4504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alternative after bitcoin halving on: May 16, 2020, 05:28:39 AM
Hello
im talking about today, when mining with 2-3 miners are not worth.
im thinking to change from bitcoin mining to bitcoin cache, but im new in altcoin and dont know the market.

i know lots of people with low miners are thinking to switch from bitcoin to other coin and ut will grow altcoin markets
This  was quite expected though since the block reward has now been reduced to half and thus many small miners won't be able to generate the profits anymore.
They won't have any option and thus will have to move to altcoins. We can't guarantee if this will boost the altcoins market but we might see a little change in the altcoins market in the upcoming days.
4505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not follow every market wave on: May 16, 2020, 04:42:12 AM
That's really a good advice and this must be followed especially by the newbies since they are the most excited ones in the beginning days and try to catch every wave in order to earn more profits quickly and this is where they tend to do the most mistakes.
Newbies should definitely try experimenting in the beginning days but if you are keeping on losing then take a break and find out what you are doing wrong.
Let a few weeks pass and then try to trade again with a better strategy. This will definitely help you in the long run.
Taking breaks are absolutely necessary.
4506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wanna Know how to trade? on: May 16, 2020, 04:31:58 AM
Do you wanna know how to trade briliiantly, then you cannot be afraid,

Traders Fail, Fail, and Fail again and again; but make sure that you learn to fail better, learn to fail in grand styles. Soon you will be be unable to fail because you have experienced what it looks like to fail, and why it happened that you fail.

Thats when you will start to consistently win; let away the fear, fail, embrace the failure by learning to be better; then you will enjoy every bits of trading.
I doubt if anybody can 'consistently win' because luck is also one of the factors while trading.
Your psychology about failing again and again in order to win is absolutely right because I believe the same.
We should keep trying and failing in order to win in the next race but what you term as consistently winning is wrong.
Luck won't favour us all the time. We might fail sometime again but 'not stopping' is what we have to learn and keep going.
4507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market does not respect anyone on: May 16, 2020, 04:25:27 AM
While trading, you need to understand that the market does not respect any one either you are a whale or you trade with little capital.

Always look at the bigger chunks of the market and maintain a balance in trade.
You are being totally judgemental here because the trend does not completely depend on the market.
It depends on a lot of things and the market (demand and supply) is one of them.
The whales can easily manipulate the market if they do have that much capital.
It also depends on the news many times and sometimes the wave is so strong that even the whales find it difficult to ride it.
So blaming the market for your every loss is just lame.
4508  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: 🔴🔴🔴 Do you have a youtube channel with more than 50k Subscribers? on: May 15, 2020, 06:09:51 AM
20 vids a month?

Goodbye quality
Yeah right.
20 videos a month means approx 5 videos a week.
This will definitely degrade the video quality. For a person who does 1 video a week for him surely it will !
4509  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Spent and uncomfirmed transaction. on: May 15, 2020, 06:06:52 AM
Which means ones the first transactions is comfirmed others will follow suit?
Thanks for the feedback
Let's imagine there are 2 transactions.

Transaction 1:
- Sending 1 BTC from X to Y.

Transaction 2:
- Sending 1 BTC (received from X in transaction 1) from Y to Z.

For transaction 2 to be confirmed, transaction 1 must be confirmed (2 depends on 1, since the coins came from there). When it does get confirmed, the latter will be able to confirm as well.

Just to make it clearer: If you were in a hurry, you could make a third transaction from Z with a higher fee (if you are the one receiving) to make all of them get confirmed in chain. This is called CPFP (Child Pay For Parents). When the latter transaction has a sufficiently high fee, the miners will get all the previous ones (X -> Y -> Z -> P) confirmed "in bundle" to grab the higher fee on the last transaction. This happens because the miner has to confirm all the previous ones to make P confirm.
Reading this post made me think of a real life situation. What to do is something like the below scenario occurs.

Assume that person A has sent some bitcoins to person B but fees is so low that the transaction is unconfirmed.
B then sends some bitcoins to person C. Still both the transactions will be unconfirmed since the first one is yet to be confirmed.
Person C is now worried since those transactions are unconfirmed. Person B now tells C that if he wants to get the transaction confirmed then he will have to pay a much higher fees to compensate for the before transactions.

What should C do since he is now forced to pay a higher fees ?

Sorry if the scenario is invalid. Just trying to get a clear understanding on unconfirmed transactions.
4510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hashrate is dropping on: May 15, 2020, 05:27:07 AM
What does this imply? With my initial perception about the topic, some bitcoin miners are now starting to leave the market, as we know the relationship about hash rate and miners, if there are a huge number of miners, there are huge hash rate as well. But one thing I fear about this is that, the lower the hash rate we have about bitcoin network, the more vulnerable it could be.

I have watched some videos before concerning owning 51% of the hash mining power, if we can establish 51% of the worlds hashing power, we might manipulate blocks, though, there's no solid proof of it, I still believe that there will be enough miners to provide us with good service.
Really ?
I don't think that owning more than 51% of the hahing power will give you the ability to manipulate the block reward.
Yes, you can manipulate the transactions and change them to however you want but I think the block reward will remain the same since it has been coded in that way. If you want to change the block reward then you will have to change the way how the bitcoin is coded.
Well this is my understanding. Let me know if I am wrong.
4511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain a Good Career? on: May 15, 2020, 04:58:56 AM
Blockchain is a demanding skillset which not everybody can pursue. There are many companies and startups who pay good amount of salary for Blockchain professionals. The jobs are just increasing every day as many tech companies are getting into Blockchain.
It's definitely a good career if you are well versed with Blockchain.

