4441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 30, 2020, 10:31:22 AM
6 games tomorrow but there are some good handicaps.

Cavs +9.5 @ 2.0 vs Raptors Mark Gasol and Hollis-Jefferson both will not play for this game.

Hawks +6.5 @ 2.1 vs 76ers Mike Scott and Al Horford are both questionable.

GSW +12.5 @ 1.89 vs Celtics this can be a win. Tatum with groin injury and Kanter with hip injury both are out for the game.

Clipper vs Kings +12.5 @ 1.85 George and Beverly are both questionable to play but there is still a possibility.

Put your bets.
I didn't mention 2 games because those may become good matches and is difficult to predict.
4442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 5 Predictions For Cryptocurrencies In 2020 on: January 30, 2020, 08:39:11 AM
Quote
The number 1 prediction of the top 5 cryptocurrency predictions of 2020 involves Ethereum. At the time of writing, Ethereum is valued at $144.24. However, 2020 could be a massive year for the crypto asset as there is already over 3 million ETH locked in DeFi (Decentralized Finance) on the network, with many industry folks stating that DeFi is the most exciting topic of the year

Here is one good proof of it.
The time he wrote it was $144 and now it was at freaking $175 and gaining more daily.
Thank God I didn't forget to buy those ETH when it was still lat $130.
Now, I will still wait for ETH 2.0 and we might see more hype that will come around which I think will be normal.
That is a huge change for Ethereum.
4443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: David Chaum's XX Coin on: January 30, 2020, 06:47:38 AM
They are still on their ICO stage. I wonder why they only used signature campaign for their promotional marketing for the xx coins. I just saw their signature campaign launched today and the rates is quite good. I think they should also launch a campaign in altcoins for social campaign and other useful medium such as youtube to gain and attract more investors. ICO nowadays hasnt trusted much so they needed enough boost.
It looks like a good move for them.
Some of the users here doesn't really know about him or it.
Now, I am reading more about it.
The signature campaign haven't even started and its all working out fine.

A good way to attract more investors and maybe to scatter everything in social media.
Yeah, signatures does really work and we are seeing the fruit now.
4444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee called BITCOIN as a Shitcoin! on: January 30, 2020, 03:42:58 AM
The guy is being hyped because of his shills of altcoins and being a "con" artist. Convicted artist?  Grin
And we are biting it?
Look how deep is the digging we had to make just to know him better.
I don't really like it but he is good at making people angry and that what makes him more viral.

I guess it ain't about being bad or good anymore in social media.
They can take anything and be interested even with statements that are bullshits.
4445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 30, 2020, 02:54:25 AM
It will be a different playoffs now for the Bucks as Giannis can shoot threes now.
The question is, if he will be given a good looks, their opponent knows his capabilities, last playoffs the Raptors put good defense on Giannis but putting two defender on him and sometimes even 3 and that made him struggle, so as the whole team.

There is a difference.
Try to look at replays of the past year.
The defense of the Raptors back then is 3 players waiting at the painted area.
They are leaving him in the three point line. Letting him shoot for a smaller percentage to make it.
Now, they will need 1 player to defend him on the three point line. That means more space for the painted area while other team mates could be free.
His passing ability should also be improved.

And then levelling up like Lebron, might take lots of games though, to see him carrying the ball and orchestrating the offense from the outside, but everything is in baby steps for him and the Bucks.
To level with Lebron, Giannis has to prove that he can win championship first, if they will be more successful this season and win in the East and will happen that Bucks and Lakers will face in the finals, then that's the time to prove he can level by defeating the king.
Experience and proof. That is what Lebron made for his history to be in the books now.
Giannis needs more of that.
It is also a different era now and he could be the future of it while Lebron may become the next who will be sitting on the sidelines watching them play.
But, that may take more years. He is really not showing any weakness now.  Grin
4446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Silence on: January 29, 2020, 12:54:13 PM
That is one great story.
I love it.
I am sorry I lack the sMerits to give you. I have not much in my account. I hope you appreciate even just 1.
Thank you for the nice story.

