4441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breached $14k today on: November 03, 2020, 06:49:11 PM
Just because it didn't break over and became stable over 14k doesn't change the fact that it did reached over 14k for a while, that is the fact and even though it wasn't there for a long period and only like half an hour, it did reached over it anyway.

What we need to realize is the fact that reaching 14k is not just a price but also a symbolism, ever since the 2017 peak times of 20k, we dropped lower and lower, whenever we tried to go over high prices we never broke over 14k ever again, this was the first time in 3 years that we managed to go over 14k after we went under it, which is a symbol that bitcoin is no longer in the bear/stable period and it is on the bull period and any price is possible. If 14k was possible and we went over, that means 15k could be possible and no reason not to be, same for 16k and all the way to 20k.
Reaching 10k is already half-way to its ath which on that level alone then we can say that Bitcoin isnt already into its bear state. We are slowly climbing up to the top.
We do have the same words and inputs everytime we do reach out even 1k thresold. We have said this when price hits up 12 and 13k where we do hope that it do breaks
and now we are now above 13k then its normal for us to hope for 14k and so forth with 15k onwards. Lets not be on a hurry because we would eventually go there
and best thing to be done now is to accumulate as much as you can but if you are an active trader or investor then this wont really be an issue for you.
4442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi bets vs single bets on: November 03, 2020, 05:42:38 PM
I usually do multiple bets. I don't think either way is more beneficial, that is just the way that I play. Over the course of time I get a similar winning percentage either way. Placing multiple bets at once feels better to me because you have a better chance of winning something whereas the other way I might end up walking away with nothing for that day.
If you can win using both single bets and multiple bets and you can win many times, that is because you have the luck that comes to you. Not many people can win many times in gambling, and many of them are losing their money while playing gambling. Maybe some people will have their winning in the multiple bets to make them win the money. But we should not forget that no matter what we choose, single bets or multi bets, the chance of losing the money will be there. So you don't have to tempt because of your winning because you can lose the win money in the next round, so stopping gambling will be better to do.

You got the point because some people do find multi bets is effective than with single but some do make use of this two since its been giving out some profits to them.
So this will matter into someone on which one they would choose but if both do works then its normal for them to stick out. I agree being mentioned above ^ that
odds given on single bet would have corresponding equivalent when you do make multiples.Thing here is that they do differ with the amount to be spent or to bet
because in multi bet you can make your small bet with some decent multiplier which i do see the main edge.
4443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for salary on: November 02, 2020, 11:30:25 PM
Bitcoin is also a currency and it’s can be converted to any currency in the world. So with these understanding I don’t see any big deal with paying salaries using bitcoin. Its just to educate the employees about bitcoin and help them setup their wallet now instead of having account details the company would rather request for the wallet address of their staffs. All payment would be made through bitcoin and the staff is left with the option of trading the bitcoin or using it for other markets purpose.
If they are not interested with cryptos, it would be inconvenient for them because they will need to use exchanges in order to fully make use of their salary or if it is third party, fees will be shouldered by them, unless not. But if they prefer fiat, you don't really need to convince them, sharing your knowledge would be a good approach but you cannot do nything if interest is lacking in the first place.
It would be pointless because people wont find it appealing specially if the dont know bitcoin in the first place.Care to explain? yes you can but they would really end up
on using their own money with those fees when it comes to conversion same as you mentioned and that would be an another issue for them. Some may say that
it would be complicated and would surely reject on the idea but there are some who would welcome for such change. As we know that we cant please everybody
so it would be better if we do stick out to traditional ways and introduce bitcoin into other way.
4444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $100 USD vs $10,000 USD Trading Capital on: November 02, 2020, 10:55:24 PM
It doesnt matter on what amount you do start off- This is just the same when you do ask out neither you do start with $10 or $100.
It wont really be that a serious issue even though there are really difference in terms of profits but overall you would still need the
same strategy and ways for making yourself to be profitable in the end of the day.If you are just a beginner with this trading career then its better to start with small
amounts so that in case you do lose it all then it wont really be that hurting much compared on losing a thousand bucks in a short span of time
and this is one of the advantages but dont expect for big profits on having smaller capital.
4445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: November 02, 2020, 10:25:04 PM
Discipline is a must, you know what I'm sayin.

Agree discipline is a mus, I've seen a lot of users having great losses in gambling and trying to recover you have to discipline yourself
to control how you gamble if not you'll just ended up losing everything experienced that before.

