The fee was not sufficient. It was a bit low at ~45 satoshis per byte whereas the recommended is ~70 satoshis per byte.

It looks like the order that addresses are posted in is kinda weird. It looks like the most recent addresses are posted at the top, then addresses are generally grouped together by month (with the months in a weird order), and the months are generally grouped by year, however sometimes there are one or two addresses that are in a seemingly wrong place.
I originally thought this might have something to do with edited posts, but I am not quite sure about this. Maybe it has something to do with when last an address was posted (even though the addresses are displayed as when an address was first posted)?
They are shown in order of most recent last post with the address. That is because the posts are read in order from most recent to oldest through the show posts page. However the date and link point to the oldest post containing the address. It might be a good idea to designate some sections as "spam sections" (eg the ponzi section, games/rounds, off topic, possibly some of the local sections) and reduce the value of accounts when a certain percentage of posts are made in these types of sections.
I can make it such that posts in those sections are counted as bad quality posts which will affect the prices with the (now hidden) post quality multiplier. I am tempted to suggest that you do the converse, and designate sections as "high quality" (eg development, technical support), and increase the value of accounts if they make a certain percentage of "very large" posts in these sections, however I don't want to give incentives to people to post useless crap in these sections, as they are generally free from spam now.
I think that is a bad idea for the same reasons that you said.

That's for your large answer. Also, how can i know how old any wallet(or address?) Is?
Addresses don't have age. The "old" being talked about here is how long ago that address was first posted by the account on this forum. Whether the address is used or unused does not matter. All posts have a time stamp so you can check to see when the post with the address was made and whether it was edited.

Why was 95% adoption rate selected for activation as oppossed to 80% or 50% or even 5%?
So that the soft fork deploys with supermajority. It will essentially have consensus when it deploys. This ensures that the new rules will be deployed and enforced by the miners. The 95% rule has been used for all previous soft forks, no reason to change that now.

Go to Help > Rescan Balances and restart Armory.

Small question not worth to start a new thread:
System: OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 Wallet: Bitcoin Core 13.1
I have a backup of my wallet.dat file. Where do I move it if I want to restore it?
On internet I found that it should be moved to ˜\Library\Application Support\Bitcoin\ But I guess that is outdated information, because that folder does not exist on my computer, neither with hidden files shown.
You put it in the data directory. If you changed it (i.e. chose a different folder with the initial startup dialog which asked you if you wanted to), then you put it in the folder that you specified. Otherwise, it should go in the default data directory which is the path you mentioned. Also, I wonder, can I use this same file to restore a wallet on a windows PC?
Yes.

I disagree.
Armory was stagnant for well over a year under ATI. Yet, as soon as they folded and goatpig created his branch, there has been a surge of steady progress and the technological gap which once existed between Armory and other Bitcoin development is almost closed. I would go so far as to say that Armory is working better than ever.
Prior to ATI's stagnation, the was a lot of development, and a lot of other work that was going to be incorporated into armory but never had the chance to due to ATI stopping development. Furthermore the was a lot more testing and higher quality assurance than right now. I'm sure you have noticed that goatpig's releases have many bugs that would have been caught if there were more testing. If goatpig would just remove the horrible auto-bitcoind code (which was a mistake to begin with), a large portion of user issues would vanish.
That would probably help. I disagree again. While I haven't noticed any significant differences with Armory itself, the only operating system which ever gave me issues with Bitcoin Core was Ubuntu. Windows, however, has never given me any issues what-so-ever with Bitcoin Core or Armory.
I have experienced the exact opposite. I typically have issues on Windows and no issues on Ubuntu whatsoever.

The driver for SegWit seems to be purely LN This is an rbtc talking point-- it has no basis in reality. Segwit is largely orthogonal to lightning, and proposed long after it. The reason people keep claiming it is because segwit is above reproach and lightning is less well understood and easier to FUD. Hmm, I suspect actually a lot of people think that because on the Segwit FAQ, here: https://bitcoincore.org/en/2016/01/26/segwit-benefits/ it says: Who benefits? ... ... The Lightning Network ...
Sure the lightning network benefits from segwit, but it is not the only reason (if a reason at all) that segwit exists. If you look at the rest of the document, there are a whole lot more benefits than just LN. The rbtc taking point is that segwit is only for lightning, but it most certainly is not.

