4482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 16, 2020, 03:53:16 PM
But Real Madrid's victory against Athletic Bilbao was a very easy to get, because in the first half of the match, Athletic Bilbao players
received a red card. So with the quality of Madrid players beating a team of only 10 people is easy. So it's no wonder Real Madrid beat Athletic
Bilbao with score 3-1.
Madrid winning was inevitable that I agree but, I won't say it was such an easy win like you project it to be. If you watched the game, you would see that Athletic Bilbao never made the game an easy win got them. They did their best to absorb Madrid's pressure but, were worn out towards the die minutes with a brace from the French man Karim Benzema. From a goal down with 10 men, Athletic Bilbao attempted a come back instead of defending like most teams would do against a team like Madrid but then, Madrid having the upper hand carefully worked their way through the defense line, first with a header and later a well placed ball to the far corner of the goal post to claim an undeniable win.
4483  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Success comes after failure. on: December 14, 2020, 11:28:34 PM
A successful person knows no failure just as a failure knows nothing as success. Failure comes only when you stop or quit the process. Should you persist and continue in trying to overcome your obstacles or challenges and eventually succeed, then you never experienced failure.

Individuals who mostly fail to archive a goal are not individuals who doesn't try at all though, these are the worst set of persons, they are the individuals who ware out in the process. It all depends on how you view and feel your obstacles. If you view them as that which is bigger than you, it would subdue but, should you view it as just another challenge that you must go through to archive another greater goal, then your just as likely to succeed.
4484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 12, 2020, 08:04:59 PM
the bayern game is now also over. another unpredictable matchday in the 1. bundesliga Roll Eyes
bvb loses at home against stuttgart 1-5 and bayern plays at union 1-1 Shocked
tomorrow leverkusen can become the new leader of the table with a win against hoffenheim
With these results in the bundesliga, gambling loses are going to be massive. So much for a high expectations on these supposed top teams. They both surprised everyone. Dortmund not only lost but a 1-5 goal defeat in a home game to Stuttgart was the hight of it. That of Bayern Munich is a bit understandable, playing a 1-1 draw from away with Union Berlin though unprecedented for a team that has been known for having a high scoreline on their games especially against mid tier teams but they shared points at least and it still counts.
Leipzig had just been the most consistent team for me in Bundesliga as they claim yet another 3 point after winning 2-0 against Werder Bremen. Now they equate Bayern in points and I'm sure Bayern is got to be on the lookout, having been seconded by a much formidable team like Leipzig.
4485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Different opinions about bitcoin on: December 12, 2020, 11:51:58 AM
Some people say bitcoin is like gambling (my answer: they have no understanding of bitcoin and the more empty the brain, the more open the mouth)
This is an idea conceived based on Bitcoin trading. It's just another way of displaying ignorance and lack of understanding on what goes on in bitcoin trading but, there is nothing wrong with not knowing should you desire to know.
One major difference between gambling and Bitcoin trading is the fact that, trading can be accurately predicted in contrast to gambling which remains a game of luck!
Upon identifying certain patterns on a trading chart, a trader can determine an entry point, exist point, how to go about placing stop loss and take profit and more of things like that. Trading have got instruments to aid prediction but all these are lacking in gambling. Your only alie is your experience with the game.
4486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we all not have our own bitcoin? on: December 12, 2020, 11:41:31 AM
I think everyone in the world should make a coin with the same supply.  That would be more legit than working for another mans supply... Or have 1 coin we all earn at the same rate upon creation of supply.
It's your idea and I like the fact that, you think, it's just a thought in your head. It's cool but, I'll like to ask you this @OP, should everyone have their own coin, what would be the point?
Who gets to get what out of the next persons supply?
A lot of crypto enthusiast had tried and we see lots of them failing up to this moment. A visit in the bounty section aside from the fact that, most of the projects there are scams but the few legit once that scales through usually don't last. It sells for a while and once it's market cap isn't reached, it begins to experience a gradual decline and just like that, it's off the market.
I don't see a point in everyone owning their own coin.
4487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EFL English Championship League Thread on: December 11, 2020, 09:18:04 PM
I'm surprised you made a thread for this league, it's a good one though and I hope to be visiting it for some prediction tips because, this is one of the leagues that, I find it rather more difficult to predict. I'm often sentimental and emotional over what happens here. I very much view the teams here as a struggling team with relatively equal strength which explains for the frequent 2.00-3.00 odd ranges and with a single goal which is targeted at joining in the EPL, teams here are pretty much serious all the time I don't just know what to make out of them for a bet.
Hope this thread would produce tips to change that for me.
4488  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is your unforgettable experience in trading? on: December 11, 2020, 08:43:09 PM
I don't know but, I suddenly started feeling that, it's always going to be about the loses more than the profits for the unforgettable trading experiences and it's awful why or how I feel this way.
Is it a psychology thing, like your loses hurts and stick with you in contrast to the actual profits which brings joy!

