4461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ‘Bitcoin Is Not Money’ Because We Cannot Print It – Banks on: March 27, 2019, 05:35:05 AM
Money is any entity that can be accepted as a means for exchange of goods and services. Printed notes and coins are just a form money can be represented with but not the true appearance of it. Bitcoin is also a form of money because people accept it in exchange for goods and services.
Earlier this happened and people were accepted an entity as exchange because it had a physical state. With cryptocurrency people weren't able to understand the market and the reality of bitcoin. Just for the reason of unable to print it can't be considered valueless. From my understanding people will realize the need of bitcoin and technology, but it takes little time.
4462  Economy / Economics / Re: $2.5 Million: Binance Invests in Aussie Crypto Payments Startup to Push Adoption on: March 27, 2019, 04:16:54 AM
This is a good initiative from Binance, one among the largest in the cryptocurrency exchange service. Now what they invest will get reflected soon when the cryptocurrency network becomes more popular around. These startups will help stand together and grow high, also it will add value to the Binance network.
4463  Economy / Economics / Re: How much important bitcoin for entrepreneurs? on: March 27, 2019, 03:44:19 AM
As bitcoin is in its early days of gaining popularity, entrepreneurs who make use of the platform gets assured profiting. As they're looking for an independent living, bitcoin shows them the way. Here from the beginning they might not get profited, but gets assured profiting as the market is grows with time.
4464  Economy / Economics / Re: Be Creative and Earn on: March 26, 2019, 10:21:17 PM
That's nice for those who have creativity and talents but for those who do not, maybe something else will do. Someone can always earn by the services he can offer but not as easy as posting a private key or a qr code. There are some individuals I know who have the talent of making avatar designs and banners and they are getting paid also in cryptocurrencies.
Everything creative in the market is rewarded. For the same this is an example. When we make ourselves creative through cryptocurrency it shows as unique among the common bitcoin users. As in the quote, whether it is avatar, or whatever might be the service. We do the work and get paid.
4465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pension funds bringing money to Bitcoin. on: March 26, 2019, 09:27:24 PM
This will be a big risk to take for them but I'm thinking of too many insurance companies rising out there so the competition for them is also big. We cannot deny the fact that there is money in cryptocurrency, if they are fighting for the survival of their companies then why not widen their options. I'm seeing it like that but to make it happen, that would be a very brave decision for them.
Earlier large number of early adopters have profited good through investing their pension funds on bitcoin. This keeps the technically skilled people the hope and the mind to invest on bitcoin even after understanding the big risk. From my knowledge I find most of the users who with a happy mind took risk are now successful in their life in one way or another.
4466  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do in 2030? on: March 25, 2019, 07:01:58 PM
The next minute's price of bitcoin is completely unpredictable, by this time I find it really hard to predict the market of bitcoin in 2030. Possibly if I'm with good health I'll be having a peaceful life with the cryptocurrency holdings. Probably by that time we can see the entire number of bitcoin will be mined.

4468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The crypto market is starting to improve??? on: March 25, 2019, 06:13:45 AM
The market has grown high crossing the $4000 margin. Market at present isn't fluctuating big, but the price needs to go beyond barriers reaching the round off point $5000. The market has reached high as $4100 and now it is around $4030. So the market isn't big with green signals, quite often red indications can be seen throughout the market.
4469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Constant positive growth since the beginning of this year - Bullish or bearish? on: March 25, 2019, 04:01:52 AM
It is very hard to predict whether or not we will have a bull market this year as last year the market let us down. Again, being a smart trader would be the best thing that you can do. Hodling for months won't give you a lot of profit and based for my opinion the longest hodl would be at least 10days specially this month there are a lot of project that will have their mainnet or updates by the end of this quarter and early q2.
From the beginning of year we were experiencing a big change in the market. Though it is unpredictable, the market keeps showing good signs of growth. Going low to $3000, now bitcoin has recovered above $4000. Same way can expect similar level of growth in the upcoming days of the year.
4470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the best time to invest on ETH on: March 25, 2019, 02:44:05 AM
Ethereum price is now below 600$. Do you think it is the best time to buy Ethereum now ?
now Ethereum's price is about $ 137 and its price is much lower than $ 600, I think this is a good price for long term and medium term market participants. In the future, Ethereum's price will be higher now
Truly it's a good investment for long term where one can expect assured profit. The market might be quite low, but at some point the price recovery will happen. While it was experiencing downfall to some extent it moved down gradually along with bitcoin price drop. This later gave a drastic fall, else by now it could've sat around $400.
4471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solid Reasons to Invest in Cryptocurrencies in 2019 on: March 25, 2019, 01:52:14 AM
Grin Invest need. But there is a main question. Where? Investing in an ICO is too risky. STO will not bring big profits. Will choose old coins to invest.
Investing old ones do not make sense, it is important to invest reliable ones. BTT can be the best proof to it. Behind it, is a project like utorrent and tron's CEO. And these are good reasons to rely on.
These were simply useless reason to make an investment. It has a product that is true, and the market provided such a big growth just because it is known around the world. Bittorrent is being integrated to the tron network, but these days tron looks manipulative as the price decline is massive.
4472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to invest in a couple alts.. on: March 24, 2019, 08:01:59 PM
Hi,
I've got a small bit of money to invest with. I trade these days. But it'd give me peace of mind knowing I'm also holding a bit.

