4461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: February 07, 2021, 03:40:11 PM
I do notice that some people naturally don’t allow bitcoin in any of their daily transactions.
It is a common mode of action for people to fear what they have little or no understanding about. It is also a common thing that some people respond and accept changes a lot more slower than others. You do expect a man who normally receives his salary in dollars, to suddenly accept bitcoin as a new tender without proper information on what bitcoin is and its prospects. However, with time as popularity increases and acceptance is gained, people will come around.

There are people in the world who think that fiat and paper currency is the real money, rest all is scam or short term money making opportunity. Due to their lack of high vision thinking they are unable to realize that the future is of digital currency and bitcoin will be the king of those currency. Even with institutions adopting it, they still think it is a scam, strange  Huh

I don't think many people consider bitcoin a scam... It's just that most people are used to the old stuff... The same way people used to not trust plastic cards, and even earlier they didn't trust paper money... It was the same with the Internet and cell phone service... I am sure that bitcoin has a good future! Cheesy
4462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The unconfiscatable Bitcoin and what governments are to do about it. on: February 07, 2021, 01:55:21 PM
Government and bitcoin are two completely opposite things! Bitcoin gives people financial freedom, the government takes it away... That's why the government never recognizes what it can't control!
4463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 07, 2021, 09:37:34 AM
Today will be a great match Liverpool vs Man City... I hope Man City doesn't let me down! The odds for both teams are good - 3.6 - 3.5 - 2.1...
I understand why the bookmakers are favouring Man City, but in my opinion Liverpool look strong at home too!
4464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: February 07, 2021, 08:46:29 AM

I view odds as nothing but representation of majority view towards a certain event. And that makes odds very very manipulative. In 2016, people's opinion of Donald Trump winning was so low, and it's like a cycle, people thought Trump won't win, the odds adjusted themselves, and people after seeing the odds believed it more. In sports, odds become much more dangerous to trust, because there is a huge luck factor as well, even the strongest player can get injured!

In sports it is also the result of the latest events of this or that team... For example, if an outsider suddenly wins several games in a row by chance, then his odds will increase in the following games...
4465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BINANCE will delist these 4 coins! Check it out! on: February 07, 2021, 08:02:40 AM
These shitcoins got pumped up before delisting! Too bad for the people who bought these coins, hoping for further growth... It will be a good lesson that you should not grab everything that grows! Wink
4466  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Simplest Question: Where do I get bitcoins on: February 06, 2021, 07:34:34 PM
There are many ways to buy bitcoin, from exchangers to various mobile applications... You can also register on an exchange and buy bitcoin there... I think if you read this forum you will find the right option for you! Wink
4467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: February 06, 2021, 04:35:48 PM
Human ignorance never ends at once.  However, with the change of days, their thinking also changes.  Many people are reluctant to use Bitcoin due to lack of knowledge about cryptocurrency and its many basic uses.  In this case, they must acquire sufficient knowledge about cryptocurrency.

Why should people use bitcoin?
I am of course a supporter of cryptocurrencies and I like the idea of decentralization... I understand that my bitcoins belong only to me and no one else! That I can send them without any barriers and government oversight anywhere in the world!
But still, why should people use bitcoin and not VISA or MasterCard?
4468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits $40k on: February 06, 2021, 03:39:43 PM
40k again, but still a small distance to go for a new ATH, which probably on the momentum of everything else will happen within the weekend. I wonder if people will hope for a 10% hike from there to go to 45k after that. This time this is carried on from ETH momentum I believe. Guess we're all dreaming now again.

Yes, 40K again! Cheesy Tether has turned the printing press back on... Recently 500M of new USDT entered the market... And I think that's a start! Wink Hopefully the last price pullback was just a correction!
4469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice games on: February 06, 2021, 12:51:45 PM
I don't understand what kind of strategy can there be in a dice game? It's just mathematical probability and luck... I think it's impossible to find any strategy against a mathematical algorithm...
4470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont stay in crypto too long on: February 06, 2021, 11:19:19 AM
Why stay away from crypto?

Cryptocurrencies are one of the few funny stuff left in these coronavirus lockdowns. I find day trading and watching the market much entertaining than Netflix. Especially after the Reddit events lately.

I think it's about not holding coins all the time...
Anyone can trade successfully in a bull market! But at one point you can turn into a successful investor until the next cycle! Grin That's what it's all about... But if you're left with bitcoin, that's okay! What you can't say about the other coins...
4471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: February 06, 2021, 09:41:24 AM
Next matchday (Matchday 22)
- Huesca vs Real Madrid
- Real Betis vs Barcelona
- Atletico Madrid vs Celta Vigo

I think there will be no change in the position of these 3 teams tomorrow. They will against small teams and I predict all the top teams will get 3 points to secure their current position, especially for Atletico Madrid that will play at home tomorrow. Well, all the supporters of Atletico, Real, And Barce should be satisfied with the current result and don't expect much for the change.  Smiley

I agree with your Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid selections. But I'm not very sure about Betis-Barcelona. I think that Barcelona will have a big hardship in that game. We could see goals from both sides. If Barcelona even win this, I think that it will be a difficult win.

Matches with the leaders of the standings are often predictable... But I don't agree about Barcelona. They show good statistics in the last matches... I don't think they will have problems in the game against Real Betis...
4472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 06, 2021, 08:11:39 AM
Man U vs Everton in my opinion will be an interesting game! Red Deivils look good, but Everton are also motivated to win! They have a few games to go up in the standings...

Wink
Grin

Wink

4477  Local / Альтернативные криптовалюты / Re: NEM on: January 31, 2021, 05:35:43 PM
Wink

Not much time left before the start of the match West Ham vs Liverpool... Judging by Liverpool's recent matches, you can bet on them to win! Wink
True, both teams are motivated to win, but Liverpool looks much stronger than West Ham...
Grin
Wink

Grin
4480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: January 30, 2021, 03:45:17 PM
Huesca unexpectedly beat Real Valladolid...
Recently I noticed a tendency when the outsiders of the standings win matches... There was a similar match in the English Premier League...
Probably bookmakers make a huge profit in such situations! Cheesy
