4501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NitrogenSports forcing me to rollover my deposit once? on: February 01, 2020, 07:44:01 PM
Typical thing for you to able to withdraw on a gambling site.Of course you will need to wager that deposit before you can pull it off. Did you really expect that you can easily transfer
from exchange to a gambling site then to your personal wallet? Then you do really make a mistake.Just like what been said above that you should rather wait up for that cooldown
than to have this kind of hassle thing.
4502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is libra (from facebook) will be a good invest ? on: February 01, 2020, 06:26:43 PM
Hello, I was wondering if investing in facebook libra when it comes out would not be a great idea for a quick profit. What do you think ?

The question is, do this project would able to make it through? There were lots of issues towards Libra project which been highly opposed nor blocked by government.

When we do talk about profitability or quick money then its on high chance because this project will surely be hyped yet we know on how popular facebook is worldwide.
So no doubt on the adoption and demand. For making money then it will vary or depend on how early you to able to get in.

4504  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk management , how ? on: February 01, 2020, 01:28:00 PM
successful trading is about managing risk minimising it as possible  as we can , i have read that with correct risk management even with flipping a coin we can do trading and be profitable

i want to know what methods/rules  are there to minimise risks
When we do talk about minimizing risk then there would be lots on the list.

1. Never be greedy
2. Set a specific goal/profit on a certain trade.
3. Dont chase losses
4. Set stop loss
5. Dont get fomo'ed or shilled out.
6. Dont be emotional.

These are only the basics but actually a hard thing to be done.
4505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling websites need to add self-control functionality! on: January 31, 2020, 11:05:43 PM
Lately, I've been gambling a bit too much again and it's impossible to add limits to most crypto gambling websites.
Heck, I've found it to be impossible to just remove your account, without contacting support.

I think it should be mandatory, or at least standard, to include easy ways to prevent members from gambling.
In my country (Belgium), legal gambling websites are required to have player-imposed limits, plus general limits on their websites.
I wish crypto-based gambling websites would do the same.

Anyway, I've just sent an e-mail to the one casino I was still playing on, to close down my account. I hope they'll do that without any issue.
But still, I wish they would just add a function to do it by yourself, or add some self-control functionality.

I.e. let people exclude themselves for X amount of time

Self-control functionality would be all useless if a certain individual is heavily addicted. Why? they would still find ways for you to play. Banned IP? Simply use VPN.
Banned account? You can create new. Also, for a gambling business its unlikely for them to block out or making things on moderation yet
we know that these are businesses which do concerns about making profit and limiting or restricting because they are concerned about addiction then
it isnt really common.
4506  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Cost $ 25,000 by 2021? on: January 31, 2020, 10:34:01 PM
Bitcoin prices are going up and down these days. People are hopeful that the price of Bitcoin may well go up by 2021. Bitcoin has been legalized in a number of countries, due to which Bitcoin prices are now recovering. If the price of Bitcoin goes up to 25,000 by 2020, it will be very difficult to buy.
Better waiting for halving time left 99 days for predicting with bitcoin can raise above $25,000 in 2021? when halving time give moment for bitcoin back to higher price about $15,000 I think is looking easy for bitcoin raise above $25,000 and will begin with new era where bitcoin become most expensive commodity and digital currency payment.
Halving event might or might not trigger out that bull run effect after how many months just like on what happened on previous ones but we all know that it would have that chance to achieve such state.
We are now sitting and playing on 9300+ price which is indeed a good sign that market is trying to recover. We wont know if there would be a deep correction coming but somewhat it do holds strong into
its current place. 2 years time is either short for 25k price but as said by other members here, dont underestimate the word "FOMO" where anything can turn really hard to believe prices.
4507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ETH-based descentralized casinos on: January 31, 2020, 05:48:21 PM
With the raise of DeFi and solutions like Pooltogether I wonder how I haven't seen some ETH casinos with good reputation where you can simply connnect your wallet via metamask and play games.

are there solutions like that alreadyor nobody came up with it?

I've seen various projects like that, but they tend to be short-lived. For one, Metamask had some stuff about banning Ethereum applications (not sure whether this is currently the case, but talks have made things uncertain anyway). Another problem is that using Metamask is not user-friendly from my personal experience. It's not that easy to figure out how it works, to make everything right so that smart contracts work. Some casinos offer alternatives, but I don't think they are better. I can't name a single Ethereum smart-contract-based casino right now, even though I've seen plenty. It seems to me that it's easier for people to give their money to reputable casinos in easy ways than figure out the smart contract stuff.