I have used Armory wallet in the past and some value is stored in a (Ubuntu) machine which is currently unused. I would be most grateful for comments on how to proceed,
Install the latest version of Armory 0.95.1 and the latest version of Bitcoin Core. It should work and you will be able to access your bitcoin. If armory was previously installed, You will need to delete the folder named databases in the armory data directory as the database format has changed. because I see that this wallet is not currently under development (?).
Armory is still being developed. It is under the development of a new maintainer. The development progress has slowed significantly because the company previously behind armory stopped working on it. You might be able to move the file to a windows machine running armory
I do not recommend that you use Windows. Armory works better in a Linux environment like Ubuntu. Note that a watch-only copy of a wallet uses the same private key as the original wallet it was created from.
Watch only wallets do not have private keys. They only contain addresses and public keys.

Yeah I saw the problem is now fixed and the site is working better like before. But there is another thing happening. When I put the UID and click on the button then immediately the UID disappear and the code appears in the search bar. Is that a problem or it is by the developer as a development in the site?
That is intentional. It redirects you to the Permalink so that you can find the estimation in your browser history. It was me and people need to have special hero accounts not just monkey accounts. Besides, I'm done for now. Just for the record .28 btc for a legendary account is a complete joke, this guy's algo needs to be fired.
If you think it is bad, then fix it. It is an open source project and service that I am providing to you free of charge. If you think something is broken, then you can fix it yourself. Honestly, I don't care about the price estimation anymore so I don't care whether it is accurate or not. The site has much greater utility than just the price estimation

Log files please.
Try going to File > Settings and unchecking the box for "Let armory run Bitcoin Core in the background". Then stop Armory, start Bitcoin Core, and then start Armory again.

1) Yes. The wallet still using the January/2016 backup.
I tried to put another backups and -rescan the wallet but without success, then put again the same January/2016 file.
So you put the backup file, spent, then put the backup file in there again and now you don't see the Bitcoin? Did you at any point backup the current wallet.dat file after you had spent the Bitcoin? I think you may have lost your Bitcoin. If, after you had spent, you had replaced the wallet file already there with a backup, then you will not have the private keys to any of the addresses from your spending onwards (assuming that the keypool of the backup was actually exhausted). 2) I do not remember the exact return message. But I did try it and didn't returned the expected priv key.
Please run the command again and post both the command and its output.

2) I still have the file,
So right now Bitcoin Core is using the wallet.dat file you put in the data directory prior to spending? You did not touch the file at all? however, the priv key is not there. I tried dumpprivkey and it don't return any result on the Bitcoin-QT console.
Exactly what command did you use? What is the output from the console?

From a few minutes I am trying to check the UID of account but it do not show the result and show the message "Request Queuing failed. Please try again." Is that problem to everyone or only me facing the problem.
Fixed.

There should be a way to report it as a false positive to the AV company.

Well, it's been over a month since the so-called elections ended... So what's the final outcome of all that? Did anyone get promoted to a Global Moderator office? What was theymos' decision on the candidacy of the winner? It was Mitchell if I'm not mistaken, but he is still only Staff (I just checked). And while we are at it, what's become of the Banned rank suggestion discussed earlier? I haven't been closely following Meta recently, so please bear with me Unfortunately nothing has been done. I have PM'ed theymos and attempted to get his attention about this but so far he has not responded.

In theory, yes, that would be possible. However you would have to coordinate closing the channels with multiple people at exactly the same time and that can be a bit difficult to do. It would work best where everyone is ok with closing the channel. This would not work too well with creating commitment transactions as that may result in a lot of extra work being done by everybody and one party could end up closing all the channels, which could be problematic.
