4481  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: April 17, 2017, 03:20:04 AM
By this time bitcoin being dead would be still impossible.Old users and new wave users continues to treat bitcoin like one of the fiat and keeps on adopting and pushing it to be one of the global currency in the globe. And by that thing it will cause bitcoins being alive for a long time
Yes a lot of users now are adopting and treating bitcoin as their secondary currency aside from their national currency but i don't think they will succeed in pushing bitcoin as global currency because that is impossible for bitcoin to be the global currency if there are fiat moneys that all around the globe and there are government who can try to prevent that.
Even if a lot of users use Bitcoin as their secondary currency I don't think they use it for transaction purposes but mainly in trading purposes. Because there is really no options for them to use in the real world only a few businesses accept Bitcoin as a form of payment. For it to be a global currency in needs to be similar to Fiat in which it can be use anywhere not only for trading.
4482  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: April 16, 2017, 06:01:20 PM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?

Here's a nice how-d'ye-do!

We have long been there already, just look at what is going on around Bitcoin mining nowadays (and all Bitcoin Core versus Bitcoin Unlimited battles raging across the forums). China is corrupted all through out, from upside down (and all the way up again). So what could you really expect from Chinese miners? Corruption is not about money in general or Bitcoin in particular, it is about people mostly, and Asians on the whole seem to be the most corrupted folks in the world today
Well anything that can lead to abuse of power can lead to corruption. Every kind of currency can entice anyone who can abuse it. Bitcoin perhaps can give more advantage on how they can cloak/hide hiw they transfer the money from one thing another undetected. If Bitcoin is being use for Laundering why can't it be in corruption?
4483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 16, 2017, 05:24:56 PM
Series will be difficult for the Cavaliers.

If they won only by 1 point today, then they will more than likely lose the games at Indiana and the series will go to 7 games, because Indiana probably will win at least 1 game in Cleveland

Let's see if the bulls can upset Boston today

Never thought the Pacers can fight them actually, seems to me this series is gonna be like the conference finals several years ago.

Indiana Pacers, when Paul George is healthy will always fight whoever they face. It seems George always shows his true potential when up against a team like Cavaliers. So this is a true test for the Cavs. That's why I don't believe that Cavs will go up to the NBA finals because teams like Indiana will make it difficult for them. If they are able to past this round and go on the next, the fatigue factor will sets in and the pressure to win will be needing much more effort.
That is also one problem in a team that only depends on one star player. What if he becomes injured? Then instantly you will know what the results are in that series. A good example for a team that is prepared even if one star is injured is the Golden State Warriors in which they are capable of winning even if Durant missed a lot of games. But the Warriors still has a good caliber of players even of Durant was out plus they know how to play defense especially offense.

The game is just a tune up game for Cavs. Besides that Indiana Pacers is not a weak team especially when Paul George is on fire. Lebron James seems doing well on the game but I can't that the other two (Love and Irving) is at 100% performance. But Cavs is a great team and they will get the eastern conference title.
The good thing about the Cavaliers is that they always improve especially in a series. Remember Lebron James once carried the Cavs to Game 7 without Love and Kyrie. Right now Cavaliers are still trying to preserve there best plays until they reached maybe the semis where the games gets tougher for them.
4485  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: April 16, 2017, 02:48:03 PM
Teaching kids about bitcoin will be difficult for you because they didn't care about the bitcoin or money or anything for their age because they just want to play and explore basic things in the world, you don't need to rush them to get into the advanced or techie world because they will get into that in their being teenager.
Yes I agree with you. Simply put it this way Bitcoin will be a topic for kids that will make them don't care as they will lack interest. Kids having a developing brain will make this kind of topic somewhat complex even the concept of money for us is easy. So the best thing is try to reserve teaching Bitcoin when they are old enough to understand money.
4486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make governments accept bitcoin? on: April 15, 2017, 05:08:52 PM
Well there are 2 ways that I can see that the Government will accept Bitcoin. First if Bitcoin does not show any threat to that Nation's economy than we will see that Bitcoin will be more accepted in that Country. The second one is when Bitcoin is already illegal in that country because of a law than the people have the power to revoke that kind of Law in order to make Bitcoin usage Legal again. But the second way is harder as it has a lot of battles to be won in the court in order to make it happen.
4487  Economy / Economics / Re: where should i invest my 0.5 btc ? on: April 15, 2017, 04:08:53 PM
You should some amount in trading of altcoins and hold some bitcoins to sell them in future because the price of bitcoin is increasing and in coming days it will definitely give you a good profit. And don't try to invest your money in gambling it is full of risk and you'll loose all your investment because it totally based on your luck.
Are you some kind of prophet that can predict that Bitcoin will increase in terms of value in the coming days? Because you are giving some bold predictions about Bitcoin's future. If I were you, you need to back up your suggestions with facts in order to prove us that Bitcoin will really increase its value in the coming days. Also providing us enough information would be beneficial to all of the readers.

4489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest bitcoin sites that close on: April 14, 2017, 01:52:11 PM
HashOcean was a huge one.  This kind of giant cloud mining scam is something that happens all the time in new forms and they just disappear.

