4461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will Bookmakers Suspend/Restrict My Account if I Profit in the Long Term? on: December 09, 2020, 07:14:17 PM
After going through OP and a couple of replies, I find it rather impossible and relatively funny for it to be that, bookmarkers can limit participation on an active account based on a frequent win from that particular account. In essence, all they want us to do is loose, loose and loose some more! It's so unfair should this supposed observation be true and come to think of it, all the adverts of betting platforms are always focused on winning, amazing odds and options do, restricting an account should the account be winning more frequent is absurd!

PSG is on fire this evening, it seems the postponed game favoured them after all. It's halftime and the scoreline is PSG 3-0 Istanbul Basaksehir. Still expecting more goals in this game though.

Ajax Vs Atlanta is been a disappointing game do far. It's halftime and the scoreline is still goal less, for a game I'm expecting a both team score.

It's Midtjylland 0-1 Liverpool. I kind of underestimated them #Midtjylland but, they seem to be doing a great job holding Liverpool down at least for the first half.
4463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FOOTBALL: UEFA Champions League 2020/21 Season on: December 09, 2020, 05:28:06 PM
Here are the fixtures for the UEFA Champions League games taking place this evening on 9th December 2020:

Here are my opinions  Grin

Ajax 1-0 Atalanta
FC Midtjylland 0-1 Liverpool
Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 Istanbul Buyuksehir
Bayern Munich 3-0 Lokomotiv Moscow
Inter Milan 3-2 Shakhtar Donetsk
Manchester City 2-0 Marseille
Olympiakos FC 1-3 FC Porto
Real Madrid 1-1 M'gladbach
Red Bull Salzburg 1-2 Atletico Madrid
I'm looking to make a bet but, I'm really confused following the result from yesterday's games has got me confused. Both team score was my prediction for Barcelona 0-3 Juventus while I had hoped Chelsea 1-1 Krasnodar would be a Chelsea win with at least over 2.5 but, they all went sideways.

Anyway, I'm hoping to go with your bet but, the Manchester city Vs Marseille doesn't seem to be a no goal Marseille game to me, considering the fact that, they already lost 3-0 to Manchester city in their previous meetings and would be looking to offset some of that goal in this game.
Ajax Vs Atlanta seems like a both team score kind of game while,
Fc midtjylland Vs Liverpool feels like an over 2.5 game.
Three predictions are based on a hunch though.

Oh, one last thing: have you guys seen Messi somewhere?  Grin
Lol, it's so funny having to see this!
Well, it's all evident in the life of Christiano Ronaldo that hard work pays. No doubt Messi is a great guy but then, his approach to challenges is rather too poor. A mean, his been in a comfort zone where everything works for him and having people fed him the ball that his idea of football has always been, it never goes wrong in Barcelona, we've always got to have the best players and now, not that the players aren't there but the style of play is different and for one who is so rigid and not used up changing circumstances like Ronaldo who challenges himself at every point of his career, his (Messi) is got to be out of the picture.
I wonder were the competition is going to be this time. It's always been Ronaldo and Messi but now, who is going to be contesting with this great guy #CR7?!!!
4465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: December 08, 2020, 08:51:27 PM
Apparently some official said something racist to one of the players and PSG and Istanbul just stopped playing. Fortunately I had no bets there either.
What do we make of this? Seriously, coming from the official is just going to pose some insecurities in the minds of players on the pitch about the officials to be biased. They should be settling the problems not coursing them.
I placed a bet on that game and was really hoping for some good results on the side of PSG. I guess bookmakers are just going to drop that one out should the game not continue.

It's been an awesome game across matches in the UCL so far, lots of goals. A very lovely penalty from Jurginho, it's been a while I saw such carefully placed ball in the net. The keeper couldn't even move! Krasnodar 1-1 Chelsea. It's been an interesting game between these two with lots of movement and actions and Krasnodar aren't giving up, they are posing such a huge treat to Chelsea.

Club Brugges scored another goal despite  red card  for its player Sobol in 38minutes!
So it seems Borussia will be a winner of group F. However their win is not  certain before a while Zenit wasted good chance for  goal
The UCL has been amazing so far. A wonderful come back from Borussia Dortmund to come from 1 goal lose upto the 70th minute to winning the game against Zenith St. Petersburg 1-2 Borussia Dortmund, not that it wasn't expected anyway but, having it done is just superb.
Lazio is the team that seemed to have surprised me so far this evening. They just seem to give away there winning game so easily. They've got the goal and men advantage after the referee had given Eduard Sobol of Club Brugge a red card as early as in the first half, the game still resulted in a draw.
Lazio 2-2 Club Brugge
A nice one for Club Brugge but, an awful one for Lazio.
4467  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You got help? It would be polite to say "thank you" and give feedback. on: December 08, 2020, 08:03:21 PM
For all other members : check the posts from the previous day, see if there are any comments and respond to them if necessary.
It would have been much easier if this forum, like most forums, gave users an indication that their post has been quoted or their username was mentioned somewhere. Otherwise it is easy for the topic to be moved, or be buried under other topics and be missed.
With that being said about a possible notifier on quoted users comments which isn't bad at all, I believe, having a post created by a user buried by other posts is of no issue to OP as he or she could always keep track of the thread. It's a matter of checking your posts or topics you started and just like that, your right where you want to be.
Having a thread and not checking it occasionally for replies is more like creating the thread just to seek merit and you don't really care what issues the thread raises which is bad. Discussions intells a feedback system and not just feed back as responses from other users from you as well to ensure they know you see the responses given and you understand or agree or disagree with certain points. Though, it's not everything you've got to respond to but certainly, there must be at least one reply that would tick your interest.

