4481  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think about borrowing against your bitcoin? on: February 28, 2021, 04:48:59 PM
I do not like borrowing debt with collateral like that, sure collateral could be a "thing" but it should not be money. In my country for example, if you show 1000 dollars as your money, you could get 2000 dollars in debt, but I do not see that as making sense and in crypto that is not that way neither because you may not get 2x of what you put in as collateral. But, showing your house? Your car? Your things could be a collateral and that would be fine by me.

Assets and money are different and I think crypto is money and not asset, there is a reason why it is called "crypto currency" and crypto should be approached like that.

I believe we should probably do the reverse, get regular fiat loan from regular banks and use that for crypto instead, that would be being in debt as well but it would also be something that would help us a lot as well if crypto goes up like it does all the time.
4482  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase valued at nearly 77 Billion in private markets on: February 28, 2021, 09:00:34 AM
And this is just the start, think about it this way, when facebook first started it was about 100-150 billion range if I am not wrong and they are now 700+ billion dollars as well, and this was from private to right now, the public was around 300 billion too, which is why I think this 77 billion for coinbase will definitely be closer to 200 billion when it is on first few days of the public one as well.

This is kind of a problem in the traditional markets as well, because there is a thing about how private markets allow rich folks to buy right now, and then when it becomes public the price is even higher so those banks who bought during private sale suddenly becomes richer right away, if I had a chance to buy the shares right now I would too but they do not give me that option. Long story short I think coinbase will be 500+ billion dollars easily in a few years.
4483  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN CORRECTION: PERFECT BUY TIME on: February 27, 2021, 10:29:44 AM
The sign is already there, as we can see the price goes down again to $45k so I wouldn't say that you are catching a falling knife here. So this is another great buying opportunity for us, although my buy order is around $42k-$43k, but I wouldn't mind stealing some at today's price. And I will add that we are happy to see some corrections at this proportion because bitcoin will bounce back real hard @$60k next month.
Unfortunately not a lot of people see it that way, I do agree that price will be fine, however I am a bit more relaxed because I believe it is not going to be that shocking even if it drops to a level like 10k because I am a long term investor and bought much under 10k so even that wouldn't be a big deal for me, yet I may get upset about how much money I could have if I sold at top I could profit so much which means I should be worried too but I am not.

Of course bitcoin could drop a lot as well not like we have a secret that we are not sharing, however it is obvious that with so much money coming into bitcoin constantly non stop both from regular people but also from huuuuuge companies, it is unlikely that it would drop too much.
4484  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never catch a falling knive on: February 27, 2021, 08:26:48 AM
Only a few traders know what they are doing and what they are going to face in this market, they know methods of surfing and cutting losses whereas the vast majority of others just rushed through this game without analysis, typically the trend towards trading leverage, a lot of people here love to take hold of this falling knife and liquidation messages continued to appear. Once bitcoin has crashed, it is best to get out of this spiral, don't try to calculate the recovery point, we can't know until we lose too much
Honestly I have been here for nearly over half a decade and I still have no clue what's going on, I was here before the 2014 peak of 1400 dollars for example, and I have seen so many peaks and yet I am still not rich. Basically trading is an art, and only a decent artist can make a profit from it, there are so many people who have been here since I have been and made zero money, whereas there have been some people who have been here for the past month and made a million dollars profit.

I have seen a guy who started futures trading just on September with 70k dollars that owns over a million dollars now, obviously it was a great time to get in but still I could have done that too, maybe not with 70k since I do not have that but I could have turned 700 to 10k at least, but I couldn't because I don't know how. This is why only good traders will make money, doesn't matter when you start.
4485  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning is better than Following on: February 27, 2021, 04:51:02 AM
I personally feel like learning is something that never stops, so you could start whenever you want because even if you study for 3 years, that doesn't mean that at the end you are not going to have to stop learning and just keep trading for 20+ years with that knowledge, you will have to keep grinding no matter how great you are, even if you work 20 years on it that doesn't mean you can stop.

