4501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Good use for Laptops? on: February 26, 2020, 09:39:49 PM
I recommend not using a laptop for mining. Because it will make your computer quickly broken, and you will not be able to make too much profit from doing this. Use your computer more appropriately and use it to do more things to make money
Agree, Mining using a laptop will only waste time, We will not get maximum results if only using a laptop and will also have an impact on your laptop will be easily damaged. If you want Mining, it's better to use a computer with high specifications with using CPU, GPU, FPGA or ASIC.
CPU? Not feasible
GPU? You need lots of rigs before you can feel out profits
ASIC? Expensive but this one is mainly preferred when it comes to coins that can be mined using up this apparatus or machine.

There are specific things that are needed to mine which are more capable  and worth but all things vary on electricity cost.
For laptop thing i dont see it to be feasible. We know mining difficulty nowadays.
4502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Compulsive gambling. on: February 26, 2020, 09:05:31 PM
For us to get rid of gambling addiction, we have to keep in mind that there are lots of risks that we will be facing if we'll not control our emotions towards it. Being greedy could also bring us into a situation that we might regret in the future. Everything will rely on how we handle things. In gambling, we have to control our emotions or else it will be the one who will control us. To get rid of gambling addiction, we have to discipline ourselves and we should also know our limits.

These are obvious tips, but they are just as obvious as they are difficult to apply. Smart people understand this and do not fall into such an addiction, but those people who are less intelligent cannot realize this and gambling turns their life into something terrible. How to help them?
Intelligent people might really have that edge when it comes to those decision making but it isnt really necessary when it comes to self-awareness.

It really doesnt need intellect nor IQ for you to realize things on whats happening around you.A simple cause and result minding will really be enough
for making decisions that would be appropriate.Humans can make decisions naturally but all things will vary on how a person will foresee the effects
ahead.
4503  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hitting its steady price? on: February 25, 2020, 10:35:45 PM
is it safe to assume that Bitcoin is probably hitting a capped price(i.e $10k)?
Steady price?
This one isnt applicable here on crypto sphere or specially with bitcoin.Price had always been volatile and its sure that it wont stay up on a particular level like forever.
We have seen swings of prices for the past months up to recent which do simply signifies that movement is unpredictable. We might see its consolidating or moving sideways
but doesnt mean that it wont pump out in a blink of an eye.
4504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a spreadsheet for you wins and losses for tax purposes? on: February 25, 2020, 10:03:42 PM
It's very crucial to talk on tax issues, personally I am not aware if I am required to pay tax or not, but I believe as long as I don't receive a letter from the tax collector, I am not liable to pay any tax out from my income in sports gambling.  I do gamble anonymously, so that would mean they'll not be able to track if I win or not since most of the gambling sites that I am playing with are operating outside in our country.
Same scenario on my case which im not really that too worried when it comes to taxation matter into my gambling profits.
So far my government doesnt still imply or do have laws on taxation so i dont make any tallies or list on my gambling activity.
If they do start on asking or implementing it up then that might be the time i will make up some spreadsheet.
We dont have any choice but to comply if you dont like to be charged up with penalties.
4505  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-02-24] Binance CEO Makes Rare Price Prediction—Says This Is When To Buy on: February 25, 2020, 09:09:46 PM

However, CZ warned that "historic events do not predict future events, so don't take that too literally," but explained the bitcoin halving will mean "it costs miners almost double what it does now to produce one bitcoin. Psychologically, those miners won't be willing to sell below that price."

At least he do give out this warning which i do highly agree and to that miner sentiment which do have actually got some valid point but it doesnt mean that this would be enough to spark out bullish run.
If I had a public platform I would go no further than things like 'I think Bitcoin is nice.'

Well, they do love some thrills if they do add up something.  Grin

4506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Started Gambling Because You Want To Be Part Of A Gambling Campaign on: February 25, 2020, 08:31:39 PM
I never think about that since I'm a total gambler even if I'm not in the camp nor here on this forum and I mostly bet with my friends watching NBA live on TV also I do gamble with card games which is literally fun to play, And I don't think the sig campaigns here influence me to became a gambler since it's just a bonus from our stay here but if you think you are oblige to play then it's your choice.
Same here!
I do actively post up on gambling sections even if im in or not on a signature campaign.I do casually play gambling but i do have the ideas
or knowledge towards it.Majority of people here does know even the basic game like dice and having a simple discussion with it do already counts.
Signature campaign is just a bonus where you do post up things which you do actually have the idea on what you are talking about.
4507  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I need 5 sources of revenue to generate $200 each per month - Ideas? on: February 25, 2020, 07:44:49 PM
~snip~

I dont recommend masternodes on this matter though. It might be all in auto pilot but the risk on getting having no value coin would be there.
Also it does require big amounts for you to felt up the staking part.
Dai is a stable coin, so the rate is almost without risk.
Investing in a DeFi has a risk, but its relative low.

