MicroBT release their new M50s++ with advertised efficiency of 21w/th, someone showed me a video of the miner doing 161th at 3368 on the power meter, that's slightly below 21w/th including the cooling fans, pretty much a huge jump from MicroBT, this is equivalent of Bitmain S19Xp which has 21.5w/th efficiency and a max hashrate of 141th.
Bitmain has always been ahead of the rest in terms of efficiency, making me think that a new version of the XP (maybe S21) will come pretty soon to beat the M50s++.
As for the price, the Antminer XP goes for about 22-23$/th, while M50s++ is pre-order for October and sells at a higher price 25-26$/th, it will be interesting to see how these two take it from here, not sure how much room there is for efficiency, Both use 5nm (TSMC and Samsung), gears seem to be pretty optimized, going below 20w/th will be pretty hard for both of them.

NYC Votes To Freeze Deposits At Capital One Bank and KeyBankNew York City Comptroller Brad Lander has frozen deposits at Capital One and KeyBank for failing to demonstrate efforts to address discrimination. The banks did not submit required plans regarding non discrimination policies resulting in the freeze. While they can continue servicing existing contracts for one year new deposits are halted NYC doesn't have any money anyway; they're always on the verge of bankruptcy and it's only getting worse. Capital One makes 20 billion a year - I can't imagine they gaf about NYC's paltry deposits. 7 million at cap and 10 mill at key not much As xhomerx10 said these deposits are NYC's money no more or less. as for woke or not woke I am not sure what the violations are. so many ways to be guilty of discrimination many of which have nothing to do with being woke. and of course many are all about woke. |

This is normal in almost all industries. For example, Tesla has not yet reached the efficiency of Toyota. Bitman has been working for about 10 years and they have learned from their previous experiences, so it is logical that their efficiency is the best. I have not used any WhatsMiner device before, but I am sure that they will gain good efficiency in the coming years. Price is not a major driver in this industry, as it is part of many variables, not like efficiency and quality. avalon used to be very good quality they simply worked. they used to cost more than bitmain I own all three. s15 , s17 and s19 from bitmain m10, m30 and m50 from whatsminer 1066,1166 and 1246 from avalon I would get more s19 more m50 but not more 1246 My reasons are my power limits are 210kwatts and even though my power is very cheap the a1246 will not be near the efficiency of the s19 or m50 |

He can get 100 L3+ for $6,000 which is a very good price.
But he is settled on a dead end short term miner. In the L3+
His power price is really cheap.
My issue is $ per watt.
The L3+ = 800 watts for 1 dollar in coins
the m30 = 3200 watts for 7 dollars in coins.
so 4 L3+ = 3200 watts for 4 dollars take more space and have a very short future due to 1/2 ing in 60-70 days.
the m30 = 3200 watts for 7 dollar a day takes less space and has a 200 + day till 1/2 ing it is the more valuable unit.
he could buy his 100 l3+
and 1 m30
pay 7200 which is his budget.
he could list the l3+ slow on eBay to recover more money and slowly convert all his shit to m30 units.
So while it is not all mining bitcoin now. by Jan he would be 100% m30 and all BTC

Price has been sideways for a while and diff is sideways. Not bad for a miner with cheap power cost. My DCA hits on weds. I am thinking of making a trezor for the wife adding some btc to it monthly.

not exactly true . the bone structure part is true. but you do not change your organs you simply mutilate them. ie when you operate on a girl and mutilate her pussy into a dick and balls she/he can not get pregnant or make a girl get pregnant. or if you savage a guys johnson and balls into a pussy and whatever else then he/she can’t get pregnant or get any girl pregnant. So it is not a true transgender it is a true trans mutation. I have zero issue with an adult wanting to mutilate their body into a sterile body. But I do have an issue on pushing this on anyone under 16-18 as kids do not need to make life long decisions about their reproductive abilities. If science could really change you from boy to girl and back to boy. or from girl to boy and back to girl fine but until we can it is simply mutilation of your body. The really crazy part about the trans movement to me is that they say the parts you have don't determine your sex, but then they all want to rush to change their parts... They say that they want to be accepted for who they are, but then want to literally change who they are. It's all so twisted I think you have to have a certain level of mental illness to see any logic in their thinking. However, Bitcoin doesn't care what you do to your dick. It's back on the uptrend after testing the trading range lows over the weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if we were back to testing $30K by the end of the month. I have taught of this seriously and I began to have a biased concern to bitcointalk if any signatures campaigns in bitcointalk can affects the existence of bitcointalk if they commit a crime that leads to government investigations.
First of all, I wish to commend you on this insightful question you just asked, and I will like to give you a brief example. You could all remember there was a signature campaign known as "ChipMixer", and months later we got to noticed it has been seized by the U.S government and under investigation. So did the investigation affect the forum? The answer is "NO", or did its investigation affect it's forum campaign participants? The answer is also "NO". So in summary @ O.P, that answers your question that an investigation of a signature campaign can never affect the activities of the forum. Secondly do we believe that bitcointalk can be obstructed by government if their is a noticeable crime by the management?
For me, I think that can only be possible only if the forum domain is under the host of a government regulated firm, but if the forum has an independent host, then that is likely not going to be possible.. But I stand to be corrected if I'm wrong on this. From my understanding it seems to me that bitcoin existence is different from the bitcointalk forum and without the existence of bitcointalk forum bitcoin will continue existing, what's your take on this.
The forum was the official place for the discussion of the development of Bitcoin, so it has an important role to play in the continue use of Bitcoin This idea came to me through what happened to the site of bitcointalk few days ago which I couldn't logins my account for sometimes, I wasn't happy when the incident occur

Why so high? Current tech is 23-25J/TH It is a 4950 watt machine plus the watts for your immersion tank. So maybe 5100 watts for 165th and the cost of the immersion tank the fluid the pump the radiator. I have been continuously frustrated by my attempts to get my liquid cooler delivered from octominer I simply can’t get a good answer from them. I would love to be able to setup a few liquid cooled rigs. One using this unit one using two whatminers m30 one using two whatminers m50 on using an s19 xp show off all four setups with a nice long review. but without delivery of my liquid cooler it is in limbo. |