I then realized at the end I have the same sad story as yours.
But I didn't stop at cultivating my friends with information even just little by little.
Somehow it did work.

Yes, we could stay in silence but after some time it suffocates you. You just want to share it with someone.
Well, thanks to this forum we could do that. We can share with co-bitcoin enthusiast which also understands us.
But there is a difference when you explain it physically with someone. Emotions will burst out.

Good luck to everything that you will do.
4447  Economy / Speculation / Re: What set of conditions can crash blockchain or bitcoin to zero USD? on: January 29, 2020, 11:21:35 AM
I have read some good points but I have my own.
Lack of support will the first one.

Examples are the alternative coins. They became just because they are forgotten or nothing is buying it anymore.
Some may say it is the shut down of internet but that won't happen. That just means there is a world war going on if internet cannot be provided anymore.
Electricity have so many alternatives by now so take that out.

Yeah, that summarize it. Lack of support.
4448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 29, 2020, 10:07:35 AM
Everyone keeps focusing on Giannis when it comes to Bucks but you guys are forgetting they have one of the best coaches in the league right now. Coach Bud has literally taken Atlanta Hawks to a 60+ win season and top seed even tho they eventually lost, he also took over for Bucks just last year and made an insane change from a year ago and now they have taken another step. I am not saying Giannis doesn't play a role in this, you have to be an idiot to say that, Giannis is their star and responsible for almost everything but Coach Bud would take this team without Giannis to at least playoffs as well, he is that good.

That is true. No doubt.

Because of that the team learned so much including Middleton. Suddenly his confidence grew and became of the players that should be defended well or else it will be a score.
Bledsoe on the other is still unknown. He works well but there are times when his inconsistency is showing.
How about Lopez? Sure does changed a lot.

Mike Budenholzer changed a lot with the gameplay of the Bucks.

Any news about the Clippers locker room ruckus?
I have heard Stephen A once and it looks like it might be real. But there are still doubts that it might be the exact story.
There might still be something behind it.
4449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I YOLO'ed into a snap purchase of LTC tonight!!! on: January 29, 2020, 05:20:31 AM

I know, I know, just HODL and it'll rise eventually.  Yes, but sometimes I lack patience, especially when I just threw an additional $2000 of debt on the credit card.

One of our sickness when we are using money which ain't really on our ownership. i.e. loan  Grin

Well, you better add more patience.
Alts are now waving up like a tsunami. There must be an earthquake down the ocean.
Ethereum is also gaining much.
I bought at $130 and look at where it is now? Yes! So exciting to see if you are winning. But I want more!! Should I?
4450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 29, 2020, 02:46:28 AM
Will the bucks winning streak be stop tonight?

Giannis has been ruled out against the Wizards, this is the time where Wizards can take advantage.
Who are talking Wizards to win straight up in this game.

source : https://nba.nbcsports.com/2020/01/28/giannis-antetokounmpo-out-for-bucks-wizards-shoulder/

Monsters still came out of their closets.  Grin
Bledsoe and Middleton combined is already 62 points. It is almost garbage time now.
This should happen more.
Even with Giannis around they should always have the same game.

Gianni's absence can't be considered as an advantage to the Wizards. Bucks are still great, especially in front of their home crowd, even without Giannis on the floor.

That is true. There is so much power in their court by now.
Fans are helping for an aim to the championship.
4451  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 WEEKLY COMPETITIONS, fast bets BTC LTC ETH DOGE on: January 29, 2020, 01:57:21 AM
I like all these ideas, but personally I'm most excited about the PvP Lottery with a short-ish timeframe (like 1-3 hours), or multiple lotteries with different timeframes to suit everyone, and Keno. Cheesy  Keno is super addicting, for me at least.

