There is no "break" for soopy as You could think by what John wrote. He is working behind the scenes, he isn't responsible for communication part, that was pointed out before. We will give You answers with soopy for all Your questions or doubts. Cheers Ok. So, tell me about the developer soopy. I want to know his credentials and why you think that he is capable of delivering this technology in a unique and innovative way. Soopy has spoken about his credentials around August this year, just check through his posts of the last 2 months. John can you quote the exact page - you need to step up your game bro - give it to me THIS IS THE PAGE WHERE SOOPY TALKS ABOUT HIS CREDENTIALS:Official Update about the Progress Dear Navajo Coin Community! We are pleased to announce and give You that update about our progress in developments and give You a full view on the current situation.
NavajoCoin Messaging System and NavajoCoin Anonymous Technology were almost finished in the development arena , proposed to be implemented in 2 stages.
When We got hit by the attack , I immediately worked on securing the network as well as restart POW to further strengthen the network for the moment and to stabalize the same as well as compensate Bittrex and Bter in the process and the great community here helped me mine the needed blocks to achieve this.
After posting the New Updated client to further secure the Network and thereafter the network stabalizing , I fell sick and was even hospitalized.
And for around 3 weeks I was dead-out , after coming back to work despite all I have been re-evaluating ways to further strengthen the NavajoCoin Anonymous Feature thus prevent any attacks while it has been implemented because when Anon is implemented we risk any attacks so I've re-evaluted in everyway and I've identified ways to make it further secured and also ways to implement them to the Beta Client.
While I have been doing all these in the Crypto World, just to tell you a bit of my background, while being a software developer in the real world I have developed applications which both civil and military applications for the Financial Sector as well as the Military under my Software Firm and I have been called upon to discuss a few upgrades on them and will be at a their facilities analysing them therefore for around 3 days I will on it.
From Monday Onwards I will be back working with NAV and you can expect an end result within the week.
The time taken will be to implement the special Security protocols that I have evaluated and further secure the NavajoCoin Anon Network even though we are testing all functional requirements for the client will be available in the beta so just think it as a quite identical to the real final client, which will have the same features the Beta will have.
And here's the few screenshots of our coding work:This is just a preview for You, so You can be fully confident, there are more things behind the curtains. Also along side Beta Anon testing there's a special update coming for the main client. And Soopy doesn't want to tell in first hand that, becouse people might underestimate. We have also prepared an updated blockchain in zip. for Linux Machines:Stay tuned for more news guys!
Best Regards
- Soopy452000; Navajo Coin Development Team

Thank God, you have started making reasonable comments. Thanks for the change of tone. This is what we need to succeed, to ultimately get soopy back to business.

Just got this PM from strugg. "Hi nousernamesleft Like I said I understand You completely and I agree that we need to ask soopy many difficult questions. But please leave it to us - dev Team. You are talking very negatively in the thread about the same things. It won't help You, won't help the Community. We know that we have to ask soopy all these questions and we will do it asap. Things will change. So please just leave it for us and stop writing all the time about that in the thread - You said many important things and we will ask soopy about everything You wanted. Best Regards - Strugg"
If Ben Franklin were still alive, I'm sure he'd have a few choice words for him. PRIVACY / SECURITY / FREEDOM All 3 are important, not just the first two and anonymous chat.
I'm only negative because I've been waiting almost 3 months for these same promises to manifest. I left it to the devs, and nothing happened. Trust is at an all time low. Anon was supposed to be ready for beta when I bought in. I think it's time to see some proof of code. NOW. Shit or get off the pot. I invested real money. Let's see what we all invested in!
Be careful who you try to censor. You may be stirring a wasp's nest!
He is not trying to censor you, he is only trying to get soopy back. The real problem is that all negative talk or criticism, however genuine, has the potential to scare a DEV away. How would you feel if you were the DEV and everybody was just complaining after you have put in weeks of hard work and talent for free?

