4481  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do we need blockchain technology? on: March 25, 2019, 09:20:35 PM
Yes, most of these projects are uncalled for and those who are running those projects are just doing it to make their money and that’s it. I see all these projects, but I still wake up and see that another person copied the same project, quite funny. And they be expecting people to invest in projects that are not unique.
With every new change in technology, we will see these kind of people who try to make money from the new change and the people who invest in those must have a clue on what they are really up to, but still they wanted to invest thinking they will make a huge return and nothing else. Some learn the hard way and some get lucky by earning huge returns.

The truth is that I have seen a lot of claims on what the blockchain can be used for, but none of them are being fulfilled at all. I have seen and heard a lot of things, but this one of election is what I’m just seeing today. I don’t know how that works or how exactly Blockchain is going to help to curb election rigging. The way it is built, that seems impossible to me, but I will do some research though.
It is a new technology and it will take some time for everyone to come up with new ideas on how to implement it so that the general public will have a good service in the end.
4482  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you need cash for everyday use? on: March 25, 2019, 09:08:39 PM
We are working on Golden Currency project, where we issue money that is available both in crypto and in cash form. We find the possibility to use crypto money in cash form as one of advantages. We expect that almost everybody anyway uses cash and in such a case the lack of such opportunity limits the potential use of currency. That's why we started the poll to prove it. Would be glad for your votes and comments regarding your view on such an option.
I understood your project but my doubt is, how you are going to deal with the regulation when it comes to paper currency and i am not sure any country will allow someone to distribute a paper currency to trade which is not backed by any government, it is true that cash or change is needed for every day use but we will use card in major shopping centers and not on local shops all the time.
4483  Economy / Economics / Re: Low BTC price is good for Bitcoins at the moment. on: March 25, 2019, 08:50:17 PM
Back to its origin, yes hopefully this 4000$ bitcoin will attract and encourage new comers to buy/believe that bitcoin is not just an investments. Its like fiat money that is being use in daiky life. We get another oppurtunity to not left the chance of havung btc with its lowest. Now on, i cant let myself not to ride on a lambo car
If you are planning to ride on a Lambo with the profits you make from bitcoin when it rallies, you need to have a big bank roll by now and i would like to know how much you have invested till now, so that you will reach your target for the Lambo Tongue . The current price will not attract new users, only if there is a major news regarding bitcoin new users will try to invest, for the bulls to get excited we need to break some major resistance we have right now and i do not think we will see that happen in the second quarter.
4484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Huobi vs BNB on: March 25, 2019, 07:15:03 PM
Hey guys! What are your predictions on Huobi token. Will it beat BNB? Check the analysis below.
I am not sure whether Huobi will beat BNB in valuation, the transaction volumes are huge in both these exchanges, but there is a lot of support for BNB, but it is not possible to predict how the market moves, Chinese exchanges earlier used to manipulate the market and hence it is difficult to predict at this stage and i wont be surprised if we see a sharp rise in price for Huobi token.
4485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC on ESPN 2: Barboza vs Gaethje Prediction and Info Thread on: March 25, 2019, 06:47:25 PM
I have noticed, that it is becoming common to put a women fight on on the main card.
Few years ago women in ufc were something new, now almost every event has 1-2 fights.
There were not much opportunities for women earlier but now they have plenty of options with every small organizations started allowing women fights and more women are coming into MMA and so is the reason you see more fighters but only a few are world class fighters but in the future things will change, the past champions were great in their respected sport until they shifted their focus to MMA and now we will see a new breed of fighters with mixed skill set like Valentina.