Again, not having to say thank you when your aided is a feedback already and it says 'you never needed help and as such, you didn't deserve the help you got'. And you should be quit sure you discouraged whom ever helped you and that user might just go ignore you whenever you seem to need help because, you are in appreciative. It's bad not to appreciate some one who aids you. Maybe your style of appreciation is giving out tokens or a few bucks but, you've got to learn that, a little 'thank you or I finally got it/understood' would go a long way you n passing a positive message.

4469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 07, 2020, 02:16:00 AM
I'm even more sure that his this season title will go to Atletico Madrid and Simeone.
Even if I am a Real Madrid fan but I agree that the chance for Atletico Madrid to win the La Liga trophy is quite big this season. Atletico looks stronger, undefeated, and conceded 2 goals only so far. There are no other teams in La Liga which have a performance as good as Atletico Madrid. However, since it is just Matchday 12, I am optimistic that Real Madrid still has a chance to compete with Atletico Madrid for the trophy.  Wink

I still believe Real Madrid has a chance at the title though, it may seem to have been jealously guided by Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid remains a true rivalry to Atletico Madrid haven't taken 2 UCL from them, Laliga trophy won't be such a big deal though, the stakes are much higher now with Luiz Suarez and Diego Costa handling the forward. The game remains open though.

Laliga seems beseeched with lots of draw this Sunday with Deportivo Slaves 0-0 Real Sociedad
Villarreal 0-0 Elche
Granada 3-3 SD Huesca

These draws surely did some damage to my bets, I really never anticipated for it and just like that, Real Sociedad is down to 2nd place on the league table and so does there dropping farther down begins.
4470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 07, 2020, 02:04:26 AM
Samdoria surely have it their best with Morten Thorsby trying tireless to get a free header but the crosses where not often properly delivered though, they managed to give AC Milan one hell of a match. It wasn't very much a spectacular match to watch but, AC Milan very much worked there ass off to secure that win with the super substitute S. Castillejo for Alexis Saelemaekers who came in at the 76th minutes and in mare seconds, his first touch secured the win go AC Milan. A much needed goal. It was a good one.
4471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 07, 2020, 01:52:26 AM
If the Premier will continue like this, this can be one of the most entertaining tourney of the decade.
The coming back from both Manchesters in the top of the League is making my hyped.

I still support the weaker Leicester.

I Hate Mou.
Liverpool winning is boring.
Chelsea winning by money.
Manchester United needs to lose since they can't free Pogba for me.
Manchester City needs to lose every year with their frauds.
I agree the EPL has been or still remains a very entertaining one this season with everything to the title still at stake, looking at the lots of teams that has sat at the top of the table and down they later went and even up to this moment, no team has made it a strong hold yet so, it's been an interesting season.

