Well, it's good to see that at least some action has been done to prevent the spam from spreading. I see a few grammatical errors like you referring to yourself in 3rd person but I guess it works ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
A good idea I think would work even better is just a section for beginners that's above the normal beginners+help that's got posts moved into there directly from the normal b+h to actually help beginners. Just my two cents, I'm just overall glad to see action being done against this issue.

This is the part I'm referring to, it bugs me quite a bit when I read it.

I don't exactly support self advertising, but I definitely have a few questions- for example, you have no escrow or trust established on your new account, and even though you could have the advertised 0.04$/kwh, I really don't think anybody trust you with their miners; seems like a very easy way to scam people. Unless you come up with either of the two, I don't see you getting many customers.

4525  Other / Meta / Re: Shouldn't non productive topics be moved from Bitcoin Discussion to Off-Topic? on: September 26, 2016, 10:04:14 PM
A month ago I reported his. They are all still spamming away. Untroubled by mods or admin.
You said how obvious it all was. The mods/admin could at least communicate about this. Zilch. Nothing. No action.
Banning a account and moving a thread are two different things.Certainly, both actions lead to the well maintained forum but can you imagine how ambiguous it is to go through the post history of all the mentioned accounts and ban them one by one ? I'm not taking sides but the harsh truth is ..it's not upto you or me to ban the accounts. We do our part by reporting them to the Global Mods, rest is their call.

I have found, then been through all 300+ accounts listed as farmed, where is the problem?
And i have also shown many "patterns" to this farming. Detailed checking is not so needed.
Anyway, I managed it. It is FAR easier for theymos, admin and mods to investigate. They have the access required.
(300+ accounts listed by me, all 100% accurate - hence no complaints/protests)

Your exactly right it is not up to me to ban accounts.
But, as I have shown these farmed accounts to be the lowest of quality spammers, and there being no possibility of these farmed accounts EVER being anything other than damaging to real members using the forum, I just want those few real members, and any onlookers, to know who they are mingling with here.

Unlike you, I see the lack of admin/mod action/interest here as reason to protest.
They pretend there are a set of "rules" here. Either action needs to be taken, or the pretend set of rules need to be abolished.

It's just that there's not enough support for this to happen, and like Lauda said in the first few posts, those trash posters will just rise up again and start defending themselves to save their little jobs that they have. I've seen shitposting everywhere, from reddit to bitcointalk, and if anything even reddit has better managing with each section having its own rules and being able to block shitposters. I'd definitely like to see this change happen, but I just don't think it'll happen. If at least we had someone who just read reports and dealt with the issue accordingly we could actually get something done, like a little button at the top just for reporting those people. I wonder how many people are actually legit on this forum... I'm guessing the percentage is lower than 50, what with all of this pointless discussion and farming we have.
4526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: September 26, 2016, 09:53:17 PM
We've been over enthusiastic about the halving and it's not turned out to be as huge of an increase as many people expected; that said, we've gotten some pretty good gains from the 400 we were stagnating at just a few months ago. There is still profit to be found if only you look hard enough; I made quite a bit of profit buying at 400, and I've been rebuying every time there's been at drop in price and I've made quite a lot from it. The price is slowly but surely increasing, and the 12.5 reward is going to be a factor; it's happening before your eyes. It's just slow.

hi ,

iam sorry but there is more than 117 pages lol but i try to find a utilisation guide to how to choise the material etc ..
so if somebody can help to find whats is the best material for start and your council please?

i appreciate thank you very much .

all types miming are useless and not much profitable at the present time . so i think mining is not a option to earn bitcoin . all the mining sites are only ponzi scheme with cloud mining . and hardware mining is not profitable . so keep away this idea of earning btc from your mind .
All types is an exaggeration, altcoins like Ether can be profitable for most, but this is the bitcoin section and I won't go much into that. Cloudmining is indeed never a good idea; if you can't mine yourself, don't expect someone to happily hand you hashrate unless you're buying hosted hardware from a trustable person with good trust. Even then there will be scammers. We need to know your cooling and electric costs first to even be able to take a guess of how you could mine; one thing I will say, however, is that if your electrical costs are above 0.1$/kwh, you will not profit or only get close to ROI.
Once you do provide us with this kind of information, though, we won't really be able to answer well and most answers will be vague.
4528  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I'm New - Need BTC Mining Help on: September 25, 2016, 11:25:05 PM
I'd just skip this generation of miners; it's just not what it was pre -S9. Difficulty's staying at a good level and nothing too big has happened, but there's no 'good' miners for people that can't afford tons and tons of miners; this is the most expensive generation of miners yet, and it's getting more and did more expensive each time. The A7 might be able to compete provided it's cheaper than the S9, but even then roi may not be possible for some.