Barboza v Gaethje is a full on brawl without a doubt and Gaethje will march forward no matter what and i doubt Barboza will get the timing and distance to land his trademark kicks, someone will fall in the end for sure, never a boring fight when Gaethje is fighting, he is a good wrestler but never tried his basics inside the cage which is madness.
4486  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should we call it a trend or a wave? Or something else? on: March 25, 2019, 06:09:27 PM
So basically last year was full of great ups and downs, but this years bitcoin doesn’t have that amazing news or the great interest from the people who doesn’t invest or doesn’t own, like last year my father came and asked me about btc (when it went higher than 10k$) but now it is just back to the normal state which is only interest from the holders.
So let me re ask my questions: Do you think it was just a trend? Or it is a wave that has ups and downs, and will come back again?
Or do you think it is just something normal to happen since people believed it is just a trend?
You can call it a wave or what ever you like, just take a look at all the markets that deal with finance and i am sure you will not see any market that is booming all the time in the upward direction, every market will have a cool off period after every rally and it will continue like that in the future too, so never expect any market to up all the time. Wink
4487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think should I buy for 1 year? on: March 25, 2019, 05:13:14 PM
After 3 months I will be in the army for a whole year. And I came to the conclusion that I need to buy something for $1000. This is not an important amount for me, but at the same time, I want to come home and with probability to raise this amount. I want to hear the opinion of experienced people, it will also be interesting to look at this topic in a year. Who advised what)
Bitcoin is always my go to coin if i want to invest something in this market and if you have the patience to wait a couple of years then you will get the most return than any form of investment when the market starts its bull run, like any other financial market we cannot predict when the bull market starts, but it is around the corner after almost a year and half of bleeding and now the market is showing signs of recovery and it will end up in a profit after one year if you are investing now.
4488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 25, 2019, 03:06:47 PM
I completely disagree with your statement that 'No one remembers who came 2nd or 3rd' and me remembering that NZ were the runner ups during last world cup is enough to justify that.
Let us come to a conclusion that i am not having that much capacity to store every runner ups in the history of any sports, i have not seen a single match in the last world cup, so i really do not know anything about that event but i saw the score card now after you saying that NZ and Australia were battling for the cup and it was a pathetic performance from NZ  Cheesy.

It was a mix day for me yesterday. I lost money in IPL but recovered it from Pakistan vs Australia match :-)
I am looking forward to the next match for sure ;-p
I made a parlay for Australia, South Africa, CSK and MI thinking they will win, but MI had a pathetic start and i lost my parlay, just after making the bet i checked the MI team and understood i took a risk and was talking about it to my neighbor who is an avid IPL fan and he was also suggesting MI usually performs at home ground, but Delhi was too good for them, the reason i am not following these tournament is that they shuffle the team every year and if they can keep a certain team like football clubs do and there will be a transfer window, then it would be great to follow rather than seeing an entire new team every season, which makes it hard to follow how these new composition will work.
4489  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the global currency cannot be 100% internet based and if we will have one on: March 25, 2019, 02:04:16 PM
Will we have a global currency?
Hope you have heard about bitcoin. Tongue

Quote
I personally think that the idea of global currency will benefit citizens, there won't be exchange tax and other things , but at the same time it will kill the competency of the countries that the political leaders think is important , there will be no more best to worst currencies , no exchange rates and nothing.
Will it be beneficial?
Bitcoin is created for the end user to have full control over their asset rather than trusting a third party or any government. Bitcoin does not have exchange rates for sending transactions around the world. Wink

