4501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Any devs out with free time looking to make extra money fixing abanonded coins? on: March 29, 2015, 12:25:48 AM
ya, thats why I started this thread for the devs to make money repairing the code, and for the bagholders to free their funds. The devs can then evolve the coin into whatever they want. Its a win-win situation for everyone, and it cleans up the "junk yard", and jump starts the coins again.

Ill keep this OP updated with a list. I need you guys to post in the thread what coins you want fixed with a link to the ann.

I want to use this thread for users to list a broken coins that is abandoned that needs a dev to fix. The details would have to be an aggreement between dev and walletholders. How many times has a dev created a coins, and then disappears a couple of weeks later. Coins either become worthless or stop working alltogether. To walletholders, if you have 50,000 coins stuck in a broken wallet, it might be a good idea to pitch in 5,000 to get it fixed and working. If everyone works together, there could be LOADS of btc made by devs and wallet holders. Investors, just post the name of the coin, and the fact you feel its abandonded and what needs to be fixed. Devs youll have to look at the project and call a price on how much of that coin you would want to get it working again, AND maintain it in the future.

GOLDEN RULE: *NO NEWBIE ACCOUTS*, devs you have an established account here, please use it, and identify yourself.

NOTE: I HAVE THE LAST COMPILED WINDOWS BINARY WALLETS FOR MOST OF THESE, BUT NO SOURCES. IF YOUR A DEV AND PLAN ON FIXING ONE OF THESE ,ASK ME FOR THE WINDOWS WALLETS.

Ill start : (These are the ones I know about). You have to read the ann of each coin to get current status.

As all these coins are open source, they are fair game, and anyone with developer skills can takeover them.

Coin:

E-cash: (Dev "Igotspots" has said over and over , he is done with this coin!): 10,000%-20,000% interest. Currently all working: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=966590.0

This is a lot more (probably over 100 more I can list) . Let me see how you guys do with these.

I thought this was a good idea. I hope it links devs that could use extra money, to walletholders that have "stuck" coins.

I would sell a min of 20MIL at that price. Let me know. I wont use escrow, I would make a listing on bittrex for 2 sat and then send the rest after the purchase.

So I see that the block reward for POS is 1 coin, and not a percentage. Looks like min stake time is 24 hours. Is there a good min block size I can use with coin control to get the reward within 24 hours after maturity? 10 coins? 50 coins? What has been your experience? Thanks

So Im on wallet 1.0.1.1 and still producing high stakes. I know the new wallet that doesnt work was designed to fork to new pos%, but isnt the coin forked to 10% annual even on 1.0.1.1. I think what Im trying to ask is how much longer will the high pos rewards continue , as I thought it ended.

Guys its not the coin if you profit or loss. Its the choices that you make. We know this because we are all using the exact same coin but everyone gets a different result, the only variable is the trader.

If you lose money on a coin thats 10,000% yearly compounding interest with no chance of the price dropping, it may be time to exit Crypto.

Guys this is the EASIEST coin out there to make big profits on now. Even IF you bought at 80k sats, and lost, you can buy now at 1 sat and help offset those losses with profits. You CANNOT lose right now.

Do it! We don't ask you guys to do a lot, so help us out with this so it speeds everything up for us, please

Im glad to help. Ill be honest im not sure I understand what that site is about. I see that there are many different vendors, and it appears that they are looking to accept altcoins, but then I went to a few different vendors on that site, and I didnt see any place to pay with altcoins in checkout. Are they in the stages of choosing the coins?

Vegas

They've been around for a long time. Basically they give merchants an option to use a PayPal Buy Now type button. We use them on GorillaStake.com right now for BTC and PayPal if you want to see an example

But at this time it appears they are looking to have those merchants accept altcoins. Im not sure if they will have the merchants accept multiple different altcoins or if they will choose 1 , based on votes. Still a bit sketchy on this, but I do like the direction of it.

Vegas

I don't think you understand their site lol trust me, it's good for us to get added there  Wink  Merchants can take like 30 different coins if they want to now

We don't ask for help with much, so when we do it's definitely worth it

Your always asking me for shit.. LOL j/k

Glad to vote for us.

What about ask Bleutrade to add Balls and 10k, they have a large and unusual very active Doge market and LTC market. I trade some altcoins for more than 500,000 Doges in one transaction and im not the only one.

Check yourself  www.bleutrade.com

And fuck you stupid 160 million balls seller at 1 sat.

If you can afford to hold until the fork, it will drop the amount of coins being dumped dramatically

but who will buy it?

i bought all already Smiley

Now waiting for Public key from Gorillastake

Had a friend that was waiting on BTC to transfer to pick those coins up. Lawls..

Something tells me your friend will still have a lot of chances to get them at 1 sat  Grin
From other hand the faster he buys, the more coins he can get by staking before the fork.  Smiley
Currently 21 million at Polo, and 13.6 million at Bittrex sold for that price.

In high level trading, entry points are everything; way more important than exits. Can't get a lower entry point that we currently have  Wink

Agreed. You can buy and earn from the interest without worry of the price drop. This *IS* the best time to buy!

Any follow on GP community as far as a solution to this coins problems?  Not sure how many supporters we have left.

Sir, you rock!!! +1000

On a positive note, I have spoken with Hypercoin dev, and he is very connected, and said he knows someone that should be able to fix this. I dont want to bug Hyperfuture as he is very busy, so Ill give it a few more days, and message him again .
