4441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 03, 2020, 05:46:08 PM
If I am right then SLB can go ahead with idea like this but for BCB its not easy as they are very strongly under Indian influence they never been go with Pakistan so still its not going to happen and Nepal is good good option but Afghanistan is also not good enough for next few years as they are still not going with any agreement between Government and Taliban.

I am sad about Afghanistan. There are millions of cricket fans there. Because of the security situation, the cricket board has moved the home matches to India and therefore 99.99% of the natives can't watch their team in action. What happened in Pakistan is very encouraging. The security situation has improved there and teams such as Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are touring that country. I hope that the same can happen with Afghanistan as well.

And regarding BCB's reliance on BCCI, the situation may change in future. If BCCI had so much power and influence, then why couldn't they stop the Bangladeshis from touring Pakistan?
4442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are You Happy For Participate bounty in this Year 2020 on: April 03, 2020, 05:40:37 PM
There may be new projects out there and I am not discouraging anyone from participating in them. But I have made my opinion clear in one of my previous posts. There is no respect for bounty hunters here, despite all the hard work they put in. Unless this mentality change, I am not going to participate in any of the bounties. Another condition is that the exploitative rules of bounty campaigns must be changed.
The biggest problem faced by bounty hunters is quite a lot of scam campaigns, even though the exploitative rules of the campaign were changed, Scam campaigns will still infiltrate the list of real campaigns. Because of this factor, the work of Bounty hunters is getting harder and harder, if not careful when making a choice, then we will get into the trap they made.

See.. there can be no 100% guaranteed method. But it is definitely possible to bring down the rate of scam projects. We may not be able to completely eliminate them, but it is possible to reduce the occurrence by 80% or 90%. In order to achieve this, there should be a degree of cohesion among the bounty hunters and they should have a sense of unity. This will force the bounty campaign managers to remove the exploitative terms from the campaigns.
4443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: April 03, 2020, 05:34:18 PM
But BCCI is not facing any problem as they are one of most richest Cricket Board in world and they have much funds for paying all for some long time without any problem on other hand many Government and Private companies have nothing option like this so they have to do things like this we are also facing many serious troubles as Ramadan and Eid is coming and peoples are worrying about this all kids are also not happy with this all.

Well... I agree with you on the BCCI. As per the official information, only 26% of the revenues in BCCI are distributed towards the players. So what happens to the remaining 74%? A part is being used for building new stadiums and other facilities, but I suspect that the vast majority is being used for "administrative costs". And that is one of the reasons why we have so many businessmen in BCCI board.
4444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 90% Of Project Bounties Are Scams on: April 03, 2020, 05:28:26 PM
There are multiple risk factors associated with the bounty campaigns. If any of these factors get activated, then you may not receive the bounty reward. First of all, only a small minority of the new projects are successful. So what happens to the others? They fail at the market and those who participated in the respective bounty project will be left with some worthless tokens. And even if the project lists successfully, there is a good chance that either the campaign manager or the promoter will refuse to make the reward distribution.
4445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19 and its effect in Gambling World on: April 03, 2020, 05:22:32 PM
The sad news vaccine make take months or even a year even on the speedy process but I'm always praying it will take a shorter time than expected. I'd rather have no gambling life at all instead rather have this virus still at large worldwide. Those asymptomatic are the more threatening at all since they might not know they are spreading the virus unconsciously.

I have said this before. Don't pin your hopes on the vaccine. This type of virus mutates very quickly and even if someone makes a vaccine, that may not be 100% effective. And at this point, the Coronavirus has reached almost every nook and corner of the world. With such a wide spread, it is just a matter if time before the virus mutates. We'll be having several strains of the virus to deal with and the vaccine will work only against one strain.
4446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins Need a Catalyst to push up prices on: April 03, 2020, 05:16:05 PM
I am not sure about the catalyst. Back in 2017, there was a major catalyst (I would rather use the term "trigger"). Back then, the ICOs gave a huge boost to the altcoin sector and as a result many of the alts gave as much as 100x or 200x returns for anyone who made their investments in them. But will that repeat ever again? To be honest, I am a bit skeptical about that.
4447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 03, 2020, 05:10:11 PM
^^ PCB was trying hard for Asia Cup but BCCI already shoot them down for obvious reason and they are not going to visit there anytime soon so we can rule this possibility out.