lets see what kind of update package comes up with today/tomorrow!
@package you said you will work on the feedback implementation for the beta chat. offcourse this is great, but what is soopy working on then?
and i know most people dont work for free. maybe an idea to give a bounty for every progress that is made? so for example if remy can fix the synx issue, he gets xxx coins for his effrts or something similar.
what you guys think of this?
also if you devs are too busy im willing to handle the communication and marketing part. but that will only work if you guys update me on progress on a regular base. i can do this for free, no problem.
just thinking in solutions here...if you have better or other ideas let me know..
People do not work for free, they will be paid when this coin succeeds.

Show me proof you are selling your coins! and not just fudding
show me - screenshots
sell your coins then or you dont have any - talk the talk and show me you want out and not just driving the price down.
If you want proof you better get your bitcoin ready. I've got enough to take it down to 100 again. Stop being a pain in the arse, change your ways, lets fix this coin together. Forget about the past failures - remember that there are other devs now in the team, even if soopy is slow to perform. I have said it TIME AND TIME AGAIN, that negative comments here just drive away potential investors, technical support and whales - your negativity just scares helpers away!
|
|
|
Whatever soopy has done in the past is now in the past. Soopy can come back again with full blast, but we should not scare him away - you have to REALISE that soopy is not even obliged to come back to this coin, so we must create a favourable environment for him to come back and get the job done.

I say it's time to panic. My friend's project made it clear that there are two possibilities here. Either SoopY is barely working on this, or the project is technically over his head. Either one is not acceptable. If you think there is another possibility....please enlighten me.
Hello All, I just wanted to drop by and let you all know how much we are grateful for your undivided support and motivation as well as your kind donations for me as well as the foundation and would take this opportunity to tell you how much we are grateful and in appreciative of the same which we will never forget. We would also like you to know that we are working behind the scenes to ensure things are in line and ready for the next big steps for Navajo and many people , developers , investors , enthusiasts and the foundation is working passionately and with eternal spirit to make this coin solid and a success. I would like to thank you all once again for the trust , support and love that you all extend towards us which is also our strength. Love & Light. ~SoopY~ I see the words: "working behind the scenes to ensure things are in line and ready for the next big steps for Navajo"

We have a dedicated team of DEVs, even if the head dev fluctuates a bit. This coin must succeed. I am HOLDING.

And FYI....with maidsafe, the FUD was squashed in May and it never came back. It proves anything is possible when informed people believe in you.
We simply need to do the same over here - FUD SQUASHED IN SEPTEMBER!

This is getting ridiculous. You guys are happy with any communication, when you should only be happy with progress.
For fucks sake, Beecoin had chat 2 weeks before us. Was it really that hard to implement a second time? I think it shows us exactly how much time SoopY is willing to invest in this project. Even the simplest projects take FOREVER.
Why is there no source code to look at for the chat? Is it even anonymous? I'm sure you'd all love for us to trust you....but this is real money we invested & these are basic investment questions (how does it work?). Seems that if you devs are so short on time, you'd want others to look at the code and make suggestions.
I told my friend about NAV and he said I was an idiot for investing so much. After reading the NAV whitepaper... he created a coin, anonymous messaging, and anonymous chat... IN ONE WEEKEND! Now he is going to release it with his new anonymous music album. My point? Anonymous is gimmick, and these guys aren't even doing it well....or at a reasonable rate.
GreedyJohn you keep saying if you have skills make your own coin.....well my buddy created one for fun, and made all of us look like fools. Turns out it's not as hard as everyone thinks.....if you have a deep understanding of what you're doing.
Maybe it's time for us to pay more attention to people's actions and stop living in a dreamland.
Why don't you give this coin to your friend, let him sort it out at a handsome profit.

