4481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I make my token conform? on: August 11, 2020, 01:59:40 PM
Hi , I have a new Token to Launch But How do I make my token conform?

On what Blockchain your token will run?

If you will run an ICO, you need to establish your project to the concerned authorities there at your country for legality issues. Since it's a sort of fundraising and money is involved, you need to know every legal side of your project.

If just a simple airdrop or you want to just distribute it, then the process might be different which is I'm not sure. Anyhow, a token should always be introduced in a professional way starting from introducing it until you reach your goal.
4482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to get the name of ethereum wallet on: August 11, 2020, 07:41:53 AM
Is it possible to get user's ethereum wallets name from the address he is using?

Do you mean on what exchange or platform the address was being used or generated? Like for example, coming from Binance, etc.

Maybe to have a better response from the community, may we know what's the purpose?

There might be some other catch here so tell us what you like to do and let's see if there's a better way instead.
4483  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there no semi-pro desktop application for trading crypto? on: August 10, 2020, 11:54:53 PM

Honestly, this is the first time I saw a hotkey meant for trading purposes.

Isn't it way more convenient than using a trading bot wherein majority of trading platforms are supported?

No need to record keystrokes or something along those lines.
4484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: A List Of The Best Altcoin Casinos Of 2020 on: August 10, 2020, 11:34:02 PM

And a "BIG NO" to Bitstarz. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=307265
4485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter/Youtube Bitcoin Scams on: August 10, 2020, 11:10:18 PM
I know the most obvious solution is to educate people to recognize scams, but that doesn't seem to be happening.

Keep in mind that "scam thing" will be here forever. There is "NO WAY" it will be erased.

There's a big flow of money circulating in crypto so there is no way we can shut down those scam-relating things.

Just continue to spread awareness as much as you can. As you know, even for experienced people, they still fall on the trap because there's a human nature that tells us to take the risks ignoring what our common sense tells us.

It's not our mistake anymore if there are people who still fall on the trap despite having lots of experience encountering a scam. Just do our part to report those scams if we see it on social media or lurking on top of our favorite search engines.
4486  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why Huobi is the most secure Exchange? on: August 10, 2020, 10:50:54 PM

There's really no doubt the Houbi established a well-good reputation in the world of crypto-exchanges. They able to maintain their good name while in the process and the result is what we see today. They are heavily regulated and that makes it more "secure".

However, we all know that even for reputable exchanges, we can just put our 100% trust on it. But the good thing here is, it's worth putting some risks here, way better than just using random exchanges.

It's obvious that OP is shilling the exchange but that's not a big deal for me. After all, we have our own preferences on how to choose our preferred exchanges and not just following those shill-type posts.
4487  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone here Studying Econ ? on: August 10, 2020, 10:27:04 PM
If the teacher called on you to make a Crypto presentation to the class, would you do it?

Or have you even done a crypto based school project or paper?

It would be awesome that a teacher will ask this kind of presentation. It just shows that awareness is looking good as crypto is progressing. Good opportunity to promote crypto, at least even in front of a few audiences.

Anyways, I've become one of the speakers in some small seminars I have attended back then (way back mid-2016). The concept of the seminar is about crypto-awareness so more of basics and sharing our own view. I personally have known some of my co-speakers and they decided to invite me to share my views as a newbie (I've involved in crypto in 2016).

I'm not new at this speaking in front of a live audience so I'm just saying my personal views about why I involved in crypto and anything else. Hopefully, those people that are present and listened back then are now crypto-oriented people and continue their journey even they faced the 2018 big bloodbath in the crypto-market.
4488  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: in any whale or top trader here? on: August 08, 2020, 10:51:34 PM
is any top trader or good whale here??

i need someone who knows market good that he can tell me when to buy and when to sell.

Professional traders are very busy to the point that they don't have time dealing with this kind of offer. How much more if a whale or big groups.

So any offer you will get, you might consider them as "scam" or untrustworthy.

No way they will lurk here or if so, not interested at these.

i can pay but you need to be best and i need also someone who can tell me early before any big pumps might coming.

No pun intended but what you need is a crystal ball that tells what will happen in the future @ 100% and, not a whale. Even a top trader won't know if there's a big pump.

Whales activity on shitcoin? I doubt that they can literally gain an advantage shilling at those coins nowadays.
4489  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basic things that you need to know before starting in trading on: August 08, 2020, 10:31:26 PM

One can just truly understand the whole context once they are now under the actual feeling and pressure of doing trades. Honestly, there are lots of newbie traders who really study the basics, do's and don't, pros and cons, and each stuff they need to keep in mind once they do trades but in actual, those reviews and studies aren't actually applied in the situation.