For ICC tournament one possibility seems manageable if any 3 subcontinent countries bids for joint hosting rights? for ex; Ban-SL-Pak ? then Pakistan can host few WC games.

Well.. why not?

IMO, it may be an excellent idea for PCB, SLCB and BCB to make a joint bid for the major ICC tournaments. BCCI is extremely powerful and they don't need to make a joint bid. But that is not the case with these countries (Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan). In case they could bid successfully, then I would really like to have one or two matches being staged in Afghanistan and Nepal as well. That can give a huge boost to the popularity of cricket in these nations.
4448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best project for investing in 2020? on: April 03, 2020, 05:04:06 PM
If you ask me, I am definitely not going to invest in any of the smaller projects. The risk is simply not worth taking. First and foremost, my choice of investment would be Bitcoin. Apart from Bitcoin, other cryptocurrencies in which I would invest include Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Binance Coin (BNB), Stellar Lumens (XLM), Monero (XMR), Houbi Token and Cardano (ADA).
4449  Economy / Economics / Re: Oil price War will Bring real War soon in Middle east on: April 02, 2020, 06:18:55 PM
Well... I have a slightly differing opinion on this. The oil price is falling like a rock. The last time I checked, Brent crude was going at less than $27 per barrel, with the WTI quoting even lower. In this scenario, it looks as if the only way to get oil above $50 per barrel is by triggering a war. The Saudis need to do something about it, else they are going bankrupt in a few months.
4450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk PSL T20 Pool and discussion. on: April 02, 2020, 06:12:33 PM
^^^^ I was talking about the revenues. With regards to crowd attendance and viewership, PSL may be one of the biggest leagues out there. But when you compare the broadcast revenues, sponsorship amounts, and involvement of major brands, then PSL lags behind BBL or the Natwest T20 Blast. And even in the near future, I can't foresee a scenario where the situation gets much better for PSL.
4451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 02, 2020, 05:57:42 PM
Well you did not mention MS Dhoni, who was the player of the match in this final. He was at super form that time. He made a not out 91 in just 79 balls. If he had not played this innings, it would have been difficult for India to win this CUP. After this worldcup the downfall of Srilanka started and they never recovered even in 2020.

Don't have anything against Dhoni. He is definitely one of those "legends", but I just picked the top 3 names that came to my mind. Dhoni was like the backbone of the batting then, especially with others such as Gambhir and Sehwag close to retirement. And at the same time, Sri Lanka had their legendary player in Kumar Sangakkara. Mahela Jayawardene was also a part of the team, but I would not rate him as a "legend".
4452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: April 02, 2020, 05:40:12 PM
This is totally correct. Bounty hunters are just one of the means to spread the word. There are a lot more marketing strategies required to attract actual investors. For example, an article is read by thousands of users but the question is how many really invested in the project reading that article?
All marketing plans can reach users/investors but only leads or registrations depend on the product and its niche in the market.

If the promoters are serious enough, then they have a number of options to attract high quality investment. For example, they can conduct a third party audit or promise to keep the funds in escrow. Steps such as these ones are going to attract a lot of investment, especially from the mainstream investors. But many of the projects don't want to go for them, as they want quick cash without much effort.
4453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 02, 2020, 05:34:36 PM
^^^^ Well.. there have been no major terror attacks in Pakistan for quite sometime now and recently they managed to host the entire PSL tournament within Pakistan. There have been successful tours by Bangladesh and Sri Lanka recently. Participation of India is the big question. But if Pakistan is certified as safe enough to host the major tournaments, then the ICC should give them a chance. A good way to start would be with U-19 World Cup or the Asia Cup.
4454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Now Binance owns CMC! A Red alert for all the shit Exchanges! on: April 02, 2020, 05:28:28 PM
Binance is really a good exchange and there is no doubt with that but we can't say that they will follow the same things with coinmarketcap as well because its just a coin tracker as of now.But they might have some plans to make more money from CMC so they will ask high fees for a project to get listed.
Binance will never try to follow what already did by CMC in the past. The old CMC owner has been getting a big money to keep his live as the new millionaires. As far as i know if he was getting hundreds million dollars. That's a crazy amount for just only a single site that shows the regular marketcap of crypto.

