4441  Economy / Economics / Re: Will banking system in Bangladesh collapse? on: July 03, 2021, 03:34:26 PM
You have kept saying here without mentioning your country or location. I don't know of the country still on such severe lockdown as you put it but I believe bank is very important to daily lives and anything that will affect it's total closure will amount into more severe, dangerous and chaos situation. Banks provide essential service of providing cash flow around the system and so the government are wise and knowledgeable not to have a total closure of means to financial transaction because both in health , illhealth or death, financial transaction must go on.

4443  Economy / Economics / Re: What role will Bitcoin play in the face of superpowers in the future? on: July 03, 2021, 12:48:37 PM
This is an independent asset that you are talking about and no government has control over it but to follow the bitcoin move. Governments including the superpowers are to go the bitcoin crypto way. This is why the governments are trying to develop a crypto currency that they can run to in direct exchange of their local currency and not to give preeminence to bitcoin but unfortunately the fight of regulation can't be worn by any government. Super powers are still under the global wave of crypto currency.

Elon Musk is an individual investor and he certainly bought a lot of Dogecoins. That's the reason he tweeted about it. His work easily gives DOGE a value boost and is more profitable than he tweeted about Bitcoin or ETH.
[/quote]

It is obvious that where your money is , that is where your treasure is. Yes he bought a lot of doge coin and he has been tweeting positive for the coin. After the SNL has gone, he kept supporting with more tweet by even having a negative tweet about bitcoin that dropped the price. At the inception of the bitcoin drop, many thought that dogecoin will disappear but it has moved with the bitcoin and other altcoins like ethereum.
4445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if US ban cryptocurrencies? on: July 01, 2021, 01:57:04 PM
It is not possible for a government to ban cryptocurrency, because it doesn't exist in physical form. Despite the name "coin", cryptocurrency exists in the form of codes written in various computer languages such as C++ and Haskell. It is not possible to destroy these codes, once they are written. And in order to access the coins, the user needs another set of codes (private key). Once again, the government can't ban or seize these codes, since they exist only in digital form. And unlike bank accounts and demat accounts, these codes don't have any direct link with the user.

Yes you are saying based on the title of ops post. Op should say maybe banning of exchanges in there jurisdiction like UK have announced on binance. Definitely it won't be possible to ban cryptocurrency and no government can do such. They can only restrict users in there home or country not to indulge but people will still find means to it. cryptocurrency can't be banned only exchanges.
4446  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump regrets not banning twitter as he hails Nigerian government for doing so on: July 01, 2021, 12:48:22 PM

My issue is that the same rule is not applied when Mahathir Mohammed makes a tweet supporting genocide.

This is not a case of tweeter going around there system to check on posts to bring down but it depends on the users who make report on the post or posts. The posts have to be reported and not just a report but a series of report for tweeter to move to check the post. Tweeter has it rules and regulations for guide on people to post and if violated via report, then the rules will be applied. Also every other platforms including our noble forum (bitcointalk.org) has a button or a place where report is made poyor activated by clicking on it. For the forum here, this is an example

As about the Nigerian President post, it was reported severally by people who didn't like the idea in the post and tweeter has to do a check on the post and the rules has to be considered. Likewise every other media platforms, they have rules and regulations as guide to users.
4447  Economy / Speculation / Re: Germany is about to allow legally the funds to invest in crypto, from July 1st on: July 01, 2021, 10:46:37 AM
This is already a positive news that Germany to invest 20% . This will surely create an interest to join in the European zone. Germany being the voice that is strong in Europe both in technology and economy, it won't be hard for other European countries to toll this line.
4448  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it good to allow Black Money to be whiten by investing in Stock? on: July 01, 2021, 06:46:58 AM
Black money is actually money surreptitiously made that isn't accountable to the government and such money because they are hidden money, they are not taxed. Perpetrators of such are always people who are in government or connected to the government. Corrupt government are always culprit of black money.

Quote
Are these the ones we call blood money too?

No, they are no where related if you are really serious on that concerning blood money.

Quote
Blood money, compensation paid by an offender (usually a murderer) or his kin group to the kin group of the victim. In many societies blood money functions to prevent the continuation of hostilities in the form of a feud

This explains a thing further on the blood money as being money paid to either placate bereaved family on the blood or death of their own.

