and to clarify the media fud
skip to 30 minutes and 15 seconds of the same video.
bitcoin is not illegal
government is not banning users or businesses from sing bitcoin
but central banks will not DIRECTLY purchase or use bitcoins for the BANKS internal investment portfolio of services
they are allowed to however work with businesses so that businesses can send funds to customers

so can people stop basing their Western investments on Eastern FUD

Yes indeed people should start to think about their country markets and do not listen to rumors!

We are not a sheep we are homosapiens we should think! We should use our intelligence and intellect.

Like I hear myself. I was telling that so many times.

People basing trading Bitcoins on China like China is a "determinant" of Bitcoin value - it is not!

But this thread is more about a joke Smiley a joke from 1st of April from Coindesk.

They would eat all of us and create their own DinoCoin!

I am so sorry to say that but dinosaurs cannot use any wallet app.
Just try to imagine a Velociraptor sending Dinocoins from android DinoCoin Wallet...
Not possible.

4489  Other / Off-topic / Re: A great day for humanity: Drone problem solved! on: April 25, 2014, 10:02:06 PM
One of the greatest pests of our times: the Drone.
They make noise, they spy on you and they shoot rockets at you while you are not suspecting it.

Of course there are multiple solutions. We have the telescopic fly swatter:

Or the Redneck solution:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGLxKXtkHpY

Both have their obvious downsides of course. Luckily Lockheed Martin now has the final solution: GIANT SPACE LAZORS!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=l5qKSKsfUPM

I send Lockheed Martin an email asking if they ship to Jemen and Waziristan, and whether the device works with a 15W diesel generator.

I like the Redneck solution Smiley Smiley seems like working! Smiley hehehe.

But ammo is too expensive ... perhaps the telescopic fly swatter could be a cheap way to help us too.
4490  Other / Off-topic / Re: Underwater Structures Around the World on: April 25, 2014, 09:58:56 PM

4492  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: BitWallet Unconfirmed Transaction ... 350$ !!!! on: April 25, 2014, 09:50:29 PM
Ok I read your PM.

I dunno how your wallet app works as I never was using it.
But you forgot to set transaction fee.

You put 0 BTC fee and minimum fee should be at 0.0001BTC

your transaction is not confirmed. It will be confirmed in ~6th block from now.

Next time make sure you will put 0.0001 MINIMUM transaction fee.

And you still seems to have those $500 on your wallet. 1.06BTC
4493  Other / Off-topic / Re: Reasons Why Google Sucks on: April 25, 2014, 09:42:06 PM
I think Google is something amazing. But indeed some features that were removed I remember as a great ones...
I remember that old youtube was much much better ... Smiley

but anyway ... I think Google rules Smiley (but ... I think what they are heading to is dangerous for our privacy)

I do not believe in instant ice cubes as I was many times using boiled water to make ice cubes and maybe it was faster - I dunno Smiley but for sure not instant.
4495  Other / Off-topic / Re: heartbleed bug on: April 25, 2014, 09:36:06 PM
The heartbleed bug isn't exactly easy to understand (from a technical perspective)
Yes, it is:

Hue hue. Good one. Smiley That's the point.

I cannot believe this bug ever come out ... Crazy Smiley

Security fail Smiley
4496  Other / Archival / Re: removed on: April 25, 2014, 09:21:12 PM

4498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just bought my first tangible thing with bitcoin - so exciting on: April 25, 2014, 09:15:52 PM
I really didn't expect it to be this exciting but it was. Maybe that says a lot about me.

I just bought a motherboard from scan.co.uk and paid with bitcoin. When I clicked "pay with bitcoin" I got this screen:

I opened mycelium on my Nexus 5 and bam, paid. Eight minutes later, I got transaction confirmed. I feel like I've made history in my home, which is true or I'm totally deluded. I replenished the bitcoin from bittylicious and that is already in my wallet. Can't wait for the day when I don't need to do that anymore...  Grin

Good job! Smiley I wish you will buy a lot more stuff using your bitcoins Smiley

Spending Bitcoins on things can be addicting Wink)

Good luck!
4499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PBOC made it clear it wants btc below 3000CNY (480usd) on: April 25, 2014, 08:27:09 PM
for whatever strange reason, it thinks that's the red line.

I can't figure out which one is funnier if this happens by the end of this year:
  1 btc= 479 usd, or
  1 btc= 4800 usd.

I prefer $4800 but everything is possible.

In my opinion China maybe want something - it doesn't mean they will have it. Isn't?
4500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Central bank of China criticize two banks in China for not stop business ...... on: April 25, 2014, 08:24:01 PM
actually, it's means, in a wrods,China government want to ban bitcoin just said before, and we believe chinese could hardly find a way
deposit money to exchange or even withdrawal money from exchange in the near future.

At least, people in China can still use the ATMs and do p2p trades.

I missed a key update:
Do the Chinese BTC atm's have fiat coming out, or only going in?

so far as I know atm = money out possibility should be main one Wink
