4441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: June 20, 2023, 01:51:15 PM
In terms of probability it is clearly different but in terms of opportunity it is certainly the same, even though the conditions for a big club clearly have more advantages over the favorite but they still can't make it seem like the small club isn't there.
Now for the Champions League there could be some unexpected forces. Newcastle with the power of money and their passion to be better or even another club that is not really a favorite there could be several conditions like that during the 2021/22 season for Villarreal and last season for 3 Serie A clubs which were even surprising in the quarter final .
Even though the championship is still about how pots and clubs subscribe in terms of probability but still in terms of surprises for the Champions League, clubs like this with ordinary strength often do it.

If we see it like a team have the chance to become the Champions League champions as long as they haven't been eliminated yet then yes. In this situation we can see it like even the weakest team of the tournament have an opportunity. However I don't think the majority of people would think in this way while assessing the teams that can win the title.

People always look at how strong these teams are. Then they classify what teams can really win this title considering the strength and success factors. Of course not all the time the biggest title contenders win the title. For example Chelsea won the Champions League title in the 2020/2021 season while not many people were giving them a chance. Of course Chelsea are also a top team but they were trailing behind many others you know.

But when we look at the general history of the tournament the champions are nearly always the most performing teams with quality players.
Clubs that are considered to be favorites cannot be said that they will become champions, and small clubs that are considered only dark horse clubs have the opportunity to surprise, as in a football match.
The things that might factor into how we classify them as you said obviously are a consideration of what results we analyze about what will happen in the competition.
All clubs have a chance, it's just how many percent we will give them chances, like for example We will definitely give Manchester City big chances the same as we will give chances to weaker clubs, but the difference is how many points we will give to rate them.
4442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to be blamed, the gambler or the betting agent on: June 20, 2023, 10:37:35 AM
That possibility is a condition where indeed the gambler and the agent really know each other so that they take a risky action when allowing something that has the potential to be like that and indeed that is also evidenced by your words that say regular customers.
Regardless of anything I can't say the agent is also innocent because he is careless but on the other hand, of course it is the gambler who really cannot rely on emotions and acts so stupid by doing things that he cannot face in terms of the consequences and things like this really besides harming yourself and harming others.
4443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without money, the knowledge is a waste on: June 20, 2023, 10:07:33 AM
Imho, knowledge is a waste if you can use that knowledge. Knowing everything does not mean anything. I mean what is the point of knowing theory, when you can use that on practice? Some might operate, that "you never know when you need this and that skill or knowledge", but you can be ready for everything. Life would be boring then. But money is just an instrument to achieve things.

P.S. If knowledge is waste without money, then what is money without knowledge? A toy in fools hand? Necessity?
A good point, a condition that must be realized is when we only stick to books and theory but don't apply it in practice.

Many people are always fixated on conditions where only knowledge is honed so that they become proficient but in other conditions they have nothing in mastery of the field because they have never been there. What.
Not that theory is bad, but indeed being too fixated on theory is also not very good in this regard, considering that sometimes the findings obtained in the field will have some differences that can add mentality and insight that cannot be obtained in theory.
4444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 20, 2023, 08:02:59 AM
I counter the notion that Juventus may not vie for the Scudetto next season. Despite a tough season, they showed grit. Without point penalties, they might've clinched a Champions League spot. Next season? I foresee a top-four finish, not just a Europa League pass. With Vlahovic staying and a few top-notch additions, they're primed for a comeback. Let's believe in Juventus

At the moment, bookmakers see the next season as follows:

Inter 3.00

Napoli 3.50

Juventus 4.33

Ac Milan 6.00

Quite fair assessments in my opinion and I'm glad that even though Napoli is not a favorite, they are taken seriously, and not underestimated as usual. Milan objectively looks worse than all the other teams from the big four.
An assessment which is quite fair now because looking at the current conditions is indeed as you said because even though Napoli are the defending champions there is still no guarantee whatsoever for them at this time.
But looking at the current odds, even though it's quite balanced, I'm not too sure about odds like that. Moreover, saving money with bets in the long term, I'm not too interested in the existing bets.
Even so, it is interesting to predict the Serie A champions next season because all conditions can still occur next season, especially for big clubs.
4445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: June 20, 2023, 05:54:48 AM

Small clubs must have the same opportunities as big clubs, even though the competition is indeed lower, but at least it is a stage for them to be able to show that they can actually develop even though they cannot compete with the big clubs yet, so I agree with you.

The Conference League was created to give clubs who are finding it extremely difficult to qualify for the Europa League or Champions League a chance to experience the atmosphere of European matches. This also gives them a very big opportunity when they become champions, because they get a place to compete in the Europa League for the following season.

