If you are downloading and trusting a new software wallet it is essential that you first move your original Bitcoins out of the shared address, in case there is a trojan in the software.

it is not enough to just move your coins out of the "address" specially when you are using an HD wallet such as Electrum. you have to create an entirely new wallet with a new seed and move your bitcoins there and then import the seed into the fork coin's wallet.
you say this later one but there isn't enough emphasis on it, and this is a very important matter people forget.
Actually moving coins to a new wallet would not help so long as you downloaded the Fake wallet and installed in on the same device. The Fake wallet hosted on the website was Malware itself. It would give the hacker a get way to the victims PC and then the attacker would start stealing the coins remotely without the victim's knowledge.

If you check the link to the thread i shared, the victim did not just lose only BTC, he lost even other altcoins
Yesterday in the very early hours of the morning Dec 4th I have been hacked and completely robbed out. The total of 1 Mio USD in different coins have been stolen from my system. I am still pissed off from my own shitty security. But things happened and I cannot go back in time.

Here ist the list coins and transactions of the robbery:

Ooh i remember that infamous website (electrumdiamond.org). It hosted a fake wallet which was laced with Malware. Those people stole lots of money from people who were trying to claim forks.

One particular user i can not forget lost over $1Millon worth of crypto to the hacker behind that wallet: Read more details about the story in this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5080741.0

Members who knew about this incident tried report the malicious website but it remained online for a while but go thing it's offline now.

The Manchester united is one of the most popular and richest club in the world and my favorite team also. But they are loss the greatest player like salah and more this  season it shows the Manchester united current status in points table.
Manchester United Lost Salah?
When did Salah play for Manchester United? I must have been in comma, please help jog my memory  Grin

Lol M. Salah never played at Manchester United as I know M. Salah is a transfer from AS Roma to Liverpool why do you confidently say that Huh

Manchester United are having a bad season and the players are still pretty good. There are Martial, Linggard in the front line.
@ragavancoin clearly knows nothing about football. He is just shitposting for the sake of post count. I wonder why he is even here in gambling discussion talking about things he doesn't know... It's not like the cryptotalk campaign mandates someone to post in gambling  Roll Eyes

and Arsenal could not win but we still saw a lot of goals and 2:2 result.
They where leading 2:0  Roll Eyes
Is there anybody who still gets surprised about Arsenal's results?
4464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: October 27, 2019, 04:56:37 PM
I'm not too focused on La Liga this week because of Real Madrid and Barcelona not being in action, but they both should resume during the new rounds of La Liga scheduled for the mid-week.
Very boring weekend for me too,  as a la liga Faithful because of the postponed El Clásico.  The Other big Match between Atlético Madrid and Bilbao also ended in a disappointment.  I want Bilbao to atleast share the spoils.

How to take advantage BTC Pump and Dump in short period?
With margin trading you can actually earn in both tge pump and the dump so long as you know the entry and exit points. Also with margin trading trend is your friend. Right now the trend calls for longs and it has been so for a few days now.  People who carefully follow the bear trend earlier on in the week and the Bull trend later this week have earned massively
4466  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] SwapMixer.com - Swap Bitcoin to Litecoin anonymously on: October 27, 2019, 08:03:28 AM
I still feel things are not entirely anonymous when they are done on the clearnet especially if authorities are still on a crackdown for mixers. Authorities can still find ways of watching you and seizing your domains leading to losses to customers ((some have already fallen victims this year)

Yes i know your are still working on the tor mirror, but when it's ready, is the clearnet part also going to remain operational?
If yes, what counter measures do you to ensure that unfortunate incidents like domain seizures don't happen?
4467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 27, 2019, 07:32:29 AM
LOL, I think you overreacting now!
Arsenal has a better team than Leicester and I cannot recall a game where arsenal's opponent had one man down and still they were about to lose the game. In the end, arsenal will finish higher in the leader board than Leicester.
He's not overreacting... There is some truth in it. Last time Leicester Lifted the trophy, Arsenal failed to get above them even when opportunity presented itself despite having a better squad than Leicester's. Stats also show that Arsenal hasn't really changed that much despite Wenger's departure.
4468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BCH sent from ElectrumSV wallet to Poloniex on: October 27, 2019, 06:58:49 AM
I have a feeling you sent the BCH to Poloniex probably without knowing or by mistake thinking it was BSV. I don't think a transaction can happen by itself without you initiating and authorizing it.