The best method to approach this problem is to be friendly, so that the devs can work properly. How would you all feel if you were the dev, being vehemently criticized?
I truly hope you are not suggesting that I am not handling my concerns in a friendly manner! In fact, I hope you are not saying that about ANY of the recent posts man as that will mean you will take ANYTHING that is said to be negative or of concern to be not "friendly"!! I see all the recent posts as being respectful voicing of VALID concerns man and if we can't address them here, then we are hiding something! I do not suggest that, but many complaints coming at once appears scary, especially when the devs are not paid a salary to improve this coin. I am more frustrated than you are.
|
|
|
We need to activate the devs, either by donations (for those of us who have funds), technical support, or simply by boosting morale - by not always complaining vehemently. This isn't the only coin to have problems. We need to find out what the real problem is with the devs, why they have been unable to deliver, or we need to determine the factors that are really holding this coin back.

The best method to approach this problem is to be friendly, so that the devs can work properly. How would you all feel if you were the dev, being vehemently criticized?
I would feel upset, and try to understand the merit of the complaints. Then, I would be honest and attempt to approach the situation in a constructive way. Understand my complaint. I bought in at 1550 SAT. That is my real money. And because of the Poloniex wallet bug, I have not been able to SAVE A DIME OF IT during NAV's downfall because my funds are FROZEN on Polo. I don't care about your double spend attack. You didn't save me from anything. I had to sit there and watch my funds drain from a bad investment with no option to get out because the developer did not deliver. I had to watch it happen slowly, and NAV was my FIRST investment with bitcoin. It was hurtful. And all I see is cheer leading and not coming on in timely fashion to meet promised dates. It is very unprofessional behavior, I am not impressed. If you want me to be impressed then impress me dammit. I'm a nice guy, but I'm genuinely pissed for a damn good reason. Don't brush that under the carpet! And censoring me is a HORRIBLE way to affect community trust, so either address me or ignore me. The community will see what you do. We are all stuck in this problem together, I also lost money too. What I mean is, instead of bitching about the dev, why don't the complainers fix the coin themselves, if the job was that easy.
|
|
|
Members who have skills should fix this coin themselves, instead of just complaining - you do not pay the devs their wages, they could just walk away if they wanted.
People need to be positive, this coin can still work. It looks as if this coin was intentionally kept back.

John, not really right to say "investors" do not have a right to speak their minds without helping with development, marketing etc.! We've all been singing and hearing this same song for some time brother!!
It takes all kinds of people to make a coin successful man, developers, marketers, MINERS, INVESTORS and on and on. Just because people fill other NEEDED areas in their support for a coin, such as simply investing in it, does not mean they have no right to speak here........or bitch for that matter either, if it is just.
I have been an extremely positive supporter myself of NAV for quite some time, but I too am getting tired of the same old song and dance man, then to come here and see all this silliness with fake pumps..........REALLY bad feeling seeing this crap. Dude above is right man, it gives the feeling someone is trying to pump so they can dump!
Keep hearing about this double SPEND attack, tired of hearing that too man.......NAV was said to be the first to ever recover from such an attack, I give MUCH praise to soopy for that one and he RECOVERED us from that in under 48 hours and that was WEEKS ago brother. That has nothing to do with all the continued and non stop hype and no real achievements or promises met.
Dude above also makes a good point, while we have been waiting for ANON, dozens of BRAND NEW coins have launched offering the same technology we have now been waiting on for I believe months. All of this and community members are being hit up for "donations".......to develop the coin. Dude, SERIOUSLY wrong and SERIOUSLY funny smelling!
I am not trying to hurt this coin either man and I suspect you KNOW that to be true. I just want the hype and cheerleading to stop, and development to commence.....more importantly, to get deployed.
Those who have coding skills should help soopy. I know that people have their grievances, but if you were the dev, would you come back to such a negative environment, or would you seek greener pastures elsewhere? Soopy does not need to work for you, you do not pay his wages, a lot has happened, but rude comments and nagging will scare him away. Navcoin is now at the bottom, it can still sell high if upgrades are implemented.