How the small teams like Sevilla or Newcastle or other teams can have the same chance as Real Madrid and Manchester City? Just the market value for these two teams and you understand how strong they are and the players they are not comparable with other teams, since they had more investment in there they will obviously get better results too.

In terms of probability it is clearly different but in terms of opportunity it is certainly the same, even though the conditions for a big club clearly have more advantages over the favorite but they still can't make it seem like the small club isn't there.

4446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you handle long shot bets? on: June 19, 2023, 04:32:41 PM
Mindset is important if you have a mindset that you don't want to stress yourself and just want to have fun then yes you can do it, I've done it many times, and still doing it you have to accept that you are in a  gambling platform even if you're wishing that you want to win big money, the house edge can bust your wish, so it's better not to stress yourself and accept the results, having fun should not be stressful.
Accept the results, either losses or profits, correcting one's mistakes and looking for a renounce back to the system. Mindset is the primary aspect that distributes the functions and our abilities in gambling, and I never hold back on any attributes that would make my day stressful, constantly looking for more evaluations. Although winning big does not appear to be as easy as it sounds, an additional effort is required. Gambling has remained the final target for individuals who depend on it for everything, pointing in the direction of stress-free activities, with 100% consideration.
There will be several types of people who come to gambling, there will be people who really aim to have fun, there will be people who come with the intention of winning, that in the end being a gambler becomes stressed because of their own initial goal. Meanwhile, people who from the start are meant to have fun, they will receive whatever the outcome of their gambling is, and winning is a bonus that will make their pleasure even greater.

If someone comes with the intention of winning gambling, then they will chase defeat and that makes them more stressed. Instead of winning they will get instead they will get defeat, because they will always want to return their losses.
4447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: June 19, 2023, 04:11:45 PM
I personally think that the Europa League should be the only tournament together with the Champions League. The appointment of the Conference League should not have taken place, but I also understand that it is a commercial thing. All a lot of turnover for the football association, and in this way very small teams also get the chance to participate in a European round. But the difference in the prize money between all 3 tournaments is of course bizarrely high.

I can't agree with it. The small clubs shall have the same chances to participate in the low tier competition that being created even for the commercial purpose only. The price would not be as high as europa league or even UCL but it can help small team a lot.
It will be so bad if UEFA removes conference league. The small teams with limited budget must also get the same chances as the big teams that are heavily invested by big investors.
There shall not be a differentiation between any clubs. EUFA was making conference league to facilitating the club that placed at the bottom to be able to compete to get low tier trophy in european league competition. It's also helping the club to participate in the higher level of UEFA competitions. I think that you shall see that from another perspective. you shall not only focus on the commercial purpose from conference league.

4448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Questions of the day for gamblers on: June 19, 2023, 03:51:21 PM
Everything even has a technique that can be learned. Even though gambling is synonymous with luck, not everything is based on luck. Like betting on football, you can analyze the players and determine who will win the match. Experience is of course also important, because it will give alerts about what to do with certain types of bets.
Our objective is to make more money from our bets. Gambling is never difficult because it is unpredictable and most of the time meets our analysis. Gambling and luck go hand in hand; sometimes we get lucky, and sometimes we don't. Although it worked for the majority of gamblers in the system, luck is an overstated statement. I don't believe in luck because complicated study is done for the analytical operation for each game I bet on; sometimes my predictions are true, sometimes they aren't, therefore it's understandable to know each portion of gambling stages.
For some bets such as football matches, for example, it can be predicted from the way they play, the record of meetings and the difference in quality of the two clubs that will compete, it looks easy but not as easy as one might imagine, luck is still attached to the bet. It's different with slot games, for example, I believe it's real luck, because technically or skill, what is the skill in slot games? I personally did not find any form of skill related to the game.
In general, I say luck-based gambling, although maybe in some bets you have to have knowledge of the games you are betting on, such as sports betting.
4449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The psychology of betting..... on: June 19, 2023, 03:35:12 PM

Your view of gambling as chilled-out leisure paints an alluring picture but not without risks. Things get messy when the initial excitement of risk-taking turns into a fixation. Saying that only a few gamblers can stay in control is a big understatement. Many studies reveal that most people can't recognize when they've shifted from a good time to an addiction. Their brains link the thrill of the gamble with happiness, complicating quitting. Though gambling for fun with self-restraint seems feasible, it overlooks the potential destruction of addiction. It's essential to highlight that for many, gambling isn't a simple toss-up between enjoyment and gain. It's a psychological trap causing deep financial and emotional issues.

