for him, thats why he feels bored and considers to retire. Anw he is still 32 yo, which its not too old for a player as good as him. Well its up to him tho, he has full right to do what he feels best for himself.
4453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 13, 2016, 03:22:49 PM
I guess Mou would add another new player to be Carrick successor.

Who?  If it were up to you who could fill that role?  Carrick plays simple and direct most of the time minus the Kante-like energy and ball recovery.  I think Gueye could make a good fit for the role if Mourinho intends to put Pogba side by side with him since Pogba is mostly attacking minded.
Thats very true tokeweed! Carrick has different playing style with Kante, which he doesnt use his energy too much and prefer to play effectively like Pirlo. Gueye is not bad, but I dont see any impressive performance by him frequently. Well some midfielder players who caught my attention are Eric Dier, Mousa Dembele, Cesc Fabregas, and Nemanja Matic. Yeah I know its almost impossible for Man United to sign them, but that would be great if Man United do that.

Just shaking my head , it seems Real Madrid is paying UEFA a great deal, how come they are always given seemingly weak teams. It's been consistent for the past 4 years and I don't know what's happening at UEFA. When are we going to see Madrid play Bayern Munchen or Arsenal at this stage of the competition?Huh Sucks!!!
Lol. Yeah seems Real Madrid paid UEFA and Arsenal didnt.

Yup.  And let's also point out that Bayern Munich under Ancelloti will be a far cry from the Jupp Heynckes era.  Pep himself wasn't able to replicate it.  This will not be a Bayern that has so dominated the Bundesliga for so long and has reached the CL quarters easily.  With the emergence of RB Leipzig, I think they would have to dig deep and think how uncertain their number one position is in the league.

Out of three draws vs Bayern in 5 years, I like their chances to go through the KO stage this year.  But one advantage Bayern has over Arsenal is the winter break.  The EPL has none.
That caught my attention too, I admit that Heynckes is one of the best Bayern coach. Its likely the chance of Bayern to win UCL on this season is not too high. But something may change, because Ancelotti has great experience in Champions League. And yeah, your reason about winter break could also make Bayern have more chance to win against Arsenal

Arsenal's opponents in Champions League last couple seasons  Cheesy

2010/11 - Barcelona
2012/13 - Bayern
2013/14 - Bayern
2015/16 - Barcelona
2016/17 - Bayern
Lol isnt that hilarious? I feel pity on Wenger now, not sure why he always gets bad luck in stage of 16. I guess if they win this time, then they could win Champions League Cheesy
4457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prediction ligue 1, france football league on: December 12, 2016, 04:37:22 PM
I think the result could gone more better if Nice put Mario Balotelli in the starting eleven, he look just fine though, no sign of injury.
Im not sure he would score if playing as starting line up, but one sure thing is, he likely always get yellow card in every match lol. No one expected that Balotelli could perform well again, since he chose Ligue 1 and Nice, but that was the great decision he made.
4458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 12, 2016, 04:27:39 PM
Nothing really unusual for this weeks games except for RB Leipzig losing to relegation candidate Ingolstadt. This should be an opportunity for Bayern Munich to study that game to find out the weaknesses of Leipzig. They will be playing vs. each other 2 weeks from now.

It is indeed unusual for leipzig to lose, some people might have thought that it is normal especially that they have win 9 times in a row before they lose however it is indeed not normal. Alot of people lost their money because of this when everyone thought that this supposed to be an easy win for leipzig
I'm the one of the “some people" that think it's normal RB Leipzig to lose game, as I said before they have a problem to keep a clean sheet and bad defence, here come the day that they fail to score. But it still not the end of the world for them, they just lost the 3 points lead and tied up with Bayer. This make the next two game more interesting, the 21 December battle at Allianz Arena gonna be the best show in Christmas week.
Lol same with me too, its not that easy for a new team like RB Leipzig to win Bundesliga. Dont compare it with Leicester, which Leicester had enough experience in Premier League and also had good coach yet some great players. Im not underestimating RB Leipzig, but they still have much time to win it, and I think not for this season. Yeah I wont miss that great match, cant wait to see.
4459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 12, 2016, 04:13:32 PM
About Man United game, even tho Mkhitaryan was the motm, but still my fav player Carrick did a great job. Every time he playing in this season, Man United is unbeatable.

If only he was 5 years younger...  I think they'll offer him a year more to play for United until Mourinho finds a good replacement for him.  Who do you think is good to replace Carrick?

Maybe Mourinho's intent for Pogba was to play that role.  Didn't he position Pogba where Carrick is positioned in the recent games?  Do you think Pogba could mature and play the CM role?
I actually thought that Schneiderlin is the suitable player to replace Carrick, but now seems he is not. Pogba could be, but Ander Herrera has better ability to get that role. Yeah its a pity when we realized that Carrick is not young anymore. I guess Mou would add another new player to be Carrick successor. About Pogba, he is not bad, but sometimes he made many blunders. He still need more time to adapt well in Premier League atmosphere.

Not sure why you guys betting on who the Ballon d'Or winner, which if you are true football fan, then you should realize that Ronaldo deserves it. The only thing that could change it is some people who bribe the juries to manipulate the result. You are just wasting your time.