This is why I believe you can start trading today right away without learning anything, and then while trading keep on learning as well, that is just how it should be like. Obviously it is not really ideal to start right away but you understand what I mean, it is not about when to start or when to learn, that is what I mean, it is about how you keep learning more and more and more all the time. Never trade and just make profit and think you are fine because you are not, the money you make right now could be your loss tomorrow if you do not keep learning.
4486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: February 26, 2021, 06:30:56 PM
It is incredible that Leicester got eliminated to Slavia prag, I know it was talked a lot already but I still can't believe it and I want to say how incredible that was as well. Plus Milan being tied to Redstar twice? That is incredible and I do not think that it would really be too shocking for us to handle something like that as gamblers who didn't see all of this coming, at least I didn't.

United had a tie as well but they had 4 goals before so I am sure they just didn't care, but that is another game we couldn't foresee neither, it is really incredible. Leverkuse losing to Young boys? They lost the first game as well so they are totally gone. Basically if you wagered on this leg of the Europa cup, you probably lost a lot of money, sure there could be some people who won but 90%+ of the people who wagered on this leg of the Europa cup you probably lost money.
4487  Economy / Speculation / Re: US Tether in the courts on: February 26, 2021, 03:53:35 PM
Basically they just took our money, dropped the price of bitcoin, collected more bitcoin at the bottom using our own money, failed to back up usdt to usd and they got away with it using only 18 million dollars. It is obvious that they were wrong and mistaken the moment they paid a fine, because if you are paying 18 million dollars as a punishment, you must have done something very wrong.

Even the idea that tether said they have 1 usdt 1 usd backing at all times, that is really the whole problem, they didn't and they ended up lying to people and there is no turning back from that. I feel like we are in a situation where anyone who owns USDT should want their USD back, if they could just sell their USDT and get bitcoin and if enough people do that, eventually there will be a situation where USDT will drop under 1 dollar because everyone is looking to sell it, and Tether will be forced to either buy them back or they would have to accept that they do not have the backing.
4488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 26, 2021, 12:09:35 PM
Virgil van Dijk is out for this season unfortunately. Liverpool are very bad on defense in the absence of him definitely. It looks like they will continue having this problem until the end of the season. Raul Jimenez is expected to return on early March which is a really good sign for Wolves. They really have had too much difficulty in scoring in the absence of him. He can help the team go back to their old condition after he gets well.
Are we 100% sure about that? I mean I don't know it is still possible but someone who is out for the season doesn't really start practicing with the team like that, maybe personal training at gym or something like that of course, that always happens, hell that happens for months and months if it is ACL injury, but usually nobody starts training with the team when they are still.. 8 months? Away from starting to play again, he has so much until start of next season, why would he train with the team if he is not coming back.

I am not saying he will come back, I do not know about the situation, last I heard was him being out for the season as well, maybe he is not even registered for the premier league for this year after those new transfers too? I really do not know the situation to be quite honest and I know he was fully out as well, only problem is, who starts training with the team now when he has 8 more months?
4489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 26, 2021, 11:17:12 AM
Nets is great and all but this is NBA, never assume a game is won before it starts, this is not like other sports, the team at the bottom could beat the team at the top in any game, it is all depending on luck a bit. I have seen too many times teams that are tanking and have like 20 wins by the end of the season beating teams with 55+ wins of the season by 20+ points, like whole fourth quarter being garbage time and this is really not uncommon here.

Nets have a huge chance to win, and Sixers have a great chance to win as well, they are both great teams and I am sure they could both win very easily, that is the thing that we expect and that is what I would wager as well if I wagered on them, but that doesn't change the fact that we could say things like "no doubt" when it comes to NBA because there is always doubt no matter who plays versus who.
4490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think the price of BNB will go above $ 300? on: February 26, 2021, 09:36:54 AM
I believe the realistic price for BNB would be 1000 dollars in the near future, that is of course a goal that BNB has to reach, it is not something we could achieve right away, it is not something we could have in a day, but it will be the next goal. I do not see 300 as a goal again, we reached that already and moved to 340+ dollars, I do not even see 500 dollars as a goal, remember how easy it was for ETH to go beyond 500?