Yes.. the deal was worth $400 million. And that means that the original owner of coinmarketcap is getting filthy rich. But I smell something fishy here. Why would Binance pay such a huge amount, for this website? I heard that it is a combined cash+stock deal, but even then such a huge amount sounds excessive to me. That is unless Binance has some shady intentions on what they are going to do with CMC.
4455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: April 02, 2020, 05:24:19 PM
Players getting paid is going to be a worry for many sports associations around the world including cricket players. The England Cricket Board is going to have some big problems in coming days and the same with the Australian Cricket Board. Like I have mentioned in other sports threads, the economy is going to play a big part in all sports after this virus is over, that's what we all should be worried about right now as we may see some sports teams never return after this, remember that money runs all the sports around the world and this has taken a big hit for many sports associations so we could see some not return.

Well... why should the sports players be given special treatment? Here in India, many of the states have asked the government employees to forfeit one month's salary. With the economy in deathbed, there is no other option. Private companies are laying off excess staff and millions are without a job now. I don't think that cricket players can be immune to all this. They need to forfeit some of their earnings.
4456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are calling projects as scam when they are in a bear market? on: April 02, 2020, 05:18:14 PM
If a token loses its value all of a sudden, then there will be a solid reason behind it. And this may sound atrocious, but the number one reason is the dumping of tokens by the promoters. When the promoters dump their tokens, the message is not taken very well by the investors. They would interpret it as a sign that the promoters are going to make an exit. And once the reputation takes a hit this way, it gets almost impossible to restore the faith of those who invest in it.
4457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk PSL T20 Pool and discussion. on: April 02, 2020, 05:12:29 PM
IPL has seen 12 seasons, BBL has seen Nine seasons and there are only 5 seasons of PSL. So we should not compare these leagues with PSL. PSL have only half the seasons of the other mentioned leagues. Once we have 10 seasons of PSL, it will be in the TOP 2 for sure.

PSL is a mature tournament now, with 5 completed seasons. I think that is enough to make a future prediction about the league. If you ask me, I would say that PSL will remain among the top-5 leagues. But I am quite skeptical, if you tell me that it will overtake the franchise leagues in any of the Big three nations. Having watched both the BBL and the PSL, I would say that the former is better organized and favored by the sponsors. And that too by a wide margin.
4458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is Becoming a Crypto Monopoly on: April 02, 2020, 05:06:22 PM
No matter how much they try to hide the fact, the links that the Binance promoters have in China will surface eventually. And with the Western nations going after Chinese companies such as Huawei with all their might, it will be quite foolish to believe that they will grant an exemption to Binance. They need to plan for any hostile action from the Western governments, in the near future.
4459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 02, 2020, 04:59:14 PM
@Vishnu.Reang You are absolutely right main thing was they was checking what is response from peoples and can they manage big events like this and they already pass in both ways so now there is no problem about these last 3 matches they can done any time when we all will be normal in near future.

If they can manage major tournaments, then the financial difficulty which they are facing now will vanish. I can't even remember the last major ICC tournament which was hosted by Pakistan. They can at least bid for regional tournaments such as the Asia Cup. Hosting the PSL was a major success, but we need to remember that it is still a franchise-level tournament. Hosting a multi-national tournament would take them to another level.
4460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of cryptocurrency during this pandemic on: April 02, 2020, 04:53:25 PM
The next block reward halving for Bitcoin is less than two months away. But still, we don't have a major spike in anticipation of this event. I would blame the COVID 19 outbreak for this. The economy is in ICU, and the impact is being felt at the cryptocurrency market as well. And my outlook for cryptocurrencies is quite bleak, at least for the next two to three months. We may witness a major drop following the block reward halving.