Some points I noticed

1. Site is lagging on chrome for android. You consider to fix this because users don't like a site lagging. It's just the site and not the phone since other tabs are working fine.
2. Overview of users under the affiliates tab has a cosmetic issue since the alignment is not correct and the text is overlaying the grid.
3. The Add and Reset buttons under affiliate tab are not functioning properly.
4. There is no option to see the history of your game and how much you bet on each round and how much you won.
5. You should consider reframing the word 'isProcessed' to 'Processed' on the withdraw page since it doesn't look quite professional.
6. While on desktop mode you should change the hover over the stand and hit buttons functionality since sometimes even when I hovered over those buttons I was unable to click the button.
4517  Local / India / Blockchain for the Pandemic on: April 24, 2020, 04:34:15 PM
If you were given a task of thinking how can a Blockchain solution be used to treat an issue post the current pandemic what would it be?
How can Blockchain be used to solve a problem occurred in the current pandemic so that it can help us out whenever the next pandemic occurs.

Thinking about the above questions I came up with something.

We all know how Covid-19 is spreading like wildfire these days and it is being difficult day by day to keep a track of every patient.
Even when a patient is discharged in some cases he/she is getting back those Covid-19 symptoms and in some cases people are dying even after being discharged. The number of positive cases, active cases, deceased are increasing daily and it is not being an easy task to keep a track of all of them.

What if Blockchain was used to keep a track of every patient. Every patient's details could be entered in a record and it's hash could be stored on the blockchain so that whenever somebody needed to fetch details of such a patient then it could have been retrieved easily from the Blockchain.
This could also help to identify those cases where people had a history of active Covid-19 case and hence the doctors could treat them likewise.

I don't know if it's a good idea or not but I do know that there is something missing here. There is something that should be added here so that it can be an effective solution.

1. What can be added more here ?
2. What is your idea of a blockchain based solution that can help us post this pandemic?

P.S : The above solution can also be used for distribution of masks and sanitizers and to keep a track record of people who have received them. The record of people can again be hashed and sent to the Blockchain.
4518  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Order Fulfillment time estimation ? on: April 24, 2020, 03:59:57 PM
First thing first, you should only trade on a reputable exchange which has good amount of volume and is really trusted by genuine traders.
Now to answer your question, the time of order being fulfilled totally depends on the volume and number of active trades happening on the exchange.
Your order will be executed as soon as the price is met. If you place an order at 164 satoshis and there is some who is selling at that price then the order will be executed immediately. On the other hand if there is nobody selling at the price you want then you will have to wait until some one places an order at that price.
This is why traders prefer to trade on an exchange with high volume since more number of traders place orders on short period of times thus their orders being executed quickly.
4519  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is good amount to start day trading is 100$ enough?? on: April 24, 2020, 03:18:11 PM
The good thing about cryptocurrencies is that anybody can trade cryptocurrencies and can start with any amount.
But obviously it won't sound logical to start trading with $1 would it ?
So in order to start trading at least consider to invest $50 and see how it goes.
Most traders don't have a good beginning but then earn good profits as they go along the way.
Only experience can make you better. Start with little and increase the capital when you start earning good profits.
4520  Local / India / Re: Alternatives to lockdown in India? on: April 24, 2020, 02:13:50 PM

Am pretty sure the government and the politicians are loving this lockdown by making the public scared as they can just do some freebies and buy political advantage. And the lockdown isn't even yielding any positive results either. What's yoir opinion...
Why do you think that the government and politicians would be loving this lockdown because I think that it would be hurting them the most since they won't be getting any opportunities now to earn from corruption. In my opinion they would want this lockdown to get over ASAP so that they can start earning from their corrupt activities.

The lockdown is not bringing out positive results because there are foolish people out there who are not taking proper precautions and some even more foolish to spread the Covid-19 wantedly by spitting on various places. Not to mention about the Jamat case and the people who are attacking doctors and police.
It's because of such people that the cases are increasing and the lockdown is extending. There is no other option than to extend the lockdown because only social distancing can stop the virus from spreading.

Exactly, lockdown isn't even a good way to control this thing because as a young country, we have too many problems than to focus on a single virus and lockdown indefinitely.

I think we should formulate ways to build the immune system, segragate the youth from the old and open up the markets and make sure the youth don't come in contact with the old since mostly people who are dying are above 70. This way we can make sure we control the disease. A complete shut down is just fraud and no help.
So now you want to separate the elder ones from the young. Imagine you are going out to have a family dinner and they separate you from your parents because they are old and you are young. How will that be ?
Wouldn't it be better not to open such places at all ? Wouldn't it be good to only open up the essential services prior to the non-essential ones and see if that is in our favor or not.

Believe it or not, Modi is taking the right steps which are necessary for our country. It is our duty as the citizens of India to stand together and follow our leader. Only Unity can save us from this pandemic.
