I have a friend who had been scammed and reported his case to police and some authority. Guess what nothing happens on his case, he just forgotten the scam money and now its already considered case closed since they cant track the scammer with the limited information they have like chat, fake social account.

Forget and learn from it. If there anyway you can find the scammer in real life then do it. Post his profile so that he can be punish by some authority. Best way is learn from the mistakes you did. I totally agree. This could be the hindrance for the growth of the privacy coins. Government are against with this as total anonymity could be used for some theft or robbery and they can escape easily without any hassle using those coins. If they have some btc or eth stolen they just exchange it to monero and thats it. No more track, I also see some cex that ban these coins probably due to that kind of nature.

Maybe because guys are more open for ideas and exploring some new tech out there? Probably it would take a lot of time in my country beforr this happen. My country somehow supports some of these cryptocurrency activity, hence our government is unlikely to ban bitcoin and other cryptocurrency but expect some warning for those unregulated or what weve called ICO. Cause SEC in our country will definitely not tolerate any scam projects that lurking in our territory. But if ever this happened. I would still continue to do trading or maybe fly out to a country that accepts or has no banned on crypto.
