4481  Other / Off-topic / Re: [GUIDE]TWIENDS.COM - get countless followers on Twitter (for Beginners). on: June 07, 2019, 08:23:01 PM
snip

I tried to do my best and share my knowledge about this service with all members who are struggling to build their social media account, Twitter to be exact.

I tried to do it in a normal way for a few years and was able to gain only 250 followers.

I think this guide is really detailed and if you have any questions or something to share then please do, but if you want just to spam my thread, then I please you to stop immediately.
4482  Other / Meta / (GUIDE) How to easy change the appearance of Bitcointalk to dark (Dark Theme)? on: June 07, 2019, 08:12:22 PM
I just found how to change in a very simple way the appearance of Bitcointalk to the "Dark Theme".

I was looking for a way to do it for a long time, and even found tutorials, but scripts and quite advanced knowledge with additional programs were always needed.

Today, I accidentally came across a few of these threads about Dark Theme and in one posts, I read about a plugin, which is called STYLISH.

Literally, with just one click, one can change the look of each web page and there are a variety of themes to choose from.

As you can see, the Bitcointalk forum looks much better and reads better (at least for me).

What's more interesting, when one is writing a post or edit something, the text is yellow, which makes writing very easy and does not strain your eyes.

Here's how the post summary looks like, it is much more transparent and much better to read.

On the above screen, you can see how it looks like to write a new or edit an old post. These yellow letters are much more visible and don't make eyes tired after a few hours of reading. In my opinion, the posts are better visible and easy to read. In addition, there are several types of dark backgrounds and you can choose the one that suits you the best.

STYLISH - plugin for Chrome is simply great and very easy to use.

There are so many themes in STYLISH that you don't need to share URLs with the service for more, in the main settings, after the first download, deselect this function.

Uncheck this box after installing and starting for the first time!!! Don't lose your privacy if there is no need to.

I tried both settings and there is almost no difference. This is just a hook that gives STYLISH creators more ways to monetize on this plugin.

The themes are the same and there are a lot of them, I even think that the smaller choice is better. If there are too many themes, I scroll too long and I can not choose one. I thought it was worth adding.

In the end, once again look at the appearance of appearance, when it is changed to a dark color. In my opinion, it is much more transparent and does not strain your eyes. I think I'm starting to repeat, so it's definitely time to end.

STYLISH.

- Firefox;
- Chrome;
- Android.

I already mentioned that if you use Stylish, disable the collecting of data after the first download in the installation menu (there will be a popup), but I found that there are even more settings in the extension settings tab. I made a screen to make it as clear as possible. Please unselect these two settings to fully stop URL sharing.

...It seems they are using a new url for their scam...

Thanks for the update. I think they are protecting themselves from the Google bots and change already reported links.

it is obvious that they use multiple links for this scam and from what I see they target foreign languages.

The best way to be safe is AdBlocker or Brave browser with all these privacy tools built in.

I would never spot this scam but I was using a fresh install of Firefox and there were no add-ons installed.

This is just insane that Google let them advertise these links until they are not reported multiple times.

Last time it took a few long weeks to take this site down. I think is too long especially when I have reported and informed Google correctly about this multiple times and I know that other members did this same.

Is just a conflict of interest and Google will act like until now because this is a lot of money for them.

I think advertising is the main profit maker for this moloch giant business.
4485  Local / Polski / Jak zmienić wygląd Bitcointalk na ciemny (Dark Theme)? on: June 07, 2019, 05:37:27 PM

A poniiżej screen z wątku.

4486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is a node, full node, masternode and how to make money from it? on: June 07, 2019, 05:11:24 PM
...let me know if this suffice, if not i will dig for more information for you.

Sorry that I needed so much time to answer but as you know I had hard times lately on the forum and needed some time to catch up.

This guide is great but I would rather look for one with windows setup because this is the operating system the majority is using.

Of course, Ubuntu and Linux are better suited for this but I don't have enough knowledge about these systems.

4487  Local / Polski / Re: "Nie ma giełdy ani pieniędzy. Niektórzy stracili na kryptowalutach nawet 60 tys" on: June 07, 2019, 05:04:29 PM

Dlatego zawsze zanim zacznę korzystać z nowej giełdy, to dokładnie ją sprawdzam.

4489  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Over the Counter (OTC) Cryptocurrency Trading - Explained in Details. on: June 07, 2019, 04:45:55 PM
...I wonder why the site has a daily limit and a user needs to be KYC verified for +$10k daily. Weird for a DEX...

As you see I have only quoted another member which shared this information in our local community.

TBH I haven't checked them because I trust that what is written is the truth.

From what I know this is an OTC market on based on Komodo with such limits to bypass KYC.
4490  Other / Meta / Re: [Suggestion] Disable rights to edit Subject titles if posters are not OPs on: June 07, 2019, 10:40:43 AM
I'm a bit confused here. Is the thread about thread titles that appear in the index?... Or is it about the subject text for a post within the thread? I believe those can only be edited by the poster and mods, and can't be edited by the OP...

If I understand correctly  "about the subject text for a post within the thread", those which can only be edited by the poster and mods, because this makes a way for trolls to abuse the title and OP can't do nothing, only report to moderators.
4491  Other / Meta / Re: Dark theme for Bitcointalk(CSS only) on: June 07, 2019, 08:45:02 AM
If anybody wants to have this dark theme but don't know how to do it I would suggest using Stylish addon which is available for all browsers.