It took a day to get there when the bull started, and I believe 1000 is realistic for BNB because there are so many people using BNB for so many things in trading. So long story short, as long as this defi craze continues and as long as people make money from it, I do not think that we would see anything shocking, it is going to be something as simple as it gets and we are going to reach that 1000 dollars with the next bull run which I think will be coming soon.
4491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will satoshi make a altcoin, giving us a second chance to get rich? on: February 26, 2021, 05:51:10 AM
Maybe the OP hopes that there will be another satoshi and create a coin like bitcoin so that he can enjoy the opportunity he had when bitcoin existed 10 years ago.
I agree with you that these rumors are inappropriate and believed by the OP to at least produce like the past when bitcoin appeared.

that will no longer be possible because bitcoin was created and that is the best result it has been. It's just how you can create an opportunity to have in order to enjoy what bitcoin has made. I hope that dream can come true and OP can be happy.
I think there are still ways to make that kind of return, even though no other coin will reach 1 trillion dollars easily, or maybe in a long long years, there is really no reason for us to give up hope just because it won't be that high, we could invest into coins that are brand new starting, there are pre-sale periods, funding periods, or early day periods where we could invest and they could eventually go 100x in the future after a few years, maybe 5+ years, bitcoin wasn't that awesome in 2014 neither, it was cool but there has been other coins that made more profit in their first 5 years, like ethereum for example.

So long story short, there won't be one more satoshi, there won't be any more bitcoins, but if the whole hope is to make a good amount of money, all you have to do is get into a good coin early on and wait for 5+ years in order to make a good return.
4492  Economy / Economics / Re: Great reset is done on: February 26, 2021, 05:11:53 AM
I might be wrong but I feel like the corona virus was more hyped by some countries and more than required pre-cautions were being taken. With my outmost respect to people who suffered, I feel like the governments played around the virus and got a good reason to print more money which is not causing the real troubles.

Massive amount of funds were collected in the name of corona virus relief funds and most of it was used illegally. Governments got a good cover to hide their holes behind, in the name of corona and play the victim game.

A good guide worth reading about the kind of scams going on, in the name of corona virus are well mentioned here: https://safety.google/securitytips-covid19/
The thing about that situation is that people are not really looking to uncover that at all, and they are fine with it, which is the biggest problem.

This is not about corona, every single precaution should be taken and everyone should wear masks and everyone should close shop if they have to, we should be very very very careful, you could never be too careful when we are talking about pandemic, BUT we are talking about money here, and that money is not really a part of the solution when it is stolen by government and I honestly think that people are not ready for trying to speak against government in a corona related money issue because simple answer would be "these people want to take away your corona help money!!! we helped you during corona and they want to take it away!!!" and you will be the villian if you ask where it is. That is why it is not simple to figure this out.
4493  Economy / Economics / Re: COIN PRICES CRASHING!!! SELL BITCOIN NOW!!!! on: February 25, 2021, 10:04:57 AM
Bitcoin price is dipping!  Sell into cash now!  When I got up this morning I noticed all coins were starting a dip on Coinmarketcap, so I went to my trading accounts and sold all my Bitcoin into cash.  When the dip bottoms out I will buy back in, but I'm not about to lose my profits I have gained this past month!

SELL NOW!!!  Help the prices crash the PHOQUE out so my gains may be even greater!!!  And yours too, I guess.
Worst approach in the world of trading.

Never saw any clear case to this level! He is like shouting all over, I am going crazy, prices dropping, "sell sell sell!""

Dude, you need to relax. I literally bought BTC at ATH prices too, and at the bottom prices too but never reacted to this extent. You need to calm your bulls and think wisely before pressing that "SELL" button in your trading.

You need to work up the math, the predictions, reasons why bitcoin is dropping. It could be for good or it could be for bad but in both cases you have to think wisely.