I guess it still depends on the person's gambling habit. If a person is disciplined enough, then there should be little to none to be worried about regarding financial and emotional matters because in the first place, you'll just bet and play with limitation and moderation. Gambling isn't entirely bad. As a matter of fact, some have gambling as their way to detoxify from their problems. It just becomes bad the moment you do it excessively and irresponsibly. Sure, gambling is exciting, thrilling, and fun, but you also have to set boundaries for yourself in order to gain good things and not the bad consequences.
Applying high discipline in life is one way to make life not messy, not to mention in the realm of gambling, it is an important factor that must be mastered. Discipline includes everything related to situations where a person can get out of control which will later bring losses in his life. Certainly in terms of gambling it will be very close to the finances of a gambler.

But applying high discipline is not as easy as doing it, because in theory maybe it will be very easy to understand, but in real action only some people can do it.
4450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 19, 2023, 03:19:37 PM
These days I see news about Zidane linked to Real Madrid and PSG while both teams still have coaches, I think if they fight for Zidane for the next season PSg can have more chance because of the more money they can pay.
Maybe Zidane can make some changes and finally help PSG in the champions league.
Isn't it explained in the news about which team Zidane wants to enter and become a coach next season? Because Zidane himself had experience in coaching Real Madrid before Ancelotti returned to Real Madrid. So it is very possible for Zidane to return to Real Madrid not to PSG even though there is news linking him to PSG, but I am more certain that Zidane will prefer Real Madrid to PSG if it is to become a coach next season.

So, is Zidane all his life only going to coach Real Madrid? I personally don't believe Zidane will return to train Real Madrid but indeed, one day Zidane could return to Real Madrid. But even so, I'm also not sure Zidane is willing to accept the offer to coach PSG because after all, this rumor has been raised for quite a while and there are no signs of Zidane coaching PSG. Therefore, because in the past when Zidane was still a player, that Zidane had also played at Juventus, I personally think that maybe Zidane will choose Juventus over PSG.
These rumors have been going on for a long time and until now there has been no confirmation from Zidane's side whether he will join a club in the near future or he is waiting for the one he really wants to join. Zidane is one of the coaches who have been talked about a lot, but he doesn't seem interested in responding to the rumors that have linked him about the club wanting to sign him. It seemed he still wanted to let this rumor get into a wild ball without any clarity. Neither Real Madrid nor Paris Saint Germain or any other club have managed to get him, I'm sure it's been a mature consideration that he's been thinking about during his time off from the coaching bench.
4451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 19, 2023, 03:04:14 PM
Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton Twon FC will be the new colors in the English Premier League next season, yes the three clubs will replace the positions of Leicester City, Leeds United and Southampton who have failed to save themselves from being relegated this season. I hope the 3 promoted clubs next season will be able to compete with the clubs already in the Premier League waiting for them. Much better if they can compete in the top flight with other big clubs like Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United.

I would say Chelsea was quite unlucky throughout last season.  Of course, we all know that every club would experience the same at least once in a decade. So for now it will make no sense if we keep pressing on the "WHY" of Chelsea's condition.
Many keep talking about Potter and Todd Boehly as the sole cause of the club's predicament while few speak about the way forward. I'm more worried about how the new chelsea would be in the next season, seeing that the club is already showing signs of a bad start by planning on selling Covasic and Kante.
I want to see them progress, which means they don't have to be the best, but they provide enough development that makes us believe that they will be ready to get up and compete in the coming season. Blaming a number of people who are said to be the cause of Chelsea's decline this season is not a solution but it will make the atmosphere worse. I hope they don't attack each other and blame each other, but improve overall it's better to rebuild the team for next season.
4452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 19, 2023, 02:49:47 PM
Of course they have considered this, when they spend a lot of money to bring in a star player, they will quickly return to "capital" by selling merchandise and so on. Previously, I personally also rarely heard of and watched Arab League matches, but with the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, I slowly became interested, yes, even though maybe it was only a few matches and there were more club matches involving Ronaldo. And when the other players come to catch up indirectly maybe it will be interesting for those who previously only watched Al Nassr and now it is even wider.

The finances of the Arab League clubs are sufficient so that they can afford to buy players at fantastic prices.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo has had a huge impact on the Saudi Arabian Pro League and many of us are now paying attention to the games they host. Can't imagine if Messi was there to make everything perfect. Benzema, Kante and another rumor, namely Ziyech, will soon follow.