Cant trust up any stable coin or putting up purely into this one.I would rather choose up putting on bank than having this option.
4508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How fair is Provably Fair? Do you verify every bet as a gambler? on: February 25, 2020, 06:49:25 PM
I am not sure if I can check or verify the gambling site from the OP guide as I am only playing gambling on a random day, and I don't need to check to details. I don't know much about the provable system, but that is a good guide that will be useful for someone who wants to verify by themselves. However, I think the provable system itself is fair for every member, and I don't think that the reputable gambling site will cheat their members because that will have a bad effect on the website itself.

Checking provably fairness would really be useful when checking out new gambling sites out there because we wont able to know if we dont verify it and
to those reputable or known sites , they do already passed up such test thats why they do able to become big because they've proven out that their games
are fair or not rigged. This is actually helpful for those people who are really serious on checking out a site if its fair or not but most of the time
they dont really care to verify anything if they do saw that lots of people playing on such place.
4509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trade Managers on: February 25, 2020, 05:50:23 PM
It might sounds dumb but there are really people who doesnt have the time to make their own trades and rather they do let others do the job with corresponding fee.
Come to think or to compare on handling other peoples money would be different when you are the ones who are trading with your own funds.Trust is the main issue on here
because you wouldnt know if those persons are trustable enough or not.Even if they do have high profitability on paper, i dont still recommend on using up fund managers.
Its better to lost amounts on your own that to other people.
Fund managers exists in the stock market field but the same thing is not possible with cryptos because anyone can run away with your money and its not possible to recover them without that person authorization. As you said its better to do it on their own or don't even need to do it because they can still earn by doing nothing in long term other than simply holding cryptos in their wallets.
One of the differences if we do talks about fund managers on forex markets which they are somewhat known and you can sign up some contracts or what ever paper would it be if you do plan to give or hand out money for them to handle which means you do have that security or still have the chance for you to get the money that you had invested on or lend on compared here on crypto which same as you said that its hard to trace
up when the money is already being ran off by a certain fake fund manager due to anonymity then you cant blame somebody with verbal or without any proofs.
4510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: February 25, 2020, 02:30:19 PM
I am currently thinking of making an experiment on my own, I have friends who are willing to lend me money for whatever purpose I like.
For this purpose, I like to use the money that I will borrow as the bankroll in sports gambling.

Anyone here have tried this? What can you recommend?
Cant afford on wasting up that money on playing gambling specially if its being borrowed to someone.I dont like to have any loans to anybody and its much better if you do play with your own
and just like what being said above, even if you do lose it then you wont really care too much since theres no loan that you do need to pay off after wards. If you can repay it without any problems then
no one can stop you for it to be used on playing since you are the one would pay up those loans soon.
4511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Feathercoin/FTC - News? on: February 24, 2020, 10:39:13 PM
Hi

Anyone have new facts on FTC?

The trading volume increased 10-fold last 24 hours. New things in sight? Or coincidence?
Im not really that updated to any coin but with these mediums you might able to find the reason. If not then this is just a typical random pump for any shitcoins out there.  Cool

Have You Started Gambling Because You Want To Be Part Of A Gambling Campaign or you are already a gambler and wants to be part of a gambling campaign, in my case I come to play gambling because I want to become a part of a gambling campaign, so far this is my 6th gambling campaign and I still continue gambling because I want to continuously involved in gambling campaign.

How about you?

It isnt really necessary for you to learn gambling before you can join or consider yourself to be part of any gambling campaign.Sufficient basic knowledge would already do and some common sense will be needed

yet most topics on this forum arent really that hard for you to understand and making out some response but for some specific games then you will surely be blanked out and thats the disadvantage if you arent that a gambler on some games.

Everyone do have the chance to be part of a campaign yet decisions will always vary or depend with manager itself.
4513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Hypocrisy Behind Facebook Banning Crypto Ads on: February 24, 2020, 09:33:37 PM
The main reason why facebook banned some of the cryptocurrency advertisements was only because of the increasing number of scam projects into the ICO industry. These scam projects usually utilized facebook, instagram, etc to attract a decent amount of investors by showing them immense profits and a number of investors lost their funds in such projects.