If you do trading this way, then you will always end up loosing your money in the process.
I think that is a troll, right? I think troll is not even the right word for it, I think he is writing this in a sarcastic tone, that seems a better approach to it. I do not know what to say or what to name it but the reality is that we are not actually that desperate are we?

I mean we haven't went down that much when you look at the numbers, we are still doing quite alright, and I feel like we should not be too scared of what is going on just yet. Sure if it drops under 30k I might be a bit scared and if it drops under 20k I will be full on scared, but going under 50k is basically nothing, we weren't over 50k just like 10 days ago or so, it was nothing. At the end of the day we are still handling it very well, but we should probably be recovering by now, the numbers looking like we are doing better, which I assume is a clear indication of 100k coming very soon, this is not time to sell, it is time to buy even more.
4494  Economy / Economics / Re: Yearly >Trendy< Crypto Markets, Is Crypto becoming like Tech Fashion? on: February 25, 2021, 09:47:17 AM
Looks like IEO's are making a comeback from 2019. Just look at Binance Coin BNB & Exchange coins  Shocked

I thought 2021 will be the year of NFT's Huh
I have to say IEO is not really making a "comeback" but changing shapes, there are now pre-sales going on in many places and teams are doing it themselves as well, sure they are working on binance chain or any other chain they want but they are doing it themselves as well, plus those pre-sales are going towards giving people the power and not just getting funding neither, you might get power over a very bad coin or you might actually have a power over a decent coin as well, I have seen governance becoming very very important for some of them.

So, basically speaking we are in a situation where we talk about something similar but not the same, it is a very different situation all together. This doesn't mean that we are getting fashion like cycles, it just means that we take old stuff and put new stuff on it and present it as a brand new thing to people.
4495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance as the third largest coin on: February 25, 2021, 05:21:34 AM
Thanks to Ethereum not working harder to put fees to a lower price and now Binance found a hole to enter the people's heart.
He said it, its not to overtake Bitcoin but more like support it more with the use of their own service.
But I think he is also playing safe here so that he won't be making a lot of fuss to pure Bitcoin supporters.
I think the goal for now is just to be number 2.
But who knows, he could grow that goal in the shadows.  Grin
I do not like the situation ETH is as well and I hate the gas fee's as much as the next guy but we can't really blame "eth not working harder" because eth is not something that works, it is a system, it is a blockchain thing, and yes there are developers working to make eip 1559 a thing and by July we are going to see ETH fee's as low as it has ever been, we are going to definitely make it cheaper and faster by this summer, but that is developers and they may do that in July, or earlier or later and we can't say anything since they are not owners of eth like how BNB is owned by binance directly.

Binance has that advantage, they are owned by a company and that company changes whatever they want to make it better, ETH doesn't have that advantage which causes late replies to problems and unfortunately solutions come later than they normally can.
4496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which is the best decentralized exchange Bisq or Uniswap? on: February 24, 2021, 08:16:59 PM
If you need to choose exchanges, you need to choose biggest ones and Bisq, Uniswap are biggest exchanges in their branch in the market.

Other DeFi decentralized exchanges after Uniswap are only try to repeat what Uniswap did. So far none of them can do better things and become bigger than Uniswap. I don't direct you to wrong direction but if you have big money, you can use very small of it to experience on a few DeFi decentralized exchanges. Do this to get experience only and with a hope that you can receive big income if their run airdrops for users. I don't advice to use big or all of your money to trade on small or new DeFi Dex.
Honestly I do not know bisq, never heard of it neither, so I went to coinmarketcap to see what the rank for it is between all dex and it was 37th biggest dex there is, so you are basically comparing 37th biggest dex with the third biggest one and that doesn't really makes any sense to me. Venus is the biggest one right now and anyone that got in earlier made a ton of money, insane amount of returns, however it was of course about the token, but if you want to trade, for ETH it is definitely uniswap, for BNB it is definitely pancakeswap, and if you can use venus that is great too.