Your only luck now lies in the hands of the support of poloniex thou like some members have talked about above, it sucks big times. Just brace yourself for any disappointments that may come your way.

Majestic 7 picks:
-snip-
1 BTC meet my pocket.  Grin
Say byebye to 1 BTC this weekend  Grin
Your selection thou looked like an exact copy of mine... Looks like we are in for another bad weekend. The top scorers are not scoring lately

Honestly I gave up finding these. They look so weird to me because you gotta make sure all of them scores. However, if I were to do this week I would have gone with high scorers as well. For example, I had Mahrez for the city game because lets face it Mahrez is as good as a striker when it comes to scoring (and in this day and age people outside of strikers score a ton too), for the Bournemouth game I had C.Wilson because he is the top scorer for Bournemouth and maaaybe he could get one too, then for Everton Richarlison because he was the top scorer as well, basically picked all top scorers honestly for the rest too, Batshuayi for Chelsea obviously and Aubameyang for arsenal, mane for Liverpool and Rashford for United. Those are all top scorers of their respective teams. Doesn't mean they would but at least gives a higher odds.
Actually some weekends, the picks are pretty easy. I have played only for times so far. Got 4 correct scorers in my first week and 5 correct scorers in my second week(that earned me 30mBTC of free bets which wasn't bad at all)
Then last week was my worst. 0 correct goal scorers in that gameweek despite picking all those top scorers Grin

4470  Other / Meta / Re: Give moderators the option to demerit when a post is deleted on: October 27, 2019, 05:35:33 AM
But the way most of the accounts spamming have never earned any single merit and a majority of them are usually newbie accounts in the altcoin section. So how are you gonna demerit such accounts in order to discourage them from spamming.

I think higher ranking Accounts that spam in other boards and get their posts deleted are few as compared to those in the altcoin boards so i don't think the move will provide a net positive result. It will instead cause more drama and friction in the forum as someone said above.
4471  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance matching server is not performant as it was claimed or bug occured ? on: October 27, 2019, 04:52:46 AM
Flash crashes have happened before, not only just on Binance but on Bitmex and coinbase too. Probably someone executed a very huge sell order and did not care about whatever price the sale was going to be executed.

The best way to see this through looking at the sell orders at the moment in time. Also, As far as i know, stop losses are only triggered when the market price reaches that particular stop loss price. I doubt if they get triggered by just flash crash of just seconds.
4472  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best / Worst experience in crypto on: October 27, 2019, 03:49:22 AM
Best Experience:
- I got to learn about bitcoin, the transactions, wallets and how the protocol works. Bitcoin is the best thing that happened to me alongside a few Altcoins especially when it comes to transactions. 90% of my transactions to other service providers and people are in crypto. I no longer have to suffer with the slow expensive international wire transfers and getting attached to institutional thugs (banks)

- Also learnt how to trade, it has been earning me some decent side income

- Made about $22K in ICOs back in 2017 just from a mere $1000

Worst Experience:
The bear market that followed. Who can ever for get that crush if you were from 2016, 2017?  Cheesy

4473  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: delete account on: October 27, 2019, 03:21:17 AM
Your account just has one post. Why do you want to even delete it?

I know admin can change your name to anonymous but i doubt he will even waste time on such. Just leave the forum and move on, i don't think there is vital info on your account that you need to be worried about.
4474  Other / Meta / Re: [UNBAN APPEAL] account ibinsad on: October 26, 2019, 12:58:46 PM
I think is not fine because i did not received any warning from moderators and after my last post and several months account get banned, certainly if i knew it was going like that i would have been very careful about what i wrote and deleted any unwanted post, but i had no chance to do that.

So everybody confirm ibinsad account is lost forever ?

No problem i don't post anymore outside here with any account, i just wanna know why in this case the account is lost forever without any warning and chance to delete incriminated posts.