Bitcoin sites need to start getting proper verification.  Being a UK company isn't enough, they need to be regulated by relevant bodies to know that they definitely can't disappear.

but they are still exist: https://hashocean.support/
i ask for site that no more available
That is a fake site like another fake proxy of it. When HashOcean came down a lot of site claimed that they are HashOcean fooling people that if they deposited a certain amount they will have their money back which is false. They did this for them to claim money for the helpless investors hoping to have their investments in their hands, it is a shame that people are taking advantage of one of the biggest scams in the internet.

1. How do I know that this Altcoin is a good altcoin to invest in? (Not another Pump and Dump)
all of the existing altcoin are pump and dump so this question is moot.

Quote
2. How to analyze an Altcoin Fundamentally Speaking?
this is such a broad question, i am afraid the only answer that i can give to you is to advise you to learn fundamental analysis! but that may not be the best thing you can do with altcoin investment.

Quote
3. What are the indicators that it is an Altcoin for growth?
hype!
if there is enough news and big exaggerations out there about that altcoin, that means that atlcoin will rise up (get pumped) and you can invest in it. there are technical analysis you can also do on the charts but this is altcoin trading we are talking about not a real legit market with little to no manipulation!
I think Hype can be translated to Demand. But the real question is why is other Altcoins have bigger or greater demand compared to another one? There is always a reason why is it having a better value aside from the hype. I mean you can hype it up all day but only a few will succeed in terms of its price.

4494  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Other Alternatives for Earning Bitcoin besides Signature Campaigns? on: April 14, 2017, 05:49:46 AM
The surest means of earning bitcoin is by signature campaign in this forum although it is small, Solving captchas  is time consuming and the pay is small I have try it before the other means is to sell your skills to make money if you don't have any skill It could difficult earning such amount of money except you gamble which can be very risky.
You really did not answer my question. As you can see in the title of my topics is "Besides Signature Campaigns" I hope it is clear to you because I am looking for other alternatives to earn money online, and by money I mean Bitcoin. As of now there is still no clear answers s many of you suggest trading and doing a real job.
4495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: if someday the network internet totally dead . on: April 14, 2017, 03:33:45 AM
Lets think for a moment if Bitcoin will be the only currency used in the world? Would that even be possible? Because I don't think it is possible where will we base the value of Bitcoin if there is no more Fiat Currency? Without Fiat Currency Bitcoin is not money because it will not have any value. So my guess is Fiat Currency would still exist even if Bitcoin is being used worldwide. All the governments of the world would not allow other type of currency to rule their country.
4496  Economy / Economics / Re: where should i invest my 0.5 btc ? on: April 13, 2017, 06:04:22 PM
It's not a good idea to be asking advice online with people who will favor one part to another. But here is my advice for you investing Bitcoin is still a shady area in the internet you have little to none when it comes to choices what I mean about that is you only have Altcoin Exchanges as a tool for investment, but even that is called Trading. Also stay away from HYIP sites which is really not a investment tool rather it is some kind of revenue sharing in which they allocate your payment to old members of the site.
4497  Economy / Economics / Re: One Reason not to be "All Inn" on any Single Investment for Long on: April 13, 2017, 04:52:50 PM
Well one thing is for sure that you are afraid of what you are investing in. Can you imagine the opportunity that will be lost if you have diversified your portfolio? Don't get me wrong on this one but if you spread your money to a lot of investment you just lessen the risk but did not maximize your profit also you added a lot of things to be manage by you. I still believe that you can always go " all in" in the investments you are sure will pay you the most. Just my two cents.
4498  Other / Off-topic / Re: Smartphones are vital to bitcoin growth on: April 13, 2017, 11:22:08 AM
Yep honestly the mobile app version of their Bitcoin Wallets is the one that really makes Bitcoin usage more practical compared to its desktop website. After all Smart Phone Bitcoin Wallet apps also has the the added picture of scanning the QR code of the Bitcoin address making it easier to pay without typing or copying the Bitcoin address (making you have a less chance of sending it to another by mistake). Also I think all of the cellphone holders now use smartphone as a lot of Chinese brands are having better technology yet cheaper priced products that are available through out the world.
4499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't use bitcoin buying a coffee now. on: April 13, 2017, 07:54:35 AM
Because it is not meant to be used in your daily transactions much more if you are thinking that it should be used in a line system or a Queue. I have a better alternative for you why don't you just convert your Bitcoin to Fiat so that you are not having this kind of problems. Problems that are not suppose to be posted in the first place. We always have a simple solution for that we should use it.
4500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: April 13, 2017, 05:16:07 AM
With the Minnesota Timberwolves and Sacramento Kings currently tied to the record of  (31W-51L) a flip of coin would decide who will be picking #6 in the draft and who will pick the #7 in the draft with that being said, I can say whoever gets the #6 pick will have a bigger leverage to another they can either choose to draft a lottery player or used it as a trade bait to package for a star. But honestly if the Timberwolves have either of the pick chances are Tom will just trade the pick away for another veteran player like he was use to doing back when he was Coach in Chicago.