I'm thinking of going with Ethereum. maybe 50% ETH / 50% BTC
Are there any of the top10 altcoins that are currently a better buy than ETH?
I think all altcoins are very potential especially coins whose position is in the top 10 in the coinmarketcap. Everything depends on you whether you are ready with all the risks of each of these altcoins.
Agreed and one more suggestion on the same, if the planned investment is large scale then it is good to go with high priced altcoins similar to ethereum, bitcoin cash, Litecoin and so on. By the time if the invest amount is low it is good to go with low priced coins like ada, steller, eos and so on for profiting in long run.
4473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth coin prices slowly rising again? on: March 24, 2019, 07:00:32 PM
Compared to 2017 increase this is nothing. I can say we are in the direction of possible bull run yet. Why? This is just a temporary rise and fall and you can observed that in the past few week. It never break the 200$ level. Attaining to take over this might be in good terms but for now let's just say we are still trap in he bearish sentiment.
These coins are naturally performing well, this is actually how the market is meant to behave without the interference of the whales that comes in to manipulate them and make their values overshoot, have we ever seen a baby that grows within a year, before the baby can grow to the adolescent age, a lot of things must have added to the body positively to enhance the growth and no matter the amount of food the baby eats in a day, it will never make the baby growth suddenly overnight.

These coins were birthed to serve a purpose and it will surely take a gradually process for them to get there. There are still lots of things missing from facilitating their increase legally, such as recognizing it as legal tender, the system also need large numbers of adopters which are still missing and to achieve these 2, we really need time.
As stated these are the cryptocurrencies that came into existence to make a big change. To attain the same it is not possible in a short time period. Already it has crossed several price points and what we experience by now is just a cyclic process in its growth. The recovery can happen anytime soon. It seems to be the right time to make an investment.
4474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano on: March 23, 2019, 08:06:01 PM
Cardano is a best investment for long term as well for short term. It gave a good return on users who made an investment into bitcoin. Some users mentioned that ethereum will be overtaken by cardano which isn't a possible fact. Recently Shelby update is scheduled, but the time period isn't given yet.
4475  Economy / Economics / Re: The prevailing market condition a blessing? on: March 23, 2019, 07:07:34 PM
Truly the prevailing market condition is a good blessing to users who have been with plans to make an investment into cryptocurrency. As the present market is in downtrend, investing now will give added profit on having patience to hold. There are people who invested when the price of bitcoin was above $15000, compared to that the present market is a blessing for all cryptocurrency investors.
4476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin collapse by a global government crackdown? on: March 22, 2019, 02:55:29 PM
No, bitcoin will not collapse by a global government crackdown. Bitcoin can collapse if the internet would collapse.

The bitcoin network would become unusable if one day the internet will be shut down. I guess there is no person on this planet that could want to do this. His money in the online banks will be lost, his friends would hate him, if the internet will be shut down.

Cryptocurrency network is functional through internet connectivity, some form of offline access is possible, but the same is limited. The internet too gets advanced with time, and the next important thing is the mining process which is the backbone to the cryptocurrency network. So, global government crackdown cannot collapse bitcoin.
4477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Future of Ethereum? on: March 22, 2019, 01:25:25 PM
The thread was started by the end month of 2018, by that time the market of ethereum was facing a massive down market. After months slowly the recovery began to happen with fluctuations taking the price of ethereum reach high and fall back. Now it is around $140, upon which I expect good growth to take place along with the growth of bitcoin.
4478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: are you afraid of the current market situation. on: March 22, 2019, 12:21:43 PM
Nope. There is nothing I fear about the current market situation. Because as I said before, the bearish market will not dominate the market continuously.
That's true, and it is a cyclic process. After some form of bear trend there is assured bull trend. We don't know when this will happen. We come across various predictions stating that the price of bitcoin will grow within certain time period. It is good to stick to that and have patience or to just go on own predictions.
4479  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks against the crypto on: March 22, 2019, 11:25:52 AM
Decentralization. Everyone is talking about it. Can cryptocurrency lead to the disappearance of banks. Or will banks be able to adjust and remain in power?
Bank will stay, but cryptocurrency will be more dominant in the future. Its hard to kill a multi-billion company, they will also adopt for sure and it can be a better banking system in the future. We have to be focus on helping cryptocurrency to succeed for a more better future, we should not let anyone to destroy this market.
Will have a crypto dominance once people would used and invest crypto, and also the participation of the government. And it may take many years to come before we have that thing since crypto development still on going and due to some issues of its stability.

With that matter, banks will still remain in service and provide their functions knowing that they are the most reliable companies where we can stored our money safely. And I don't think that they against on crypto but maybe they are pursuing also to adopt the system.

Banks already have long experience in any politics, economic situation and always able to adapting. If peoples using crypto for transaction, banks will adapting in crypto world and right now, many banks already involve in crypto market

Banks will surely adapt crypto but not all are expected to do it because some banks will always be against crypto because crypto and banks have a different advocacy  . crypto wants to be independent while banks are dependent  .  if i were to ask , id say im already contented on what banks and crypto has to offer .  there is no need to replace the other older service for a new one because both service are already working fine as intented  .
Already large financial institutions have invested on cryptocurrency indirectly. Banks won't adopt bitcoin, they might come up with the plans of adopting the technology. Already more banks have done it and under testing. Banks might add bitcoin as an added service, but this takes time as governments need to legalize the use of cryptocurrencies.
4480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Digitec Galaxus to accept cryptocurrencies as payments on: March 22, 2019, 10:32:47 AM
What's the governments stand on cryptocurrencies in Switzerland?

Switzerland is a free country and their government is open to all kinds of thing including cryptocurrency. This kind of news is good for cryptocurrency user who lives in Switzerland, its good to have an alternative payment option other than fiat money.
Switzerland already have its own cryptocurrency, but I'm not sure about its perfect functioning. Switzerland is a crypto friendly country and it has got more bitcoin ATMs and crypto accepted services. This being a small country has largest number of banks as the informations were kept secure. With this more people from different countries around the world invest here. Now a retail network accepting bitcoin into their business is truly good for the growth of bitcoin.