In fact, whoever the players who were brought in from Europe and Saudi Arabia comply, there will be no doubt about the salary and facilities that will be provided later. I firmly believe that Saudi Arabia wants to move up the rankings of their league to make it more desirable. Now that has been proven and many European players have moved there, as recently Rúben Neves was successfully brought to Al Hilal headquarters with contacts until June 2026.
The Arab League will get many things when they bring in many players who are labeled as top players, starting from broadcasting rights and so on. That is a small part of the profits they will get and many more such as sponsors and things that will benefit them.
Lionel Messi would indeed be a complement if only he really went to Arabia to join one of the clubs there, but his decision has now been confirmed that he will go to Miami and join the squad there.
But now new names have appeared who are rumored to be going to Arab and there are already confirmed players who have made an agreement and have received signatures, like Benzema for example.
4453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 19, 2023, 12:21:58 PM

Like I said yesterday, it's not only about winning, making money is part of it. And to be realistic, no one can underestimate Dortmund in Bundesliga, so if they are interested in making more money than winning, it's their choice but all this is still guesswork as I don't expect any club to be thinking of money-making alone. Also for the record, they tried so well this season, after all, they ended the season with the same points as Bayern Munich, only that Bayern got there earlier than them.

This season and many other seasons that Dortmund did not win were still spectacular, they always prove that they are a viable contender, and one day they shall win the trophy again.
I have said this many times, that business and football cannot be separated, but how do they place between those 2 needs, achievement and money. If they prioritize too much about money, then they will place achievements that may not be the main target. Whereas when they focus on achievement I think the money will follow by itself, for example there will be many big sponsors coming in and so on.

If you don't want to prioritize one of the two things, then they should do something balanced and move simultaneously between focusing on achievement and business. There is no reason for a club to say it can't do that, because they have people who have abilities in their respective fields and are not only managed by one person.
4454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 19, 2023, 11:47:56 AM
Definitely the Saudi league will get tougher, more competitive and interesting to watch because of the quality players coming in; the likes of Benzema, Kante, Ziyech and many more still lining up for a possible move to Saudi. Seeing the much impact Ronaldo’s transfer to Saudi made, I believe the signing of Benzema and other big names will surely be a boost to the league’s quality and prestige.
I see this as an advantage for both parties, because on the one hand, the players will get a lot of money from the salary they receive, and maybe with such a high salary it will not run out until they decide to hang up their boots. While on the other hand, the club will also benefit from his arrival, one of which is that the club's prestige will increase and get a lot of spectacles, especially from fans of star players who have successfully joined to strengthen the club. Ronaldo's arrival opened the door for other stars to join Arab clubs
Of course they have considered this, when they spend a lot of money to bring in a star player, they will quickly return to "capital" by selling merchandise and so on. Previously, I personally also rarely heard of and watched Arab League matches, but with the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, I slowly became interested, yes, even though maybe it was only a few matches and there were more club matches involving Ronaldo. but at least we don't increase the proportion in gambling or depositing which makes it a differentiator because we know the limits.

yes, when we understand the limits of what we are capable of. indirectly we have minimized the risk of losses that could continue to occur.
this is quite difficult to suppress for those who are already heavily addicted to gambling. usually, those who are very focused on one game. because I have friends who play online card gambling. and he always plays it never anything else. he gambles almost every day, I don't know where the money he gets from but he always gets money for deposit.
Actually there are many people like that, he gambles every day without doing any other work and logically we would definitely question where he gets the money because seeing his daily life he doesn't seem to be working or doing something that will make money later. But I wouldn't think negatively about it, because maybe he has a job that we don't know about. But the problem is when a person does things that justify any means to fulfill his need to gamble, such as making loans or other things that will result in him losing more than what he did while gambling.
4456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: June 19, 2023, 09:38:24 AM

The longer the breath we take, the more we are carried away by the atmosphere of gambling, that's what I feel, and for me it's actually dangerous when we get late and don't realize it all. One other thing that I feel is (I am a smoker) and when I know that I have consumed a lot of cigarettes then at the same time I have been carried away by emotions. There may be many different experiences, and I usually deal with them by pausing and then taking a breath so that I can return to self-control and not get carried away by my emotions.

We have to be in good self-control, and for me the mind is the center of control and so far I can handle that and stay within a certain limit that I can't go over.
Exactly, good self-control is what we need to go back and focus and not being bothered much by that certain emotions, it can lead us to make more mistakes and push our aggressions if we continue following such adrenaline, better to have that kind of gesture to let remind yourself in what to do in pausing for a while and be back when you are settle and ready to start it again.

