4461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right desicion not to join on: April 27, 2019, 10:42:32 AM
I made the right decision not to join Yobit campaign every one is jumping to join the bandwagon but I cannot betray my friend who was scammed by Yobit, I can lose a friend if he saw promoting Yobit, who scam big money and for a few dollar, now Yobit promoters are now banned here, what do you think , are you also tempted to join Yobit when everybody are joining ?
Yobit has a very bad reputation. Just google Yobit and you will see a lot of threads popping up where user accuse them of scamming. Now, why would you wan't to advertise or a join a campaign started by Yobit? You will just prove that you are supporting those scammers. Look, there are tons of other legit campaigns which you can join. Avoid those scammy campaigns like Yobit.
4462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin can't be banned on: April 27, 2019, 10:39:31 AM
They can't ban bitcoin but they can cause legal troubles and you will be suffering from it. They can impose regulations that might cause problems when transacting using bitcoin. They can put you in trouble by suing you for money laundering or suspicious activities. The Government can't ban bitcoin but they can easily ban the usage of bitcoin or any other crypto currencies.
4463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get $40 stellar very easily on: April 27, 2019, 10:28:28 AM
Hi,

This is not the typical article about how to get money in which we have to do thousands of operations in order to get a few dollars.

The Blockchain page is giving away Stellar just for registering. But considering they give away about $40, it's worth it!

https://www.blockchain.com/en/getcrypto

Enjoy Wink
As far as I am aware, they are not giving away $40. Instead they are giving away $25. Now there is still a catch. You will have to verify yourself by providing your personal information and identification. Its more like you are selling your information for just $25. Do you really think your information worth only $25?
4464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's value after being more recognized and accepted globally. on: April 26, 2019, 10:43:50 PM
Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency in general are slowly been accepted and recognized by some financial institutions in some countries in the last few years. And there are well-known personalities that promotes the use of cryptocurrency around the globe.

But the questions is how come its value decreases after it has reached the highest in the last quarter of 2017. Was it being more accepted affected its value? What are your thoughts?

Do you really think the price of the bitcoin at the last quarter was the actual  price of the bitcoin? If you look at the price chart carefully, you will see that the price of bitcoin was increasing very abnormally. That kind of rise is never healthy for the bitcoin economy. The price needed correction and then we got it. Now we have a steady rise of the price which is actually very healthy for the market.
Yeah, the more the coin is being accepted the better the price will be.
4465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop badmouthing new projects on: April 26, 2019, 10:37:33 PM
Well all those "bad mouthing" is actually inevitable. Look at the amount of scams the ICOs are doing every month. People are getting frustrated of getting scammed and thus people are also trying to avoid them. Now, the way the the ICOs are scamming people, we now think whenever a new project comes out and raises money they are pure scam and thus we start spreading the bad sides of ICOs to make people aware and keep them safe. We will only stop when we start changing the way we look at ICOs.
4466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of Altcoin can buy now? on: April 26, 2019, 10:32:08 PM
Smiley Market is day by going below in Altcoin. If i buy some Altcoin now for long time hold what type of coin can buy?
please give me suggestion of experts about trader.
You don't want to be taking suggestions from people in the forum. People will always be biased when answering these questions. They will always try to convince you to invest on coins that they have invested on even if the coin is a shit coin or a scam coin. It is better to do your own researches and find out a coin that has a very good potential and invest on that coin.
4467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO owners and their dubious character. on: April 26, 2019, 10:24:16 PM
We just need to start avoiding them at all cost. The more we talk about them, the more we are promoting them (even when talking about their negative aspects). If you do really want to join an ICO, look for ICOs with very well known developers and team. Make sure you understand what the project is about. Evaluate it and see if it is actually feasible. Developers that hide their identification are likely the ones who will be scamming. So don't think about joining those ICOs.
4468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: April 26, 2019, 08:12:03 PM
There are lots of reasons behind users avoiding crypto casino that asks for KYC form fill up. First of all, users play on crypto casinos due to the fact that they can remain anonymous and it actually is less hassle from playing in a real life casino. Now if users will have to fill in their KYC forum and submit their information, they no longer remain anonymous. Again, that is a lot of hassle! It becomes the same as playing in a traditional casino. So for this reason, they try to avoid casinos that ask for KYC.
4469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is the reputation with Crypto Gambling Foundation? on: April 26, 2019, 08:06:29 PM
How is the reputation with Crypto Gambling Foundation?