I've looked at some sites and I saw keno rounds that are per-player. The game reveals the numbers and done. What about a more social game, with "shared rounds", like every 30 seconds? So that numbers are being drawn for all the players and you can see other players placing bets? Plus some progressive jackpot? Could it be more fun?

Okay, that is more fun. You really hit the right note.  Grin
I don't want to be playing alone. There should be a "competition like" that is happening.
Putting myself in emotion to envy them and be better the next game.

I have my pet numbers all ready.  Grin
4452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No shill, just news. on: January 28, 2020, 01:14:31 PM
Imagine, if you have a rich family of yours, and you consider not taking their last name with you, people might see that you are separated with the family, someone that is not a member of the rich family you have. In some other times, having the same last name even if you aren't really connected by blood still makes an impact to the connection or relationship you have. I short, cryptocurrency forked from bitcoin and attached the name of bitcoin to their new crypto aims to inherit some of the trust of the people that is provided to bitcoin, and to somehow say that they have the same characteristics of bitcoin but with a bit of improvement. In simple terms, for the sake of demand.

Yeah I get that.
The problem though is this coin didn't came from a fork.

They are even freaking using the BTC with just a green background.
That is not really good.
We should really put more efforts into reminding newbies where to put their money with or else we can see more haters of bitcoin coming around.
Just a prevention of being a victim with this kind of marketing strategies.
4453  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 WEEKLY COMPETITIONS, fast bets BTC LTC ETH DOGE on: January 28, 2020, 12:33:53 PM
We have been discussing where to go with YOLOdice next, and I want your opinion about it. I have no plans to convert YD into a "game hub", but one or two extra games to kill time would be fun. And we want your feedback before starting coding!

2. Any other game - there are number of games out there. Do you think we could implement any? Keno, growing multiplier games, slots... There are many, but how fun are they really?

Cheers,
Ethen

Keno is like a short time lottery right?
That would be fun. I don't want to wait for so much time waiting for the lottery to end.
Most of them take days but I want it like just 1 - 2 hours maybe for every round.

The problem though is how much will be playing.
But I guess the prize will also depend on that. So it is okay. There are many players in Yolodice and they might really want something new while their dices are working on their own.  Grin
4454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No shill, just news. on: January 28, 2020, 11:10:42 AM
You do know that this IS a shill, right? I mean sure it is an update but it not news;) News is something of impact to all people not just for a particular company or industry but anyway,,, I believe in spreading your risk, not just on one big guy like Binance.

Oh and agree. If you have Bitcoin in your alt's name, you are a scam. simple.

Didn't I just tell that from the start? I know nothing from the coin.
If it is a shill then lots of explanation could have been seen from it including features.
I just want to warn newbies on not buying the wrong coins specially one with bitcoin in its name.

So how should I post it without saying the name of the coin?
This *** is making a *** for the sake of ***?
Is that how it should be?

I tried to lessen on how the name will be told and even not input it in the title.
Could you teach me how to not make it look like a shill? Maybe you do know how.
4455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / No shill, just news. on: January 28, 2020, 06:05:44 AM
So I had been staying in Mercatox just looking at the trades.
Yeah, despite of Binance being at the top I still want to see how other trading websites are working their magics.

Recently one coin had been added.
I just hate it when people use the "Bitcoin" name for their coins.
There are a lot of words out there. Why not use them? Be unique.
The problem is because newbies might confused this for bitcoin and looking at the cheap price they might really bite that bait that was thrown.
I don't know about anything about the coin so you could judge it.
Market is still low and I don't think it will get any higher.

https://mercatox.com/news/bxc-added
Ticker is BXC which might really get confusing and the name is Bitcoin Classic. What?!!
Newbies, be really careful with what  you buy.

You could also enlighten me of what is it about. I don't want to make efforts digging more for it might be just a waste of time.
I'd rather read comments here.
4456  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC could reach 6 figures (rational explanation) on: January 28, 2020, 04:32:49 AM

But guys, let me be clear. I don't want to ignite FOMO. Be very careful with your investments & don't put more money than you can. There is stil a possibility that everything can go to hell. No one knows. Im just talking theory here. Reality might be much more complex.