When we do talk about short-lived then this one is a fact.Im not aware with that Metamask eth app ban though.
I agree on the thing about being not user friendly of Metamask yet i do experience it when im still new on using it.
Without proper guide and some basic operation or technical you would surely get confused. There were lots of smart contract
based casinos out there but im pretty sure that those arent getting some good traffic.People get used to choose those
popular ones which are way less complicated.
4508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Crypto Should I Invest In 2020 ? on: January 31, 2020, 04:27:43 PM
Among the three altcoins you mentioned, I would probably stick with Eth. It probably has more to offer in terms of decentralized applications. Just take a look at ethereum's DEFI (Decentralized Finance)
~~
You can also take into consideration the nearing completion of ethereum 2.0 which is believed to solve scalability issues. Of course, there's no guarantee that that will increase the price and give you profit but there's a good chance it will (long-term)

Not that it weighs more but this guy (tk808) explains it better in his post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5190137.msg53373462#msg53373462

Whatever you decide, be sure to read more into these altcoins and not just take whatever we say. Best of luck.

Im with this!
If we do just based on dapps then would really have that one compared to the other two that had been mentioned.
In talks of investment then no one can stop op on which one he would consider. If those are his basis at least we do show up
the differences but doesnt mean that these factors would be a guaranteed thing for price increase to happen on future.
Always invest for your own risk.

4511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fish arcade on: January 29, 2020, 02:31:25 PM
Pretty odd request for a gambling game, plus the fact that a provably-fair system on the spawns of fishes would be quite difficult or challenging to implement. I only see these games on arcades, and I agree that they are entertaining and all but I believe that it is not gambling-material yet as it needs more tweaking in order for it to appeal to the gamblers.

Anyway though, perhaps someone might take the challenge and create their own one. Then again the provably-fair system of such a game would be tricky so don't expect too much for this to come intu fruition.
Pretty sure it wont!
Even though we do see some potential but there are still lots of factors before considering this one on the line.
I dont know if there would be someone will risk on creating such possibility. They would vary on the demand of course
and we know that most gamblers will really matter on provably fair.I can say that it would and should stay only on arcade part.
4512  Economy / Gambling / Re: Close Option Broker – 20$ Binary Options No Deposit Bonus! Deposit with Crypto! on: January 29, 2020, 12:59:52 PM
Your advertisement says no deposit bonus, well if it doesn't give bonus then you should just post the other giveaways and event and atleast provide us with some screenshots and games that it offers. Its less attractive to potential customers if the promotion is not well made.
Tried going to the site but it gives me a different website.

If you do read up clearly on what kind of site he do  advertise is just simply a reference one that list out several brokers.
About bonuses where it will vary on each broker but most of them do offer that deposit bonus but of course it do have corresponding terms
before you would able to withdraw it.
4513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ETH-based descentralized casinos on: January 29, 2020, 10:28:02 AM
This has been discussed in the past as far I can remember, why it didn't get traction from the community? It's because it just make things complicated for gamblers. As what @ agustina2 have mentioned, deposit->play->withdraw, simply as that.

We don't want that whole metamask before we can play. And I guess gamblers mindset is hard to change or at least to convince try a way way to deposit in order to enjoy.

Why do you believe MetaMask is a problem? I think it's quite easy to use and a decentralized gambling platform would only make even more progress in the world of decentralization.

After all, when we will have +95% websites with KYC enabled, we will eventually all look for decentralized platforms to go to.. I'm already looking forward to moving to them.

Decentralized platforms will obviously require more attention when handling funds and will not be as easy as 1-2-3. Just like exchanging funds on Binance is instant while on decentralized exchanges it could take from a few minutes to hours. Casinos would probably function similarly.

for me yes its a hassel because you need to install it and download it , what if you dont have a pc  ?  metamask is still possible for mobile  ?  but for a user that already have metamask and enjoy using dex sites , that wont be a big problem for them  . on cex sites , we depo , play , wd but dex sites works the same too  ,  import , play and wd   . the wd time on dex is i think more faster because its automated and no one checks the withdrawals while on cex  , they can check it which cause delays
Thats what decentralized means where you do have the full control of your funds if you tend to deposit nor withdraw without intervention.
Its just a matter of preference though but i do highly believe that most people will play to those sites that do still need some registration.
I agree on the point that its quite hassle on making up some downloads and making transactions from time to time.
4514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 29, 2020, 06:22:05 AM
Will the bucks winning streak be stop tonight?

Giannis has been ruled out against the Wizards, this is the time where Wizards can take advantage.
Who are talking Wizards to win straight up in this game.

source : https://nba.nbcsports.com/2020/01/28/giannis-antetokounmpo-out-for-bucks-wizards-shoulder/

It didn't stop the winning streak as Bledsoe and Middleton carried the team with a combined 85 points, even without Giannis Wizard unable to
match up with the rest of the Bucks they are really an offensive squad as all of them got the chance to shot and score.
They continue winning and staying at the very top of the league.
This is what like with the bucks where they dont solely depend on one player or a superstar.Rotations are there and can shoot up and
execute good positioning to make baskets. In fact, wizards do have that crap defense rating and no surprise that score do even
rose up to 150+. For an offensive type of team then its no surprise.
4515  Economy / Speculation / Re: Corona Virus will Impact the prAl on: January 29, 2020, 05:45:53 AM
There is no correlation at all. A sudden rise in price is not always related to what media deemed to publicize. Always remember, correlation does not mean causation.
But people are really fan on making things connect to each other and its no surprise that this one will really be considered out but if we do really think carefully on how this Corona Virus would impact BTC's price?