Hundreds and thousands of people might have reported these kind of acts to facebook which forced them to ban the cryptocurrency ads. They have recently started developing Libra coin which would indeed be their utility token and hence there was a need to uplift this ban. I can't see anything erroneous.
There were numerous project before I remembered that has an advertisement on Facebook that has a millions of active user worldwide, A project holder before would basically thinks that Facebook and other social media sites is the best way to gather potential investors to their project, But Facebook and other social media sites take the change to let themselves not be involved on what kind of project scenario will it turn someday. There's also a chance that Facebook likely eliminates their potential competitors since Facebook is having their own coin. Plus these social media platform is centralized and if they allow some decentralized projects to take their ads services, Their users might realize something about the decentralization and might endanger the centralized social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and others.
It will surely open up the idea where people or facebook users would really have the chance on knowing on what decentralization is but i dont
see that this do included one of the reasons why its being banned. The thing on my mind for the main ones is that they dont like for their
platforms to be tagged up negative yet we know that there are lots of scam projects that do advertise to this platform which means
if their users been scammed due to that project and since it had been advertise thru fb then for sure they would partly took up the blame.
4514  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it correction time? Market down by 8% on: February 24, 2020, 09:04:39 PM
I think we are going to see something like 11k+ very soon. All we need is another push and some sort of breakable resistance in order to above without anyone selling to take their profits but continue for a little bit more than they usually do.

If bitcoin price can bounce to the higher price, we will see $11k. Sooner or later, we will see that price no matter if bitcoin price now still fluctuated, but when the right time arrives, the bitcoin price will start to increase again. I think we can still make a profit from these situations, as long as we can get the lower price and sell at a higher price because I see that the time to buy and sell at that price still available.

It's possible for us to earn on this current situations especially if we can enter on great positions and hit the perfect movement of bitcoins, But we shouldn't get hyped since possibly we can experience a huge pump and dump since the situation still unpredictable so best sell whenever we see a opportunity to move up and secure our profits. But if you can afford to risk your money for now then buy and hold to aim long term profits.
I do prefer up this way on where you should really sell up whenever you do saw an opportunity or gaining situation rather than looking for long term aspsects.
Why would wait if you can eventually get it on short possible of time?

Market had always been unpredictable thats why making conclusions  or analysis wont really be precise anytime. No matter how expert or pro you are in markets
but dealing with crypto are would be entirely different. Correction just because of 8% down? Same as others said this is jut like
a normal day here on crypto.
4515  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why not decentralized exchange..? on: February 24, 2020, 05:49:02 PM
I read most of your post and here some points that maximum person think those are the main reasons for decentralized exchange failed to stand up every time.

- Don't have enough volume for active traders.
- Not mobile friendly.
- Speed of transactions.
- Problem with liquidity.
- Not too much popular than centralized exchange.

- Trust issue.
- Take time to load.
- UI Design.
- Difficult to understand for newbie traders.
- Control of their asset maybe a bit lazy. Grin

I guess developers should working on those point if they want to improve decentralized exchange platform for the future. For me specially top five points (marked by red color) are too much important to create an advance decentralized exchange for traders.

Low Volume is more is probably the biggest. I'm willing to use different DEX as I do from TRXmarket to NEWdex to etherdelta, its just that even if you combined all the volme is not enough to match one centralize exchange. There seem to have more users today with blocknet which I think this might just be the first that many will be using.  Been using waves DEX since 2017 but gradually stopped too but will probably do with blocknet serious volume will be accumulated.

Yes, your orders will be freaking stuck for a long time.
Who want that?
What choice will you have afterwards?
Of course it is just to go with the flow. Join them in transferring to a centralized exchange rather than waiting there for someone to buy or sell your orders. Also, I see traders who are playing with the price.
Making small orders just so to look like it has a great value or a decreased one.
Also the main thing why i dont prefer on using Dex yet i have experience on using wayback before on Etherdelta and some dex. Liquidity or volume would be the main
problem of yours- the lesser the volume/activity the longer the wait for you orders to be filled which do really sucks. On centralized exchange its still the same but it isnt
really that an issue yet you can see the activeness or the numbers of traders which are trading on a particular coins youve been trading so it isnt a problem.
Next is UI, it isnt really that friendly if i were to say.
4516  Economy / Gambling / Re: SATOSHI MINES on: February 24, 2020, 05:00:32 PM
I was under the impression that this site still operates but it was just to those who already had access, and they just weren't allowing new users. This made sense temporarily but with it being locked down for so long it definitely seems like it should be dead by now.

I hadn't heard about them stealing funds but it makes sense.

This is also my first time on seeing some complaints about stealing funds after all these years.I know they locked up registration or access
but they dont have any issues about scammed funds or being locked.

This brings back so many memories for me,
I remember so many epic moments on this site the wrong bet's that turns out to be great since I won those round,
And this is the first gambling site that my partner and I enjoyed playing together.
We would limit our clicks into 4 and alternately and see who is lucky on gambling.