What do you guys think?  Huh Roll Eyes

Thank you for pointing that out since we still have a lot of guys who have that kind of emotion.
It needs to be stopped.
It ain't really about the 6 figures which should happen, it is about bitcoin having a better value.
Something that will be supported by the mass and not just those who want to make profit out of it.
Usage is actually the best thing that could happen.

If only more merchants would look at the same way then bitcoin might be a blast by now.
6 figures is always possible and so does 2 and 3.
4457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 28, 2020, 03:41:12 AM

I'm still trying to convince myself that "this is not real". I'm hoping it's just another fake news spreading as usual in social media. I've seen first some of Kobe's links about the tragedy on my social media group chats that's why I think it's just another day of fake news. But when I browse my news feed, oh my, this is f**cking real. I was shocked as just recently his name was on the sports news as LeBron passes him on the all-time scoring list.

We are not related to Kobe but as a long-time NBA enthusiast and witness his greatness during his prime, we really feel the pain. Just imagine how much more to the one who was inspired by him and keeping in touch with him.

No words can describe what's the feeling. Much painful to Bryant's family that not even the head of their family, but a young girl, full of dreams, was also killed.

Big condolences too for the other family that dies on the crash. I can't imagine the pain they are dealing with.

After reading this. I cried again.
I have the same thought when I read it. I see it all as fake news. I don't want to believe it.
I thought I was okay this morning having a good night sleep from all the crying yesterday.

Anyways, Kobe will want us to move on but never forget about him and all his lectures for the world.
His inspirational phrases for working hard with everything we do specially the ones that we love to do.

Quote
"When we are saying this cannot be accomplished, this cannot be done, then we are short-changing ourselves. My brain, it cannot process failure. It will not process failure. Because if I have to sit there and face myself and tell myself, 'You're a failure,' I think that is a worse, that is almost worse than death."
Of course his acts too, inspiring those young basketball enthusiast to pursue their dreams and never let it go just because of one failure.
I would love to see new players with the same kind of love for basketball just like him.
4458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the most popular cryptocurrencies for investors? on: January 27, 2020, 12:41:35 PM
Looking at the graph it all looks like bitcoin to me.

We are talking about investing here and not trading.
Because if we do, then Tether will be on the first list of it. It had the more usage but the problem is there is no movement.
Investors would not like that but traders do for means of safety whenever needs withdrawal.

Other coins though like BNB found a huge market thanks to the hype of their exchange.
The price of it suddenly blew up making more investors buy it without any doubts.
4459  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2020 price predictions on: January 27, 2020, 11:18:29 AM

Marc P. Bernegger, Fintech investor at Crypto Finance: " Min: $22,000 and Max: $55,000 "

I was a little amazed by how this one is so positive about the market of bitcoin.
Looking at the price, even with the minimum that he wants to happen is just difficult to reach.
Well, it is a prediction so better make it as far as possible.
What if it does happen?

$15k is my range before the end of the year. After that, it will be mayhem once again.
We won't really see much now but just full of prediction and might not reflect to the price.
4460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 27, 2020, 07:47:35 AM
Dear basketball is sort of chilling to watch after him passing on.
https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6gkjqd
Never watched the oscar winning short film he got awarded for a couple of years ago until today.
R.I.P Mamba

It is a nice tribute film to your legacy. Fly high 4ever.
I watched that short film live when they are celebrating Kobe.
It already gave me the chills that day. I had goosebumps back then.

But as I watched it again now, it is like all my hair in my body is being pulled out.
Really, that guy gave so much inspiration with kids to push their limits into giving their all for basketball.

He entertained me, gave me hopes that I could see another "Kobe" in the making.
He is really something else.
Although we have a lot of good players now, his style can never be mimicked. He has something that is special, a unique art of playing basketball.
It is because of his love for the game.
I miss him already.  Cry
