I am actually tipping on Burnley here. Relegation battle is normal day in the office for them and they manage to clinch PL place usually with good results at just this part of the season. For Everton these are uncharted territories and they expected much more from this season. I imagine there is a lot of discontent and mixed feelings in Everton locker room and it is difficult to win away games against Burnley when you are not on 100%.

^It is not really possible to compare Chung or Sinner to Alcaraz. Chung had a brief time in his career when results went his way and got hyped up mainly because of his origins and not talent. Not many top tennis players from Asia and they need new Nishikori as soon as possible. Sinner is a good player but he is mainly counter puncher, something like Simon, never gonna bring in the crowd like big hitters and will look utterly ridiculous when he has a bad day..

Alcaraz is just that, big hitter without a week spot in his game. If he continues to develop as he should, he has future no.1 written all over him. Does not look like he needs mental coaching but if he finds a need for it in the future I am sure Nadal can give him some advice.

I am actually quite strict when judging players and not prone to hype but I see only good stuff for Alcaraz in future. For instance I am always saying that Medvedev does not have what it takes to be no.1 simply because of his mental state. It does not show often since he is such a good player but that is not body talk and mental state of the champion no matter what he achieves. Also when Raducanu and Fernandez played that final I immediately said they are one tournament wonder for the moment and that they will need a lot of work before results like that became their norm. Alcaraz on the other hand looks like he is already ready to attack top 10 or even top 5.

Atletico came and played like 6th division team. I get it you want to keep your net safe but when you have some quality in team you should at least try to be dangerous in counter attacks. Atletico wouldn't score yesterday even if game was played for 180 minutes, total anti-football and I for one will be very glad to see them on they way out from Europe.

What is worse I sort of can see the idea behind this jersey and it could have turned out much better. There is way too much white color on it but if they just done the same effect on the bottom edge and much thinner stripe it could have ended cool. In the end favorites got their victories and I am sure Liverpool is far more happy with the result. Odds were so low that there wasn't much value but still it is better than nothing.

I am already looking up to City reverse fixture, i am thinking this one should have better odds on City and they will be even bigger favorites now that Atletico has to try and attack.

I am trying to make a ticket and I can't find anything of value in these two games. They can end with almost any result from 0:0 to 2:2, especially since we have City-LFC derby on the weekend. I think Liverpool would be happy with a draw away from home if that means they are fresh for City. Too risky to place the bet on odds of just @1.4.

Atletico Madrid is capable of frustrating City for sure so we could have anything here as well. I think I am going to just watch tonight and place my bets on other sports.

They looked decent but they also looked like they would not score even if they played 3 games in a row. I can't believe how out of form Richarlison and DCL are. Did not watch whole game but Richarlison had a couple of great chances and squandered very cheaply. Goal they scored was a lucky deflection but as you said they should have scored a "normal" goal anyway so it about evens it out. Same can be said about Antonio, looks like he needs 20 chances for a goal at the moment but at least he has Bowen and others to bail him out.

You were right about high scoring match, I must admit I did not see result like this happening today. Newcastle was in solid form and they started to play better defense so i expected a tough match and Spurs winning 1:0 or 2:1 at most.

It was fun to watch and as you say, now I expect great things from Arsenal tomorrow.

He will not be ready and he does not even care. Maybe he will show in RG to collect the check and loose in first round. Clay is not his surface and that is why he choose to go for operation now. He usually plays just RG and one tournament before that. Hell, he played just 2 matches on clay in 2020 and lost both of them. 2021 was a bit better but record of 5/3 is nowhere near what top 5 players should have on clay.

He will try to get back into form for grass season where he has realistic chances for some points even though hard court is by far his best surface.

Tsimikas is a great addition to Liverpool squad and I think he would have much more minutes if he did not play at the position where only one guy can play and Robertson is top of pecking order on that left back. I watched him a couple of time when Robertson was not available and he was solid defensibly and looked very good going forward with good crosses almost every time. I don't think LFC has to worry about LB position in near future.

Just read that some supercomputer or whatnot is giving Liverpool 80% chances to lift the title this season. I would put it as 50:50, City with small points advantage and Liverpool with a bit better form.
