Too sad that GSW didn't able to make it.

I will bet them - I just offered you if you are brave enough to bet against me.

Woah, this is hot. I think this is going to add some heat on this thread if there are bets like this. I'm not interested though but there could be some folks there who would like to bet against spartaneca.

It's exciting if there are such bets like to watch for although I'm not the one who's going to bet.  Tongue

I am just trying to get the series little bit more interesting.  As of Bucks and Heat - I think Millwaukee has written the homework from last year and will give Miami zero chance. It would be probably a gentleman sweep
Yeah, that's making it more interesting but are there already folks who reached you out? And with Bucks vs Heat, they're currently on OT.
Nobody has decided to step against me, probably because my status is newbie
No, not really, look at the game mate, it went to OT and you are saying that Bucks would sweep the Miami heat. You are saying the almost opposite of what happen during the last playoffs, Bucks are lucky to have one last time.
4462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: May 22, 2021, 08:34:46 PM
Since there's been an announcement that Manny Pacquiao will fight Spence this coming August 21, 2021 in Las Vegas, I guess I will have to close this thread for good, and let's continue the discussion in the new thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5339133.0.

Thanks for all your comments and opinion.
4463  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Best sportbetting site to use. on: May 21, 2021, 01:06:18 PM

4464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 21, 2021, 12:35:21 PM

I thought the running style is Mayweather's style.  Wink
But we will see the power of Logan here, if he is indeed serious with his training.
This exhibition match may go far. Or at least give us good reasons to watch and bet on this fight.
Mayweather may have had the experience, but is he still in good shape when he gets inside the ring?

The fight might not seem the same as how he fought that Japanese but this one is also funny since this is also an exhibition fight as well. I wonder what kind of strategy they prepared with this fight to make it more real than his last fight. If this is a real fight that has no cheating or whatsoever, I think Logan Paul should not give him any serious fight because if he does, he will surely lose it. He needs to play around and make this fight like never seen before in the sport of boxing to entertain the people. that's the only thing he can do to make it pleasing to watch.

For me, it's more entertaining if we will see  KO in this fight, I'm sure it will not be Mayweather but it will be Logan Paul. Mayweather should stop playing around, make this fight a serious fight as the PPV subscription is not cheap, fans deserve to see an entertaining fight.

well, sorry.. we have a different ways of getting entertain.  Cheesy
4465  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: May 21, 2021, 12:05:07 PM

Warriors +5.5
Memphis -4.5 (magka-iba kami ni @Vaculin dito).

Tapos start na ng playoffs.

Pareho pa ring talo ang bet natin sa Memphis vs San Antonio game, hehe..

1-1. tayo kabayan, walang talo at walang panalo..

Good luck sa tin, sana makalusot hehehe..

Bukas mayroong isang laro, anong team tayo kabayan?

Sinong mala GSW dito?? Kaya ba ang -4.5?
4466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 20, 2021, 09:47:51 PM
The outcome for sure is more different if Klay is there to help. Just saying  Roll Eyes

Not just Thompson, but also Wiseman and Oubre. Warriors were missing half of the team. With those 3 players healthy they would smash Lakers in first half and play with reserves in the second. Lakers still play very bad. They will need to improve their game very fast. They have a week of time. Latter will already be to late.

True, they lack rotation so their main players are so exhausted, Lakers have recovered from their injury problem but the Warriors losing Wiseman and Oubre is a big problem since both are playing well this season. I don't know if they can beat Memphis though, but I have a feeling they'll lose.
4467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: May 19, 2021, 01:59:49 PM

As i've said before, Casimero have different style than Donaire. The latter is more of a counter puncher while the former is an aggressive fighter that he will take the fight to his opponent. Rigo will be overwhelm by Casimero when bell rings as he eager to prove to his fans that Rigo will not derail his path to a big fight with the Monster.

That's correct, the style of Donaire is very simple, knock his opponent out and he will win.
I saw some of his fights that he struggles, his fight against Walters is one good example, he hit Walters good but he cannot knock him out so instead, Walters knocks him badly. Another good example was his fight with Inoue, he also has some good rounds but he cannot take down Inoue so in the later round he suffers the power of Inoue.
4468  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Best sportbetting site to use. on: May 17, 2021, 09:24:12 PM
Based on my experience lang kabayan, ito ang list ko.

Sportsbet.io.