You saying Chelsea is winning by money, I suppose that being the money invested in buying players and if so, yeah. They surely are and are doing great. Last season, they suffered a terrible transfer ban but still managed to keep up so with them being free this season, it's only good they make up for lost glory if they can pay. We all saw Manchester city do it two seasons ago, bought players and won the title, I guess Chelsea is up for the same thing.
4472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the odds of other outcomes matter to you? on: December 05, 2020, 08:29:02 PM
They surely do. I play more of accumulated bets and these odds add up to make your expected outcome worth risking your money over so, every odd in the series really do matter. It not only helps in the aspect of being a boost to the odds but, it limits the number of games you've got to add to your accumulated bet and as such, it keeps you off the path of danger or risk.
I believe every gambler should or would have a range of odd for which, his or her expected outcome is expected to revolve around and as such, every odd matters, toe at least.
4473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 05, 2020, 08:25:17 PM
Paul Pogba with the equalizer!!! I always knew Paul Pogba is a good player but his pride ever since he joined Manchester United always gets in the way of his playing style of play. Well, I won't say Manchester United is back in form because, I personally feel is too early to say that until they meet with a more viable title contenders. What's being saving them thus far has been pure luck And a few penalties so, I wouldn't be too sure.
Chelsea on the other hand, I don't see a reason why they won't be getting the 3 points off Leeds today. The Leeds team that is nice had a good start this season are done for and I hope they loose to Chelsea tonight.
4474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: December 05, 2020, 08:22:13 PM
I think that Salzburg-Atletico Madrid will be a very hard game for both teams. Because both teams have the chance to continue on CL. Salzburg must win this match if they want to qualify out of the group. Getting even one point will be enough for Atletico Madrid to qualify out of the group. But I don't think that they will leave it to chance. Besides, if Atletico Madrid would have won their home match against Bayern Munich last week, they would have guaranteed the second place and this match wouldn't have any importance for them. When it comes to my opinion about the match, I think Atletico Madrid will get at least one point and continue their journey.
Salzburg- Atletico Madrid is sure to be an Atletico win. Seriously, I don't see Salzburg having a chance. I love them @Salzburg, they play good football but, they aren't any match for Atletico Madrid so, I really don't expect them to win, not that they can't but I think they won't. With Luiz Suarez I. The Atletico Madrid team, it's not more of a game of winning with the least goal possible and holding on till the game ends but, Atletico Madrid just became a scoring team and with there eyes on the league title which remains instable at the moment, following the poor performance of the top teams, Salzburg isn't going to be a very strong challenge.
4475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 05, 2020, 08:17:01 PM
At least some positive news for Real Madrid, a win against Sevilla could make the players more confident in their next game against M'Gladbach.
ATM to the 1st spot as expected.
Cadiz - Barcelona still 0-0, if Barca won this, they will take the 5th spot this round!
ATM is doing so greatly and no doubt, should they continue in this manner, they just might end up claiming the laliga title for themselves with Barcelona clearly out of the way, the only threat that remains is Real Madrid which has been doing very poorly to me. Yes, they might have won a 3 point today but on the general note of performance, I still consider them to be doing poorly.
A team like Real Madrid playing under 1.5 against Sevilla whom Chelsea or should I say Oliver Giroud trashed 4-0 in the last Uefa Champions League. How weak would the team be before Real Madrid would realize how formidable they are and up there chances with goals. It's disappointing still.
4476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 05, 2020, 04:43:47 PM
Everton is not a great team do not mistake what I am saying as Everton is capable of doing great things, by all accounts I think their position in the league right now is a joke and will definitely be gone very soon and they will drop. I just mean to say that their games are always unexpected and people never really know what to expect by the games final whistle.
For a team that sat on the league table at the beginning of the league or should I say at the first phase of the league, there past few matches as at now has been a very disappointing one. Can't believe they had yet another draw and are currently at the 8th spot on the league table and with some games yet to be played, there are chances of them falling farther down the EPL table, very discouraging. That's why I agree with you on the point that, it takes the final whistle to decide a turning point for an Everton game, that's if they aren't on the loosing side as it took grace for them to escape a lose today.

4478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People still don't know about Bitcoin on: December 04, 2020, 07:44:54 PM
The term Bitcoin is a very familiar one to many individuals, especially amongst the youths but surprisingly, not many of them know what bitcoin really is. They just settle with the fact that it is a cryptocurrency which makes it valuable and that's it. It doesn't interest them or are not a bit curious as to knowing how it came to be or how it works. I guess it's an individual thing as most persons are just more okay with the physical things, things they could actually see, touch feel and can quantify rather more accurately. But then, they forget that it pays to have knowledge and knowledge is power they say.
4479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Does Bitcoin Have Value? on: December 04, 2020, 07:29:27 PM
One of the unique qualities that make up a nation is currency! It's as significant as it's flag or coat of arms as it represents the indigenous peoples means of exchange. Until Bitcoin came along in 2009, this is what the web very much lacked. A currency that could be used all over the web and that's where Bitcoin stands today.

With the global population being too high even though, it's just a portion of it that are technologically literate or enabled, Bitcoin is doubtedly not going to be enough to be distributed to every person according to their demands hence, the law of demand and supply sets in.
The more scares the commodity, the higher the price and vice versa. This is what determines the value attached to bitcoin as we have it today. And it's not done appreciating just yet.
4480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will all countries accept crypto as currency? on: December 04, 2020, 07:10:39 PM
In my country, cryptocurrency remains a legal investment though, it doesn't come without an emphasised warning on the dangers that is associated with cryptos with regards to scamming and scammers following it's Decentralized nature. The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Central Bank of Nigeria are trying to see a way of incorporating the blockchain and crypto technology into governmental and finance operations to render needed services. It seems a bit complicated at the moment since, government operates a centralized system and a merger between decentralization and centralization seems out of place but, it's a work in progress and a developmental oriented one at that. So, we are as Bitcoin enthusiast going somewhere with bitcoin in changing the world around us.