I do not think that anyone would need anything other than that, it is totally mapped out right now, all others are fine too but they are not really that huge, I do not think that it really worths taking another look at the list. But surely, 37th biggest one is not the one I would go with.
4497  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next target 40-42k area before new ATH? See 2 year moving average on: February 24, 2021, 06:35:43 PM
Honestly this doesn't mean that we are going to see a whole new ATH that is incredibly higher, because we have already gone up so much already, it is already quite high, and there is really no reason for it to go up like it did from September 2017 to December 2017, that was nearly a 20x increase, which would put bitcoin to nearly a million dollars per bitcoin level and I do not think that will happen.

However this also doesn't mean that charts do not lie, this is what should happen ; the price of bitcoin should drop somewhere near 42k levels, which maybe that 45k we bottomed was, and then it should probably go up to 100k or so levels, that is what it "should" do of course, we do not know if it will do that or not, maybe it will not do that at all who knows. Hopefully this was a healthy correction and we are going to have a slightly higher all time high soon.
4498  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have you noticed that recently Bitcoin went up without big news? on: February 24, 2021, 02:30:02 PM
It is just simply a part of it where news and fundamentals does give out some significant impact in the market. There are lots of things that do happen behind without even us knowing on whats actually in the process.
Matter most with simple supply and demand when we do talk about moving prices because thats how the market works. If you are a trader or investors that do heavily rely with fundamental analysis then it is somewhat hard
to make out some positions because not all the times we are really seeing news and events.
Honestly that is the most scary part as well. Let's say that TA shows that bitcoin should 10x tomorrow, it is on a huge breakout deal and it is looking awesome, change bitcoin with a tiny altcoin if you want to make it more believable. If Elon musk tweets "this coin sucks it is so bad" you will see that coin crash anyway, even if TA showed a promising future. Or vice versa as well, it just doesn't make sense.

Crypto prices should not be depending on other people so much, it should not be so volatile because some people said some things, sure maybe governments could be changing it because if USA says they are considering banning bitcoin exchanges in USA, that could impact it a lot but that is about law and order, not about what some people think. Hence I believe crypto is still too volatile for now, we still need to grow about 20x become a bit more stable.
4499  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 suspending on 1st March 2021 :-( on: February 24, 2021, 12:41:22 PM
I believe only way that yolodice could ever be sold would be someone who is already huge in the crypto gambling world as it is could maybe take it with a lot of money, someone who has already successfully managed a casino before, and has the means to buy this one as well, creating both a good amount of purchase offer for ethan to consider it but also credible enough that everybody knows they will not be stealing people's money or something like that.

Only very few people I can think of like that who is not actively running a casino right now and that is either RHavar or Stunna, both managed to create world's biggest crypto casinos respectively for their time and both got out at the right time, both are very trusted, and both have the money for it. Yet I am %99 sure that they are not interested since just like Ethan they just wanted to get out.
4500  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss influence in massive dump on: February 24, 2021, 09:42:40 AM
Large players deliberately move the price towards a large accumulation of stop-losses in order for the price to accelerate downward as a result of massive triggering of these orders. You see, it can be compared to a room with many charged mousetraps. It is worth throwing a pencil on the floor, as one mousetrap works, bounces, makes another work, the third one, and so on. A chain reaction begins. As a result, the price will not stop moving until all nearby stop losses are triggered.
If we go with that analogy there will be a moment when the moustraps will end, either because there is no more mousetrap left or because one mousetrap will land on another that has been activated so all the non-activated ones will be safe, but in the end it will end and it is not a forever thing. Now what we have to try to calculate is this; will mousetrap will activate another or is it ending with the next one?

If we can calculate something like that we could actually do a great deal of profit from what is going to happen, if you think it will continue to go down more you could buy a short future and make a lot of money, if you think it will stop and go back up then you could buy long future or just buy straight up and make a good return as well. All we have to do is know when it will end going down because it is obvious that we are not going to see bitcoin at 50 cents right? So that means there must be a price where it will stop.