Hey guys,

We are new to signature campaigns, and didn't realize that it appears to be pretty standard to use an escrow. For this month, we will stick to our word and uphold the agreement on this thread, but we are pleased to announce that starting next month we will be using a signature campaign manager along with escrow! I hope this satisfies some of the concerns posted here. Thanks for sticking with us while we learn Smiley

We have chosen the members below for our first signature campaign. Please note we will get the first payment over by the end of the day today and respond to each of the chosen members' replies on this thread once the bitcoins are sent:

  • Ulloa
  • leowonderful
  • CryptoBjorn
  • Erzatium
  • radhwane
  • skyline_king
  • josephdd1
  • Whosdaddy
  • erpbridge
  • BTCLovingDude

Thanks,
mBit Casino

I'm currently getting the signature on, just give me a few minutes Smiley my address is in my profile. Sounds good that you've decided to get some better organization with this campaign, it wasn't looking too good until now.

Hey leowonderful,

It looks like there may be an extra "[/center" tag at the end of your signature code. If you can please take a look and fix that it would be much appreciated Smiley

Thanks,
mBit Casino
Whoops, didn't even notice! Changing asap, thanks for notifying me. I am currently on a phone so I can't exactly change signatures easily Smiley
4531  Economy / Services / Re: New mBit Casino Signature Campaign! on: September 21, 2016, 07:55:14 PM
The payment of this campaign for one month is good for full members but is a bit on the lower side for the Sr.Members here.

I am saying this because you are a casino and as a casino you can afford to offer much better pay rates for the Sr.Members as you only have chosen 10 members (cost of you 0.50 btc per month) is a bit on the low side here.

I am not saying anything, just expressing my opinion as I am happy where I am in my signature.

Just remember other casinos like Bitsler pay Sr.Member 0.05 btc per week and not for month. Just my suggestion and I wish you good luck on your campaign.
Only issue is that those campaigns require lots of posts; this is a great campaign for people like me if you don't post too often and just do some every once in a while. It's more similar to the Rollin.io campaign, where you get a nice burst of Bitcoin's every month. In addition, Bitsler's always full and there are people trying to join every millisecond. Great campaign imo.

Coinmixer.se also seems like a nice campaign; they have decent rates as well, similar to the old yobit campaign or coinroll. It's all just opinion in the end, though.

4533  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do with Bitcoin? on: September 21, 2016, 07:10:45 PM
I've received well over 1+BTC from signature campaigns and i'm still going up; trading is a nice way to grow your bitcoins slowly without any sort of investor-based Ponzi or scam in your way. Of course I have made a few dollars when I was about 3 months into bitcoin from those games, but it's really not a good way to get any substantial amount of bitcoins. Trading is really good stuff, and it makes you feel good at the end of the day even if you only earn a dollar in profit.

Coin staking is also profitable if you find a good coin, I've just recently started doing it and it's a nice, passive profit for me.
4534  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How much do you earn with mining? on: September 21, 2016, 07:05:30 PM
I am agree with you sir, nowadays even you are going to buy some special hardware miner it still not profitable if you are going to use it to mine bitcoin , you need to find a solar system power to provide cheap electicity than can help you to over power the miner, the passive income for me to earn bitcoin is to do some signature campaign like this.

Yeah me too. Signature campaign is one of the easiest ways to earn some Bitcoin without risking yourself like cloud mining. It is nice income for you while at the same time you learn more about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. I'm looking to switch out to solar mining by the way, so in the meantime I will stick with coin staking as it is energy efficient.  Smiley
Solar isn't the best choice, so I hope that you've already looked into it enough that you understand the initial investment needed and the risk factor; the panels are pretty easily damaged in adverse weather conditions, no matter how it's advertised. Coin staking is a pretty nice passive income, but most of the stakeable coins aren't traded much, with the exception of PPC.