With a click of a button, you can change the theme for multiple black once and not only.

I never thought it could be so easy, work perfectly and is totally free.

Stylish - Custom themes for any website.

- for Firefox;
- for Chrome;
- for Android.
4492  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Dark Theme on: June 07, 2019, 08:31:53 AM
Stylish add-on for Chrome is just great, super easy to use.

Inside is already so many themes that there is no need to let them know all the URL's one is browsing in the main setting of the addon after the first download.

Don't do it uncheck the box when installed and started for the first time!!! Don't lose your privacy if there is no need to.

I tried both settings and there is almost or indeed no difference at all. This is only a catch to give away your privacy for them to monetize on the addon even more.

Themes are this same and there are plenty of them, I even think that less of them is better for the faster choice. If there are too many themes I keep scrolling for too long and can't get my pick.

I thought it will be worth to add.
4493  Other / Meta / Re: [Suggestion] Disable rights to edit Subject titles if posters are not OPs on: June 07, 2019, 08:14:58 AM
It is true that this feature is rarely used. Personally, I have used it only a couple of times during all these years here.

TBH I haven't seen any abuse yet, but I can agree that this feature could be used by trolls for their own needs.

If I'm wrong and there are many examples where members abuse this feature, it might be better to reduce it if possible?

If hardly used function is misused or abused, it's better to turn it off if possible, I assume.
4494  Other / Meta / Re: Lightning Network board on: June 07, 2019, 07:43:58 AM
...LN has a lot of features that justify this, and there's even more to come.

There is no doubt that the Lightning network is a complicated technology, as evidenced by the lack of naming in foreign languages for many elements and processes occurring in it.

Many times I see "free translation" added when I read tutorials, guides, articles in foreign languages about LN.

Personally, I was looking for materials about LN yesterday, after reading a very twisted article in which there were many interesting but unanswered questions.

A separate board is a very good idea because it will be very easy to search for help or materials on this topic. Many people are interested in LN and need detailed information and support.

There is a good chance that a specific community will be built around the Lightning Network, from insiders and supporters of this new board.
4495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][INV] iBItt - CRYPTO EXCHANGE, ATMs & MONEY Transfer 🌎..! on: June 06, 2019, 11:46:14 PM
...sorry to say but this is not an answer I was expecting...

What is even better I was banned from the Telegram group when asked this question: "when INV will be finally integrated to all these products Investa offers?".

Which is, of course, one of yours Crypto mania.

I don't know what is happening but this is not the best sign when the team starts to ban the oldest supporters when they ask hard questions.

This is not my fault that there is no use for INV token and looks like is not integrated into any products despite there are many examples provided in the white paper, together with an explanation that the main value will be from this integrations.

To ban me for this question after so many time and efforts for Investa, I will just leave with no comment.

4497  Local / Polski / Re: "Nie ma giełdy ani pieniędzy. Niektórzy stracili na kryptowalutach nawet 60 tys" on: June 06, 2019, 10:12:40 PM
...Ktoś z Was miał pecha tam stracić pieniądze?

can i ask you which swap guide you have follow to recover your whole MTNC balance?

This is the exact same procedure as many times before when Ideaupdtater uploaded a new bootstrap file after chain splits.

There is a guide above if you would like to use the cmd command line or the old way to change the bootstrap file and wallet.dat in the AppData Masternodecoin folder.

Or where it is installed on your computer.

I am still not staking and will update tomorrow if something changed.

4499  Other / Off-topic / Re: 1 merit per applicant who find qualifying posts or topics on Scam Related Issues on: June 06, 2019, 09:42:13 PM
I have a suggestion.

Maybe this thread would be more alive and many more members will be interested even in creating brand new threads only for this purpose if the award would be higher.

Let's say 5 merits.

I was the winner of one of the editions and know that I expected more merits despite there is 1 merit in the thread topic.

People are like that, we always want more and maybe this is something to consider.

This is just a suggestion because I see this thread catch no attention lately after a good start.

I am very happy with my one merit and appreciate it.
4500  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Charity Fund on: June 06, 2019, 09:25:04 PM
This is a really good idea Hhampuz and Bitcointalk needs more charity events.

Some time ago I accepted a challenge in the Ice bucket challange ... meh ... Rank up challenge ! thread and had to donate to some charity after I lose the bet.

Thought it would be great to donate to some charity related or run by Bitcointalk community. I have found out that there is almost nothing on the forum.

I was sure that there will be plenty of charity events to choose from when I started to look was really surprised that nobody is actually doing this, taking into consideration how much money is involved around the forum.

There were actually only two events at this time from which one was a ticket raffle if I can member correctly.

End up donating to Bitcointalk Charity Program - Give Hope to Everyone $ 1 Is A Big Thing For Them because there was no other choice.

Actually, few other members who had to fulfill the bet and donate to charity were not able to find anything here on Bitcointalk also and donated to charity outside the forum. Exactly to Binance charity already mentioned in this thread.

There should be a charity event which will be connected to the Bitcointalk forum and widely recognized.
