Yes it is more complicated. Such is true of everything.
I think this recent article sums up the relationship between QE1 to QE3, Taper and M1 quite eloquently. Nevertheless, the world is full of opinions on Gold's trajectory. I think it makes the most sense to carefully watch the general opinion on investing in paper and other assets and monitor if and to which degree trust in the system starts to wane. Then and only then, PM's will have their finest moments. This moment could still be years away. |

If it's going to be 2011, you are literally going to forget all about Bitcoin in about 4 months, leaving any remaining BTC in the dust and forgetting to check regularly on the final capitulation dump which will be the excellent moment to get back in big time.
As long as you still check this forum daily, it's nothing like 2011.
Frankly, if someone reminded me to get back in at @1.98 in 2011, I don't know whether I would have put in extra funds at the time.
For the reason stated above, I very much doubt that we will have a 2011 fall back. I rather see increased competition with altcoins and other crypto initiatives (Ripple, JPM's ideas, etc).

I think devcoin foremost needs a proper functioning windows client. Its currenlty a toy for real geeks right now. That makes it a rather exclusive coin, but it should not stay that way.
Im on that I ported it over to 0.8.5 and now testing.. qt wallet will once my merged mine proxy finds some blocks and I can somehow test the reciever file. The qt wallet is so much better than the wxwidgets and I understand the importance so Im trying to get it up sooner rather than later. Thanks for taking the initiative! I wish I knew how to do these things,  . Sadly it's not my specialty. Does this mean we're getting a better look for the client too?  more stable... and looks better with qt.. same as bitcoin 0.8.5 the old one used wxwidgets which wasnt that great. I will need testing help for different platforms though. Any update on when we can test this client and where to get it? |

From this perspective, it seems to make sense that BTC remains stuck at around $500 for a year.
Watch the daily chart: when - after a longer period of stable prizes - prize collapses suddenly, get in with all you are willing to lose. It has been the trigger of the next rally 2 times already.

The site refers to Coinpayment for payment in DVC, but it seems you have to purchase first before seeing how much DVC must be paid. That is not very convenient. Am I right that a gift card comes at $107 as a minimum? |