That is one "skill" that needs to be practiced more often by all gamblers but sadly have the difficulty doing. You need the mental state that is at par with the best successful gamblers out there who can take loss and move on to strategize the next game. If you lose you stop and do not pursue it further, many times it will fail you. Many of us including me have learned it the hard way. Hundreds if not thousands of dollars were initially lost because of lack of the proper mental state. And you just have to learn out of it and start strategizing your next game.
You wont realize until you had it experienced and majority of us did really pass into this kind of situation. Some do able to realize themselves and some do still stick into this kind of behavior on where being impulsive
wouldnt really give out something good. Control isnt really something that can be attained but there are people including me which can really make out control even if im not really engaging into gambling for long time.
It isnt necessary to lose thousands of dollars before you do able to realize. Few bets would be enough. Its just a matter of self-acceptance and a little bit of adjustment on what you do believe towards
gambling. Dont chase up loses and play for enjoyment and this should how majority do think of.
4446  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC can reach $ 20000 after PayPal, Venmo accept payments in BTC, ETH? on: November 02, 2020, 09:56:15 PM
Following PayPal information, Venmo allows payment of its services in BTC, ETH and a few other tokens, the price of BTC has increased sharply, sometimes surpassing $ 13,000 and is still holding at $ 12900. But why is the market reacting so positively?  BTC can reach $ 20000 after PayPal, Venmo accept payments in BTC, ETH?

The price of BTC this year is increasing slowly. This is an interesting thing. It is possible that after PayPal accepts the payment system with BTC, the price of BTC will increase, but it will not reach $ 20k. If the price of BTC rises sharply, I'm afraid that something bad will happen, which means a dump will occur.
That is indeed something to be expected. The market price will not continuously increase, and dumps are more likely to occur in its market value after a huge price increase, which is sometes referred to as corrections. Things are not yet assured if I would be asked, and that is an enough reason to not be hasty with your actions regarding your investment. Many networks are now eyeing for this technology's adoption but being a third party network will not fully affect the market since transactions will be always needing fiat convertions. So maybe, further observations are advised.
People shouldnt really be caught up too much with the hype even though the entire market is on the positive side of things in talks to fundamentals but doesnt mean that we would really be shooting up that really fast.
Yeah we did really have some price increase but look at on where the price had stopped? Paypal had already integrated Bitcoin but it isnt really enough to boost it up upto higher levels but this is much better rather than having nothing at all and if Venmo will accept then we cant tell if it can give out some significant impact or not but if several companies will do the same thing then we can expect for some in the positive side but
talking precisely on breaking that 20k ATH barrier then that would really be always a questionable thing because this would surely a very bumpy ride to start on.
4447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did You Face any Problem with BTC Confirmation? on: November 02, 2020, 09:28:07 PM
Did you face any Problem with BTC Confirmation?
I face this problem. a lot of transactions still pending from last 2 weeks. I face a problem 1-time last year. it fixed automatically last time. so I just waiting or what i do Now?

You arent the only one who do face up such delays and we are all having the same experience when it comes to delay transactions. Why? Network is clogged
specially if the price is rising up where lots of people do make out transaction on that specific time. In result? Higher fees which had been a common
problem where fees on that time will surely be that high and if you are willing to pay up much higher fees for faster confirmation then its your choice.
What to do? neither you do add up some fees or just simply wait up for the transaction to push through.
4448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know what bankroll management is in sports betting? on: November 02, 2020, 06:34:46 PM
This are great advice but in my experience even with the great advice in mind it's really hard to apply it in actual gambling and when the greediness of you to win and the urge to win back the losses I don't think it would really hard to remember this things but with practice I think anyone would be able to follow this advice.
When you do already able to get some experience in multiple situations then you might able to realize and able to avoid it in next time.
People wont learn if they wont experience it thats why even telling them will be somewhat useless because people are greedy in nature
but due to strong self discipline this can really be controlled up not only with gambling but also in real life situations where decision
making is important. Management in everything is crucial and needed and if you do like to succeed in sports bet then this one
is one of the qualities that you should have.
4449  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic did push the world towards a more digital age. on: November 02, 2020, 05:27:12 PM
I can say it's true since many online jobs have opened recently and most of us are now working through online. Many people have also invested in digital currencies such as crypto. In education, students are now studying online through zoom, google meet and ms teams. I can clearly say that during this pandemic we advances our skill in digital world.
This is true and yet its happening world wide specially on education side where students do able to know the current platforms when it comes to videocalls/meetings.
It may have some positive effect on that side but we arent wishing for this situation to continue even more.We do need those normal days yet we can still be
knowledgeable to digital age even more even on normal days but its true that this is the time where people do gave out more focus. What options we do had?
4450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: November 01, 2020, 11:18:40 PM
Your friend probably needs counselling or a help of an expert since he’s gambling habits is out of control. Gambling will ruin everything if you let it control you, it shouldn’t be or will never be part of someone’s lifestyle.

