I am new and I have read several post regarding activity point in this forum. But I do not know how to calculate it. What if I post 50posts in a week and logged myself in the forum account ? What are the factors that will help me to improve my points? What is the max points anyone may earn in a week ? Is there any one who can tell me in details? I would like to hear with example. Hope great forum members will help me. I need help badly

Make a post every day and it will add up. 14 for every two week period. It means I will get max 14 activity points, no matter how many posts I make ? If I only make 1 post, I will get 14 points in 14 days, that is it ? So if it goes like this, I will get 140 activity points in 20 weeks if I create 1 post once in 14 days period, right ? Damn. it will take years to gain 300+ activity points with regular activity. So, it means the person with higher rank actually made a great sacrifice. They worked hard and consistently for years. Hats off Yes. Simply put you cannot get more than 14 activity every two week period. It's called activity because it's a measurement of how active you are on the forum and is in place to stop people just trying to spam their way through the ranks. I had that too. I think some moderator has decided to move huge threads to the trashcan to stop people posting in them, but this only punishes people who had posted there in the early stages. You can't know that the thread you're posting in will grow to have over 20 pages and gets deleted in a month or two. Threads like that should be locked not deleted.
No, what should change is hopefully the culture around here of users creating utter shit threads and then people posting in them en mass saying the same thing over and over. People need to learn that it's not acceptable to create or contribute to pointless threads who's only existence is for sig spammers to easily post nonsense because it's too difficult for them to actually bother writing something of substance in a constructive thread. Hopefully now when users see a thread such as 'bitcoin or girlfriend' or 'family or bitcoin' they won't post in them. Nothing of value gets lost when one of those threads get trashed. |

The worse ones are the theymos impersonators who put something like theym05 - Administrator as their name to try scam people who bid on the auctions. They usually get reported and nuked very quickly but it seems someone tends to fall for it every couple of months and sends them the coins instead of theymos. |

Yeah, that would be useful and it's something I've proposed before. I doubt it'll be developed on this forum but hopefully more self-mod features will be available on the new one. Another useful feature would be banning by entire member group. So for example you could prohibit Newbies or Juniors etc from claiming giveaways etc. It would also be useful if you had a troublesome member who kept coming back on brand new accounts.

Yes, currently any posts anywhere count or contribute to activity, but making low quality posts almost exclusively in off topic or politics & society is a good way to get your account banned pretty quickly. Some campaigns also wont accept you if the majority of your posts are in such boards (though crapcoin campaigns wont care).

When your post is deleted, an inbox message arrives in the forum, look if there is something like this.
If I'm not mistaken, you get message only when your post in self-moderated thread was deleted. Otherwise you will not get message. You get the warning when staff remove the posts, but you don't get them if an entire thread is sent to the trash. |

Well that probably all depends on whether the recipient feels it's unsolicited spam or not. If they report the PM then it will be up to a Staff member to decide. If in doubt I would advise against sending it but that's up to you. If you're just going to say hi to try get them to check out something you're promoting then it'll likely eventually be seen as spam by someone and reported.

There is no limit, but if you continue to just make low-quality one liner posts just to rank up as quickly as possible you're liable to have your account banned.

I'm from the UK. Coinbase is the worst exchange I've ever used. My money was stuck on there for 4+ months and I didn't receive a single response from support even after 10+ messages. Kraken is pretty simple to use and I've had no problems so far. Withdrawls take about 3 working days and verification was very quick. Basically, no. You can only get 14 activity every two week period. So you will get 14 activity up until 14 posts but no more until the new period regardless of how many posts you make. You could make 300 posts and you will still only have 14 activity. In the next period you will then get another 14 and so on. |

According to my extimations I should have become Full Member yesterday, but nothing has happened, my activity didn't change, it didn't move from 112. This is starting to be a mystery for me, since I thought I had understood how it works.

No, not until you make a new post in that period. The above post is your first post in the new period so now you have to wait for it to update. I was already wonderin why it hasn't increased for me for a very long time. But what if you don't post every single day. There are days that I don't post. Does this nullify the other day's activities?
I think you should at least post once weekly for you to be able to get the additional 14 activities every 2nd Tuesday. If ever you miss a post in a week, I think you will not receive an addition 14 activities. Anyway, any excess on your posts will be directly credited after two weeks. Not true. It's once every fortnightly period, so no need to post every week (though I wouldn't advise just making one post because if it gets deleted so will your activity). |

Contact cyrus with as much proof as possible. I wouldn't hold your breath though, but accounts have been restored with proof other than a signed address before but it is your best bet if you can find one you posted somewhere.