Anyway, my trading experience centered on a particular day I was trading and I believed my analysis was on point so, failed to guide my trade with a stop loss or take profit, my confidence was pretty much up and suddenly, ran out of data. Prior experience as at then with my little confidence gave me far two much comfort so, I didn't subscribe to a data plan immediately but paused for a few hours and before I could get back online, I was damaged more than I had expected and it surely turned my emotions up.

Lesson: never be too confident about your trading strategy or analysis. Stop loss is a necessity.
4489  Other / Meta / Re: How to hide boring topics? on: December 11, 2020, 07:44:28 PM
How would the script or algorithm know what you find boring? Grin

Individually, but there is so much junk that even AI would not be wrong in picking boring stuff Smiley
Seriously I don't suggest using any AI crap, just regular human beings and manual +/- , that would work just fine to make our own list of hidden posts.
Nope! There is no way a setup could determine if a content is boring or not and be correct about it. Even if you've run some codes that could understand a set up or group of recurring phrase and automatically avoid or skip through, you've got to face the fact that, these phrases can still occur within a more useful topic or thread and as such, you just might have by that action missed a vital or much needed information. So, it very much goes down to you, going through the individual contents and skipping them or maybe upon noticing a particular sh*t poster, you just ignore all along.
4490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lets imagine world without fiat currency on: December 11, 2020, 07:35:37 PM
As much as we enjoy bitcoin, going cashless is going to come with lots of difficulty. Starting from network, not everyone might be technologically inclined or have needed gadget and more of things like that. Fiat really helps. Not having fiat would be more like going to out savage ways of existence. In Africa where I'm from, we were taught of the trade-by-barter system of exchange, where you exchange a commodity for a more pressing commodity like palm oil for yam and stuffs like that.
Yeah, cryptos would be in existence but, in terms where gadgets or network becomes a challenge, then what?
4491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin ever be use as other country currency on: December 11, 2020, 07:22:01 PM
I seriously doubt that @OP. I don't see a way Bitcoin can become a nations currency no, it won't happen. A country's currency is an ID of that country or nation and as such, it would feel so wrong having Bitcoin tied to a single nation. It won't attain that universal nature of it and it would be very much a way of centralizing the idea of Bitcoin which puts it in check or under control and Bitcoin is supposed to be a decentralized network so, it would be going against the ideas that surrounds Bitcoin.
4492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs GOLD on: December 11, 2020, 06:25:20 PM
I feel there is a clear distinction between the two @Gold and Bitcoin in terms of the fact that, one is tangible and the other isn't that's in terms of it's physical nature but, should you look at it from there functionality aspect and what they represent, they have quite the same function.
Looking at currency, you would note a transition up to the paper money or regular fiat but then, one currency that refused to wear out and still remains valued for several reasons is Gold. It's become an asset with a store of value for the fiat currency and this is the position Bitcoin occupies today in respect to other cryptocurencies in the cryptosphere a midst serving as a currency as well.

Now this explains why, the gold market would be affected ad the stability and reliability of Bitcoin has given the crypto aware persons or crypto enthusiast an alternative to choose between Gold and Bitcoin coupled with the fact that, bitcoin is highly volatile and it's worth still continues to appreciate. But then, Gold isn't going to crash with regards to this fact, it will still serve.
4493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I quit smoking and buy Bitcoin every week on: December 11, 2020, 06:13:26 PM
It's a mind blowing goal and very healthy habit as opposed to your previous or soon to be ex-habit right there. You've done your math's and all you need now is to keep to it and it's going to be difficult I believe, especially if you've been addictive but, your new passion and choice of investment will surely pay off, I can tell you that.
I wonder at what point you rationed this out and what made you?
An insight into this would help some others who are into some unhealthy spending realize how much they waste sticking to a part that leads no where. Good one @OP, you stand as an inspiration to all with an unhealthy habit now.
4494  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Easiest/most secure way of destroying documents without a shredder? on: December 10, 2020, 11:43:36 PM
usually best way is small amounts at a time. if you ever burned a single sheet of paper. nothing is left. if you burn whole ream (500sheets) of paper some survive unless you break up the wad.
same goes for water. need to break it up.
This is evidently true. To me it all depends on you and how much importance you attach to the said documents that needs to be totally erased. The easiest and fastest ways doesn't seem safe and as such, I'll recommend what I do and it's been effective for me though, it's a very slow means as, you can't do that all at once to a ream of papers and that is, you've got to shred it and not just the regular lateral pattern but both horizontally as well to form a check or net patterns and then, you dump it randomly at different locations based on how your movement is scheduled for the day. It would take more than being a genius to put the pieces together.
4495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: December 10, 2020, 11:20:15 PM
maybe because AC Milan only uses 2 main players
so the match looks balanced.
Lol, this statement just make it seem like, Ac Milan were not out for the competitiveness of the game but a mare fulfilment of what I'd required by FIFA and it also portrays Sparta Prague like a weak team!!! I hate to see them that way. Though they lost, they had quite a game and I don't believe is due to AC Milan haven't reserved a couple of players.

