So it didn't even rise 2X. Embarrassed What went wrong?

150Btc Volume atm, I highly doubt that the trading going on now will be the "real" price.
Add to the fact that most people are holding and you come up with the result that what is indeed being sold is just a bunch of bounty hunters and newbie investors. Personally, I wouldn't worry that much- big exchanges are coming soon, this is only the first day of active trading. Many coins take weeks to pump, and it's likely this won't be the week that it happens.
4442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Buying ICONOMI / ICN shares on: October 25, 2016, 10:52:26 AM
I can do escrow for you guys..
Just let me know if anyone need escrow.. only 1% of total sell will be my fee.
Thank You.

ICN isn't available for transfer right now and will only be available after block 2,505,000 and after that there is a high chance that exchanges will open ICN trading so this thread is pretty much useless now
That's just 30 minutes away with the block times we have now, and it'll take some time to implement iconomi on exchanges, so we might actually have a use for this thread briefly after the coins are unlocked. Not as bad as it seems.
4443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: October 25, 2016, 10:48:27 AM
So a bit more than an hour left till launch? Smiley I am getting excited

Yeah but lunch on what ? Bittrex is working to launch Antshares today also, and Polo didn't make any announce
Still, we get our tokens freed today, so it's still a nice day even though half of the fudders will dump today. Give it some time and we'll be on some exchanges, at least a shit one like liqui and larger ones in a few weeks. Most legit investors are going to hold, so it's no big deal for you really.
4444  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: is mining still profitable on: October 24, 2016, 12:46:56 AM
Q.
How many fucking threads like this do we need?
A.
None.

Hey, people still need information, and it's our job to provide it to them no matter how lazy they are. Smiley

It depends where you live, cooling cost, and electrical costs. Don't mine with electricity above .10$ cents, and unless your electrical costs are below 0.05$kwh, don't use the s7. Cooling may also be a factor if you live in a hot area. Quality over quantity here, no matter how many miners you have, it won't work without a low electrical cost.

4446  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase customer service on: October 23, 2016, 06:58:06 PM
Hello guys!
Anyone knows what happen with coinbase?
I bought some coins and I tried to send them but still pending since 2 hours ago.
Never happened this to me before but I'm trying to contact to them and they don't answer.
Is there the possibility to live chat with them?
Thanks!

I have an unconfirmed transaction for 2 hours too.
The fees are 10 cents and enough to be confirmed but I'm still waiting.

Well... mine is not even sent.  It shows as pending to send.
It's taken me 4 hours once; it should be sent in the next few hours, don't worry. They take care of things quickly and there's probably a small issue on their end that they're fixing. Their support is a bit slow, it took me two days for them to answer once, but you should get your bitcoin in a day or even less.

I don't think they have livechat.
4447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: October 23, 2016, 06:22:32 PM
Poloniex has no reason to not add ICN.
Just it, bot like waves.
They also have no reason to add it. Unless it gets some more volume and more trading volume, it's probably not going on Polo anytime soon. Who knows, maybe other exchanges will see Liqui's pair succeed and we might get some other exchanges in within the first week. If you're holding, it's not really important if it gets onto a major exchange so quickly; it'll come with time and the price will likely rise.
4448  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Minera Ant miner s1 on: October 23, 2016, 06:19:44 PM
Preconfigured should work for an S1, if that doesn't work just come back and tell us. S1 is a bit old iirc but BFGminer should read it just fine. Definitely don't select gridseed or zeus, those are totally different miners with different firmware; gridseed doesn't even make pure SHA256 miners anymore and it's likely to not work.
4449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make a good amount with 0.01BTC? on: October 23, 2016, 06:13:40 PM
the only way through which you can make some good profit from such a small investment is to invest it in gambling although there is always a chance of losing your own money but if you have some skill and experience then you can really make good profit from gambling.
Investing with a low amount of bitcoin takes quite a while to get any profit, you're better off just going all in on a jackpot and hoping that you win. It's a small amount of capital and any profit gained is going to be miniscule, if at all you profit from it. You can also try rolling 0.001 at a low percentage and try to get something, although even that takes luck.
4450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Controlling your temper in gambling on: October 23, 2016, 05:59:15 PM
after reading these tips, I became better at controlling my emotions in each game. however, I also had its own way to control my emotions in gambling, and I think it's owned by every person who gamble. but these are good tips and may be particularly helpful for people who need it
The forum is a great place to find information, not just about gambling. You just need to filter out the trolls and FUD and you'll find there's plenty of good information and help here available.