Good luck anyway.
4469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 17, 2021, 08:58:13 PM
Remember that this season is going to be exciting, there's a lot of movement prior to this season and I'm sure you are excited to see which teams are successful with their decision.

Yes, because for the first time, I believe that SMB will have a tough season even with Fajardo back in the lineup. Ginebra is stronger now, and Magnolia as well. I believe either of the teams I've mentioned will win the PBA All Filipino Finals.

Agree to that, it's no longer the domination of the Beermen the upgrade of this two other franchise of SMB corp. will give them a hard time.

Last bubble champ BGSM added CStand giving them a two tower with speed and skills, while Magnolia added Abueva who can provide them additional

boost as the way he played this game. though it's not that this 3 teams alone there's also the Pangilinan groups and the rest of the franchises that will
compete with them.

We did not see C. Stand and Abueva played with their respective now in the last bubble, but it was Abueva who really help the Phoenix Fuel Masters to reach the semi Finals IIRC and to think it was his comeback after a long suspension, you can tell that he really has the talent and he is something special. On the other hand, C. Stand and his team had a back season last bubble, but hopefully he will have a good one under his new team.
4470  Economy / Economics / Re: 🔴 Breaking News - Elon Musk is going to part with all his Bitcoin BTC on: May 17, 2021, 01:21:16 PM
He is a clever guy, we would not know what his action, just like investors, we are just speculating if he sold his crypto or not. HE is still the hottest topic, we can see how the crypto world is getting affected if there's big news about Tesla and Elon, and at the moment, it's the bad news that is affecting the market resulting in a dump.

If Tesla will sell their bitcoin, then be it, and that doesn't mean there's no chance they'll buy and hold it again.
4471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: May 17, 2021, 12:39:07 PM
This is a good read :
https://www.boxing247.com/boxing-news/guillermo-rigondeaux-vs-john-riel-casimero-who-wins/175755

Their prediction is that Rigondeaux will win, I like to hear from the fans of Casimero, what do you think?

Quote
I’m picking Rigondeaux to score the upset – if you want to call it that – and outpoint Casimero in a damn good fight in August. Then, maybe, Rigondeaux will face “The Monster.”

As to how that fight would go, we must see how much Rigondeaux looks to have left in the Casimero fight, and also see how much this fight takes out of him.

They have a point as Rigondeaux is a technical fighter with a wide experience and he can beat Casimero.
4472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 17, 2021, 12:02:41 PM
Logan Paul has started putting out a lot of boxing content including a recent video where he fights four of the Gronkowski brothers at the same time and manages to get the best of each one. I am hoping and I believe that Logan is going to surprise some people against Mayweather. He has clearly been putting in the work to become a better boxer and I think it is going to show. I’m still hoping for a KO by either side, but I think Logan will most likely lose by decision.
The kind of training Logan did is nothing compared to the kinds of training Mayweather did back when he was still active in his professional career, and also, the experience of Mayweather is the key factor why he will win this fight easily, if the result is the opposite, then I believe the fight is getting rig for a purpose which would benefit Mayweather more.
4473  Economy / Speculation / Re: Free falling Bitcoin on: May 17, 2021, 10:09:50 AM
Don't panic, you can always click the sell button if you think bitcoin will drop more.
This is normal, we are not seeing a bull market all the time, a correction happened and we are seeing this kind of big dumps.

Just be patient if you are for the long term, but if you are for short-term investing or trading, betting convert it to stable coin now and just buy when bitcoin will dip more, I have a feeling it will go down further.

4475  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price crushed? on: May 17, 2021, 07:47:09 AM
There is no proof that Elon Musk has sold his Bitcoin, so he is in the same sinking boat with us.
Why would he make such a statement that would result in a dump of bitcoin... For a rich person like him, he can always sell and buy when the price is very low. By trading alone using his influence to manipulate, he can make millions of dollars in a single day, so it's easy for him.

But then it's just our speculation though, but it's obvious that the reason is Elon Musk's announcement about Tesla suspended in accepting bitcoin.