We do even see that the current price is soaring above 9k instead, rather seeing some slump if there would be possible connections to it but this one doesnt really have any correlation at all.
4516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poll for favourite cryptos used on Gambling. on: January 29, 2020, 05:09:12 AM
Hello!

A few days ago I posted here for you all to know about a fresh Casino that is going to be launched in February. Most of you replied to my post letting me know your excitement about the launching, opinions and advice. Thank you all! Appreciate your comments. This time I want to run a poll, so I know what cryptocurrency you use the most when it comes to gambling.

I'm leaving here the link to join our Telegram Channel https://t.me/gsplayers1 so you can receive fresh information about our project and get a special bonus code on the day of release. Also, feel free to get in touch via email support@nwent.pro in case you may need anything, we'll be pleased to answer.

Thank you in advance for your votes.
The more the better and i have chose in the poll were BTC and DOGE yet these are the common coins that ive been using since. DOGE when i do tend to have auto roll in dice
but most of the time, i sure that most people do prefer on using BTC and everybody loves to accumulate this coin since we know that this one is valuable among others.
I havent visited nor aware on the new casino you're making but i would like to say good luck for this one.Gambling industry is big and lots of competitions.
4517  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The End of Crypto Signal Groups on: January 28, 2020, 11:50:23 PM
Hi Everyone!

I just published an article about how it will soon be the end of crypto signal groups. Check it out and let me know what you think!

https://blog.shrimpy.io/blog/the-end-of-crypto-signal-groups

Thanks

Are these groups were still helpful for the newbies and traders???
I don't think so because since I have noticed none of the people get benefited with the the signals most probably like luck factor there is speculation was reached the right place. Nothing else they have done for their group members.
Its never been helpful and majority of them are just frauds which are just tending to scam out noobs out there.
If we do think sensibly where these groups or individuals are earning that much then they wont bother themselves on
offering groups which they do give out their own trading signals for some pennies yet they can generate it on their own
rather than hassling theirselves on sharing for small money. They are completely trash imho but surprisingly there were still people who do patronize
these BS.
4518  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: January 28, 2020, 10:59:14 PM
.., players wanted faster bets and Ethan coded and delivered complete complicated update in less than a week same for other stuff.

BitDice bets are already fastest, there is nothing to improve when you are the best. Les then a year was here in this thread posted some rankings of web casinos and they were measuring how many bets you can make a second and BitDice was on top. Check history and you will find it for sure. To bad you were not active here back then Sad

There is not point in comparing speed point is delivering what has been promised.
BitDice promised  many thinks that will be finished before the end of 2018 and they are still in development  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
Its better to be late than never.  Wink
They've already said that there would be updates for this 2020.Are those words isnt enough for you?

Where’s the quarterly report so we can read the latest lies about how our expenses have doubled and our revenues fallen to a pittance?

The token is down largely because there are no exchanges and the communication sucks.

Not to mention the misappropriation of our funds going towards things we never agreed to in the white paper like two years of operating costs with no milestones met and lawyers being paid to hide the perp’s identity behind paper offshore fortresses.

You guys do derailing up this thread. If you do have concerns or do have issues about Bitdice then go and make another thread on specific board and the team will answer you. This isnt the appropriate ones.  Kiss
4519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Altcoin's Price Jump? on: January 28, 2020, 10:52:48 PM
If the price of the Altcoin goes up, then the Bitcoin value will go up. The reason is that when the price of Bitcoin goes up, the price of Altcoin goes up as well.
If people start buying Altcoin more than today, the price of Bitcoin will go up as well.
If the price of Bitcoin goes up by 2021, it will be a record.
Am I right?

Not at all because alts and btc price isnt correlated from time to time.We have seen recently that the price of btc doesnt affect much on alts therefore
we can say that price of alts doesnt always go along with btc but at least on some coins we do see some increase somehow. Its up to you if you do
risk on buying up some coins but dont expect too much that it will surely rise when BTC tends to.
4520  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Who is behind KYC info? Why we don't ask them for KYP? on: January 28, 2020, 08:22:30 PM

Can you think of aything else? Now lets assume the company sells off your data to a third party. What extra will you do apart from going to the consumer protection bureau? Let's be practical!

Theres none for sure and after such complaint. Then whats next? This is why its a total waste of time if you do pursue or trying to fight on.
KYP is good but pretty sure that majority of those providers wont surely comply nor wont mind on such request.