I also encountered people that are very addicted to gambling and their life is already in real messed. It really destroys life and family, so before someone wants to engage in this habit should proceed with extreme caution of the consequences.
Everything in life when its already too much then it would really create some devastation into your lives and one of it is gambling. It isnt really bad to get involved with it but doesnt mean that you would go full scale with it when it comes to engagement or too much focus on it.We do live once but doesnt mean that we will live to the fullest into things that do entertain us. Gambling does mean money and once you have lost it all or spent then you would really be having a hard time to recover or continue to live since you wont really have that much to sustain your living which is totally a mess.If you dont like for that thing to happen then better think
up towards your actions.
4451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrowed very important for bounty? on: November 01, 2020, 08:55:43 PM
Almost all projects are cheating and refusing to give tokens at the end of bounty management. It's really sad that hunters work hard but they don't get tokens as a rule..

When the bounty is over, the team is making new plans so that they can easily escape by cheating.

I would like to say to all professional managers that Escrowed is very important and all of you should follow it.

Just in my opinion
Otherwise
1. Hunter will decrease
2. Team cheating step will increase

This had already been said and suggested for years now but nothing has changed. They wont tend to step down and changed up the rules.Team would always have the decision
on what should be done and how things should work. Escrow? its not a guarantee and no one will really be willing to do that. Also, to think that most coins have or doesnt have value
in the first place and if its escrowed and you had been paid up, you sure that you would still make or do able to get value with those coins you had received?
Nothing is assured thats why bounty hunting is shit. Dont make a threat about decrease of bounty hunters yet there are still dumb people whom do continue
on supporting this one.
4452  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price on: November 01, 2020, 07:37:53 PM
What do you think about Bitcoin Price? Will, it again stays below the resistance level?

This question had been beaten out to death not only on 14k but in all levels or resistances that we had in the past but surely it does have one answer.
"No one really knows" when talking about on whats ahead then no man will really able to see on what will happen. Why not try to lurk out on WO thread?
you would really be entertained on how people do love on predicting btc price? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.0  Wink

Also, you should have put up "no one knows" in the poll.
4453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Death during illegal cockfighting raid on: November 01, 2020, 06:51:31 PM
he should just asked someone else to confiscate the chickens.
these roosters are trained all their lives to fight as long it can. as long as it can fight back using its beak the fight in the arena goes on.  since the chicken can still kick, it only mean this is the dominant fighter. shit happens. rip to the police officer.

Who would be the one to confiscate those? They are law enforcers so its just normal that they would be the ones to get those cocks. Its just that police
were just too careless yet those are equipped with blades. If he had been careful on handling it out then he might able to save up his own life.Well,
this do happens and theres nothing you can do when accident do really happen. Feel sad for that police had just wasted up his own life due to
that blade which causes for extreme bleeding. This is also part of the risk when you do really have this kind of job.
4454  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the duck is btc at 13.526,98 USD ? on: November 01, 2020, 06:23:49 PM
Why the duck is btc at 13.526,98 USD ?

I honestly just don't understand bitcoin as a financial instrument/asset ,all financial books tell me that i should never buy bitcoin ..bitcoin it's mind f...king

Finance ,economy, investing books need to be rewritten as all they say in those books ,bitcoin is doing the opposite ...if btc goes 20k Warren Buffet is dead to me ...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTMj4cg64yw

How is it possible ? ( beside whales pumping the price )

"DEMAND"

Main reason on why we here and why it had reached out such value. Fan of reading those financial Books and Idolized those traditional investors or known people into that market?
Dont get blinded too much yet this would really result into missing out such opportunity here on making money with crypto specially with Bitcoin.
Lots say that it is shit, its not a financial asset blah blah and all negative things that can be thrown but look at on where we now? Bitcoin is unpredictable,
it can turn peoples belief upside down and made it to support and we have seen that lots of those perma-bears back in the past had already changed up their
mind now.
4455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest #Bitcoin transaction in history was sent literally just now! on: October 30, 2020, 10:59:58 PM
It's a great time to sell right before the holidays especially with BTC and other popular cryptocurrencies steadily rising in recent times. A billion dollar transaction with such insanely low fees did surprised me.