Are they noobs? Definitely no. It's just that some got surprised that trading is not a joke to the point that all pointers they studied become useless.

So how to solve this? By gaining experience. Once these newbies become used to do trades, they can now understand those things that others are telling them to do. That's why for me, a simple advice not to be carried away is the only tip I'm giving to newbies (of course, including the basics). I like them to actually think of a way how to solve those problems they will encounter while doing trades whether technically or mentally.
4490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 08, 2020, 09:18:12 PM
But if a person is betting on horse races, does the person need to know a lot about horses and horse races or can one be a successful bettor based on other things (for instance, choosing a certain strategy based on the odds or simply reading what others say about an upcoming race)?

I do bet on horse racing via an administrative panel application during these long periods of the pandemic. All I can say is, there's no such thing as purely relying on luck and random guesses. For a newbie, they might be confused about where to place bets so to solve this, they will just follow how many bets were already put on a certain horse. Whatever the odds, they will pick to it (there's a countdown to place the bet).

But guess what, even with the most anticipated pick it's not an assurance that there's a high winning chance. The key to increasing the chance of winning is game familiarization and that includes awareness about the horse and its jockey. I'm amazed at these people who can analyze the horse before the race and I gained knowledge too because of this. Overall, I can say that knowledge about the horse is a necessary knowledge is a person wants to gamble in horse-racing for the long-term. If it's just about trying something new and doesn't have a plan to bet here for long then I suggest just rely on those odds.
4491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to trade ether as an alternative to Bitcoin trading. on: August 08, 2020, 08:55:11 PM

Alternative? Isn't it always a good idea to include ETH in our portfolio?

It's not about comparing its volume to BTC but ETH is highly considered as one of the top-performer coins of all-time. It's also not about ETH reaching $500, $1,000, $2,000 but you can always bet that a coin with a large market cap is worth trading.

And above all of this, it's always a good strategy to diversify our funds not limited to only a single coin.

4492  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise | August 2020 🔥 on: August 08, 2020, 08:35:25 PM

So there are people here who will just play on the site and if win, will withdraw immediately? Then deposit and so on? It's a NO for me unless I got hooked up at the site but still it will eventually lead me to do a casual withdrawal to save fees.

There is fees concern even before so I don't usually withdraw especially if I always used the site (yes, part of the risks). In that way, a) I can place my bet right away without depositing b saved withdrawal fees. Like for example in NitrogenSports, only Bitcoin is the accepted payment method here so I have now used to only withdraw whenever it needed.

This type of casinos are taking advantage of bitcoin increase in which they shouldn't have to do because they can just remain
their fees the same if they really care to their customers because if the customers will not like their actions then they will surely
transfer to other casinos that offers a fair fees even if the bitcoin prices continuos to increase.

Like what casinos? Fees now become concerned because they looked at crypto's fiat value.

Overall, it should always be crypto to crypto.
4493  Economy / Gambling / Re: A list of the best Keno casino games. on: August 07, 2020, 11:44:48 PM
Let me know which one you enjoyed, come see the article here: https://4king.com/best-bitcoin-keno-casino-games-of-2020/?preview=true&_thumbnail_id=49376

In fairness, those 4 sites on the list are having an active thread for discussion here in Bitcointalk. A good reference to those who are looking for reviews before trying those websites. As in most of the cases, most shared articles here involved crypto-gambling websites that are not popular here in the community.

Haz Casino
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5262136.0

Crypto Thrills Casino
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5254157.0

KingBit Casino
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5254141.0

BetChain
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=486491.0

Excluding BetChain, I have noticed that the other 3 are relatively new sites and just recently made their ANN thread a few month/s ago.
4494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: August 07, 2020, 11:18:18 PM
Do you think that scams harm Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies' reputation in the mainstream world? What will it take for people to distance scams from Bitcoin itself? Thoughts? Huh

Since then, yes. Crypto-related scams always lead to negative impressions especially at those people who are totally unaware of what bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a whole is all about. One good example here in my country where even crypto is now highly recognized (at least), I think 6 out of 10 people (around me) will say that bitcoin is always a scam-related thing.

Fortunately, no need to really enlightened them about the issue. As crypto progress, some people here, in fairness, realized that bitcoin is not a scam and it's just been used as a tool to do some sh*t.