Again in my own view, blood money apart from being a title of a movie in Nigeria depicting I'll gotten wealth from shielding of blood and killing, is money gotten from involving usually from  money made by spilling of human blood or "rituals"
4449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best indicators for this situation? on: June 30, 2021, 07:58:40 PM
You have a whole lot of indicators you have listed there and I want to ask if you use them at same time ? They can be confusing like is already much in my eyes and I think much indicators may not contribute so much if the trader doesn't know exactly how to use them , that is why it is difficult when market isn't following up to them. It is difficult to trade because you can't predict direction.
4450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin Questionnaire on: June 30, 2021, 02:52:54 PM
I was expecting to see an information concerning what you have to say about the future of bitcoin, just to get your own view on your questionnaire or survey. By the way this research was done by only you providing these information or you made holistic enquiry on the questionnaire to people you don't know from the beginning.
4451  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price will increase on: June 30, 2021, 12:51:16 PM
The current price for this time is $34,642 and looking bull at the time. Last week it dropped but picked up this week and that means the price won't be stable. Bitcoin is a highly fluctuating currency because it is decentralized, you can have different orders from multiple exchanges which is the reason for that kind of fluctuation. The price ranges and drops as it gets demanded. Many speculating bear but in the bear you also see bull and gains.
4452  Economy / Exchanges / Re: British Financial watchdog FCA bans Binance crypto-currency exchange on: June 28, 2021, 02:04:04 PM
I guess the whole issue surrounding the ban is about making binance register with FCA which is a regulatory body. The UK is also warning people to be careful with cryptocurrency which is still considered as speculatory. They are seeking to regulate the activities of binance and perhaps the pupolarity of cryptocurrency is fast growing and they want a kind of regulation.
4453  Economy / Economics / Re: Binace Markets, subsidiray of Binance, banned from operating in UK on: June 28, 2021, 12:35:14 PM

What I think I heard was that this only applies to crypto derivatives and not crypto itself--but someone correct me if I'm wrong.  I didn't read the link yet, as I just woke up.

With that I think is the exchange operation in UK that has been ban but the exchange is giving information that it won't affect the bitcoiners in UK. Anyway, I understand Binance is a very big exchange and huge presence in a country as a centralised exchange but the UK government is yet to restrict other exchanges from operation there, so the people can still go on with other exchanges.
4454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Cryptocurrency is best for long term investment? on: June 28, 2021, 11:06:52 AM
I believe Ethereum will be a good profiting coin in the long time because it's platform keeps being used by many projects. Another is BnB. BnB has a very active community and the CEO keeps working hard to promote and guard his business. Binance is one of the biggest exchanges and that is BnB strong advantage.

Will Bitcoin survive ?

You asked this question and I ask, why will bitcoin not survive  Grin Huh You are a bitcoinlegend and you should know.

Before the future 10 years to come, bitcoin has survived past 10-11 years ago.The early years when bitcoin was below a dollar and when Laszlo Hanyecz used 10,000 bitcoin to buy mere pizza was the teething stage for bitcoin not anymore.

https://news.bitcoin.com/10000-financial-institutions-customers-buy-sell-hold-bitcoin-bank-accounts/

Now the banks are beginning to look into the option of bitcoin in transactions and also more bitcoin ATM are springing out in America. You see that with all that bitcoin is not going anywhere. Grin
4456  Other / Archival / Re: Why is it a waste of time and money to buy ready-made trading strategies? on: June 28, 2021, 06:20:20 AM
You also know everyone won't be professional in trading just like everyone won't be a professional in the area they make their source of living because there is what is called partnership in business.

Some people don't know how to trade but they have the desire to make money from it and can follow people who are in it as they have the capacity and capital, so they can even pay someone to use their strategy. A business company sells shares, employees other professionals to run the business and sometimes the real ideas to the business don't come from the owner. Trading can be another way to diversify your business or investment not necessarily that you have to be a professional but can still make money with little idea.
4457  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Prediction for 2024 on: June 27, 2021, 09:56:30 PM
Just a calculated Prediction: Crypto Market will be worth $8 Trillion in Sept, 2024.

Ethereum Price: $14,136

BNB Price: $2,176

What do you think about my prediction?

I'm interested in the above two coins. If you put Ethereum this high above BnB, what is the rational behind it? BnB looks good to get to $10,000 with that Ethereum at $14,136 , I mean you can check the current price for the two and the difference. Also bnb is having more projects and listing on the exchange, that is a good reason for pricing it up to $10,000 and not that you peg it at $2,176.
4458  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Central Banks on: June 27, 2021, 07:39:59 PM
This post is very long and I advise you make shorter next time.

But are you saying bitcoin is not worth hodling or worthless or something? That BnB and Eth are preferable than bitcoin? No, I don't think you know what a decentralised asset bitcoin is which is a big advantage that you have underestimated.
4459  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Weekly Dead Cat Bounce ending, $10K price target coming soon. on: June 27, 2021, 02:36:57 PM
You just made a random guess of bitcoin price without trace to your source, no graphics to show for it so that your analysis can be better explained and debated on to. You can't get your dreams somewhere and put it out here even if it is going to happen, you need some graphics or chart for it.
4460  Economy / Economics / Re: Real Inflation only happens when Central Banks print High Denominated Notes? on: June 27, 2021, 11:53:05 AM

For example in Zimbabwe I see kids carrying notes in their pockets displaying on them $10 Trillion Zimbabwe dollars. These poor starving kids are trillionaires much richer than the richest billionaires like Elon Musk and Bill Gates on the planet on a monetary unit scale.

This is really funny and the analysis of the wealthy with the devalued notes carried around by the Zimbabwean kids  Grin
Zimbabwean currency have been devalued as a result of inflation. This has brought extreme poverty to the them.
America has done well to keep the dollar currency stable and not devalue it by printing higher denominations. America print notes during Trump and Biden currently but they have also brought policies to reduce inflation by introducing taxation. Printing of notes isn't really the big issue but to have a proper plan not to allow devaluation.