Just to ask, have you tried to log-in into your unique account link or able to access it as of this moment?
4517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Extremely low bounty rewards on: February 23, 2020, 11:27:46 PM
If you think that bounties are paying low rewards to bounty hunters then check out other platforms and you will know that this forum is still better than other bounty platforms, I checked out webounty platform and I see many bounties projects that are offering 500$ to 2000$ worth of tokens to bounty Hunters, same thing is happening on bountyhunters.io too, if you are still seeing 20k to 30k bounties and complaining you haven't seen worse.

Tachyon protocol offers 13000$ to bounty hunters for five weeks bounty duration and it triple it price after bounty ends, do not judge bounties with low allocations because they are most times good

First, this forum isnt solely for bounties and its inappropriate for it to be compared into those bounty platforms out there yet most of them do list out projects or advertise into this forum as well.

Talking about to those points you had mentioned which we shouldnt underestimate low allocations then i do agree on some point because this is way more realistic compared to those who do allocate imaginary
millions of usd of allocation.

Good for those people who do risk into those low allocated budget projects that turns out to be profitable for them.

4518  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is there anybody knows coinfirm that can get my money from exrates exchange? on: February 23, 2020, 10:25:33 PM
Hi exrates exchange scammed me and didn’t give me my .137 btc is ther any coinfirm that can help me and get money
Just move on and take this a lesson learned for you.As said or talked above that you should at least have some spare time for you to make up some research
before on putting or depositing money or coins into a certain platform.

This had always been a mistake of many specially for noobs that do get lost on unknown or least popular exchangers which are really prone or high
tendency to exit scam or any similar sorts.
4519  Economy / Gambling / Re: SATOSHI MINES on: February 23, 2020, 07:31:47 PM

That wallet address last received (very regular) deposits just two days ago.  Weird if the site's been offline for over a year.
Same questions on my mind when i do try to check the given address which do have active transactions. If that guy above is telling the truth then how the hell he do able to make deposits and withdrawals if the site doesnt even accept new registrations.

No it hasnt been offline for a year because i remember when i do access this site as of this year i do saw some active roles or history of bets which means there are still people playing.
It is sad that those people are still playing there and didn't know that they should stop playing in that site if the claim is really true that they scam their player's fund. I access the site and before I able to the browser I used prompted me that the site is risky. I used firefox browser.
Wayback for some months, it doesnt really have that kind of browser prompt that we are currently seeing.I've tested it on chrome,IE and Firefox which do still have the same results.

We dont know if those players are playing are there loyal customers who do have vip access or some sort or simply just part of the team because they had already closed their registration
which means they dont allow new players anymore.
4520  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here is What Price i Will Sell My BTC During the Next Bull Cycle on: February 23, 2020, 06:50:11 PM
This. Start of 2017 the price is ~$1k, then it goes to $2k then $3k, then people scream that the top will be $5k. I still vividly remember those discussions back then. But look at what happened at the end of the 2017. So in my case, I won't tell my price I'm going to sell because we really don't know what will be the top again. Maybe it can go to a parabolic rise again up to $50k, but we will never know until we crossed that bridge.

Of course we love predictions but I guess we also need to be realistic as well.

Yeah, with you on this. The levels of discussion we see today on forums on social media, we couldn't find them om those days. Not easily, and certainly not as frequently. But they were just as rabid and just as convinced... and yet most of them -- like me and like you -- had to be pragmatic about things. We all love a parabolic rise, but we can't afford to put all our hopes on one, got mouths to feed and rent to pay!

I think the reason we are having such discussions now is because of the performance of bitcoin especially in 2017 December. This is brought many interest into it.

However, as for the speculated price after halving, I do think is not too unrealistic if we go with what happened in 2017 which I don't think was because of halving. So now that we are going to have halving, the $55k or $33k price isn't too much to reach.
For example, in 2017 at least we had close to 200% increase from the time price was $1k.

Exactly, 2017 was unforgottable for everyone as the entire world was shocked with the massive price of BTC. Like you said this year was the one where most of the people showed interest therafter.

Also there are lot of speculations coming around from the so called analysts but few are unique and most of the speculations are unbelievable, my predict is 15k after halving Cool
No one would ever forget that 2017 bull run specially to those who have been into this market for long time and also for those who did just recently jumped in because on the price that they have seen.

I dont believe into those so-called analyst or experts out there and same as you said i dont even see the reason why would the heck that someone believe on 1M/btc price prediction or
even on hundreds of thousands is already unrealistic.

Reaching previous ATH is somewhat realistic compared to others.hehe