This kind of impression about crypto is part of the process. People have different views so let them just think about what bitcoin really is, good or bad. After all, it won't affect the adoption.
4495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason hunters dump reward as soon as received. Trust Exchange etc on: August 06, 2020, 10:23:22 PM

The majority of those listed above is not actually the case why bounty participants choose to either hodl or sell their received tokens/coins as soon as they got it.

We all know that the bounty program runs for a month or so and receiving rewards also takes time* (providing there's a Phase II, sometimes the whole bounty run for over 3 months). Because of that participants are eager to get their reward as soon as possible to somehow feel the effort and works they did throughout the bounty period. Once the coin listed on any exchanges and established a volume, expect that these people will eventually sell their reward. There is also a mindset that there's no way these tokens will worth more than their ICO price so hodling is not even a good option.

Even back in the golden days of doing bounty, only a few care about the technology behind the project. The hype and ICO rating behind the project is always the number 1 factor for them to consider joining.
4496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing In Crypto Genuine Better Than Trading Forex on: August 06, 2020, 09:07:59 PM
Since January this year, I have been trading forex as a second passive income earning. After making some money in crypto I venture into trading forex, but I got my finger burnt. I wasted a lot of money without making a single profit. I regretted this venture. I have come into conclusion that investing in the genuine crypto project is far better than trading forex.  The risk in trading forex is higher than investing in a genuine crypto project.

Don't generalized everything just because you got screwed up. It's your fault for making it messed.

There is no such thing as "crypto>forex" and "forex>crypto". As an investor, you need to do something to make things right. That's the challenge.

And I'm curious about what you think on "genuine crypto project". Like what?
4497  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ProBit exchange and their poor support system. on: August 04, 2020, 11:56:43 PM
But of course, we don't need to get rush or being harsh enough to know the solution because of the busy life that probably they have, they can't make it prioritize.

For any exchanges or company, hanging their customer for 5 days (and counting) without any response is already unprofessional to me. At least during that period, they should now have a response for the majority of their received tickets.

As for me, when I'm in that situation, I'm making sure that I can flood them with my request on a proper basis like an everyday ticket bump. Not an assurance that I will receive a reply but at least I'm taking the chance that my ticket will be noticed.

Being on their busy life shouldn't be the reason why the response takes too long. They established a company so they need to provide good service to their users.
4498  Economy / Economics / Re: Second Stimulus check - What are you going to do with it? on: August 04, 2020, 11:29:45 PM
Some of the things mentioned by the OP like buying crypto might be possible, but not for now because the price of bitcoin is still quite high.

Depend on how much the money, there's no need to buy BTC as a whole.

Yes, I know there are anticipations that there might be a pullback but in terms of putting money on crypto, it's way better to pull that trigger right away if the purpose is continuous accumulation providing the current price behavior doesn't seem to show sign of any big pullbacks***.

But take note that there's no need to push or force for it if there's a difficulty handling the financial management. Focus instead on the investment wherein good results can be seen in the short-term.
4499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr. vs. Danny Garcia IBF & WBC Welterweight Title on: August 04, 2020, 10:41:09 PM
I personally think Spence should have taken an easy tune-up fight or too just to get the rust off. Going up against Garcia after such a long layoff and after recovering from an accident just isn't a great idea.

Errol Spence chose not to take up tune-up fights and want to go directly against a big name in his comeback. I don't know what he's thinking or where his confidence coming from but he's really sure that his performance prior to the accident is still the same as today. I also don't know why his camp approved this risky fight.

Well then, he wants to prove that all his doubters are wrong and take a screenshot of those statements questioning his capability to fight.

Should be a big match for me if ever the bout will happen at least another year more instead.
4500  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why can exchanges freeze account. on: August 04, 2020, 10:20:13 PM
Why are exchanges freezing accounts?
What can I do to make them not freeze my account?
What are the best exchanges to use?

1. Violation of terms, red-flagged accounts, suspicious activity, hitting the alarm, etc.

2. Read and follow Terms of Service. Make a habit too of reading the FAQ section.

3. Since you have mentioned, at least with no KYC, Binance should be your best choice. KYC is not necessary for Standard Accounts. However, to increase your account limit, you need to comply to their KYC.

As for the case you have shared, HitBTC exchange don't have a good approval rating here in the community. There are reports of closing and freezing accounts without a clear reason. We don't know the reason why your friend's account got frozen there but for a safe side, stay away on that exchange.
