4461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who would actually believe celebs promoting crypto? on: February 26, 2019, 03:49:03 PM
Their fans might believe since buying the same things your idols have would make you feel you share a certain connection with them. Endorsements like these though is not an effective way in the long run since first, promote ICOS--which we know that has quite a reputation when it comes to dumping. So people brought by that endorsement would think that this kind of trend in the ICO space is the norm for all crypto market.
4462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I told my banker about bitcoin on: February 26, 2019, 03:42:55 PM
Banks don't want to incorporate crypto since it is still in its early adoption stage. There might be problem in the future if they carelessly accommodate it. Besides, crypto and banks are not necessarily on good terms. Lucky for you, your account didn't get terminated. From where I live, if you say your income is form cryptocurrency your bank account would be closed.
4463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to replace fiat on: February 23, 2019, 03:51:42 PM
Bitcoin does not need to replace fiat completely because it also has its own weaknesses. Fiat too has many misgivings that only bitcoin can complement which is why they should instead be used alongside each other.
4464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why I Don't Do Bounty Campaigns & Why You Shouldn't Either on: February 22, 2019, 03:26:41 PM
we are aware of the risks in joining bounty campaigns so your kind of story is within expectations on this space. You don't need to necessarily stop doing bounties, you also don't need to put a lot of energy into it since you can never know if it would turn out as a scam. Just do it when you have free time--similar to like a part-time job.
4465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to ICO if....... on: February 22, 2019, 03:21:08 PM
All altcoins are dependent on the price of bitcoin. It's relationship is like bitcoin leverage where if btc pumps, the alts pump more. Now, majority of projects are eth-based so it is bound to depreciate more and the ico market is already getting unpopular to new and old investors so if bitcoin goes any lower than 1k$, it would certainly die.
4466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dead cat bounce or the start of bull market? on: February 20, 2019, 04:02:04 PM
I think we are still in accumulation phase;people might start to move after the etf. What's happening right now might also be a bull trap since prices are just being pumped due to several big events like the nearing ethereum hard fork.
4467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bull market is almost here on: February 20, 2019, 03:54:07 PM
I hope with this events, the market would still show organic growth. Because if people fomo'ed in again, the price might increase abruptly and would seem like a bubble again to other people.

If you mean mini bullrun , I think it can be happen in this year.
But if you mean big bull run , I predict it will happen 2 years forward.

Indeed. bitcoin has 4 year cycle so if we take into consideration the last bull run which is on 2017, the next would be 2020--that is after 2 years.
4468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ☛ Signature Bounty & Merit System on: February 20, 2019, 03:51:02 PM
The managers could definitely use this to gauge a participant's ability to create helpful posts and award them extra stakes. This would in turn motivate bounty hunters to improve their post quality. They could also trace users with multi accounts and ban them if they thought of increasing their merit through their alts.
4469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters, please be patient. on: February 20, 2019, 03:44:27 PM
I am a bounty hunter, I am very patient to wait for tokens to be shared. My experience in being a bounty hunter is that many bounties are delaying distribution because they are afraid of a dump. I was very disappointed with the admin's decision because it wasn't on schedule.
Most of the projects don't follow their roadmap mainly because of the market situation. They postpone their main sale but will accept private investments to sustain their operations. As for their fear of dump, their concerns are useless since most of the ICOs after listing dump anyway.
4470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: best exchange for traders on: February 19, 2019, 03:47:09 PM
binance market for the best while .... the cost is also quite cheap compared to other exchergers ... I think for beginners enough
I also use Binance. The UI is easy to understand and you could opt to hold bnb to minimize trading fees at the same time earn passive income. Second best for me is OKex. It has nice volume and their support is very good based on my experience.
4471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investors now moving to gold on: February 19, 2019, 03:29:37 PM
This explains somehow the current bear market. No new investors are putting in money in this space. The people who also invest in ICOs are also old-timers who just plays around with their funds.