Gambling is more about following your emotions. The more you can limit yourself, the better chance that you won't commit mistakes.
This is the point where indeed restrictions are very important because indirectly when this can be controlled, indirectly we will also minimize addiction or losses a little. Even though we know that there are basically losses, at least we can minimize this so that it is not too severe.
Indeed, in terms of addiction, maybe we are also still categorized like that even though it is in the category of mild addiction, but at least we don't increase the proportion in gambling or depositing which makes it a differentiator because we know the limits.
4457  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can anyone Predict What's going on crypto market? on: June 19, 2023, 07:21:03 AM
There's nothing really difficult when we talk about predictions because it's just a matter of speculation that we cover with research and data from several previous conditions when we talk about progress or other things.
Everyone can make predictions because that is just an opinion, while what is difficult in this case is to prove that the predictions we are making are correct.
We have to realize that when we talk about speculation, it's indirectly 50/50 because losing is not right, it's wrong.

Including crypto and predictions, even though we really don't know what the future will be like in the end, but when it comes to predictions, it can be done, and I'm still confident about crypto, especially bitcoin, regardless of what the future will be like, but I'm quite sure with my prediction at least this still has good progress

Regardless of whether there is a debate or not, it doesn't matter because this is my prediction.
4458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 19, 2023, 05:45:20 AM
The reality is sometimes not that simple. Being able to compete or not, of course, must be seen from a number of actual conditions, even if the players make a sizable contribution but must pay attention to other conditions.
This season is proof that conditions other than players have an effect because Bayern's conditions this season actually provide something different and are quite tense, especially when competition is held even until the match ends.
But it all comes back the same in the end, saying Dortmund can compete or not at the moment it seems with their conditions, they are only focused on second place and nothing else can really be done when Bayern really get back to their good form.
The only thing Dortmund can achieve is to finish just behind Bayern Munich and that has been going on since the 18/19 season. It has been very consistent for Dortmund and they have repeatedly failed to win the bundesliga title in that time interval. Dortmund will always be able to compete with Bayern Munich and this is a fact in plain sight. I think it's just a matter of next season whether Dortmund will continue to consistently occupy second place or manage to break the curse and become the Bundesliga champion, only time can tell.
As far as I remember 2020/2021 the second position belongs to Leipzig.
But indeed they only lasted one season because after that Leipzig did something that was beyond predictions by giving players and coaches to Bayern.
On the other hand, for Dortmund, I still see that this season they put a lot of pressure because there was nothing like that in previous seasons. and this season is different because Bayern are not playing too well giving Dortmund more opportunities.
Next season might not be the same as this season but of course the hope is that something interesting like this season will happen again next season.
4459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 19, 2023, 05:10:36 AM
Ancelotti will stay at Real Madrid, maybe he will still spend the rest of his contract at this club and after that announce what the next steps are, of course Real Madrid will also try to convince this experienced coach to stay at the club before finally looking for a replacement who can also still makes Real Madrid a successful club in many competitions. If Ancelotti still chooses Real Madrid and Brazil looks for another coach, Ancelotti will still be in demand by many clubs because his experience is a guarantee that he will be able to provide success for the clubs he will coach.

It seems quite obvious to me that Ancelotti will remain at the club - in the end, with the crisis Real (in the crisis of which he is not to blame at all), he reached the semi-finals of the Champions League and even lost La Liga, but overall it was a good year. If he had such results with the transfers that he requested and would have received, then it would be a different matter, but Mbappe remained at PSG and Real refused to fight for Haaland.
And I do not believe that Ancelotti himself can leave (without dismissal or not renewing the contract) from Real to the national team (of any country). Club football >> national team football if we are talking about top clubs.
Now some conditions seem a bit different. The news that Ancelotti is leaving though is not for now and it is likely that this will happen in 2024 for his talk of going to Brazil it seems like this does not guarantee anything for now for him to stay and go because with this condition especially with the confidence of the CBF who are quite confident in saying that Ancelotti will be there in 2024 of course Madrid should have some options on this.
At least preparing some names from now on is better in my opinion.
4460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 19, 2023, 04:36:07 AM
So Ancellotti will go to Brazil and he will probably end his coaching career with a national team.
Who will be the next Real Madrid coach?

Nagelsmann or Zidane again?
For now, I see some of the hot news these days about Ancelotti and some statements from the CBF.
CBF confidently say that they will sign Ancelotti but some time ago I read that it's a certainty but they won't be able to sign Ancelotti before 2024 and maybe, after January 2024 it will be possible and there is other news that it will happen in June 2024.
This means that now Ancelotti is still able to provide the remaining strength he served in Madrid.
As for the trainer, I hope there will be something even better. Zidane is one that I hoped for.
