I know in (some) real life casinos... if an "overmax" bet is placed:
If it wins, the bet is reduced to the "max bet"... extra wager amount is then returned to the player and the payout is then made accordingly to the "max bet" amount.
If it loses, the bet is reduced to the "max bet"... extra wager amount is then returned to the player and the "max bet" amount is then forfeited as the bet was lost.
I've spent countless hours reviewing footage and tracking down patrons to recover over-payments to patrons who won on an overmax bet... AND to return the "extra" amount on overmax bets that were lost and should not have been taken.
So, personally, I have no problem with them only paying out the max. I don't see that as being "scammy". However, I would consider it a problem if you had lost... and they had then refused to return the "extra" amount that you should not have been able to wager in the first place.
Honestly, this seems more like a "customer service" issue than a "scam".
That being the case, I can't say I'd support this and I certainly don't think you've been scammed out of $9K

From another point of view, if playing the Roulette, I want to bet on Even/or Od I'm able to do, and if I want to bet the same amount on a specific number I can't !? Because the reaching of the limit !?? I'ts simply an aberration! The proper to set, is a maximun bet amount. A casino working this way, is just taking not serious what he's doing
This accusation is not against the site in its entirety, just against that 1 bet. Everything else on the site, minus the bugs I have already reported work fine or are being fixed. Roobet is safe to play on as long as you pay attention to your bets.

Le plus gros risque ici, est de te faire geler tes avoirs après avoir vendu. il parait qu'il y en a à qui c'est déjà arrivé, l'argent provenant du Bitcoin est alors "mal vus", et il s'est fait geler par la banque car il provenait du Bitcoin. Renseigne toi à ce sujet, il paraît qu'il y à une procédure, des 'bonnes pratiques' à suivre afin d'éviter cela.
Il existerait même des conseillers spécialisés pour t'assister dans la procédure.

What do you think of a graduated upgrade that could implement the core/network with a protocol using a second private key for an address, so the core recognise if a address is upgraded to/(have adopted the protocol), and then alow or not the task from that address. As that's would be operated gradually, from a proper adoption of the wallets owners, anybody will forgotten! |

Histoire plate, pas assez travaillé à mon goût, les petits événements s'enchainent l'un à l'autre te menant doucement mais sûrement vers la plus ou moins (Topo 'HAPPY END'), où là tu te demande où sont passées tes deux heures. Donc tu crois qu'un fork ayant pour seul but la sécurité des fonds des utilisateurs de bitcoin ne ferait pas l'unanimité ? Intéressant comme point de vue.
J'ai dû me faire mal comprendre, ce que je voulais dire, est qu'une solution pure et dur pour sécuriser n'est tout simplement pas possible, la seule possibilité envisageable a mon avis consisterait dans la migration de toutes les adresses/clés vers de nouveaux protocoles, ce qui t'obligerait à aller faire signer, ou peut-être transférer toutes tes adresses/wallets. Enfin pour anticiper il faut déjà avoir la solution technique.

Justement non. Bitcoin est un protocole évolutif. Et les mesures de sécurité évolueront en même temps que la puissance de calcul. Donc pas d'inquiétudes à se faire. Le danger d'un ordinateur quantique reside dans le faite qu'il est capable de casser/exptrapoler ou (Brute-forcer) une clé privée à partir de la l'adresse ou de la clé publique. Le fork, ou MAJ risquerait de ne pas très bien passer, puisqu'il nécessite l'adhésion de tout les propriétaires de Wallets vers le nouveau protocole pour les adresses. Ou devrait se faire/commencer le plus tôt possible pour anticiper et prétendre à assurer cette adhésion! |