My green wallet suggests paying $10-11 for a $110 transaction at medium-high speed which is around 10%. Meanwhile, this guy paid a negligible amount for a billion dollar transaction. He sure knows how to save money.

Could be an early adopter or some extremely rich dude. However, calling this the biggest BTC TX is wrong as the poster above suggested though it certain qualifies as one of the biggest ones.

This is the beauty of using up btc where you can send up multi millions or billions without having those ridiculous deduction on where a traditional platform that we have known and this is what it makes different among the rest but somehow this do affect on mini transactions but well this is just an another topic. Its just great to see this one where sending out a billion with less than 5 bucks fees. This one is no doubt a whale or an early adopter.
4456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Death during illegal cockfighting raid on: October 30, 2020, 09:19:17 PM
Well aware about that "tari" or some sharp blade that needs to be worn by a cock for the fight and this is where things do becomes excited and this had been known for decades
on this kind of gambling.Thing here is that they have done it on a very bad situation where crowd shouldnt really be tolerated due to corona virus but those organizers were just
to greedy and decide not to follow up those protocols. In result? its just right for them to be jailed or have some serious amount of fine. Its just sad that one of the
police out there had wasted up his life just because of this illegal gambling operation. Animals shouldnt really be blamed of though because its just natural that they would move
out. The police hadnt just be too careful with those sharp blades.
4457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How far will you go when you sent btc to a site with high fee but... on: October 30, 2020, 08:14:52 PM
Quote
I will just wait and watch, that is all I can do. 😕   -
I can't wait at all, I will ask a mining firm to help me as I can pay more fee.
I will go to the gambling website's support staff and ask them to credit my coins and let me play.
I will double spend it with higher fee to get the next sent transaction confirmed quick, because I want to gamble at any cost.
I will increase the fee as my transaction was RBF.

-It will be most likely the case if you dont plan to pay for more in fee then you would end up into this option.
-Ask a miner? Finding one will already be a hell of a work.  Cheesy
-Its dumb for you to ask out on something that they arent in control.Theres nothing they can do.
-It wont work.
-This is the only valid way i do saw on where someone can make such action. Increase the fee for faster confirmation.
4458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Best Time to sell ? on: October 30, 2020, 07:26:02 PM
You don't need to think much when you are buying something but when you want to sell there is always a fear that what if the price increases?
As a boy belonging to middle-class family, I don't have a large share BTC hodling and now I am unable to figure out what should I do? Here are my few questions......
Should I hold for more time?
Should I buy some more now only or wait if the price dips a bit?

Buy more if you do tend for bitcoin in long term but if you do really mind of on making profit in shorter time then its better to wait for price dip before you do enter.
Its depends into your plan. How long you would tend to hold up? If theres no definite time and do talk if that would be tomorrow then best choice is to wait
for the price dip a bit then buy some amount but doesnt mean that it will automatically rise up.Market isnt predictable for someone to able to make money.
Dont expect that this market is the same as what you think.Sell out when you are greens and dont wait up for anything.
4459  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: October 29, 2020, 11:25:08 PM
I only hope that after this everything will go back to normal.

These practice of increase in price won't go down even after covid-19 pandemic is gone. Is like this because some people have tasted excess of profit from what they have invested, they have had returns in multiple folds so if you want things to go normal, you also understand it is a difficult thing to do.
It wont really be happening on an instant and thats why we do have that government departments which do really took control of prices.
Sellers cant just increase on prices that they do want because it wont really be that appealing nor feasible to see its citizens do suffer on
expensive prices thats why everything should be on control. For now its a bit exception since its quite understandable that transport of
goods and other things are costly amidst of this pandemic and essentials are bit of a demand so its understandable that the price
is somewhat been increased but not on that extreme extent.
4460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If btc > $150k, will you still gamble it? on: October 29, 2020, 10:26:00 PM
Wont matter much if bitcoins price would go to the roof because we can always base off with fiat value even though its already expensive but it wont matter yet majority of
us would do the same.In regards with fees then i doubt that it would really comes back to normal where the entire network had already normalize so it wont really that much
of an issue. > $150k? How i wish we would really be reaching out that level. In that case, some people will really be keen on spending their coins in gambling and rather
do decide to make hold of it due to potential price increase as years goes by.