I was surprised to see the Belgian side Antwerp which they are equally to be called underdog qualifying for the next round in group J, where the Bulgaria giant Ludogorets Razgrad got zero point, Ludo might at least scaled through even to 2nd position because of their champions league experience, its a shame on them winning no single match or draw any at all.
It's in leagues such as this that the champions are really defined though, it has a lot to do with your grouping as a club though but then, every team can be top dogs in there league, not having to earn a point in leagues such as these shows how much work needs to be done on the team.
4496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: December 10, 2020, 08:52:32 PM
They are also very good in this season. Ajax needed to win the match to continue on CL. They had every advantage (like playing in their home stadium etc.). But interestingly, they didn't score a goal and lost the match in the end. Football can sometimes be very surprising.  Grin
Yes, football is full of the unexpected ( you never can tell what is to come or happen untill the final whistle is blown) and that's what makes it an interesting game. The more reasons why there should be no manipulation or fixing of games by any person or body. But yeah, should we look at the do called advantage like playing from your home, is it really an advantage?
Especially in this era of the pandemic where you've got zero encouragement from the fans. For a fact, pitch don't score goals plus, they've got precised measurements across all stadiums. Though, some may argue that, there might be precised accustomed angles to a few players that makes targeting the goal more easier compared to opposition players but, it's just another claim.
4497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: December 10, 2020, 08:39:31 PM
Bundesliga teams in the Uefa Europa seems like the way to go for a bet. Bayern leverkusen trashed Slavia Prague 4-0 while, with 32 minutes on the clock, Hoffenhiem is already winning Gent in a 2-0 goal lead.
I was greatly disturbed with the AS Roma play this evening against CSKA Sofia. Roma played as though they had nothing to loose, the already qualified mindset kind of play. If only they knew people placed bets on them, I would have hoped for more. Arsenal has just been amazing and they did themselves proud this evening by wining yet another 3 point in a Dundalk 2-4 Arsenal. It's just awful Dundalk would be living without winning a match.
4498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: December 09, 2020, 10:53:44 PM
It is unbelievable that Inter was left behind in this group, I hoped that both Inter and Real Madrid would be the teams that would move to another stage, but I was surprised by the performance of the monchengladbach that managed to move to another stage.

City today was very inspired after the draw against the porto
Inter and Conte has no excuse what do ever not to have gotten a 3 point out of this game. They couldn't even get a goal and worst still, finishing last in the group after a lot of spending on transfers during the transfer season.
PSG and Manchester city had the best game for today's match day live. With Neymar scoring a hat trick while Mbappe a brace to secure the win for PSG. Liverpool on the other hand are lucky not to have lost. I didn't see the draw coming one bit. I must say, I underestimated midtjylland and they surely proved not to be just another team that shares 3 points.
I think the only way to save his job for next year after that tremendous spending spree is to win the SerieA.
I seriously doubt the possibility of Inter winning the Seria A even got the next two seasons ahead.
4499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will Bookmakers Suspend/Restrict My Account if I Profit in the Long Term? on: December 09, 2020, 07:14:17 PM
After going through OP and a couple of replies, I find it rather impossible and relatively funny for it to be that, bookmarkers can limit participation on an active account based on a frequent win from that particular account. In essence, all they want us to do is loose, loose and loose some more! It's so unfair should this supposed observation be true and come to think of it, all the adverts of betting platforms are always focused on winning, amazing odds and options do, restricting an account should the account be winning more frequent is absurd!
4500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: December 09, 2020, 06:52:00 PM
PSG is on fire this evening, it seems the postponed game favoured them after all. It's halftime and the scoreline is PSG 3-0 Istanbul Basaksehir. Still expecting more goals in this game though.

Ajax Vs Atlanta is been a disappointing game do far. It's halftime and the scoreline is still goal less, for a game I'm expecting a both team score.

It's Midtjylland 0-1 Liverpool. I kind of underestimated them #Midtjylland but, they seem to be doing a great job holding Liverpool down at least for the first half.