I was going through some gambling pages in Bitcointalk and saw that a few sites were certified by Crypto Gambling Foundation. (https://cryptogambling.org/)
Can I trust all the sites verified by this page 100%?
They seem to have most of the main sites such as Bustabit, Primedice, Stake, Bitvest, Bustadice, Cryptogames, Cyberdice, Bitdice and this new site called Rocket.
But I don't see some of the major ones as well.
It doesn't actually matter if they are certified by Crypto Gambling Foundation or not. What matters is their reputation. A casino might not be certified, but as long as it has a very long and good reputation, then there is a high chance the casino will never be risking its reputation. Just look for casinos that are well known. Use this forum. Search for their announcement thread and you will get a pretty good idea about how legit their casino is.
4470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is advertising for ICOs unethical? on: April 26, 2019, 07:42:24 PM
I don't see how ethics is being an issue over here. They raise 10 million and spend 9 million for promoting themselves. Well, this is totally up to them on how they are spending their budget on advertising. As long as they don't end up being a scam, then it is all okay to me. Now this would have been a different question if you asked whether it was unethical to advertise for an ICO that has a high chance of scamming.
4471  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your plan if you bought around all time high? on: April 25, 2019, 09:37:40 PM
It depends on how high the price went and how badly it is crashing. If the price sky rockets all of a sudden without any reason and I have bought at the peak, then after seeing the price crash, i would instantly sell whatever I have bought to reduce my losses. If there is a clear sign that the price was manipulated I would have done the same, that is sell out everything.
People if they wan't they can keep holding the coins to recover but until then will have to have patience.
4472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be aware, so many scam coins are around on: April 25, 2019, 09:31:02 PM
Yeah, the market is getting filled with either scam coins or shit coins. Sadly, there are people out there that has invested thousands of money on coins that are useless aka shitcoins. They do not do any kind of research about those coins. They get caught by those fake volume created at different exchanges. If a coin is a clone of another coin, then there is a high chance that coin is to fail and be dumped in the future.
4473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto SCAM - HowTo protect yourself on: April 25, 2019, 09:27:03 PM
Looks like a very well written post. I guess this is going to help a lot of people who are either newbies or less tech savvies.
Everyone just needs to imprint this in mind:if something is too good to be true, then it probably is. Also don't forget, you can't get something for nothing. If someone is offering you something at no cost or at a cost that is too good, then something is fishy and you must avoid it at any cost. Just use your common sense to save yourself from scams.
4474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LESS REWARD on: April 25, 2019, 09:20:08 PM
Lets stop chasing after those ICO bounties. Yeah, the rewards are less or reducing because the rewards are limited but the amount of people will to take those bounty programs are very high compared to the rewards. Thus, the developers decided to reduce the rewards per person as this will help them spend the same amount but this them they will have more people to advertise for them. If everyone stops accepting those low payments, they will be bound to give more rewards to the people.
Trust me, spend your time doing something else. You will earn better.
4475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does crypto keep screwing me over?? on: April 24, 2019, 06:18:38 AM
Because you probably are investing on the wrong time. You haven't actually understood how the market works. High chances you start joining when the hype is at it's peak, thus before you can do anything, the price starts to dump. Again, the crypto market is totally unpredictable and you knew the risks.
Never heard of the coins you mentioned on your post. Better to invest on some known coins.
4476  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [S] $100 and $25 Google Play Gift Card! 10% off! [S] on: April 23, 2019, 11:33:57 PM
The Gift Cards are still up for sale. $90 for the $100 google play gift card and $22.5 for the $25 Gift card $110 for both! If you are willing to buy both, PM me and you might be able to convince me to sell it for lower  Wink.
4477  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you disagree?? on: April 23, 2019, 11:22:36 PM
I wouldn't agree nor would i disagree completely. This is because the price of crypto currencies and bitcoin in specific is some what totally unpredictable. You won't know what the price will be today or what it might be tomorrow. But yeah, when prices are predicted, they are based on some facts or events. How did you come to a conclusion that the price of crypto currencies will jump to $15,000 USD within this year? Just some random wild  guess like the others?
4478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting by the day on: April 23, 2019, 11:12:00 PM
It is great to see the crypto sphere getting better by the day and this is as a result of some positive changes in the price of coins.Hopes are beginning to come alive in the mind of many of us,how i wish these changes can affect ICO. Although many believe that the problem is bull run but i think otherwise,i stand to be corrected.I believe having positive changes in ICO can actually lead to bull run,Minimizing the level of fake projects and maximizing the level of genuine projects is all we need to get back to bull run.I really wish developer can understand that coming up with genuine project is a win win situation for both community and the developer. In the past, for some reasons i have lost faith in ICO but recently i feel things can actually get better with ICO because some have been successfully concluded in recent times.
Please stop acting like the price of crypto currencies are some what bind to how well ICOs are doing. Some coins are, but trust me, they won't last long. The actual price of bitcoin or other crypto currencies will depend on how much of volume of coins are being bought or sell. Now the volume depends on the demand of the people. The more the people uses it, the higher the demand will be. Thus cause the price to increase (not considering price manipulation in this case).
4479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you get your daily crypto fix from? on: April 23, 2019, 10:33:06 PM
Youtube channels or podcasts honestly aren't the best place to be finding updated information about crypto currencies. Most of them are just plain boring. I would recommend you to read articles from trusted sources instead. Reading is actually much better than hearing. Again, you can use this forum to keep yourself updated with the current information! For articles you can try crypto-news.net.
4480  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: April 20, 2019, 03:59:34 PM
Should be pretty transparent with less bullshits like KYC and other stuffs. Should have a user friendly interface. Must be easy to use and be smooth. Good volumes and need to make sure they do not add those shits coins in the exchange. Oh yeah, they need to have a good customer support. Most of the current support present are just useless and totally shit.