I think that who accuse someone without giving the possibility of an answer or solve the issue is just a "tyrannical act" !
You probably did not read the rules. The warning is already there.
33. Posting plagiarized content is not allowed.[e]

Trust me once you are caught plagiarizing. Your account gets permanently banned.
4475  Other / Meta / Re: [Achivement]Finally I am a self-made senior member! on: October 26, 2019, 12:16:54 PM
Congs OP on the achievement. I know how it feels  Smiley

EDIT :

Just one afterthought. You are not self-made. Without the support of the people that gave you merit, you would be nowhere. So maybe take a second to thank them as well.
Perhaps the reason he said self-made is that he put in effort to make quality post. Without any effort, you could barely get any single merit. I have seen Newbies with 1000 posts but with zero merits.

4477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: October 26, 2019, 10:10:05 AM
Now trading at these prices on Coinmarketcap:

0.00000002 BTC
0.00000098 ETH

Not looking great
Not looking great at all. I just checked binance and some trade pairs seem to have been removed already (NPXS/BTC, NPXS/BNB). This is going to eventually affect the daily trade volume and the token might get delisted from a number of reputable exchanges if the trend continues
4478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 26, 2019, 09:37:44 AM
Manchester City - Aston Villa
I think Manchester City will win the game. The odds for Manchester City is only 1.08 and it isn't wroth. So, I don't bet on winner team.
For this game I bet only on Manchester City clean sheet.
Anyone bet on Aston Villa or draw?
The odds is 30 for Aston Villa and 13 for draw.
For the Man City Game i will pass. The City Odd is not worth it at all. I will wait for the Liverpool vs Tottenham game and i will risk it on a Liverpool win.
4479  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Curated list of upcoming ICOs, IEOs, STOs on: October 26, 2019, 08:42:07 AM
By the way, as so many knowledgeable guys hang out here Smiley ->
Why do they usually speak of tokens with regard to ICOs, as on https://www.cryptocompare.com/ico/#/upcoming
I get it: Usually, ICOs come with Token releases, e.g. on Ethereum. But that doesn't have to always be the case, does it?
Ethereum was also launched with an ICO and it's a coin, isn't it?
Or am I mixing things up!?!?
It's just a common misunderstanding in the crypto world. A token and a coin are completely different. In fact some of this offerings are supposed to be called ITOs(Initial Token Offerings) instead of being called ICOs (initial Coin Offerings) but guess what? People don't know how to differentiate them, so they end up generalizing them as ICOs.

Ethereum or Bitcoin are coins because they have their own independent infrastructures or blockchains. They also have their own software. They do not need to rely on another cryptocurrency's software or infrastructure in order to function.
Another common characteristic of coins is that they are minable.

For tokens, they don't have their own infrastructure or blockchain, so they rely on another cryptocurrency's blockchain in order to function. Also most tokens are not minable. They are usually minted out of a thin air. The biggest platform for one to create such tokens current is the Ethereum Network?blockchain. There are other blockchains now where you can create tokens from such as EOS, TRON, NEO, Waves, Stellar ect

Yes, Ethereum had an Initial Coin Offering but indead it is a coin because it has all the characteristics of a coin unlike certain tokens like DAI ,NPXS, OMG... All those token are ERC20 tokens which are built on the ethereum blockchain so they don't qualify to be coins

EOS also started off as an ERC20 token built on Ethereum blockchain when they held their token sale back in 2017, but they when ahead to build their own blockchain afterwards and then swapped their EOS tokens built on ethereum blockchain to EOS coins based on the EOS blockchain, so they are now literary coins as opposed to their earlier tokens they created for the sale.

I hope you understand.
4480  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginner question about monetizing gains on: October 25, 2019, 07:50:47 PM
not knowing much about the process that was what I figured.  Maybe there's other alternatives out there.  As for the coin, its very new and marketing hasn't started.  Once that ramps up i'll be happy to share specifics.
Just made a small discovery... Don't even count on them so much

Don't even bother sending your KYC details or tokens to them. They are SCAMMERS: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5195285.0
They will probably steal your details and sell them on the darkmarket, as for the tokens, you will probably never see them again if you sent them.