Setting a plan while gambling is also a nice way to control losses as well as tempers; you get what you want and you don't gamble too much. It's important to try to cut your losses, especially when gambling.
4451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: October 23, 2016, 05:54:50 PM
Looks like things are getting quiet in the days coming up... I like this Smiley we'll be up and running in no time! I just hope that we get some larger exchanges in within a month, we might start seeing larger pumps then. Either way, I except around 25 cents or even 30 the first week, even if it's just Liqui in the beginning. Exciting times around the corner Smiley

Don't sell your ICN on the ICO site; you're only getting 13 cents each for them. Unless you really need money, don't do it.
4452  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price we would be at if Btifinex disaster didn't happen? on: October 23, 2016, 05:47:50 PM
Up to 50$ more than it is now. It definitely affected the price a lot, but it's really not a huge issue imo as we're going to what could be 700$ by November. Some people are exaggerating it by saying over 750, but I don't think that's the case. Either way, that's the past, focus on the future. Smiley things happen, and we always recover eventually.
4453  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: October 23, 2016, 05:41:26 PM
Bitcoin has been performing well historically, and there are always plenty of opportunities to buy low and sell high. It's easy to invest in and easy to make money out of, but you need to remember that there is always risk involved. That said, Bitcoin is currently the main cryptocurrency used, and it doesn't look like that'll change soon. You can even earn by holding; that's how profitable it is.
4454  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What is best equipment and way to get into mining? on: October 23, 2016, 11:13:22 AM
I currently want to join the vast network of bitcoin miners as a hobby. I do not expect to earn much but maybe in the $100 range per month.

What would be the best equipment to use? Would used equipment be better then new?

before thinking of going in to bitcoin mining, you should consider first how much is electricy in your country as needs to be almost free of cost before mining can be profitable for you and even you have free electricity it would take you around a year or so before you can get the money you investment in mining rigs alone.
While it is true that the S9 takes more than a year to ROI even on free electricity, you need to remember that you gain money by selling your miner as well. That can push you into ROI and beyond pretty easily, even after the miner becomes obsolete. As long as the miner you use up is no less than one generation older than the current one, it's a good idea to sell.
This also applies for altcoins like Monero and ether, but because this is the bitcoin forum, I won't go into detail, but GPU mining such coins can give you faster roi and more profit, as well as having the benefit of GPUS keeping their cost well after you buy them. You can even game on them after they become obsolete for mining if you wish Smiley
4455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: October 23, 2016, 11:07:12 AM
so bounty participants can now sell their ICN tokens for BTC, 5000 ICN = 1 BTC.

what was the ICO price?
That is the ICO Price (1/5000=0.0002 bitcoin) , the ICO price was 0.0002 Bitcoin for avoid the dump . You can sell it or hold it .

*I logged in to the ICO , but I didn't get a verification code (I using SMS) anyone have same problem with me?  Huh

when ICN hits exchanges and its going to be at least 4 or 5 times ICO price then those that will sell their bounties now will be crying. but hey they got it without spending BTC anyway so win-win situation for them. more win for those that will hold though.
Even if you plan on selling, it's not a wise choice to sell now; Iconomi's fixed rate is pretty bad at just 5000 for 1 bitcoin. You'd be better off waiting until market even if you are a bounty hunter or just hold. Things are taking off quick Smiley
4456  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 23, 2016, 12:28:38 AM
lol and always those 200 walls on bitstamp. we are seeing them now since weeks, once one 200 stack is being bought he refills and sets the next 200 wall.

sometimes i wonder if those hacked finex coins are eventually being sold step by step on other exchanges.
That's exactly what I'm thinking right now, not a bad idea to sell without much attention. It's not holding us back too much, but we'd probably be at a higher price without all of these 200 walls everywhere.

I feel a 65-35 chance of breaking the 600 cap we've been at for so long, we could just go back to the high 500s though. I choose to be optimistic Smiley
4457  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: faucetbox don't payment !!!!!!! on: October 23, 2016, 12:25:15 AM
Keep in mind the people running the site are people too and they occasionally have issues with payment and processing. I've had to wait for 72 hours once, but they usually solve issues very quickly and well. There are also better ways of earning bitcoin than from faucets, you might want to check them out. I.E posting on bctalk, writing, etc.
4458  Economy / Auctions / Re: Account sr.member on: October 23, 2016, 12:21:33 AM
This is also the wrong place to post auctions. Please move this thread to the auctions section where it belongs; there's also the matter of your trust, I don't think anybody going to buy from you.

Selling your own account on the same account being used isn't too smart, there are people that will report you for red trust, and either way, a red trust account isn't of any use to anyone whatsoever.
4459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Buying ICONOMI / ICN shares on: October 22, 2016, 08:23:02 PM
The only issue with this new fixed price selling is that you're selling for just 12 cents each, 6 below the ICO price. If you're smart, you'll wait until the shit hits the exchanges and sell then for best results.
While it's nice that they've provided us with this opportunity, unless you really need money, don't do it.
4460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform on: October 22, 2016, 08:16:55 PM
It's nice that the bounty hunters are cashing out now instead of later so that it'll cause a dump, but I suspect the smarter ones will dump once they're on exchange; the current asking price from them is arundel 12 cents and most hunters want at least ICO price. Just my two cents.