If you're looking at solar for fun, go ahead- I run a few gridseed miners off of a battery in my garage, and it runs just fine. It's definitely interesting to see solar panels get more and more efficient; maybe someday actual mining with them will be possible.

I'm leaving the campaign, unfortunately. This means one more spot is open for all of you opportunists! Have fun, and thanks for having me in the campaign, SFR! I hope to be in some of your future campaigns if the time arises Smiley
4537  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: September 20, 2016, 10:59:02 PM
I think we should buy bitcoins now because the price is beginning to rise again, the future is good so we have to position our self now because as early as we are the more we have a chance to earn more once bitcoin will be a big success in the future.

Yeah you are right, this is the best time to buy coins because price is ready to rise again and this time after halving we get a very good amount and definitely this time price will increase and reach atleast 750$+, so do invest your money in buying coins as well as invest your coins in trading.

Price has been stable at $610 since past few weeks, but I think this is a reasonable price to buy bitcoins as we may see price going higher in coming months and lets hope it crosses $700 very soon.
you are right and im buying bitcoins like crazy right now, i hope that it will make me really easy profit
No profit will ever be easy, but price has for now stagnated at a steady 610 like you said, and just a little bit of buying from a large source could force the price up, supposing another huge dump doesn't happen again. I don't mind if the price stay at 610, it's a good price, don't get me wrong, but if the price of the coin surges too quickly again we'll just drop back down. I'm currently just waiting for price to drop so I can buy at a lower point and sell at a higher point. Not fast profit, but easy, at least. Smiley

Altcoin trading is also something I encourage people to do- the shifting price is a great way to make money. Although it's risky, there's no gain without risk. Trading is a great skill and everyone should at least understand basic principles; it'll make you at least something if you try your best.
4538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1mb is too big on: September 20, 2016, 10:53:48 PM
What's your suggestion? a hard fork? lol

Let the fees raise! miners will love it Wink
As said before by a few other members, once the 2100s arrive, and blocks no longer produce bitcoins(at least through the creation of blocks that aren't related to transaction fees), because of Bitcoin's many denominations(i.e in the future, even 0.0001 btc could be worth something substantial), fees would need to sustain the coin enough to carry it through further. Of course a fork could help once we get to that point and lower blocksize and force fees onto miners, but keeping a small blocksize helps eliminate the sudden change. Transaction fees have been rising constantly throughout the last few years, and I've seen almost no people complain about it except for a few. Things change, and people need to realise that.

Of course blocksize will increase just a tad in the future to accommodate ever increasing volume, but it won't happen with a huge spike from 1mb to 2mb.
4539  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Diff thread Sept 12 to ? Prize = $50.00 Picks are closed! on: September 20, 2016, 10:48:53 PM
There's a cycle, a pattern, that you can see in the 504 block graph especially.  The peaks come and go, but each peak is a little higher than the last one.  I wonder how long this cycle can keep going?  From what I am hearing about the S9 failures, probably not too long unless someone else brings some killer gear to the market (cough cough Avalon where are you cough cough).

I LOST  the s9 control board on my newest s9 the one that lasted 10 hours before it tossed a hash board.
You lost the board? That's pretty odd... but really? It lost a hashboard within ten hours? Hope it still has warranty, because Bitmain's hardware quality is going downhill sharply and it looks like buying extended is going to be a good choice in the future.

Avalon has supposedly already released firmware bits for the A7, and it seems like a 6-7 TH/S miner- not too big, but it could hit home with smaller scale miners and home miners provided it's quiet enough and efficient enough to buy over the S9 or R4. Then there's price...
4540  Economy / Services / Re: :: OneCrypto Signature Campaign - ONE SLOT OPEN! 0.001 Per Post! :: on: September 20, 2016, 10:42:04 PM
I'd like to apply for this campaign. I'll enter further details once accepted, but I have a pretty decent post history and great quality.

Accepted. I understand if you will have some concern regarding my post above, if you want you don't have to join the campaign but you will be first on the list when OneCrypto funds me again. Just confirm.
I'll probably wait till they fund the campaign again; I've had plenty of experience joining campaigns on the last week, and it's usually not been worthwhile for me. Just update or pm me if the situation changes, I'll probably be looking here quite often, but one can never be sure Smiley

Seems like they're having business issues from my perspective, I don't see this going too far in the future. They seem pretty decent, but I'm sure you'll get a response soon, whether good or bad.