4472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the obstacle of Bitcoin? on: February 18, 2019, 03:34:35 PM
The technology and concept of Bitcoin and the Blockchain is incredible which provides a revolutionary solution to payment systems across the globe. One major obstacle hindering the smooth progress of such an innovative technology is the governments. Most of the governments are against the idea of Bitcoin because it is decentralized, hence Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency activities are unauthorized in some countries.
I agree. The government has all the capabilities to shut down bitcoin entirely in a country. For example, they could close down exchanges people who use crypto would have now means to liquidate it. The second obstacle for bitcoin is the lack of information in the public. Bitcoin having negative impression to the public stems from their lack of research on the matter.
4473  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin must come back to its original use - currency ! on: February 17, 2019, 04:20:40 PM
I hope bitcoin could come back at higher price about $10,000 and will have positive effect for all altcoin could raised to higher price again, many time almost all of altcoin at lower price because bitcoin still could back at higher price.
Bitcoin increasing in price would make it stray further away from being a currency. If price increases, people will tend to hold their coins more so less bitcoin is 'moving' in the community. This is counter-productive since a currency is meant to be spent not hoarded.
4474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is the best time to buy Altcoin? on: February 17, 2019, 04:10:59 PM
Now ICO stage buying is very risky due to Scammer come to crypto world. So i think good stage is in exchange duration. Because lot of cryptocurrency price was dip after come to exchange. Some coin prices are lowest more than ICO and Presale prices.
It's more risky to buy a coin after it gets listed in exchanges. Majority of tokens follow a trend wherein after it gets listed in exchanges, it dumps continuously and not recover to ICO price at all. With this downtrend, the coin is sure to be dead so it is better to buy during ICO stage where you get bonuses.
4475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Power of Decision on: February 17, 2019, 04:04:01 PM
Many people are hindered on making the right decisions because of greed. Take for example, a person wanted to sell a coin now at x$ but because of greed he thought that the market will pump tomorrow; but it dumped. So he missed the chance and also lost time.
4476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There will be many tokens that go to zero. on: February 17, 2019, 03:48:19 PM
Majority of the projects created in 2017 were shitcoins developed by people who took advantage of the situation of the market so it makes sense that it would depreciate in time. The investors only looked at it as a quick way to gain profit so there was never a real support backing the project.
4477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do when your coin spikes? on: February 16, 2019, 04:49:13 PM
I'm more of a long term holder and the only coins I posses are bitcoin, eth and exrn so short term spikes don't affect me. Though if I were in a position where I could liquidate my assets without this idea, I'd probably sell them of and just wait for the right opportunity to buy back at the dip. Of course there's the risk of it pumping after selling but there's no point in sulking since i have no hindsight information to begin with.
4478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin collapse by a global government crackdown? on: February 16, 2019, 04:44:03 PM
If all county ban bitcoin nation wide,is like bitcoin will start on loosing in the memory of all people because no one can use bitcoin because of the ban.
That is, if they can ban it properly. The only means of the government for banning it is to shutdown exchanges in their respective countries. So if people really wanted, they could still use even if its monetary value isn't much. Take eth for example. I'm pretty sure it would be used even if it goes back to 3$ with its smart contract capabilities.
4479  Economy / Economics / Re: is it possible that the bitcoin was created by governments? on: February 16, 2019, 04:29:40 PM
According to conspiracy theory, Is it possible that the bitcoin was created by governments to gain financial strength in the modern world?
Possible but very unlikely. If perhaps they did create it, it wouldn't make sense to not support your own work. Also, the government has substantial amount of influence on banks. So if the assumption they created bitcoin were true, they just shot themselves in the foot since we all know that on of the main reason for bitcoin's existence is for decentralization to prosper.
4480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should invest into ICOs that have a working product. on: February 14, 2019, 12:50:52 PM
Participating on projects with working product is not a sure fire way of getting profit, it just increases the chance. An example of a project that have working product but still turn out to be a scam is Sobit.