I dont believe that Tesla suspended accepting Bitcoin due to mining influence on the climate. Perhaps that excuse was only for the public, and real problem are legal issues. His decision made Bitcoin lose 10% of its price; same amount it gamed after Bitcoin as a payment announcement. But he did not say anything yesterday, and we see a -$5k drop. Who is responsible for that?
We don't know the real reason but the damage has been done, and his reputation in crypto now is not anymore good.
He will now be tagged as anti bitcoin.
4476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: May 16, 2021, 09:53:00 PM
I do feel like there is another reason for you guys to be vaccinated! You can actually experience normal casinos like before pandemic if you do wear the mask and follow the protocols.
For me, the best experience is if you are not wearing a mask, there's a lot of things to do in a casino, you will not only gamble but you can also enjoy different show especially in the big casino, this is Vegas, one of the biggest so once you are there, you have to enjoy since you are not doing it on a daily basis. This news would attract more gamblers, and this is safe since it's only allowed to people who got vaccinated and it always promotes that we should get vaccinated if we want to feel like living a normal life.

Anyways there are still protocol to be observed even if people are free not to wear a mask.

4477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid been carried away, it's never going to be bullish forever on: May 16, 2021, 09:32:18 PM
I'm not taking it, there's no such thing as "bullish forever". Bitcoin is in a cycle, it will be in a bullish and bearish period, that's why timing is very important when it comes to investing particularly on short-term investment, you will have to judge what is happening in the present to predict well in the future.

Now, bitcoin is down by a significant amount, we can't call that bullish and we can't guarantee its future is bullish.
4478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP is pumping now. on: May 16, 2021, 09:14:22 PM
From time to time Ripple does its own thing and outperforms other coins, but it does that in both directions. When it loses value it also loses value faster than others. I find it suspicious that it often pumps although you can't even find any relevant news that could explain the pump. That deters me from getting into Ripple.
We know that ripple is a centralized coin so its owners can do whatever they want with it, this is what I think it is happening, after all if you take a look at all the coins on the top 10 right now ripple is one of the least affected, but how this can be true when ripple is not only a bad coin but it is also going through a legal process against the SEC? And the answer is simple, manipulation is so strong on the market that it can even withstand the current drop in the markets.

Ripple is definitely one of the most manipulated coins in the market. How could it be different? The upswings and downswings are suspicious repeatedly, but they get away with it.

The bigger the amount of supply the team is holding, the more it's easy for them to manipulate. A coin with a huge supply that is price this high, we can already see there's a manipulation happening, if it's possible with bitcoin, how much more with altcoins, that's the simple logic.
4479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 16, 2021, 12:57:12 PM

I think his journey in the PBA is quite successful already.

He started playing in the year 2006, so that's 15 years in PBA and he also won 4 championships in his career.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jay-R_Reyes

The old guys are leaving to give that opportunity to the young guns, hopefully, this will open a slot for the young players.

All of his success is within the SMB team only, he is lucky that he has played in a good team with JMF being the consistent MVP. He is not a starter but with his experience, he was able to help the SMB to win, without a supporting player like him, a team would not succeed so he is also a big part. At age 36 and in the tough situation where we are at now, maybe he realizes that it's time to retire and focus on his life after PBA.
4480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Manny Pacquiao vs Mikey Garcia in Dubai on July 2021? on: May 16, 2021, 12:37:33 PM

Whether what angle you look, this is a good fight as no champion now who is willing to fight Manny. I don't think it's just about the money, maybe they still believe that Manny is hard to beat and that would tarnish their undefeated record. Well, Garcia is not anymore undefeated so he would take this fight, however, we cannot ascertain if this will happen since there's no official statement yet that it's already finalized.

Ryan Garcia is undefeated and so is Crawford and they are more than willing to fight Manny, it's not about the record it's more about the legacy, imagine being one of the guys who beat Manny and get him into retirement, Mikey is a perfect opponent for Pacquiao, I'm just afraid that he will imitate Marquez counter-punching style to beat Manny but let's see.

Two different set of fighters, although Marquez has laid down the blue print on how to beat Pacquiao, it took him a lot of fights before he figure Manny out. and Mikey is not a counter punching great, he loves to go toe to toe.

So I don't think that he will use this tactic or plan if ever this fight will push through. And I'm seeing that he will really go fight Manny and really test him in the early rounds, similar to what Thurman did. But it will be a costly mistake on Mikey (and just like the rest of the other fighters who think Manny is small and can't knock out/down them.)

It would make this fight more interesting if he would really go toe to toe against Manny as that's what he likes. Marquez beat Manny in their last fight but I would not say he is better than Manny because they fought many times and Manny beat him more than once. Some call it was just a lucky punch but let us not argue about that, what's done is done, and let's focus on Manny as he is now the active in the sport.