Quote
I don't think it can be internet based because more or so there will always be a sector which doesn't plan on using the money and worse who doesn't know how to use the internet and how do you plan on giving this advantage to the tribal people ? It will be worse , it will be like , if someone wants to kill the economy of the world entirely they just need to shut down the internet and everything, every transaction will stop.
If you are sympathizing about tribal people for not having the advantage of bitcoin, ask your government to provide better health and education for these so called tribes and make an effort to bring them to the forefront so that things will be easy. Shutting down the entire internet is not possible, there may be some outrages here and there by cable breakages under sea, other than that it is fine. If there is no internet for one day, just imagine how a country will perform and the huge loss they will encounter because of that as everything is connected to the internet, not just transaction, the entire country will be frozen. Tongue
4490  Economy / Speculation / Re: btc's possible next moves on: March 25, 2019, 01:36:37 PM
(binance)  from here or after touch 4800 its going to back to 3600, if that support doesnt work next step is 3150 and maybe 2800 once again.i dont wanna talk about that scenerio because it will be very bloody.
to my opinion we will see 3200 on middle of may and it will be the last fall.on august btc's big move will start.step by step to 11k.
It all depends upon how strong the market is, it is able to break the resistance level at $4200 we will see further movement and if that holds up we will see further movement in the positive direction when it comes to price, is it possible to fall after those rally, yes it is possible, we have seen those in the past and then the big bulls will come, it will take a long time to see a proper bull run, until then be satisfied by these spike in prices. Wink
4491  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Mark Zuckerberg wants no privacy on: March 25, 2019, 09:44:10 AM
According to a recent open letter on privacy, Mark Zuckerberg wants us to believehe can combine WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram platforms with “end-to-end” encryption to create the ultimate privacy-protecting platform.

thoughts? what does this mean for society?
He might be planning to combine everything and come up with a blockchain platform but for them to talk about privacy is just a joke when they were collecting user password and stored in plain text format, so that is how they go about user privacy and storing sensitive data. It means nothing for the society, people who are addicted to social media platforms, they will be using it even if it is insecure.
4492  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Dark use of Bitcoin on: March 25, 2019, 08:41:47 AM
If people are rational then they know that this statement is dumb. I mean we all know that even before bitcoin existed,  fiat getting used for evil purposes has been going on until today. And I've read somewhere that only 1% of btc are really used for illegal things or crimes.
Let analysis the facts here, no one in the world has no clue how much fiat currency is used to illegal activities, might be more than a trillion dollars and it cannot be tracked but that is not the case with bitcoin, each and every transaction are edged in history and anyone can monitor every transactions made and if bitcoin is used for illegal transaction, it is like documenting your crime for everyone to see and the criminal end up facing jail time for his bravery. Cheesy
4493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is DASH still a good long term viable project? on: March 25, 2019, 08:17:41 AM
bitcoin or ethereum is a better alternate for dash in these days. this is because when bitcoin fall 1, the other altcoins fall 2. or when bitcoin rises 2, other coins rise 1. so bitcoin is better than dash
If you are looking at profits then bitcoin is the coin to invest, but if you priority is privacy and security then Dash is one of the most useful coin in that view along side with other privacy coins in the market, is it possible to see an huge rally in Dash alone, i highly doubt that unless you see major merchants accepting it which is highly unlikely because of the regulation factor because of its privacy nature. Other than that it is a great project to have a secure transaction online.
4494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 148: Thompson vs Pettis Prediction and Info Thread on: March 25, 2019, 07:29:13 AM
^  He was prepared alright...  But obv wasn't prepared for that power.  I had Thompson leading first round and second, til...  Lol.

To anybody who hasn't seen it, please do.  Grin
I never expected to see Thompson being knocked by Pettis, Woodly tried for ten rounds and could not do that and Till won by decision and this is his first knockout loss in his career and that too from a fighter coming up in weight, Jorge Masvidal knocking out Till who is also coming up a weight class was another surprise last week, things are interesting now at 170 pounds right now as the pool of talent is huge and with Ben in the mix, there is a lot of potential interesting matches to be made, Pettis v Masvidal will be an interesting match as well but looks like Pettis is looking for a rematch in the new division with Rafael dos Anjos.
4495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins: to Mine or to Buy? That is the Question on: March 25, 2019, 06:16:08 AM
Analized my experience in cryptocurrency since 2014 year I made a conclusion that PoW mining is less profitable than just buying coins ever. With
Cons and pros of both methods to make money in cryptoworld?
Now I prefer holding coins, PoS mining and other methods without noisy and hot hardware
Glad to hear that you came to an conclusion after 5 years in the market that mining is not an profitable business if you are not having the bank roll to invest heavily in the hardware and other expenses  Tongue. Unless you have a big pocket and the determination and vision on how to tackle the ever changing and competitive mining industry it is better to invest directly in the coin, less headache and reap the profit according to the market situation.
4496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bounty hunter paid USDT? on: March 25, 2019, 05:37:25 AM
do you agree if the bounty hunter is paid USDT?
the good or bad impact on investors and the development of the ICO project, give your reasons
I am not sure that anyone will pay their bounty hunters with any coin that is of value and expect them to pay only with their tokens, they need to distribute their tokens in the initial process so that they will have some activity in their blockchain and hence never expect them to pay in anything that is valuable.
The idea of collecting funds is to distribute their tokens as shares for their projects and not to give out free money. Tongue Cheesy
4497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 25, 2019, 03:51:12 AM
India was a shitty touring team back then despite having good players.
The lack of genuine fast bowlers was the main problem for having earned the name of shitty touring team, back in the day the pitches were tailor made for fast bowling and India rely on spin bowling during those times and so does all the Asian countries, when Sourav Ganguly took over as captain he rebuilt the team and took the team to a new level and the reason we are seeing a strong team right now is simply because he had made the foundation.

Kinda sad that no one has a recording of that majestic inning played by Kapil Dev (175) against Zimbave. British Media didn't cover that match.
Those days BBC was having the telecast rights and no other broadcasting teams were interesting in telecasting cricket and on that particular match between India and Zimbabwe they had a strike and hence it was not captured which is very sad.

Not too long ago no one here gave Australia any chance at this years World Cup but now they must be in the top 3-5 teams to win it.
With Warner and Smith coming back they will be a formidable team and it is likely that Warner will open the innings with Finch, to have left hand right hand combination and Usman coming down at no 3 and Smith following him and it will be a really strong team when it comes to batting power.
4498  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sweden on track to stop using cash by 2023 on: March 24, 2019, 09:41:54 PM
"Fuelled in no small part by the increased adoption of alternatives such as cryptocurrency, it seems undeniable that the world is moving closer each day to becoming a globally cashless society."
Sweden being a prosperous country they could become cashless in four years time but it is highly unlikely, people will still use fiat in every trade, unless a government comes up with a regulation that fiat paper money cannot be used and i do not think any government will come up with those verdict, it is a assumption and if there is a betting line it will be an under dog  Tongue.
4499  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Is Up a Staggering 3% But Can The Rally Continue? on: March 24, 2019, 09:19:31 PM
Bitcoin has challenged and surpassed the $4 000 level it has been haggling with recently, escalating the currency up 3% against the U.S. dollar. On the tail of Bitcoin’s bull run other cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash recorded gains in the range of 6 to 18%. Using the momentum of Bitcoin as its strength, the valuation of the crypto market saw a peak of $10 billion in the past week.
It is good to see the signs of recovery and hopefully will have the strength to sustain it by the end of this month and if that happens then the price of bitcoin will try to break the first resistance level and push forward and i am waiting to see how the market will react this week before the month end and then we will have a clear idea on the range of valuation.
4500  Economy / Economics / Re: The prevailing market condition a blessing? on: March 24, 2019, 06:28:12 PM
Prior to 2018 , the prices of most coins are very high and so not affordable .
Which I believe could have discouraged potential investors from investing into cryptosphere.
Now that the market is bearish which has seen the price of  most of these coins low and affordable and with this, it is expected that those who couldn't invest in 2017 are investing now.
So can we say that the bearish market drives adoption of Cryptocurrency?
Is it a blessing to cryptosphere?
There are several types of investors when it comes to any market, there are people who only invest when the market is rallying in a bull market and then there are investors who like to purchase when the market is down and wait for the long hold, then there are investors who like to invest in any market situation and like to take risk and then there is future market for high risk investors and it is a booming market with over a trillion dollar in investment. Adoption will happen eventually and there is no doubt regarding that.
